Don’t really leave reviews but i was very satisfied with my experience today. The ice cream was amazing and customer service is good. It was very busy and the worker was very fast, friendly, and efficient. Id recommend this place not only for the delicious ice cream but also the good energy that welcomes you right at the door. We need more places like this these days.

Nice place if you’re in the area and want sub par ice cream. Service was great no complaints there. One of our ice creams had hair in the chocolate dip and had to get remade. The vegan chocolate has no flavor whatsoever and my nutty butty sundae was just generic. Was not impressed.

Order and ice cream cake for my dad's birthday yesterday, the cake was amazing!! So fresh everyone loves it. I highly recommend if you're looking for an ice cream cake for a party or an event. This is the place to go!

Came here for some ice cream with my family after a couple friend recommendations. Come to find this may be my last time at this establishment. My son got a scoop of ice cream the size of a golf ball, and that held true for nearly the rest of what we got. Found a hair in almost every bowl of ice cream. Not to mention the stanky looks from employees and mediocre service AT BEST. Not to mention the bathroom looked like it could’ve use some help, just an overall poor experience and will not be returning.

This place is a must when visiting the shore , we have been going for years and it never gets old. Ultimate trip down memory lane when walking through the shop, thankful it’s been around as long as it has. It’s hard to go wrong with anything you choose

Best milkshakes in town! Their prices have increased but understandable with the summer season and keeping up with staffing. Everyone is very nice and efficient with huge lines! Great atmosphere too!

We went before they closed. The staff was super friendly! I ordered a small cone with peach ice cream — it was delicious and had peach chunks in it. They gave me a bowl to put some of my ice cream in to make it easier to eat. The smalls are two very large scoops. Two people in my group ordered the key lime and it tasted just like key lime pie — in a cup filled flush with the top. Another ordered a small cone with s’mores and death by chocolate — I didn’t try the s’mores but the death by chocolate was really good. It had brownie chunks in it and the chocolate ice cream tasted like brownies imo.

I would like to say I am amazed by the quality of the ice cream and the customer service. I went there on Tuesday. The male worker was friendly, hardworking and more likely very fast paced. I watched him go extreme and beyond for other customers and myself as well. I like how this ice cream place gives you an option to have a cone as a side. My friend and I loved the ice cream. The customer service definite deserves a 5 star as well.

This review concerns the customer service. I had a problem with a credit charge when I used my card at Custards and asked their help. They spent 20 minutes going thru their records to help me out and took care of the problem by issuing a credit to my card. Wonderful people.

Found this place while searching for ice cream the other night. Glad we gave them a try. Everyone was craving soft serve. Custards seems to have an endless menu of flavors and different combinations. I went with the strawberry and vanilla swirl which was possibly some of the best ice cream I've ever had. We'll definitely be stopping by again when we're in town.

Our favorite spot! A new Juneteenth tradition welcoming summer! Season 2024...small sizes! Chocolate banana, chocolate peanut butter, rum raisin & butter pecan, yum!

Ice cream is the best! And served in huge portions. One star demotion bc they only take cash (no credit cards), yet they don't have an ATM for unknowing customers' convenience.

Long lines, but was it worth the hype? Mediocre at best. Pretzel ice cream was the best out of 4 flavors tried.

When I think of a classic down the shore ice-cream joint, this place is it. Line is out the door and families crowded around outside eating their share. If you do plan on coming here, definitely walk instead of drive. The parking lot is tiny and seemed like an absolute nightmare to get out of especially peak time after dinner. My husband and I got the soft serve twist of classic vanilla/chocolate and vanilla/orange. The orange tasted exactly like a creamsicle. Mine was creamy but not to heavy. I forgot to mention that this place is pet friendly! We brought our dog with us and he made some doggy friends. Was a great dessert after dinner!

Holds good memories and the employees are very sweet I recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere content

It was my first time at this place so as soon as I walked in the young lady didn't greet me right away. She looked at me weird. I didn't know what I wanted at first. Then I asked her what chocolate ice cream you have with peanuts so she started naming flavors. I ordered the chocolate banana that she mentioned and there were no peanuts. Never will I return there again

I was in town for the weekend and was really craving for some cold dessert and came upon this. It is a small and unique ice cream place. There is some indoor seatings and outdoor seatings. I went to this place twice within the same day. I went after an afternoon at the beach which was around 4 or 5 and it wasn't crowded or anything. Then I went again at like 8ish and it was packed. The line was out the door but it moved fairly quickly. I tried the water ice and it was super refreshing for a hot day. I felt like it was helping me cool down my body in the heat. I had the orange cream and mango. The orange cream was amazing and the mango was okay. My bf enjoyed his ice cream as well. Their soft serve tasted great as well. Def a place to visit when you are at Ventnor city

If you like or have been spoiled by excellent ice cream such as gelato, steer clear of this place. Very mediocre.

Custard's Last Stand makes me reminisce about my childhood. I remember long summer days spent at the beach. Then, we'd shower and eat dinner and go to Custard's for refreshing water ice- the perfect treat after a full day of sun. I personally love the mango water ice, but there are just so many flavors to choose from. I forget what they're called, I think they might be flurricanes, but they're also amazing too. Kind of like blizzards from Dairy Queen but better. You choose an ice cream and get it mixed with some yummy toppings. I like to do Kit Kat's in mine and a chocolate ice cream base! It's a great spot and you can also get like really big containers (almost like buckets!) of water ice.

heard this place was supposed to close after last season & i'm so happy it didn't! i'm a ventnor local & this is still my fav ice cream spot to go to. worth the wait if the line is long (it moves quickly though) or you can order ahead & pic it up at the window (been loving that option since last summer). Their staff is ALWAYS friendly, patient & helpful & it's super clean & bright inside! Glad yas stuck around Custards!

I ordered a regular chocolate milkshake and threw it out when I left because it was so bad. It tasted like melted chocolate syrup mixed with ice or melted soft serve ice cream with chocolate syrup. Overall the worst milkshake I've ever had. Although my boyfriend got orange cream water ice and it was really good!

I love ice cream! I stopped In on a Saturday evening. It was definitely crowed but it wasn't overwhelming. They even have a kiosk you can order from. I elected not to because I wanted to see the inside. U could understand the convenience if I was a regular. Inside is the line to order ice cream and a small section where people could it inside. The line was a little hectic with the amount on younger kids getting ice cream but I expected that Due to it being Saturday. Choices and more choices. I never saw so many flavors. I decided on a birthday cake milkshake . I love when places let you use hard serve for the milkshakes. The milk shake was nice and creamy. I was shocked when I realized they used cardboard straws opposed to plastic. It was a different experience. Not bad, just different. I'm not such how I feel about it, I'm all for helping the environment but it still takes some getting used too. Also too, there is parking! Which is a major plus for a beach town which normally requires street parking. I would love to return and try some other items/flavors.

The homemade water ice is REALLY good! We are there every weekend in the summer with the kids.

The prices are okay for what you get but the custards aren't really anything special. The worst part of my experience was the extremely rude female worker who thought it was appropriate to make condescending remarks right in front of me as if I wasn't there. She shouldn't be working there if she can't hold her attitude back, as this job is all about customer service.

The soft custard here is better than any of its local competitors and the portions and prices are much more generous. This is a winning, 5 star combination. The servers behind the counter are smiling and friendly and eager to wait on you. My dining partner is not a frozen custard fan but loves their water ice. I suspect that there is a secret process in how they make the custard that out performs all the rest. I keep going back - fortunately it is a 1.5 mile walk from my house to Custard's so I can work off some of the calories. It's a nice walk over the Dorset avenue bridge, especially at sunset.

They have nondairy options!!! delicious ice cream and friendly staff. Definitely going back.

Best water ice and custard shop in the Area. They also have homemade waffles. They are usually open a little late. Portions are large. My favorite is the mango gelati .

This place has anything you could possibly want. They have frozen yogurt, regular soft serve, Richmond's hard ice cream, chocolate covered frozen bananas, purée frozen fruit, soft pretzels, water ice, ice cream cakes and more. Everything I have had there so far has been great! I had ordered a 9" round birthday cake from there which was delicious and very fresh. They used soft serve vanilla And chocolate with crushed Oreo in between and a whipped cream on top. They also decorated the cake nicely!

The girl Soondus is the best ice cream server. I come here just for her service.! Make her employee of the year! GOOO SOONDUS

Went there yesterday, early evening, and it was great! Reasonable prices, awesome service, and delicious product. The girl that helped us was super patient with me and my 3 1/2 year old... Very much appreciated! Will definitely go back.

I'm from Maryland, so have never been here before. Here's some key points: Amazing food and selection Great customer service HUGE serving sizes "get a kids size!" Clean facility Homemade products Vegan options Easy parking We went both of the two days we were in Atlantic City. Both times the line was extremely long, but the employees worked very well under the pressure and were patient and helpful in helping us choose what we wanted. Very large selection. I enjoyed their soft serve and their birthday cake ice cream. My husband loved the homemade waffle cones. Thank you for a great frozen treat!

Best ice cream in Ventnor!!!! Amazing custard, ice cream, etc. Large sizes. A kiddie is huge to me. Not expensive, good prices. Will always come here!

Ive always loved coming here with my family, but my most recent encounter was awful. Ice cream was supreme as always, but one of the workers gave me and my hubby such an attitude! She was very rude and took forever preparing our ice cream, and I noticed she treated the other girls working alongside her with distain. She was a tall blonde with south shore lacrosse shorts, but unfortunately I did not get her name. Hope I don't have her again!!!

Great variety of ice creams and treats. Always so good no matter what you order. I would suggest, getting there before peek hours if you don't want to wait in the long line. Worth it if you don't mind the wait!!

Pretty good ice cream. I had banana chocolate in a waffle cone (I don't think I'd had banana chocolate ice cream before) and it was not bad. The only reason it's 4 points and not 5 is that the taste of this ice cream got sort of boring, overwhelming towards the end, and it was a regular portion. I never get that feeling with frozen custard, for example, partly because it's less sugary than regular ice cream. Added bonus, all personnel there were strikingly beautiful young women, in their early twenties, definitely lights the place up.

Size alert. Kiddie size is half a tub. These guys are not messing around. I am not a little guy and I could only eat half my "medium" sundae. The waffles is what we came for, and while they were acceptable, they won't be the reason I go back. Had the waffles been a home run, this would have been upgraded to a 5 no doubt!

They only make a few of their water ice in house and all of their ice cream is shipped in, not homemade. Really disappointing. I was surprised when this was rated so highly. It was our reason we wanted to try, but alas, it definitely fell short.

Moose tracks is the best! They do not skimp on sizes. Very generous! The kiddie size is good enough for one person.

Always a treat down the shore. The kids sizes are difficult to finish. Great fresh ice cream soft serve and scoops. A+

Kid's Coconut ice cream is enough for 2. And so delicious! Beautiful facilities & very clean bathroom. Staff so accommodating. Let me try at least 20 flavors.

Amazing food my favorite is a blue raspberry gelati. There's always a line but service is great!

A little pricey but all good stuff and a great variety to choose from. The line gets very big sometimes but they are able to keep it moving. Recommend the ice cream in moose tracks and chocolate banana

Great service. This place is always bumpin. The ice cream/water ice selections are great. The staff is friendly and fast. They work hard! The parking lot can get a little dicey at times but they have added pre ordering and overflow parking across the street when it's a busy time. It's a cute, clean shop. Stop by when you're in ventnor! You won't be disappointed.

coconut water ice was excellent. huge line. employees are very friendly young ladies. service with a smile. but I was like "where is the custard"? I used to live in Las Cruces, New Mexico and out there in the desert we had custard stands selling a large selection of flavors of amazingly delicious frozen custard. Vanilla Soft serve is not custard, folks!!! authentic frozen Custard is wonderful stuff, and not sold here despite the name of the place, maybe you have to visit the New Mexico desert to get real frozen custard, I dunno.. didn't try the ice cream yet..

I was going to give it 5 stars.. and then i was like... why?!? It is what it is. It's ice cream. Good ice cream... but when is it really bad? It's pricey and always a mob scene. The sizes are pretty good, but for the price they had better be! We'll still go back every summer, but that's because we live around the corner in the summer. Don't BOTHER parking there, it's a scene man.

Ooops sorry, but I have to say it. Owner should put a smile on for the customers, if he doesn't like to serve then get your employees to come in earlier. The employees are nice. Ice cream is good and so is the water ice.

I have actually never been on location at Custard's Last Stand, but all I know is they make a mean ice cream cake. You have to order a day or two in advance for a custom cake, but they were very accommodating regarding personalization.

The best on the island. No comparison when it comes to store made water ice. Trust me.
