"Family owned and run, Cush is a cosy, traditional pub with a smart, modern restaurant, comfy bedrooms and views out over the rooftops to the fishing boats in the harbour. Local produce features in hearty dishes, with seafood naturally to the fore, and guests are well looked after by the friendly team. A set menu is available in the pub area, with an à la carte and tasting menu on offer in the restaurant." - Michelin Inspector

Exceptional experience. We had set menu early bird in the bar. Staff extremely welcoming, chatty and we felt so well looked after. Food was outstanding, innovative and super tasty. We sent spotless plates back after each course. We only booked on the day and I noted I was veggie. The chef had already figured what he was going to offer, before we got there, all off menu and divine. Added bonus was bar was covered in historical photos and memorabilia of the Ballycotton lifeboat, which was so interested to see. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We found this hotel with highly reviewed restaurant and felt so fortunate to have booked it. A small and personalized experience with amazing breakfasts and dinners that we completely loved every day of our stay. The views were phenomenal. The access to the cliff walk was perfect. We stayed in late October so the village was quiet. Which we loved. But if we can we’ll return when it’s warmer to soak up more of the Oceanside amenities. This is a special place run by fabulous people who care about making your stay special and memorable. It was all of that and more.

Brill stay in a picturesque area of Ballycotton, the cooking was exceptional with great choice on early bird at a price point that is unbeatable..dinning room over looking the pier makes it one of the nicest settings to dine and staff brilliant (big shout out to the young gentleman who served us, obviously only starting out but confident and friendly), only a small thing maybe sharing side dish of vegetables with the mains but really that’s just me been greedy 😂 we will be back !!

Fantastic views of the lighthouse, very customer focused staff, and incredible food. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. Location is perfect to access the Cliff Walk and has great views of the pier as well as the lighthouse and bay.

Terrible service and treat the customer very poorly. I made a reservation 2 months in advance for a special occasion only to receive an email last week saying my reservation is cancelled as the restaurant will be closed on the Saturday I’d booked. I replied to that email to complain that it is disappointing they let people book knowing it would be closed as it’s now going to be difficult to find somewhere else last minute and received no response since. They clearly do not care about their customers. I would be careful booking here as they are not reliable or honest in their bookings.

We had been waiting a long time to eat and stay in Cush after hearing raving reviews. We had such a wonderful time and they made our anniversary dinner truly special when I reached out and asked if I could surprise my husband with glasses of prosecco on arrival. The food was spectacular from start to finish and breakfast the next morning. The breakfast staff member was a bit inexperienced and it was a little hard to get service, but overall the entire experience did not disappoint! Thank you to Cush for giving us such a special weekend!

The level of service has certainly dropped from our previous visits over a year ago. The food is tasty, not exceptional and the lack of vegetarian options is an issue. Still good value for money but no longer an outstanding experience

Food was great, beautifully presented, maybe slightly over seasoned. (Too much salt) Waitress was top class. Restaurant is nicely decorated and there is also a bar in there. Lovely place for a walk afterwards if the weather is nice. Bit expensive but nice to treat yourself too sometimes. Menu was a bit limited but what was on it and what we had was very tasty.
