Curry's Artists' Materials - Queen West

Very big location with a huge selection of products, including some things I've never seen at other Currys. Staff are friendly and helpful and overall a good place to visit if you need supplies, I didn't buy anything did they have a certain type of oil colors, but I'll definitely be visiting this great place again.!

Probably the best customer service I’ve gotten in a while! Adam was super helpful over the phone trying to choose the best products for what I was trying to achieve. He stayed on the phone for what must have been a good 15 minutes giving me suggestions and working with me to check them myself online as well. They had a sale on some stuff so I got a good deal and Adam was nice to pack me some free samples. Definitely coming back!

They provide an hour of free parking there if you are a consumer. Tonnes of art supplies there including numerous paint, brushes, special paper and canvas, tonnes of markers, etc. Really good quality, however, super pricey.

Positive shopping experience here. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. Most art supplies can readily be found at this location as its deceptively large inside. Sometimes you might find things for better prices elsewhere but the convenience of having them in the neighbourhood trumps that.

My happy place! Lol 😆 Truthfully though the staff were so friendly almost like catching up with an old friend and no time had passed LOL except I hadn't ever met them before that day!

I've loved Curry's for years! Helpful, knowledgeable staff, great selection, everything for many different artists. So it's sad to watch it's slow demise. I've visited half a dozen different stores in the last while and always come away disappointed. They never have stock in anything I'm looking for. I don't believe it's a supply issue, I can get the supplies elsewhere easily. I've stopped bothering to shop there. Perhaps that's the reason for many, as I've seen a few locations close in the last year or so. I'll be veeriy sad to see it disappear 😥 but I hope they can turn it around.

My all-time favourite art supply store for SO many reasons. Their staff are extremely knowledgeable and have never failed at answering one of my many questions. I love the quality of their product selection, and their prices are great for most things. I can't wait to come back and shop in person now that the pandemic is coming to a close!

I absolutely LOVE this store. I have been here a rew times and even did a workshop for fabric paints! It was a lot of fun, there was even a small bag of freebies they gave to everyone and they held a raffle to top it all off! My son actually won one of the prizes! It was only about ten bucks to participate and the person who came to teach the workshop touched on everything his company sold which was a range of supplies from the paint I mentioned above, to alcohol markers, and even watercolours. Or did I go to two different workshops. That could have been the case, either way they are so much fun it all kinda melded together. On top of having awesome workshops at a decent price, the staff there, at least when I went 2 years ago, are/were so fun and so kind! They were even very helpful when I had a nearly impossible paper related question. I absolutely recommend this store. I do suggest checking their website first just to make sure they have what you're looking for, if looking to restock or get into anything specific, but it's an amazing place to lose yourself in the beautiful colours that are an art store!
