I order burger and fries for me, None of the thing was fresh. Chicken was chewy and not crispy at all. The lady was good enough to offer me new burger but I didn’t feel like getting another one. Chicken tikka was not good either.

Google
Despite its fast-casual setup, this is one of my favourite places to order Indian food. The chicken biryani is delicious with fragrant basmati rice and juicy chicken chunks. I also like the bite-sized and large versions of the crunchy samosas. I'm a huge fan of street food, and Curry Up Now does it best.

Google
This place is situated in the corner of Irvine Spectrum Mall and it exudes a cool vibe. It's a cute and cozy spot where you can indulge in a variety of Indian street snacks. We opted for samosa chaat and bhelpuri. The flavors aren't very spicy, so if you enjoy a kick of spice, this might not be your go-to. Nonetheless, it's worth trying on occasion. The prices are reasonable considering the portions served.

I used to go to the one in San Mateo, the food is just so so good, and the portions are wonderful. Lots of vegan options, and my partner and I had a wonderful time sitting at the island area and the light wonderful. It was a great date/brunch time.

OC Reviews

Google
I tried the Chicken Tikka Marsala. I thought the flavor was different from what I had at other Indian restaurants, it’s not creamy or sweet as a typical Indian restaurant. The little colorful puffs was a nice touch and would like to eat a bowl of those by itself. The service was friendly, the place was clean, and the food came out plentiful and quickly. I would definitely want to come back and try other dishes.

✨HIDDEN GEM in The Irvine Spectrum Center ✨ Great fast, casual Indian food. Very colorful, eye catching wall art as soon as you walk in. Seating inside and outside. Definitely great for sharing! - Mini Samosas Comes with Cilantro & Tamarind Chutney - Sexy Fries An Indian-inspired poutine - sweet potato fries topped with cheese and choice of protein (we had lamb) - Death By Tikka Masala Thali Chicken tikka masala, paneer tikka masala or a combo of chicken and paneer, daal lentils or chana, turmeric rice, mini samosa, fryums, & kulcha naan - Meat Sweats Thali Lamb Keema, ghee makhni butter chicken, kadhai chicken (Contains Cashews), turmeric rice, mini samosa, fryums, & kulcha naan

Delicious food. Good variety and unique options. The dal is very well cooked and delicious. Sexy fries are a unique experience. It is a good place to eat while hanging out with friends and family. As the location is in Irvine spectrum you can do lot of things.

Indian food with a bit of a Mexican twist. Colorful and bustling atmosphere with a diverse variety of food. Absolutely delicious and I highly recommend their Paneer Biryani. Friendly staff too, of course.

Yelp
Curry up now is a great Indian fusion spot located in Irvine spectrum! It is in a convenient location to stop by after shopping. We got their paneer naan pizza and bhal puri. Both dishes were great! I could taste the great Indian flavors but just more constructed than more traditional dishes! It did cure my craving for Indian food. The service is fast and the portions aren't the biggest but it is nice to get a few shareables between people. It doesn't get too busy and has lots of indoor seating too. Overall, I'd recommend this place if you're looking for a fast and hearty meal!

Yelp
I love Curry Up as a spot for a fast bite! Do you like Indian food? Curry Up is a different spin on that, and they call this "Indo-Californian Cuisine." It's a blend of Indian food, with California stables like burritos and other street food. Everything here is so full of flavor! Some of my personal favorites are Sexy Fries (poutine, but with an Indian twist), and the Tikki Masala burrito! While there's not a lot of room to sit at the Irvine Spectrum Curry Up Now location, service is fast if you're taking something to go. PROPS: Great food, great flavor, and fast! SLOPS: This location can get cozy on a busy day. Consider taking Curry Up to go!

Yelp
First time trying Curry Up Now at the Spectrum, and while the food was relatively solid, the service and prices left something to be desired. SOLID SPICE: I'll start with the pros. The chili chicken was solidly spicy and quite delicious. And the menu looked very robust. I would definitely want to try more items! But... LONG WAIT TIME: From ordering to actually receiving my To-Go order I waited around 15-20 minutes, which for quick service is pretty rough. 3-4 parties who came right before and multiple after me got served before I did. If it was a sit down spot that would be normal but this was not the case. PORTION SIZE: the portions were underwhelming, particularly on the entree portions. I know this is a food truck concept, turned brick and mortar, but even still, I expected at least a side of rice with my chili chicken, not just a take out box of chicken. PRICE: the kids meal was $8, which is actually pretty good for a medium sized burrito, fried chips, and cookies. But the chili chicken street food for $15, and the Topo Chico sparkling water for $4.50 felt egregious. Overall, the staff were helpful but not communicative or apologetic at all about the wait. Multiple diners seemed confused, or needed additional items and had to go up front to ask. I would come pack to give a second chance, especially if I was in the area, but unfortunately I wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

Yelp
We got the tandoori chicken pizza and chicken el jefe. Pretty flavorful with a nice little kick of spicy but the portion is quite small for the price. This place is NOT disabled friendly. If you have mobility aid or big stroller, You will not be able to fit inside the seating area of the restaurant well. The tables and seats are not meant for people with wheelchairs. The restroom and hallway were also blocked with tight spaces and chairs, which made it very unlikely for people to be able to get to the restroom.

Yelp
We didn't expect much being that it is a fast casual spot at the mall however we were so pleasantly surprised! The service especially was so friendly, the person who helped us was so incredibly kind he offered to let us try several different menu items to ensure we'd like what we ordered. The food was flavorful and the portion was pretty generous. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
Irvine Spectrum Center next to the play structure. Service was fast and friendly. Very clean and bright store. The chicken tikka masala was a mild level of spice. Food was good.

Yelp
Finally had a chance to try 75% of what I wanted to from this menu. So many all looked great but even one burrito will send me into a food coma before I even finish half this massive log. But damn is it good! Curry Up is dependable, jumbo and fast. Everything on the menu came without any disappointment, if you love rice and paneer, you can't go wrong! Not to mention how well the burritos reheat. Nothing fancy but I applaud the accessibility. Doing a group order on separate phones has never been easier with Curry Up. Good job guys!

Yelp
I've been seeing ads popping up all over my feed for awhile now and I finally tried it out today. We did take out since we're working from home and DoorDash had a bogo deal on their burrito combo meal. I've only ever ate Indian food at a sit down restaurant so a place serving Indian food in smaller on the go portion like burritos and bowls is a great idea. Punjabi by Nature Burrito Combo: Burrito with Chicken Tikka Masala, Turmeric & Fenugreek Scented Basmati Rice and flour tortilla (wheat was an option as well). It also comes with a samosa w/ the sauces and a cookie. - Presentation: the burrito was tightly double wrapped, when I got my order delivered it was still warm. Each combo was packed in the box and everything inside the to go box. - Burrito: The portion of the burrito is definitely chipotle sized burrito, packed with rice and meat. I was truly surprised how much flavor everything inside the burrito had. You can taste all the different spices and smell the aroma, i was blown away. Chicken was tender and not dry at all, everything kinda just melts in your mouth with every bite. - Samosa: Perfect size, not too small and not too big, great with the combo. I love that they didn't skimp out and make it tiny because it's part of a "combo." The samosa itself was packed with potatoes, very lightly wrapped and crusted perfectly. The sauces they gave were just enough to put on the samosa where you didn't need more. I look forward to trying other items on the menu because the to go portion I tried today really exceeded expectation.

Yelp
10/31/2024 - Thursday Late Dinner!!! Pretty empty inside. Says it is Halal!!! Ordered: Sexy Fries(Regular Fries, added Chicken) $15 Anyways, disappointed! Too pricey and I am very sorry if it's too mean but every time I go to an Indian food place they don't know how to cook their meat especially chicken, it was not cooked well, half way was still raw, the portion is so small like are you guys serious this looked more like an appetizer to me, should not be $15, taste was meh. Won't be coming back again!!! It also came with free chai when ordered an entree, served cold and literally was watered down was not chai at all sort of looked like dirt water. Not a nice experience at all! Cannot suggest this place to anyone, unfortunately.

Yelp
Made another visit here to try their chicken tikka masala burrito, but the server said it was pretty spicy, so they recommended I try it with butter chicken instead. It was still pretty spicy for someone like me with a low tolerance, but it was probably just right and I'm glad I took the rec! The chicken was tender and juicy, and the sauce was rich in flavor - would definitely recommend.

Yelp
Walking around at the Irvine Spectrum there are around sixty different eateries with a wide variety ranging from larger chain franchises to independent and from upscale to everyday food. But for something as a change of pace Curry Up Now offers a fusion alternative. Starting off as a food truck in Northern California they offer such items as burritos with indian cuisine contents. For instance the "Punjabi By Nature" offers seasoned chicken with saag paneer, onions, rice, and chana masala is a comforting blend of spice, protein, carb, dairy, and vegetable. It's a good combination of everything you enjoy in Indian cuisine with a California twist wrapping it all up in a tidy package. The service is prompt and efficient. The price point is a little on the higher side but it is still a filling menu that leaves you feeling satisfied.

Yelp

Yelp
Curry up Now offers casual Indian street food. It's located in between Black Dot Coffee and Falasophy. There's indoor and outdoor seating, with a bathroom located in the back. My friend and I chose to sit outside. The workers were friendly, and bought our food out to the table. My friend and I might have gone overboard with ordering. We ordered the bhel puri, which is a popular Indian street food made of puff rice. This was my first time trying this, and I'm in love! The bhel puri had so many flavors and textures, ranging from crunchy, crispy, tangy, and sweet. I couldn't get enough of this tasty snack. It helped balance out the other dishes, when we wanted to refresh our palette. We also ordered the custom thali, which had saag paneer, butter chicken, and chicken tikka masala . I enjoyed the subtle flavor of the butter chicken. To me, the chicken tikka masala tasted a bit like bbq chicken? The tumeric rice was a bit dry. The saag paneer was ok. The kulcha naan went well with the sauces. It was a bit too much food for two girls. I did enjoy most of the food, and I would come back to try other dishes.

Yelp
I got the lamb burrito, the flavor was delicious but I might be bias cause I love Indian food I would give it 5 but it wasn't enough lamb! I think we I got the bowl I would get more meat... delicious flavor!

Yelp
This review is so overdue that I don't even remember anything about it besides the poor customer service. The food was just okay. There are definitely better places around!
google avatar

Lynn T.

Yelp
I've had curry up now three times and it's pretty delicious. We love the bhel puri. The dal is pretty good too. The last time we had the saag paneer it was extremely bitter and almost inedible.... Not sure what was up with that so I took away one star.

Yelp
We got the Create Your Own Custom Thali Platter with Lamb keema, butter chicken and chana garbanzo masala which was of great value. The lamb keema and butter chicken was delicious! The tikka masala bowl was delicious as well! Chicken was flavorful and lentils were good! Overall temperature of the food could have been hotter but maybe we went right went they opened. Service was quick and we sat outside which was nice. Definitely return! All the foods were very flavorful!

Yelp
This is a great Indian spot at the Spectrum! I love that you can get fusion items like the chicken tikka masala burrito and also a curry pizza! This place is tucked away near the Target but it's so cute! The service was great and they made mine extra spicy because I like it Indian hot! I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Omg!! My new go-to spot for Indian food. The food was amazing, so much flavor, and it's super close if you go to UCI or CSUF. My favorite was the mango lassi and the tandoori fried chicken sandwich. Everyone was super nice and the place was super cute and clean. Really fast service as well!

Yelp
Curry Up Now is a fusion Indian Chinese restaurant in Irvine Spectrum. The service was very friendly as they gave me suggestions and samples! The atmosphere was fun and lively as everyone seemed like they were having a fun time. So as I sat down to eat, I was excited to see if the food matched the rest of my experience. And I can confidently say that it did! The food was very flavorful and had a great hint of spice. Not only that, but with such a big portion, the value was amazing!

Yelp
Went in to try the croissant dabeli special advertised on their instagram account (screenshot of post on the right). What was served is the picture on the left. Quite disappointing.

Yelp
Thought this was place was pretty dang good. The flavor profiles were rich and even for a takeout experience I was so surprised I'm giving full 5/5. They went very generous on portion sizes and overall loved the curry and samosas. Need to come back

Yelp
In a busy mall in a park, this is a good restaurant for quick finger foods. We got their tikka masala burriot with paneer, every bite was lovely. We tried their vada pav too, and it was quite nice and spicy. Keep in mind they give fryiums with almost all items so keep it in mind when ordering. We ordered the cheese quesadilla for the kids and the portions were huge. Overall great place, slightly on the expensive side for a quick bite place but definitely worth trying.

Yelp
Unfortunately, there was a large piece of sharp plastic in one of the curries I order for takeout tonight. It ended up cutting the inside of my mouth. I wasn't expecting pain or blood to be a part of my dinner today :( I understand accidents can happen, but I'm genuinely curious to know how or why this piece of plastic ended up inside of my food. I've gotten takeout twice. Both times the service has been great. The staff is very helpful, patient and informative which I really appreciate. The food is good, no complaints. I love that they offer a cauliflower rice option. Tonight, we ordered approximately $60 worth of takeout which included: - Tikka Masala Bowl with Cauliflower Rice and Chana Masala - Thali with Lamb Keema, Makhni Butter Chicken, Saag Paneer, Cauliflower Rice & Kulcha Naan - Mini Samosas - Burnt Garlic Chili Kulcha Naan Again, everything was good. Their curries have much more depth of flavor than Natraj's Tandoori which I just tried last week. The Mini Samosas are tasty and have a good kick, but the amount of filling between each samosa varied drastically. If you care more for the fried outside of samosas rather than the inside, you'll love them. The Chana Masala was surprisingly watery and bland, but I'd try it again because it seemed like an anomaly compared to everything else. I'll be impressed if someone reaches out to me about the plastic in my food as a response would go a long way.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Curry Up for a while now and finally got the chance to sit down and grab dinner with a friend there. It is located right next to Black Dot Coffee in the Irvine Spectrum Center, has a small dining area and patio area. Upon walking in, there is a self order iPad to your left however it was locked and required a pin so we opted to walk up to the counter. The staff was friendly and polite, the interior was clean, colorful and well air conditioned on a hot summer night. I ordered the fried chicken (as I am a self proclaimed fried chicken connoisseur) and was really excited to see how the spices would come through within the fried chicken. It's also offered in a cauliflower option and was $12. Upon first impression, there was a lot more coating than chicken on most pieces, and the majority of the pieces were over fried and burnt. Any other time I would have asked them to remake my order but, the employee that took our order at the counter was sitting at a nearby table crying... and I know how to read a room... so I proceeded to eat my dish and even with the burnt aspect, I have to admit the flavor profile was great. Not spicy and with good deep flavor. It was garnished with a few slivers of red onion and a lemon wedge. Overall, it was a decent meal, and I will definitely be back to try some other items! If you're in the spectrum getting some shopping done and have a hankering for Indian food, give them a try.

Yelp
Quick service and filling! Good spot with indoor and outdoor seating for groups. Pretty quiet in and out of the day during the weekday. Got the keto bowl and it was delicious! First time trying cauliflower rice and it was super yummy mixed with the greens and the curries + saag.

Yelp
I heard good things about this place from a friend. I came for a quick dinner and experienced good things for myself. We had great service from May, working the counter. The manger came around and checked on the guests during our short visit. Megan did a great job providing helpful recommendations from the menu. The food is great! We've been here twice in the last 3 weeks. The food and service has been excellent both times . This place is on my short list!

Yelp
Wanted a light dinner with fam earlier at the Spectrum. Decided to eat at Curry Up Now. We shared the Punjabi 69 chicken, sweet potato fries and butter naan. Everything was really good and filling. Also really good service from May and Daniel. Love how friendly and helpful the staff are!

Yelp
I LOVE THIS PLACE WITH MY WHOLE HEART AND SOUL!!!!!! let me tell you a story. The year: 2020. Me, humble writer: entrenched in the deepest state of lockdown with only my dogs and my neighbor to keep my company. Irvine Spectrum: somewhat sorta open, but worth driving to just for a sliver of human interaction and the opportunity to move my mummifying limbs. Curry up now: open. Warm. Welcoming. Makers of a delicious plate of Indian food. Kept my belly full and my heart happy and made my weekly mecca to the spec all that much more enjoyable. Then, BOOM! Covid positive. I lose my sense of taste and smell. It's the worst ever. I keep up a notes list of all the foods I will never take for granted ever again once I can taste them again, if ever. However, I still pledge my full allegiance to Curry up now and frequently get their food to go. Fast forward two months, I get a chicken tikka masala burrito and bring it home, set it on my counter, and run to my room to grab something. When I return to the kitchen and open my bag of food, I am hit instantly with the fruitful, delectable smell of cumin, pepper, garlic, a bunch of other spices I don't know the name of, and surely a sprinkle or two of fairy dust. My eyes well with the heavy emotion of my first smell in many moons, and at the hands of this bejeweled restaurant, no less! I scarf down my burrito with the vigor and speed of a thousand hungry hippos. FAST FORWARD! The year: 2023. Me: living out of state now, returned to Irvine and thus the spectrum for the holidays and to once again defrost my mummified limbs. I stroll into this dear establishment and am met with the warm kindness of the lovely employee May. Here is a list of all the reasons May is the best employee to ever walk this Earth: 1) she picked out a menu option based on my taste preferences, and came over after the food came out to make sure it was to my liking (the answer was yes all the way!) 2) she was personable, sweet, and thoughtful to every customer I saw her interact with 3) she made a Hamilton reference 4) she made a point to ask each customer she served how they were, and further inquired about the customers' well being and how she may be of further assistance But the biggest thing was that after we struck up a conversation about how delish the chickpea side dish she chose for me was, I told her my Indian burrito reviving my taste story and she was so excited she went to the back to tell her boss, then came back out with a gift card thanking me for my loyalty as a customer! Come to Curry up now for the food, yes, but also for the vibes and the love and the guarantee of good service. But even if you are on the go, like I was in deep lockdown 2020, the food is so good it is worth the trip out of your fortress to go get. Currently sketching out my "I heart Curry Up Now" forehead tattoo- I'm just stuck between Garamond and Arial Narrow. So excited for the opening of 60 new locations across Europe! This is a great restaurant and I am so happy to see them grow.

Yelp
I loved the concept of the restaurant and I believe it has a lot of potential! They have really unique items like tikka masala burrito or tandoori fried chicken sandwich. However, we thought the food lacked flavor. The Tikka Masala burrito was unfortunately 80% rice and 20% meat. I think if they added more curry and maybe some vegetables it would taste really great. Also, the tandoori fried chicken was perfectly fried, but just missing some flavor and other food components. The service was great and they have indoor and outdoor seating. I'm not sure I would come back but I can see how it could be great.

Yelp
Last night I accidentally ran into this place. Great little spot at Spectrum. One thing about this place I notice most staff non Indian, which means not family run... Also it's spectrum so it caters to general population than enthused enclave. The cashier was a fancy British or Australian guy with amazing service skills, who is actually a Angelino Chicano. He was good with service, which was part of the five star experience. We got the thali which had few samples and the masala tea. Great flavor and aroma and taste. I like the butter masala chicken It was a experience of the grand taste bud explosion. From butter chicken to garbanzo to tofu all MacLaine with yellow rice and naan and samosa. Hope the owner opens more locations to take over OC and kick but with non spicy spots

Yelp
Of all the places we ate during our trip to Irvine, this place has the most "mixed feelings" from our group. We all love Indian food of all kinds. And the food was beautifully presented especially for something that is essentially fast-food-adjacent. My husband enjoyed his deconstructed samosa and our daughter liked her tikka masala bowl -- for both of them it was just what they were expecting (if you're familiar with samosas, or chicken tikka masala, you won't be surprised and you'll probably be happy). But then, my keto bowl was really horrible. I barely could eat any of it, although I ate a few bites of the chicken and paneer. What was wrong with the keto bowl? It looked pretty on the plate, but it was so bland. The foods were already a bit on the bland side for Indian food (and maybe that has to do with ... it's in a large shopping mall and it has to please a lot of people?) but then the keto cauli rice was so bland it made everything else taste even worse. The people who worked there were nice (you order at the counter-- it's like ordering from a mall food court, sort of) and then they bring it out to you when it's ready. There was very little seating and we ended up outside crowded at a table for two. They could definitely use a bit more seating considering how crowded they seem to be. But.. I didn't see any way for them to expand. Maybe that's an "Irvine Spectrum problem" and not this business's problem, but I'm guessing it drives some business away if people see there's nowhere to sit. So if you're in the Irvine Spectrum and you _must_ eat Indian food, if you avoid the keto bowl you should be OK? But... I probably wouldn't come back here to try again: I left hungry and disappointed.

Yelp
This was a great fast casual Indian street food chain restaurant in the heart of Irvine Spectrum! They have an extremely legible and fun menu with interesting items that are clearly labeled vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free. All their meat is halal as well! I think it's wonderful how they put a twist on beloved Indian dishes while making them more accessible to people of all cultures. My friend and I shared the Deconstructed Samosa for $12 which was a tasty and satisfying deal: an inside-out phenomenon indeed! The 4 mini samosas on top were flaky and filled to the brim with mildly spiced curried potatoes. The base was a crispy fried shell topped with chana (chickpeas), pico kachumber (a salad of chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, fruit, and very spicy chili peppers), and chutneys. The flavors were the right balance of rich and spiced and we definitely could have gone for another. It was perfectly satisfying even without additions (chicken, paneer, aloo gobi or lamb). I'm excited to return to try their Vada Pav, Naughty Naan and thali! Curry up to try them too!

Yelp
Decided to check out this restaurant one evening after Christmas shopping. The reviews on Yelp convinced me to try it out. On the plus side, liked the interiors, the decor and the interesting menu and variety. The food was hit and miss. Loved the star shaped poppadoms and the bourbon biscuits! Very cute touch! Tried the pain Puri which tasted good but was so bizarre to eat with a spork!! It was near impossible and I ended up having to pour the sauce in to the Puri. Asked for a spoon which they didn't have! Spice level is up there - my kids struggled to eat the food. The dessert Gulab jamun was perfect if you don't like them drenched in syrup. You pay at the counter and the food is delivered to your table. Pretty pricey.

Yelp
The menu offered a wide variety of classic street food options, and I was excited to try several dishes. However, not all dishes lived up to expectations. Service was a mixed experience as well. This food spot has potential and a few standout dishes make it worth a visit, but there is room for improvement.

Yelp
Curry Up Now does well as a fast-casual Indian street food joint. The modern twist on traditional dishes makes them unique and fun. This location is nestled inside the Irvine Spectrum so there is plenty of parking around the perimeter of the Spectrum. The restaurant is fast-casual in that you order at the counter, self-seat, and wait patiently until your food is ready. I tried the chicken tikka burrito and the chicken tikka and saag paneer bowl and both were delicious! The flavors were on point and the spice levels were good. The entree portions are decent in size so be prepared to leave with a full belly. I am interested in trying some of their street food snacks. Next time! Thanks for the yummy meal Curry Up Now!

Yelp
Ordered from this shop thru Uber Eats. Price was good because of a Specials. The box the food came in said Indian Street Food. Portion is on the small size for dinner. Flavor is good. Not too spicy. We ordered Butter chicken with rice and Chana daal. May order it again for lunch if there is special again. $20 for this box is a bit pricey.

Yelp
The Keto bowl was a huge flop:(( i tried my best to like it but the cauliflower rice tasted rotten and like stinky feet. I've tried many Indian dishes and I've never tasted something like this. It was quite awful. I couldn't finish it and had to purchase another naan. The naan was good tho. Service was friendly.

Yelp
Food flavor was on point, fast casual Indian dining done right. This plate was enough for two people to share, plus we got to sample all of the meats. I would definitely order this again. Service was as expected, nothing special. Bathrooms were pretty dirty.

Yelp
Tried Curry Up Now at the Irvine Spectrum for the first time last night & I was impressed! My eyes immediately went to the samosa chaat; I love samosas & I love chaat so of course I'll try that. Super tasty!!! We also shared the sexy fries and that was definitely the best dish! My sister had a thali and it came with naan. Not too impressed with the naan. But she likes her sides. Also tried the cauliflower rice with paneer & that was good. By far sexy fries was excellent! I did ask the cashier and the other gal working if a dish was good and they said they never tried it. If I worked at a restaurant I'd try everything so I can answer customers' questions. But that's just me. Unless they aren't able to eat it. Not much places to sit; kinda small but it's supposed to be like a small restaurant. Loved the paining inside which featured logos from the Dodgers, LA Chargers, Rams, Lakers, Angels and even UC Irvine anteaters! I'm definitely returning to try their burrito and khati roll!

Yelp
I had such great service here that I hate leaving a bad review. The person who took my order was super friendly and attentive to there being no butter on my Naan when I ordered a Hella Vegan Bowl. But clearly , something went bad in the kitchen. I ate half the order in the restaurant and wasn't paying much attention to what was in it, as I was with my friend and we were talking a lot, but I didn't feel great later. When I went to eat the leftovers the next day, I found out why - there were chunks of chicken in it!! Why? It was a vegan bowl made of a deconstructed samosa. Why was there chicken added? And it was not vegan chicken. It was real. Bummer because I've always liked this place. Talk to your kitchen staff, please because I'm sure you can do better.

Yelp
Love this restaurant not just the great food, but the experience the employees provide! I came here with my family and right away they noticed that it was our first time and explained us the menu very well. They check up on us while and when we were walking out to ask us how was the food, food here is 10 but the experience here was outstanding.

Yelp
The worst Indian food I've ever eaten. Apart from the mini samosas (which are honestly mid) everything else I tried from here just tasted horrible. It's like they all got together and worked on the branding and menu names first, instead of the actual eff'in recipes. Here are some of their low-lights: 1. Turmeric is a basic Indian ingredient - like every Indian kitchen has it and and uses it in 90% of the dishes. And step one to bloom/fry it in oil to cook off the raw turmeric taste. I swear these people, sprinkle it over rice when it's done. (This was the case two different times) 2. Pani Poori is one of my favorite foods, but what they serve here tasted and smelled so bad (due to wrong combination of spices, not because it went bad) I had to put it in the outside trash after two bites. 3. The Pani Puri stuffing was so badly seasoned it was like it was made in a gulag. Just an ugly grey salad of of sad chickpeas and suicidal potatoes. 4. The undercooked chapatis. I tried this place twice, and got existential dread after the second time. Please shut this place down and do something else with your lives.

Yelp
Loved it! I had the butter chicken burrito and husband had a platter with three main choices. We also had samosas. I fully expected it to taste like fast food and it didn't. My husband's was too spicy for him but I'm not sure if they can dial it down. Their employee, Larissa, was so knowledgeable about the food and really believed in the product they are serving and the company. My husband and I wouldn't mind her on our team. It's very rare to find an engaging employee anymore. She didn't intrude, she helped us with the menu and kindly talked with us when we asked her some questions later. Oh, and the portions are huge. We had the leftovers for lunch and dinner today. We'll be back.

Yelp
Came here on a weeknight and wanted to grab some udon but it was closed. Decided on Spectrum because it had a lot of food options. I've been to Curry Up Now in Northern California and never had a bad experience. When I came in here the lady straight up ignored me. By the time I got her attention, she barely wanted to give me the time of day. I asked a few questions to clarify what I could choose and she just wasn't having it. I ended up going with the Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken Burrito. The food ended up tasting pretty average and the portion was not large at all, especially for the price you're paying. Overall, rude service, average food, pricier as an option. Won't be coming back here again.

Yelp
Chicken tikka masala burrito was perfect. Would like a little bit more chicken inside but it was very tasty.
