Well, Now We Know Who’s Definitely Not Taking Over the Iconic Cliff House Restaurant Space | Eater SF

"The real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield toured the former Cliff House space and submitted a bid on behalf of a client, but it also confirmed it is not opening a restaurant at that location." - Dianne de Guzman

I’ve reached out multiple times to different listing agents to inquire about available retail spaces, but unfortunately, I’ve never received a response. It’s been frustrating trying to get in touch with someone, especially when listings appear active and promising. As a small business owner looking to lease a commercial space, timely and clear communication is essential — and sadly, that’s been lacking here. I hope future inquiries are met with more responsiveness, as this could be a great opportunity for both parties.

I moved into an apartment managed by Cushman & Wakefield, there, are many hidden fee's that I was not notified about until after I signed the lease. Then later I find out, I am obligated to pay Garbage, Valet services, sewage, & water. paying these on a very complicated app, or dysfunctional web page; where one also needs to pay a service fee, to handle and use the monetary collection application. Along with those hidden expenses, of which the leasing agent never advised me of before hand, when finally, after signing the lease I questioned these, I was informed it was all in the lease. Yet note, that I was never shown, or given the lease until after I signed and payed the deposit. It is all so non transparent, yet also impossible to notify the upper management. There is no check and balance system, regarding bad behavior, from the small cliquey management team at this property. To get compliance and rectify this poor business practice to upper management, they don't seem to be available or accessible. Also rather daunting, where I'm told I owed back payments on some of these expenses, where they brought me into the office showing me the Excel spread sheet, where I was forced to pay back payment's, and the next month I was told we are going to need to audit your entire account again. And with There system using Yardi, again no one is available to discuss your bill with you! Unless you want to do constant financial acrobatics Avoid this company!!! The maintenance seems adequate, and these units show well, yet many instances of pipes breaking and water damage, so renters are forced to have renters insurance. They have many below market set asides, and low income units, which are difficult to get one, even if you may qualify those units, have very low turn over. Which is opposite for the more expensive units, which residence seem to move into and out of finding better deals without all the utility obligations. A renter having to pay sewage; Give Me a Break!!! Garbage collection; Renter pays for etc..,!

The City & County of San Francisco purchased my building. Cushman & Wakefield was contracted to manage the acquisition. The City & County of San Francisco declined to pay relocation. I am being intimidated out of my home through abuse of power.

I'm disappointed in this business. As I've worked valet for plenty of their employees and customers (Luxe) for months now. I've spoken to many employees there on a friendly basis. BUT once they sent out their security to tell me NOT TO LAY on their grass and scroll my phone while I wait for THEIR employees/customers though I've seen PLENTY if not DOZENS of people do it. I was over it. If they don't want it, label it but don't send your goons to me after smiling in my face. Cowards.
