Stopped in for a quick lunch. Restaurant is in the basement and is quite well maintained. Service was prompt and the lunch specials (personal pizza + drink for $13) is a good value. Tried the tandoori chicken pizza and it was delish. Will visit again.

If u like Indian food, this pizza is fantastic!! We ordered 1/2 tandoori and 1/2 curry chicken masala and both were delicious 😋 Would definitely like to try all the pizza flavors!! Went back and tried the achari chicken, butter chicken and palak panner pizzas. They were all delicious 😋 My favorite was the palak panner because it's loaded with cheese. Second favorite was the butter chicken. Everything was full of flavor. The lady that served us was very nice with a great smile. 😊

We made a stopover here for a quick pizza late dinner and it turned out to be such an amazing discovery. Curry Pizza House has all sorts of lil smacking Indian flavored pizzas. We ordered a large pizza with half malai chicken topping and another half of aloo tikki topping. Both flavors were exploring with taste and juiciness. My children got mango lassi and cheese pizza and they loved their orders as well. The restaurant is neat and clean, conveniently located with other eateries and a lot of street parking. The staff were very friendly and prompt. Highly recommended !

We loved the food at Curry Pizza House! The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to deliver a wonderful service. Our favorite appetizer was the garlic sticks - a must try! For pizzas, we loved the Chicken Tikka and the Chicken Supreme. We will definitely be back!

I ordered delivery of two large pizzas (the Marguerite and the Chicken Tikka) for the volunteers at yesterday’s book sale at the South San Francisco library. The chicken tikka was the biggest hit but both were delicious. Curry Pizza House has some very interesting combinations and I want to try the palak paneer next. Highly recommend this place.

I ordered an Indian Gourmet Veggie pizza with vegan cheese and was blown away! I decided to take a picture in the middle on enjoying the pizza and a movie at night so pardon for quality but I had to share with the world and all the vegans — order it! It didn’t have any spices or tasted particularly Indian but it was just the right balance of fresh ingredients and flavors, perfectly melted cheese, thin and crispy crust, not too dry, the best veggie pizza I ever had. I did add pineapple to my pizza, I like how pineapples add a little of sweetness and I always eat pizza with Tabasco 😁

My Family and I stopped here since our flight was canceled. The place was inviting, the server was very kind. The place was clean and the pizza was delicious and toasty. We had a cheese and a pepperoni pizza.

They opened in May 2024! I've been to the Redwood City location and always enjoyed their pizza, especially during the pandemic, and it makes me happy to see them expand! The location here is a bit hidden. There's stairs that lead downstairs to their door, kind of like some establishments in NYC. Boyfriend and I came here in October since we wanted to try the new location. The chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken are always some of my favorite toppings, and my boyfriend agrees with me! We devoured our pizza and really enjoyed relaxing and each other's company with great food here. It was empty when we came in for dinner, and when we were finishing up, a big birthday party adult group came in and were just as delighted to enjoy delicious Indian pizza as we were. Would definitely come back for more pizza cravings!

We ordered the cheese breadsticks and chicken wings. There was a buy-one-get-one deal on the cheese breadsticks, so the second portion was free, which was nice, but it ended up being a lot of food The breadsticks were okay, not the best I've had, but the chicken wings were good! Plus they gave us lots of condiments which is definitely a big bonus. When I came to pick up the food, I also really liked the interior. The place was busy, but not noisy, and it felt like a great spot for a work party or a small gathering with friends. It seems easy to book, and they have pizza, other food options, and a minibar, which is a nice touch. Overall, I'd give this place 4 stars. It wasn't especially memorable, but it was definitely good and worth trying. I think we'll come back and give it another shot. I believe they also have a location in San Mateo, but I'm not 100% sure.

This place scratches an itch but you really need to be in the mood. It's pretty pricey for what it is and sometimes it can be mediocre pizza. But other times it can be a serious craving to have a spicy surprising flavor pizza. The service is good. The place is a classic pizza spot with just the essentials. Again, its medium and great when you really want it.

Summary: Standard fare pizza with interesting flavors Details: I don't really have a ton to say here. While their pizza certainly isn't bad, texture-wise, it's nothing special or different from your typical pizza joint: expect a decent chew and crispy base. What makes them a bit more interesting is their selection of flavors, which, as one might be able to guess from the name, includes a good variety of Indian inspo, with toppings like butter chicken and aloo ghobi. Go elsewhere if you're looking for fancy Neopolitans or the like, but if you're looking for some solid fusion pizza, CPH isn't a bad choice. Accessibility: Basically none, unfortunately. In theory someone should have a key to an elevator somewhere that can possibly take you up here, but we had no luck finding the person holding the key, nor the elevator that seemed like it'd work, so my wife ended up ordering it to go.

Visited on Tuesday with a friend, restaurant had a few other guests but plenty of space. Located on the basement level inside a complex of other business but they are right at the bottom of the stairs. Decided to grab a seat at the bar. Drinks: Solid selection of beer on tap as well as and wine by the glass Food: Curry Chicken Masala Pizza - good, ordered the small slice which was about 12" wide cut into 8 small slices, generous amount of toppings, nice medium spice level with great curry flavor, chicken was tender, veggies were really fresh Service was okay, it's a casual spot with one server, so took a few minutes to get orders in but once placed food and drinks arrived quickly. Came for Trivia night which was really fun. Would recommend giving this spot a try if you're craving Indian pizza. Overall enjoyed the food and drink at Curry Pizza house, would definitely come back to try and hit happy hour.

Best UberEats order I've had all year. I recently got into Indian pizza when I read about its history in SF (it was started here!) I had some a few weeks ago and wanted my partner to try some as I knew he'd enjoy it. We shared a medium chicken tikka masala pizza and got a mango lassi each. Curry Pizza House sells both regular and Indian pizza, different types of wings, and more--there's something for everyone! The pizza was yummy and messy--it was full of well-grilled and flavored chicken (a lot of chicken! They did not scrimp on chicken!) The garlic sauce flavor was strong but not overwhelming, and it packed a good punch despite not covering each slice. It was moist and flavorful, and came with fresh veggies on top too (green peppers, chives?, green onions?, and onions.) The mango lassi was sweet--he'd never had one before, and had about half of it before declaring I could have the rest and that it was like a mango smoothie. (I said, of course, which is why I love it and finished his the next day.) The medium pizza was perfect to share. He had a little more than me (he should, he's larger than me) and we were both full and satisfied. Will definitely order from them again! Great for groups.

The parking here is fairly easy because there is plenty of street metered parking on Grand. You have to go into a building and down some stairs across from city hall to be able to find this place. It is literally a hidden gem. The interior is clean as you walk in. The murals inside along with the lighting has a cool vibe. There is plenty of seating. This place would actually be perfect to catch up with friends and coworkers. The TV set up is ideal to watch a game. There was a pickleball tournament on when I did some takeout on a Saturday night. I'm thinking that when basketball season starts I would love to watch a Warriors game here. The XL pizza is worth the price! It is huge and can feed quite a few people. If you want to try some pizza with unique flavors that are different than your average toppings then please give this place a try. The chicken tikka was one side of the pizza I ordered and I'll definitely come back for it. The garlic sauce is creamy, but not overpowering. The chicken bits are tender and the flavor is delicious. The other side was aloo chaat. The marinated potatoes are probably my favorite part of this flavor. I cannot wait to come again to try more flavors. The service is quick for takeout. I cannot recommend this place enough and I hope you choose to support this local business the next time you have a craving for pizza.

Stumbled across this place while searching for a later night eat and was pleasantly surprised! The restaurant is tucked away inside a hall that contains multiple small businesses which I found to be pretty cool. If you haven't tried Indian inspired pizza then you're missing out. Curry pizza house is a great place to go! The dine in experience is nice as the service is great and the pizza comes to you nice and fresh. Highly recommend the tandoori flavor. Can't wait to try more!

I was looking for another pizza place to try since I happened to be in the area recently. This place sells BOTH classic pizzas and the traditional Indian-style pizzas so I knew I had to try it. I went here on a weekday for lunch and there was no wait! The restaurant was actually very empty when we arrived, which made me wonder if the food will be good or not. We ordered the Meat Lover's Pizza, Tandoori Chicken Pizza, Garlic Sticks w/ Cheese, Tandoori Wings, and Mango Lassi for our drinks. The pizza was loaded with toppings, while the chicken wings I tried were super flavorful with a nice level of spice to it. I liked everything I tried that day and liked how the food wasn't too spicy. I'd recommend this place! They have the option to order a half and half style pizza if you can't make up your mind on what to order AND a good variety of American style and Indian style pizzas too! They even sell items such as garlic sticks, wings, and Indian drinks.

Ever since Bravo's Pizza closed down the street, my parents were looking for a similar pizza place that they wouldn't have to drive all the way down to the South Bay for. I came across this place on yelp and it was very satisfying to their palette. I got the Indian Gourmet Veggie pizza for them with additional toppings like pineapple and jalapeño to give it that extra kick they want. Parking outside is metered but I've always been able to find something for the quick pick up. I have yet to dine in but whenever I pick up my order, the employees are very nice and come out to help me right away. You have to go downstairs to enter the restaurant as the space is shared by a couple other businesses. The location is very convenient and the pizza makes my parents happy :)

Came here on the weekend for dinner and felt like I was entering a secret level, haha. The restaurant is located inside a shared space and you have to take the stairs down to it once you enter from the street. It is right next to Mom's tofu house. The interior was clean, spacious, and bright! It's deeper than it looks, and the same can be said for the bathroom. It wasn't busy on a Sunday night so the workers were chilling inside the kitchen snacking on pizza. There was one other party there when we went. As the staff was inside the kitchen, the music was off - which I didn't mind at all. They turned it back on when they finished up inside the kitchen. The wait wasn't bad for two pizzas and there are TVs lining the wall. The bar looks cool and chill and the bathroom is clean and modern. The pizza were delicious and we enjoyed our two choices of the butter chicken and combo. They have a lunch special M-F ranging from a 1-topping with soda ($9.99) to a special pizza with soda to some other option I forget. You can add in a salad and side (?) for an extra $2.99. I would definitely come through here again. The service was prompt despite being sparse and everything was clean. My only criticism is the water had something floating in it... Maybe because it's tap water?

I ordered my pizza through their website. I had low expections, but I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. It was a little hard to find. I had to enter a building and downstairs where they share the basement with another retaurant. The first things I saw when I entered were a bar and plenty of seating. The restaurant had several big screen TV's installed. The pizza was serve hot, and they had plenty of toppings. The recipe they used were amazingly delicious. No cheese packets here because this is Indian Pizza.

Curry Pizza House is my food hyper fixation right now. I crave this all the time! Their lunch specials are such a great deal. For $9.99 or $11.99 you can get either a classic or craft personal size pizza + a drink. I love their curry chicken masala pizza, it literally tastes like a naan bread w/ veggies & butter chicken on it. So delicious! They're also SUPER generous with their toppings. Each bite had toppings on it, there wasn't a single empty space on this pizza! There's a lot of locations in the Bay but this one is my favorite. They're located across SSF City Hall and in the same building as Dead Eye Coffee & Mom's Tofu House. Service is fast & kind, the pizza always comes out hot and fresh within 10 minutes. Last time I came the employee working the counter said he just baked some cookies and offered me a free one :)

Arrived at 6:20pm on 8/13/2025 for the Happy Hour that was on the sign outside the entrance (Picture attached). We proceeded to the ordering station and ordered a Large Pizza. After the man who took our order rang up our total, I asked how come we did not get the 20% off that was on the sign outside. His reply "There is no discount for happy hour". He went ahead and charged us full price as we waited. Then, suddenly the fire alarm for the entire building goes off (attached video). We asked to take our order to go because of the fire alarm although he told us it was okay to stay (???). As we walked outside the building, I took a picture of the 20% off sign and showed it to him. He then took my phone number so that his manager could call me to give us the discount, however, I have not received any call yet. Hopefully I do get a call back from the manager to address this completely unacceptable behavior from the staff. Update: Thank you for replying 'Rachel' however I have a full picture that I have now added to my review that shows your happy hour is from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. so I'm a little confused how you now updated it to 6:00 p.m. after I left the review. Update 2: Rupi contacted me directly and promised to fix this. I really appreciate it and have updated my review to reflect the pizza which was deeeeelicious. Hopefully the staff will be trained better when I return.

After years of having Curry Pizza House on my to-try list, I finally visited and now I'm kicking myself for not going sooner. The restaurant is located on the ground floor next to Mom's Tofu inside the shared retail brick building. We ordered the masala chips, Desi garlic sticks, and an XL pizza with half shahi paneer and butter chicken. The garlic sticks were more like a cheesy mini pizza, but with Desi sauce it gave it much more flavor. The paneer pizza was delicious, and the cilantro on top added a freshness to every bite. The service and staff were great and offered great recommendations. Curry Pizza House exceeded my expectations, I'm bummed I didn't try it sooner!

Great happy hour (M-F 5-7pm). Excellent crust! Tasty toppings. Got the half n half pizza with palek paneer and butter chicken. Both sides had a nice background heat. The chicken was juicy and went well with the tomato and red onion. The palek paneer had a great mix of spices and a nice amount of spinach and paneer. Service was good and the pizza came out quick.

This place is pretty clean, I'll give them that. But overall, there's room for improvement. We came here for happy hour (4p-7p M-F). We ordered 2 Samosas and a large Half n Half pizza (Margherita & Chili Paneer) $8 for 2 Samosas seems a bit extreme. And the one I had was hot on the outside, but the center was refrigerator cold. That was the first disappointment. The pizza was very tasty, so no problems there. Service, however, was a bit subpar. We were one of three tables that were seated in the dining room at the time, so it was far from busy. When the pizza came, we were not asked if we needed utensils. And during our meal, we were never checked on. Then when we went to pay, we were told how much the tab was, but we had to ask if it included the 20% off Happy Hour discount. If we didn't ask, we would've been charged full price. Not sure if I'll be back. If I'm ever in that building again, it'll likely be either for the coffee spot upstairs or the Korean spot next door.

So this is located in the basement area of a food plaza. Overall, pretty great location in South San Francisco with many different restaurants around. parking is fairly easy, plenty of metered parking (and a few small parking lots around. As many of the other reviews had mentioned, this is a pretty cute restaurant nicely decorated, yet also very very empty on a Saturday evening at 5pm. There were two Indian guys waiting in the front. And they rushed over to seat us. Honestly, pretty typical of an Indian restaurant service. We saw prior reviews that the white said was interesting, but proceeded to get the half and half large pizza ($29.99), half Tandoori chicken and half Curry Chicken Masala. The pizza was pretty good and flavorful. The chicken on top does seem like it may be pre-cut and pre-placed but it was still really tasty. Almost tasted like a premade frozen pizza the curry sauce was really light. The Desi garlic sticks were actually pretty big lol. It was in the format of a 12 inch pizza with cheesy garlic on top. Along with pesto and sliced red onions. Highly recommend! Overall a pretty great deal!! I did the yelp check in for the garlic sticks which they honored :) had about half of this to take home for later (two of us ate)

Located downstairs right next to Mom's Tofu House. Plenty of beer, TVs, and seating. If you can't find street parking, Miller Avenue Garage is just across the street. I ordered the Tikka Masala Pizza hoping for a flood of spices. It tasted more like faint alfredo sauce topped with chicken. I think it should come with a dip to enhance the flavors. The crust was decent.

We came for the grand opening deal and we're the first few people in line. This place is among other businesses on the lower floor. It was a decent crowd for the event, but the service was nice and fast, and very friendly giving us samples of their Mango Lassi. We ended up getting the Chicken Tikka 8" Pizza and the Chili Paneer 8" Pizza that only took a few minutes to come out. The Chicken Tikka was unexpectedly with a Cream Sauce instead of a Masala Sauce like I am used to and lacked flavor. On the other hand, the Chili Paneer had a lot more flavor from the Curry Sauce combined with the Onions as well as Tomatoes and Bell Peppers, had a good cheese pull, and was nice and saucy. Overall, nice trendy joint to hang out and grab a bit to eat that is different from your usual Pizzas.

Ordered takeout here today! I was so excited to find out that they have different assortments of sauces! We ordered the kids build your own with the garlic white sauce and half and half topping free of mushrooms and tandoori chicken. Chicken Caesar salad, lemon pepper wings and the desi garlic sticks. Everything was amazing! The food was packaged into safe containers so there was no spillage when receiving food! Shows that the service is very attentive.

Came in for the grand opening 100 pizza giveaway. We must've been #50 in line and it didn't take that long to get our pizza from opening to take out. F O O D Hubs and I both got the Tikka Masala Pizza. It wasn't too spicy, which was nice. The crust could've been a little crispier on bottom, but that's the only feedback. The pizza had a good amount of spice/flavor with sauce on top. I don't drink, but there's 16 beers on tap. A M B I A N C E We loved the pizza window. This place is surprisingly spacious and would be a great place to watch a game or host a party. S E R V I C E Service was fast and efficient. We looked at the pizza window for a while because my toddler would've gotten fidgety otherwise and someone came out to check on us. Five stars for an efficient and delicious operation. We'll be back to try another pizza.

First time trying Indian style pizza and obviously trying curry pizza house in general. This is a new location that's been open for about two months on the very popular grand st. It sits right next to La tapatia and is honestly in the most perfect location. The space is downstairs next to mom's tofu house and it's quite spacious. We walked in on a Thursday night and it wasn't very busy. We were immediately sat down and decided to order a small chicken tikka pizza which comes with 8 slices (plenty for two people) and lemon pepper wings. The server told us it would be about 15 minutes and threw a window, You can see the workers making the pizza from the dining area. We didn't know what to expect but omg was the chicken tikka good and fresh. It comes with a white sauce and when we asked what it tasted like, the worker said it was like a ranch sauce with herbs in it. The chicken was tender and flavorful and the green onion and cilantro gave me different bursts of flavor. Their dough is also nice and crispy. We also really enjoyed their lemon pepper wings which were crispy and came with a side of ranch. The staff is very attentive and friendly and seem like they are getting a lot of to-go business.

SSF finally has a curry pizza place in town. It took over the old Armstrong brewery spot, but in a way pays homage to them by still having their cooler with stickers and serving beer. This venue will be great for sporting events as it has multiple TVs that could be great for game day. The staff and owner were super friendly and definitely gave a welcoming vibe, even switching the channel on a few of the TVs so we could watch a second round NBA game. The food options are on point for a chain. The bread had a nice crunch and good consistency. The pizzas came out in a decent cadence and time. The sizes range from small to xl so there is a size for every group. Our pizza had a nice chew and topping to pizza ratio. I definitely enjoyed the tandoori and chilli paneer toppings and will order again. The desi bread is also a nice alternative to the common garlic breads you see and almost is like a pizza itself.

A great start to their soft opening! Stopped by for lunch with a friend during a workday. Since it was their soft opening, the place was empty, allowing me to admire the art on the wall and the clean interior. They were still putting up some light decorations, which was very nice to watch and experience, as it felt like I was a part of their beginning steps as a restaurant. We got: - Masala chips - Large Pizza, half curry chicken masala, half tandoori chicken. The masala chips were nice and crispy, yet had a fluffy interior. Dusted with masala seasoning, these chips were delicious and packed a slight kick halfway through. The pizza was good too! The crust was semi-buttery with a nice crunch. Highly recommend the tandoori chicken pizza if you're a fan of white sauce on pizza. Large pizzas and XL pizzas come with the option of splitting half and half on flavors. This may be a better option if you want to try more flavors. Ranch was extra, but I would recommend it for the chips and pizza. As we were about to grab the check, a server walked past us with a large tray of mango lassi, which looked very good and refreshing! Will have to return and try that out along with the other flavors of pizza!

Wow! What a great find! A contemporary Indian Pizza Place on Grand Ave. My husband and I were looking to get something to eat and knowing South City we knew our options were limited at 9 PM. This place opens till 10 PM! We bought an extra large because we needed to take some home for our son. Our server recommended choosing two different flavors of pizza. So we picked one side sides, spicy, and one side curry. The pizza had a nice thin crust, and there was literally so much chicken on the pizza that we could've made a meal just from what fell off of it onto the plate! The salads there are reasonable too, so the next time we go, we'll take our son and share one. They also have the cheapest soda cans that I've ever seen. The restaurant is really stylish for the location. Our server was so helpful, It was really a pleasant surprise. Large TV screens were on every wall and six were along the length of the restaurant. It would be the perfect place to watch the 49ers or Warriors! You wouldn't have to struggle to get near a screen.

I was really excited to try this place and support a new local restaurant in downtown (even if its a chain)! My husband and I brought our toddler to dine in after returning from a trip with no motivation to cook. We've had Indian/Pizza fusion before and really love a good flavorful chicken tikka pizza! We walked in and the place was completely empty-- no staff, no customers, no sign of life. I ran the small bell at the front counter multiple times and waited for a few minutes then walked back and didn't see anyone. The place itself was really clean, spacious, with multiple TVs mounted on the walls showing different sporting events. After awhile, I peered into the kitchen window and saw a male & female worker apparently arguing? The male worker saw me and came out the front where I asked if the place was open. I should've honestly taken this as a sign to run for the hills :( He told me that they only had 2 people working so they were sorry. I am not sure if this means they were too understaffed? Anyways, my hunger outweighed my good judgement here as we proceeded to sit down and ordered an XL pizza (half chicken tikka masala+ half butter chicken) and an order of the garlic sticks w/jalapeno + pineapple (I showed the server the free check in deal for garlic sticks and he said he'd take it off at check out). He then proceeded to disappear in the back to help his coworker make the food. During this time, another customer came down to pickup his togo order-- he also rang the bell, waited, and walked around confused. I told him to try knocking on the window and finally he caught the attention of that same guy who helped him pick up his order. Our garlic sticks came out first and it was really good! I liked the pineapple jalapeño flavor and was pretty excited for the pizza. Once the pizza came out, it looked very appetizing but after trying a few bites of each flavor...I was left wanting more flavor, more pizazz! The chicken was plentiful but it tasted like it was like chopped can chicken without fresh chicken texture and the sauce/flavor for both the tikka masala & butter chicken was kinda bland. The food was disappointing, the service definitely needed improvement, and to top it off, they did NOT honor my help check in deal for my garlic sticks and added it to the bill anyway even though I reminded them. I really want to support all the local spots on downtown SSF but this...this ain't it.

Finally got a chance to try this! Pizza was delicious. Amazing deal. Quite literally a hole in a wall find! Chicken Tikka pizza - 8/10, literally what you would have but on pizza. Desi garlic stick - 10/10. This surprised me. Shout out to Yelp check in for this offer. It was something new and took me by surprised. The garlic sticks were the same size as the small pizza. Can't wait to visit again and try more pizza. I'm a football fan so it's nice that they have TV showing the game and have a deal for $5 pint or $20 pitcher.

WOW ! First time here yesterday. What a treat. Restaurant is spotless, service and staff couldn't be nicer. We started with the Baked Masala Chips - OMG, they were outstanding and the sauces provided super yummy. We Love and Crave Indian Pizzas and appreciated the many options. We ordered "3" small pizzas, different flavors. We were shocked at how big the small pizzas were and they were cut perfectly in wedges - $18.99 Food arrived promptly and flaming hot. Each pizza was loaded w/toppings, loved the sauce and the crust. Curry Chicken Masala - little spicy, but very good. Tandoori Chicken - our favorite Achari Chicken - 2nd favorite We will be back, it was Delicious Love to support small businesses and the area is quite charming and chill.

My husband ordered pizza for delivery for my daughter's bday. They did a great job getting our order done correctly. I highly recommend the chicken archari pizza. It's abundant with tomatoes that make it taste super fresh!

Delicious pizza and the Indian varieties are excellent -- though I wish the flavors were stronger. Service was fine. This location is in a basement that is trying to be hip but the dynamic lighting is a bit distracting when you're just trying to eat.

Ordered to-go while sitting at counter bar sipping a pint of cider. Took home combination wings, small size of Butter chicken, Tandoori chicken and gracious order of Curry chicken. All portions were of good servings. Tasty Tandoori, not spicy Butter chicken and Curry chicken had a kick. 16 generous slices in small size. Wings delicious, I understand they were marinated - Host Rupi made the selections and I enjoyed. 4stars only because no wine offered by glass (as if I needed after wine tasting upstairs at #sfws Will return. Tried this place for the first time recently! It is located on the basement level of a plaza. I had a lot of high hopes. First of all, the service was excellent. The cashier was welcoming and helped us with a big smile. They even offered us ranch with our meal. As for the pizza, it didn't meet my expectations. The crust was quite hard and chewy, borderline stale. Same with the garlic bread. It was way too dry and chewy. The toppings were good, (they really load it up especially for the combo side!!). The tomato sauce was sparse and unmemorable. I liked the butter chicken but wish it was more creamy.

Had to try it , like a moth to a flame . Came in with good expectations. 6:30 Wednesday evening. Clean spacious joint. No people beside the two people working . Greeted the server. Not even a welcoming demeanor. More like what do you want. So we ordered the large 2 combination pizza. Which give us a try at Indian pizza two different ways. The garlic bread. Mango lassi. We also order two draft beers $10 each. The garlic cheese Bread , mango lassi and beers came out first. Impression fast and hot. But all we had to eat with was napkins and hot sauce on the table. A little later we got paper plates. I was wondering why ?? Paper plates at a sit down restaurant??? No silverware. No spoons or forks. Bread was nice with ranch and Mexican hot sauce (on table) . Pizza came out next . Wasn't bad . To me lacked any flavor, smelled of cumin. I liked the bread sticks more . Several more patrons came in for Togo orders. Beer was ok nothing fancy. I would pass unless they have some special items. They also had 25% off with the signs outside. Of coarse we didn't get that value.

@currypizzahouse blends the bold, aromatic flavors of Indian cuisine with the cheesy goodness you love. I know it sounds crazy but these two things go SO well together that I find myself thinking of it often. The crust here is also phenomenal! Grab a slice, and let your taste buds travel! It's HUGE inside so there is plenty of seating!

I really love the Indian style pizzas served at this and other Curry Pizza Houses. I've been to at least 3 other locations in the bay area and the service and Pizza quality seems very consistent. Also, ask for or check their lunch specials as well, they are a great deal! The South San Francisco location is where I go to. I mostly go there for lunch and the place is very quite and the service is excellent. Thank you Curry pizza house!

Great place for Pizza! It came to us newly found as their lunch special was just the right size as a personal pizza. The service is great and the food was just delicious! Maybe because not many people know about them, and they were able to focus on the quality of the food which is GREAT! But nonetheless, it's a spot we like for Indian cuisine on a PIZZA! It's like having your Naan and not having to dip it because it's already on top. =) yummmm! Our favorite is Butter chicken, Tandoori chicken and I'm still working on trying as many pizza as possible here. =)

We would have given 5 stars, but they turned the TVs off 15 minutes before closing, while the game was still on! Well, maybe 4 stars, since some of the wings were not fully cooked. The wing sampler was excellent otherwise with amazing flavors. The butter chicken pizza was tasty. The works pizza was Italian style, with an amazing Italian sausage on top. We would return, just not within an hour if closing...

I had no idea what to expect but this place is incredible! We ordered a medium pepperoni and a small margarita and all I can say was they were both delicious! They are generous with the toppings and the pizzas were cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the pizzas. Can't wait to try out the rest of the menu!

Tried wings (tandoori and curry) and pizza (chilli paneer and chicken Tikka). Everything was good! I will definitely come back again!

I ordered a large pizza half Butter Chicken and half Desi BBQ chicken. Both were pretty good but could use more sauce. I called to order over the phone and picked up myself. The process was smooth and I had no issues.

There are two take-out experiences with their lunch menu: 2--Specialty Pizza, 8" with a drink (soda). I think they lowered the price for the lunch special. My second order was $2 cheaper than the first, but I don't know. I tried the butter chicken and curry chicken masala. They're delicious! I liked the crust which is thin and not doughy. There was a lot of topping that they kept falling off! Both visits were at lunchtime and the restaurant was empty. I hope I came on the odd days. i think their offerings are very tasty and I'll support this business.

Got the chicken masala pizza based on reviews and it was very taste. The pizza crust is perfect soft yet crunchy. It is a tough combo to perfect but they sure have! I would consider the Chicken masala pizza for like a normal western pizza, didn't taste like Indian food on top of a pizza. It is perfectly spicy. Clean new place. The restroom was out of order. They do have an elevator for people that need handicap entrance but there are a bunch of stairs to go down to the place. They honored the free garlic stick as well on Yelp!

This place needs more love! We found Curry Pizza House because we actually regularly frequent a restaurant next door in the same building. Before my most recent visit, I had only had curry pizza once. But I love curry and naan, and I love pizza. So really--what's not to love? It just makes sense when you think about it. When we arrived, we were the only patrons other than a couple folks picking up orders. We ordered a Chicken Tikka Pizza and some mozzarella sticks. The owner was really nice and thanked us for coming in. They have a lot of different options, so we'll have to come back and try the whole menu! The pizza was thin crust, and it was not greasy at all. Most impressively, all the chicken on the pizza was tasty and moist, and they did not skimp on the meat! And all the veggies tasted fresh and weren't soggy. Plus it was hot and just so so tasty. My skeptical boyfriend was really impressed. If I could provide a suggestion/feedback, I think they could level up the pizza by providing chutney in squeeze bottles, or just a little bit on the side. That's the only thing we felt was missing from an otherwise awesome meal!

I tried ordering the lunch special and it was not straightforward. Every time she added on a can of soda or a salad the price got more expensive. Not really a lunch special if there are add-ons that jack up the price. This was very confusing, and even though I wanted to try their pizza, I was not able to order one. There is a personal size pizza and a small size pizza. I might come back and try to order again but I definitely didn't have the patience for this confusing process today. The woman running the cash register was very nice, but the whole situation was definitely confusing and I ended up not ordering anything and walking out.

It tastes good and the restaurant area is very spacious. Happy to try more items next time.
