15 Top Restaurants in Hoboken | Eater NY

"Lots of places in the metropolitan area dispense Mumbai street snacks, but none quite so well as Curry Up Now, a lively and colorfully decorated fast casual spot with seating inside and outside. Vada pav is a pair of buttered and toasted buns into which are loaded round potato fritters with a pleasing cumin flavor, and lots of a fiery spice powder known as Bombay dust. Plenty of other snacks and curries, including vegetarian and chicken versions, are worth checking out." - Robert Sietsema

As soon as we entered this place, Felt cute however we didn't saw any Indian folks at the front desk and pre-assumed. God knows how's the food gonna be. We ordered just one dish and after tasting Omg we couldn't stop. Order at least more than 5 platter. Everything was great. Kathi roll was not that great though. Server offered my some snacks for little one as well.

Over all a good experience. We ordered the Punjabi 69, chicken Kathi roll, pav bhaji and dal halwa. Punjabi 69 was delectable. The Kathi roll was bland and had gravy..a no for us. Pav bhaji was good . Dal halwa was an utter disappointment..Seemed like they served up some frozen good, which wasn't even thoroughly heated up. Will recommend for a visit

This place is awesome! As soon as we walked in, it smelled so good and the staff were greeting us with a smile. The menu was very large, but the employees were ready to break it all down for us. I got the tikka masala bowl and it was delicious 🤩

I cannot say one bad thing about this place! The vibes, the menu, the branding, the food, the service: everything was amazing! The kids enjoyed the fryums so much that the owner came out and gave them a whole big bowl of them to munch on.

WOW 👌 I am so happy that I found this restaurant. Delicious food & so many different options in the menu. While I was sitting and eating, I kept looking at the menu for the next visit 😋 Rachel provided great customer service, and she is very knowledgeable about all the food in the menu. Can't wait to go back ☺️

Curry Up Now in Durham boasts a fantastic location and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. The ambiance is vibrant, making it a nice spot to grab a quick bite. However, when it comes to the food, the experience is somewhat mixed. While some items were enjoyable, the menu features several twists that stray far from authentic Indian flavors. Dishes with stuff like jam on rice, mozzarella on curry sauce, and curry burritos with avocado, although creative, didn't taste good, and miss the mark for Indian cuisine enthusiasts, in addition of being overpriced for what they offer. If you're in the mood for a quick and casual meal, Curry Up Now might just do the trick. But for those craving a true taste of Indian cuisine, this might not be the spot. Despite the lack of authenticity, the overall dining experience was still enjoyable thanks to the great staff and lively vibes.

My mother and I visited Curry Up Now and we were not disappointed. I normally do not eat Indian food except a couple frozen dinners I grab. The cashier was amazing she answered every question and knew the menu like the back of her hand. I selected the tikki masala bowl and it was amazing. Great flavor and the lentils and rice worked wonders on my tongue. I’m very excited to try other things on the menu. I am totally going back. The naan bread was also fire. 10/10 experience.

The person who took our order walked us through the menu before we ordered which was appreciated as it was our first time here. I had a chicken tikka masala burrito and it was delicious and spicy!
