We stayed here for one night. Wished we stayed here longer for our LA trip! $35 valet per night is NOT bad, especially since you can drive in and out whenever you'd like to, it beats trying to find parking else where. As of Nov 17, 2019, the building was still in construction. The employees were VERY nice and very helpful. It was very easy to find where we needed to go inside the building. Our room was clean, tidy and looked very modern. The bathroom was super clean and everything worked as it should. Our one bed was excellent! We had a great night. No bugs, no annoying little things. I would suggest staying here if you're in LA. Its VERY close to beaches and LAX is literally a 10 min drive.

This hotel is not the greatest. Rooms so so but clean and bed was comfortable and water pressure on shower was super. Public restrooms were nasty and hallway on my floor smelled like urine! But overall it's a good buy given area and price. It's kinda noisy with a younger clientele so be warned. Customer service was fantastic though. Everyone very nice and accommodating. They did have outdoor bar at pool with happy hour and DJ which is cool. Drinks and apps were good. And they do have free shuttle service to and from airport.

Very modern rooms, newly renovated. However there is quite a bit of construction going on throughout the hotel, pool is not yet open and there is a $35 valet fee for parking, no parking lot. The hotel did inform me of several areas where we could street park but this is very limited. Overall we had a good stay, very comfortable beds. Also had complimentary snacks/beverages. I'd stay here again

Everything about this hotel was first rate. I stayed here on business with my husband and my service dog and they were absolutely wonderful about it. The hotel was very comfortable, within walking distance to a few local hot spots, and attentive to our needs. Housekeeping was thorough and efficient, their presence very much felt although never seen or heard. The entire staff seemed to be made up of ninjas who appeared as soon as your back was turned to refill your water, make your bed and bring you fresh towels before you turned back. We hope to return and would highly recommend to others.

We were in California for 11 days and stayed in 6 different hotels. I thought I’d pay a bit extra on our last day for nice hotel close to the airport. Unfortunately this hotel was not only the most I paid for a night stay but it as also the worst. The lobby matches the nice pictures on their hotels.ca profile but the elevators, hallways and our room was very run down. The sink faucet sprayed water in different directions, if you turn on more water flow it made a huge vibration sound. Lighting was very poor in the room and washroom. The toilet was hard to flush and the room was noisy (poor windows?). There were paint chips and worn down walls. Small room lack of furniture. I very much regret booking this hotel.

Besides being under some slight renovations. This place Had been absolutely awesome. The breakfast Saturday morning was delicious and the staff was so friendly. Jason at the front desk check is incredibly polite. He makes you feel very welcome. All the parking staff were very accommodating as well as I had a unique request for my vehicle. The room I stayed in was so clean. The area is fantastic. I would 100% recommend staying here! Brandi White Winnipeg, Manitoba CA

Google
Definitely a place for the younger generation. You get a mini fridge with gummies and energy drinks. We were traveling with a child and found this place to definitely not be worth the price. Very expensive for a musty smelling room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. However they are doing construction all over the place. The entrance is practically hidden and the front desk was a mess. Doors falling off in the masking taped hallway to the dirty elevators to the rooms. When we were leaving there was a bloody tissue on the ground! You get a comfy bed and a nice breakfast if you pay for it however the pricing for what you get is way too much in my opinion. Paid for the rise and dine breakfast option and they forgot to give me apparently the voucher we needed to claim our meals. The room we had we could hear other guests and the room smelled very strange. Definitely wont be staying again next time we travel. Look for a hotel worth your dollar.

Google
The staff was amazing. I was chaperoning a school trip trying to get back to Phoenix, Arizona from Japan, when American Airlines stranded us in LA with 33 people (most of them minors.) The people at the hotel were incredible. The airline just gave us a voucher and shuttled us over. I walked in unannounced at 6:30 pm with my huge group and they bent over backwards to accommodate us. They let us take over the lobby to feed the kids dinner and breakfast, and they arranged to bring extra shuttles in early to ensure we could all make it to the airport in time for our flights the next morning. They even waived the room deposits because of the circumstances. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The building was cute and clean, and the staff was the best. If I could give them more than five stars I would.

Yelp
What a great start to my vacation, stayed at this hotel as an overnight before early morning flight. I didn't want to do the chain hotels right at the airport, wanted more of a boutique style stay & that's what you get here. It's about ten min by über from LAX and once you navigate the walk to the über pick up point it's a quick trip to the hotel. The feels are a hipster chic vibe with a nice clean modern design. The lobby is very nice. Everything you need is here an indoor/outdoor restaurant overlooking the pool, they have a great happy hour from 4-6. Morning coffee/breakfast starts at 0500. I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely return. Right next door is a supermarket called Ralph's with a Starbucks inside. I don't understand all the two & three star reviews but the positive side to that was, I was pleasantly surprised.

Yelp
Recently stayed at Hotel June in LA and it was a good experience. This location is only ten (10) minutes from LAX and is not your average airport hotel. Hotel June is modern, chic, and could be described as a "hipster" hotel. There is something warm and welcoming about the modern decor, colors, and overall experience. When you walk into the hotel, you'll notice a colorful accent wall which really makes the hotel lobby pop. I was greeted by a friendly desk associate who was very welcoming. The rooms are very art deco in their design and was very comfortable. Each room is equipped with an Apple TV, so you can easily sign into Netflix, Hulu, Disney +, and more. Also, each guest can get a free Boxed Water. There is a restaurant above the pool which is adjacent to the lobby, a coffee bar, a 24 hour gym, and pool. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend you stay a night if you're ever in LA.

Mike N.

Yelp
Decent hotel.... Didnt have any issues. Check in staff was nice and efficient. Room was good. Good experience; not "amazing" though...

Rhonda M.

Yelp
Overall...horrible property, horrible customer service...and totally overpriced. I travel a lot and always stay at Marriotts so that if there is an issue - I know that it will get resolved. When I shared this with the front desk the agent said 'we are not really part of Marriott'. And that was clear - we obtained the highest level of loyalty possible (as I noted, we travel a lot) - but I was not greeted or afforded any of the perks we have come to enjoy from a brand - where we have been so loyal too. Also, the rooms were drab and just looked more like a lower-end economy hotel. I'm still waiting for a call back from the manager. There is nothing 'Proper' about this property.

Yelp
Our 2nd stay wonderful here and we are booked to return again in August. Great place to stay with a small group or large family group! Staff was very friendly, accommodating and extremely helpful. Lobby and lobby bar area and Caravan Club great place to hang out. Morning coffee bar very convenient. Wonderful meal on Mother's Day brunch at their Caravan Swim Club followed by relaxing poolside hang out with drinks. Car valet staff very organized - never had to wait for our car during a very busy graduation Special thanks to Juan, Jordan, Jackie and Caylee for making our graduation stay Special!

Yelp
I had reserved a five day LAX parking at this hotel last week because a family member also had parked his car there for the same trip. The proximity to LAX was great. But this is about the best thing I can say about this experience. Catching my flight was stressful. I pull up to the poorly designated parking area. No attendant in sight. I wait for ten minutes. Not a single person came around. I walked into the hotel lobby... the attendant was playing with his cell phone and said to me if there is no one out there he must be parking a car and he will be back. Another fifteen minutes later the attendant finally appears and takes my keys. I was super lucky to catch the only shuttle they had quickly after that. They made the conclusion of my return trip miserable. I called and texted their designed number as instructed when I arrived on Sunday night. After making my multiple calls, they told me that the only shuttle they had leaves EVERY 45 MIN. And that it is currently on its way back to the hotel. I saw other parking shuttles pass me many times while I was waiting in the designated shuttle area. As in dozens of times, each company/brands. In that same timeframe. And there was regret on my part for not choosing one of many many other options of companies out there. While standing out in the cold for over an hour waiting. So 1.5 hours later after I stepped out of the baggage claim, I finally get to my car. And I don't know where they parked my car but there are water stains all over the left side of my car. (Did they park it on their lawn where sprinklers are going off?). Ugh. So to sum it up, if you use them for your airport parking, be prepared to give up a couple of hours before and after your flight. Only one shuttle and understaffed. They really shouldn't be offering this service to the general public for airport parking it is just really not up to par. The price savings is just not worth the hassle.

Julie G.

Yelp
So far so good. $3.75 per day to park here. Free shuttle to LAX Great happy hour 5-7pm Lovely staff Free WIFi Roof top bar Cool tunes My new best find for where to leave my car of flying out of LAX. Thank you

Megan V.

Yelp
I usually do not write reviews on Yelp unless I know that my review will be useful to others booking. Good: -Proximity to airport -Shuttle service to the airport (MAKE SURE to get there 15 MINUTES EARLIER than the posted departure time) They tell you 10 minutes but our shuttle that was supposed to leave at 7:15, left at 7:03! I am lucky I made my partner and I leave earlier than expected. -It is not like a Motel 6 where I am scared to sleep in the bed or anything, clean when we got in and cool ambiance. -The shuttle driver, Tyronne, was awesome and funny with great customer service. -The morning desk staff was a lot friendlier than the night staff, maybe the time of day but it sucked my only interaction was with the day staff who could have been less interested in being friendly. -The visitor valet is awesome, they only have valet!!! My friends dropped me off and it was $10 no in-n-out privileges but was good for 4 hours. Bad: -I found this hotel on hotels.com and the price was $130/night. Upon arrival, they charged this as well as taking a $50 deposit for the one night I was staying there. This is normal and fair. -We had only used the toilet ONCE and it clogged right away. Luckily we were only staying one night so we were able to live with it and not flush when we went. I had also tried the cardio room bathroom which was also clogged..... Definitely, need better plumbing -The shower was very hard to control the temperature and my boyfriend said it was a short shower head if you are 5'10" and above I recommend getting ready to bend your neck to get the shower. -The front desk staff during the day were unenthusiastic and seemed to not care about our stay. They were a little condescending when I asked about reserving a spot on the airport shuttle when it tells you to do so on the key cards.... Overall, not the worst hotel I have stayed at BUT 1 night was enough. Glad I did not have to stay longer.

Yelp
Our vehicle was with Custom LAX for 17 days in October. We picked up our car at night and the next morning noticed a red liquid was sprayed all over our car. After washing and trying to buff out the remaining stain for over an hour, I notified Custom LAX at 10am. I completed a claim, submitted pictures and a repair estimate as requested. After 43 days, and four unreturned calls, our claim was denied since we did not provide evidence that it was sprayed with the red liquid while in their care. Their claim that there is camera surveillance is questionable since the damage was done while it was in their custody. All we expected was that our car be returned in the same condition as it was left. We spent $189 to park there and will spend another $200 to buff out the stains that remain all over our car. They get the one star for the shuttle transport. I wrote a one star review on their website which shows all five star reviews. I will not be surprised if my review does not get posted...

Todd R.

Yelp
This hotel is not worth 150.00 bucks on any day. I booked this after a last minute change my flight plans. The website looks much better than the actual rooms. I found a room to be dirty one lamp didn't work. It's just generally dark and dingy and the bed was subpar. There is a poolside club if that's your thing. I will say that Staff was very nice and helpful

Nonya B.

Yelp
I have used custom hotel parking on 3 separate occasions and had no problems. The prices are great if you book through way.com in advance for usually about $6/a day. It's all valet so when you call for pick up your car is already waiting for you. It's actually a really good place to park. However when it comes to the shuttle for pick up be prepared to wait. I learned to call as soon as you get off the plane DO NOT wait till you are ready because it usually takes them 20 minutes to pick you up. Plan ahead of time and you will be ok. Secondly if you have an early flight you are out of luck. The shuttle doesn't start till 5am. Ummmm airports are open 24/7 with flights at all hours of the day. I had a flight to catch at 6am. I had to cancel my parking reservations because the only way to get to the airport was by cab or uber which I had no idea would be available or not at 3:45am. They can not continue to conduct business this way and on top of that they only have 1 shuttle.

Hayley N.

Yelp
Do not stay here. None of the staff is on the same page. Power outage in whole building for 2+ hours with no update. The staff says they have no update and everyone is stranded here with no power.

Pc H.

Yelp
Bad place to park. The valet put a $1000 dent in my bumper on my 2018 Audi. They reported it to their insurance company Liberty Mutual and natch they denied before even speaking with me. What a lousy place to park your car.

Peter E.

Yelp
Affordable lodging if youre stuck in LA. Nothing fancy, boutique style hotel for $100. Location is so convenient. Free shuttle service. 24hr gym across the street. Walking distance to many decent eateries, coffee shops and restaurants, including Kanpai Sushi, my favorite in LA area!

Sean B.

Yelp
Think very hard before using this service. The shuttles are so infrequent, we nearly missed our flight out. On the way back, well, I'm writing this review curbside while still waiting. I called from LAX at 9:53 PM. It took 50 minutes for the shuttle to arrive. It's 11:19 PM and I still don't have my car yet.

Yelp
Being a photographer and have worked in the hotel industry, you gotta set your expectations. The photos set on here by the business owner have really been shopped to look nice and classy. Custom Hotel is your average run of the mill spot near the LAX airport. Easy enough to get too, but some of other guest will make it hard. I recommend that if you are a light sleeper, request a room away from the street. Luckily, with some training, I can sleep through a lot, but cars and sirens were going all night. Also loud people in the hallways and doors slamming are uncomfortable too. The shower.... VERY LOUD!!! Louder than being in a plane loud. The check in process was really easy and painless. They only have valet here and when I pulled up, no one came out of their booth to help me. Where's the customer service guys?!?? And to pay $32 a night!! Might as well take my wallet! The room is simple and easy. I had a king bed, low to the ground. The bathroom reminds me of a bad prison bathroom. The floor is a hard cement that's painted, again, super loud shower and simple cheap toilet paper. The room reminded me of a very simple one bedroom studio college style. Not much artwork on the walls, simple tv in the corner and like an IKEA bed. The front guest agent who helped me was nice. Kelly was all smiles and got me checked in quickly. A $50 incidental charge was held on my card which drops at the moment of check-out. The gals at checkout... 1 was really helpful. There were two gals to the right. The one in the middle was very rude and to be sitting down at the front desk. I can't believe that this "boutique" is so laid back and that none of them had name tags showing and they were wearing jeans. Sorry but at least get some black slacks and make it a little more classy. When I asked the girl in the middle if there was a Starbucks nearby she just said "yeah... it just around the corner!" Not being from there area, the least she could do was give me some kind of instructions and tell me that "yes Ralph's is around the corner if you head down the walkway and make a left" Again, I worked at a resort before. You're suppose to at least paint a picture so the guest knows where they are going. Would I stay here again? Maaaaaaaaybe... the valet fee is way overpriced, but if I did just need a place to crash for the night.... then I would consider coming back.

Jeff Z.

Yelp
First off, I would like to commend the valet attendants. Before and after our trip, the valet employees were helpful and attentive. They even had the car pulled up and ready for us for a quick departure. After uber-ing to and from downtown LA to LAX the week before, I realized that it is far cheaper to park at Custom Hotel. Over this past weekend (from Friday to Sunday), I parked my car at Custom Hotel via their valet service for less than twenty bucks. Very economical. However, this discount option shows its flaws through the shuttle service. Running only every 45 minutes, with seemingly only one bus (plastered with a barely-visible paper sign), you would have to enjoy the hotel lobby or baggage claim for quite a bit of time. ALSO, the driver is completely inept at customer service, actually societal rules. Barreling down the congested LAX roads, this man had the audacity to use his phone with a full bus. Upon arrival to the hotel, I grabbed my baggages to expedite the unloading process and potentially ease the load for this driver. He took heavy offense to this action and proceeded to berate me in front of the other passages. As I was first in line, I stood there listening to "I would not come to your house and grab your belongings...you are going to make me lose my job..." causing the rest of the passengers to wait patiently for this driver to end his tirade. These are my baggages. And I don't see the parallel in the analogy. How does your job responsibility enable you to grab everything? Would NOT recommend or if you do, don't touch your bags during the shuttle ride.

Sherman H.

Yelp
Useless. The good price goes out the window when you find out they have only one shuttle and in order not to miss your flight you need to spend $15 for a cab. On return you wait 1/2 hour and the idiotic shuttle driver stops in the middle of the road behind other shuttles for about 15 seconds. Hence, with your luggage you miss it. Now you wait another 1/2 hour or take.... you guessed it: a cab. Next go round the same shuttle never stopped. Had to call to get him to turn around. Noticed that the Shuttles sign is a paper printout : Custom Hotel. So maybe a third party deal. Never again

Cheyenne C.

Yelp
DO NOT PARK HERE! Valet was absolute trash. When I called to clarify where exactly to go for valet once I get to the hotel the guy on the phone just laughed and hung up. Called back and he didn't even say hi he just picked up the phone until I said hello. I asked again where to go he said just go upstairs. So I did, where I met an awesome guy who said sorry they said that but it's actually downstairs. So I went downstairs and found valet. Walked up and asked if he's the one answering the phones, he said no and then the phone rang. I laughed and said well that answers that! HORRIBLE SERVICE. He was a heavier set Hispanic guy 40's to 50's 12/22/19 @9am. Go anywhere else, trust me.

Racielle P.

Yelp
Where do i start, ceiling is falling off as soon as u walk in, elevator only fits 4-5 people at a time, bed is almost to the floor, carpet smells like urine, ac doesnt work, bathroom is too small, they only give u 2 towels, at least the staff are super nice. Never again..

Julie L.

Yelp
If I could give this hotel -5 stars, I would. Seriously, save yourself from staying here, this place is Disgusting. My Husband and I stayed on Saturday 5/19, we got in around 6pm after a very long travel day. We were tired. The hotel has a pool party outside and was blasting extremely loud techno music (fyi- I like techno, this was just not the right place, or expected). The hotel gave us our room, and it ended up being on the 5th floor directly above and in view of the loud party music. We immediately went back down to the lobby and asked for a different room. The gal at the front desk was very rude and made an issue out of my husband and I asking for a quieter room. She said "are you guys going to sleep already??!? It doesn't last all night.." Actually, it did, until 11pm; and who cares if we Did want to go to sleep at 6pm?? Also, the hotels second club opens up from 10pm until 2am- perfect. The hotel says that it is smoke free, however, Everything wreaked of cigarette smoke. The rooms were dirty, the bed linens stained, the carpets nasty (I kept my socks on the whole time), and the hallways of the hotel smell of urine- everywhere... and I know this because we originally had a room on the 5th floor, and then we were moved to the 3rd floor. Simply- the entire place is Disgusting and the staff is Very rude. And the majority of the hotel guests were the ones at the clubs, smoking, drinking, partying, ALL night long and throughout the hallways of the hotel. That Saturday night, my husband and I attempted to sleep through all of this when around 9:30pm the people above our room were making a tremendous amount of noise and there was so much banging that we had to call the front desk. The staff said that other people already called to complain and that security was on their way. Well, it wasn't until midnight that the noise finally ceased. My Husband and I had our last straw. We immediately left the hotel and found a less expensive, cleaner, quieter, friendlier hotel just down the street and spent the rest of our stay there. This hotel is simply a party hotel, people smoke everywhere, are loud and obnoxious, the hotel has Two clubs that Blast music until the morning, the rooms are very dirty and nothing works- don't try to watch tv, the digital cable stayed scrambled the whole time, and wifi did not work either, and the staff is extremely rude and not helpful or sincere. I hope that my review helps others avoid this horrible experience that my husband and I had to endure. The interesting thing is, I only booked this hotel based off my prior experience with them when they were a new hotel many many years ago; I wish I would've read the numerous negative reviews and known that this hotel has gone down the toilet. Oh!- and they charge $35 for overnight parking which is not disclosed, and street parking is non-existent lol.

Kathy G.

Yelp
Lobby seems to be very transient. Halls very poorly lit. Dirty, room lights don't work. Wires covered in electrical tape. Beds only a foot off the floor. Shuttle doesn't start until 5am. Checked out-didn't feel safe!

Chaseyourthrone S.

Yelp
This hotel is old and smells stuffy! My shower had hair all in it and stains on the shower curtain. I feel like I was at a motel 6 and not the new remodeled one. Stay somewhere else. The Embassy is down the street don't come here. I love the Embassy I just decided to try something new! I travel a lot and this is just not it.

Fancie L.

Yelp
The rooms are dumpy, dingy and small The pool is small. The clientele is like upscale hostel types

Victoria R.

Yelp
I'm currently at the custom hotel and it is 1:27 a.m.. I arrived approximately at 12:50, left at 12:52 and realize that my tint was peeling off my passenger side window. I called them back immediately and turned around to fill out claim report. , I arrived at 12:59 minutes later only for the attendant to tell me that his manager said that since I already left the property they are not liable but I'm still welcome to fill out a claim report. I called the manager spoke with him. As of now he says the claim will be filed within 3 to 4 days. I will be following up closely on this as I do not appreciate the rude customer service or being hung up on by the manager. I thought the process of custom Hotel was smooth until now hopefully they can remedy this and keep a client as opposed to losing one. Will update soon.

Nicole S.

Yelp
Tuesday March 3rd, 6:30am. The guy at the parking stand is totally unprofessional and super rude. We've utilized the parking at Custom Hotel several times and it's always been valet parking. Today the guy made us park ourselves? My husband asked if this had recently changed and he just said "I don't know. I don't check the policies everyday." My husband had to go park the car, leaving me with our baby and luggage, and literally run back. Out of breath, we now didn't have time to wait for the shuttle and had to call an Uber. I hope this jerk gets fired. I wouldn't hire him for free.

Mayra V.

Yelp
Guys at the valet are rude. Aside from that the shuttle service was fast and convenient. I've left my car here a couple times and my car has been okay upon arrival

Neesy R.

Yelp
Save your money and book elsewhere, shuttle takes absolutely forever to pick you up. We waited 45 minutes to get picked up. They are also extremely rude, this is the first and last time I will be booking here.

Leean C.

Yelp
Wow! Not only reasonably priced, the shuttle picked us up fast and then our car was waiting for us out in front.

DO K.

Yelp
It is little cheaper than other Airport Parking but expect at least one hour waiting for pick up service.

Bill V.

Yelp
Our experience with this company was good. Booked through way.com it was pretty cheap for airport parking, and the location is just a mile from the terminals. The valets gave good service on both ends of the trip, and we had no problems when we returned--we just called the number and the shuttle came within a few minutes. The regular schedule of the shuttle is about every 20 minutes, but in our case the operator asked the driver to loop back around to get us since he had just passed where we were standing. They have your car waiting by the time the shuttle returns. The car wasn't parked under cover so it was pretty dirty, but that's no big deal.

Abe O.

Yelp
I really hope this helps someone. I should have listened to the other reviews but unfortunately I rolled the dice and lost. I made the reservation, arrived at the lot and was told they are full. Way.com was supposedly to blame and they handed me their phone number. The customer service was useless and all they did was offer a refund. A refund is useless when you have nowhere to park. TLDR: don't park here. Reservation means nothing, save yourself the aggrevation.

Brian M.

Yelp
This hotel started off ok but they were horrible. I called the hotel phone number 13 times and they never answered the phone. I got lucky and was able to find the shuttle driver in the road and he took us to the hotel. Extremely horrible experience. I will never use this service again.

Charles S.

Yelp
I want to take the time just say that Tyrone the driver is absolutely the best driver I have encountered. He genuinely cares about his customers. You always has a professional demeanor a great attitude, and is always helpful with every customer. Employees like Tyrone keep customers like me coming back.

Mr C.

Yelp
I'm going to try to be nice, because I don't know if the problem is with Custom Hotel's shuttle, or the website I booked thru, which is way.com and that's what I was depending on. Booking thru Way is very inexpensive. But they say that when you arrive at LAX to call the hotel and they will send the shuttle. NOT TRUE. The shuttle has a regular schedule (which I never saw), so I had to wait an extra 20 minutes. Not the end of the world, but the employee that took my call at Custom had the "not my problem" attitude, and the people at Way don't speak English well, didn't seem to understand my problem, and won't change their website.

Helen B.

Yelp
My experience compared to others that I've read was completely different. Custom Parking was cost efficient and VERY timely. The moment I parked my car, the shuttle was already there and ready for me to board. When I arrived back at LAX, I sent them a text and they me me clear direction on what they needed and the pick up point. The second I arrived at the pick up point, the shuttle just popped right up! The driver was also very friendly and laughed at my lame jokes. I will definitely be using them again!

Carlos G.

Yelp
Bad service you have to call for the to pick you up and when you call the person on the phone is not helpfull will never ever use this place again also when I dropped off my vehicle with the vallet guy, he seemed cold and rude

Veronica P.

Yelp
After a VERY long day of traveling (which also included a very delayed layover due to a tornado watch) I was looking forward to relaxing in a nice hotel for the night. Well...I took a Lyft from the airport to the hotel and the whole place is being renovated so it's a mess. The guy at the front desk told me it was just the lobby but hearing construction at 7:30 in the morning above me when I'm on the 4th floor is not considered the lobby. The front entrance is in an alley (real safe for traveling alone) and even my Lyft driver walked me to the entrance to make sure I was okay. I checked in and found that my room is literally the first thing you see when the elevator doors open (again- real safe for traveling alone). The walls are so thin that I could hear every word from other rooms and the hall. Sure, the rooms are nice but if you're traveling alone and looking for some peace and quiet, $160 is not worth your stay here.

Yelp
1 text, 5 calls, 60 minute wait and innumerable excuses. You can walk faster. Stay clear!

Yelp
Have stayed here 2-3 times over last 3 years. This time staying for a week. Only one of their 3 elevators has been working for last 2 days. They had a bus with 65 people staying. Getting down from room took over 10 minutes. This one s unacceptable and they should be compensating guests, since they have not fixed it in over two days. Also charge $35 per day to park car now. This was not disclosed when I made reservation. Would no longer recommend this place.

Yelp
It took 41 minutes before the shuttle arrived at the shuttle stop at LAX. Luckily, I was already getting a ride from Lyft and only a minute away. This was the second and final time this will happen. The first time was in December 2016. The final time was in December 2017. Also, the ticket/voucher says the shuttle leaves every 20 minutes. Yeah, right. You get what you pay for.

Yelp
Here's my simple and precise review. DONT DO IT! The parking and was fine... it's the shuttle pick up at LAX is unbelievably THE WORST experience. As instructed, I called once we landed, gave the terminal number, number of passengers and parking ticket number. After waiting 45 minutes at the designated shuttle pick up, no shuttle. 2 more calls and a text was made. I was given the standard run around, Traffic getting into LAX, it's really busy... The kicker was that the dispatch did not know the location of the shuttle. First they said it would be a white van, then a black van... In the end the shuttle did arrive 65 minutes after the initial call. The driver had no idea that we were the pick up passengers because he asked for all the information that I called in 65 mins earlier. We were picked up at terminal 1 with no other pick ups throughout the terminal "head back to base" per the instructions from the dispatch. I asked the driver if he could bypass the remaining terminals and take the turn around at terminal 1... to no avail, we toured the entire terminal. Apparently, the driver had a trainee in the front passenger seat giving instructions on the route to and from the hotel... Advise, choose a parking lot with multiple shuttles, a better dispatch service, reputation for timely service and one that doesn't use actual pick ups as a training session. Stay away... if you're staying at hotel you're on your own as I can't vouch for that part. GL

Yelp
This is a review of the hotel's long term parking. I booked it through Ways.com. I'm posting this review while waiting for the shuttle back to our car at the airport. It's been 45 mins now and the shuttle has been too busy to pick us up. They only have one shuttle and it was too full the first time around, they claim, although we never saw it come by. That being said, they did do a good job on the other end getting us to the airport in a timely manner.

Yelp
Good parking valet staff over night and airport. I would give more stars but my recent 3 night stay at the Custom hotel was horrible. I had a deluxe king room with full skill-saw noisy construction in the room next to mine. I was not informed about the construction; and no offer to change rooms. Noise went on 9-5 every day. Nonrefundable reservation. Only compensation offered was a free breakfast. Not acceptable. Nice front desk staff but the new manager was horrible and would not speak to me directly. No offer for a discount $ on a future reservation. Stay somewhere else... sad as I have stayed here any times over the years

Yelp
Horrible. When we arrived home from a long flight with three young children, finally got through customs (which took forever in itself) we called for our shuttle. They said they were on their way. We were VERY clear where we were - they confirmed location. We wait, and wait, and wait - we call they say they are still on their way. We wait, and wait, and wait, we see MANY other shuttles starting to repeat. Our kids are tired, and freezing (it's cold at LAX at night!.. after being in Mexico) we called again, they said someone had already passed and picked up two people - we confirmed that we had NOT moved spots and were diligently watching every single shuttle pass. We are certain we did not miss them. The guy on the phone proceeded to argue with me and tell me I was wrong and not in the right spot. I took a picture of where we were to prove we were indeed in the right spot. We finally after 1 hour of waiting for our shuttle to arrive and having very rude service from them over the phone we opted for a taxi - $21 taxi ride later, we called saying we took a taxi and to please have our car ready - did they? NOPE. Our car was not ready when we arrived. This place is a joke. When we pulled up the shuttle was parked, we were told they were "out to get us" several times. NO ONE should have to wait an hour for their pick up - ever. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Yelp
Have stayed here many times. Rooms are nice and never had any issues. Has an attached bar and pool with a great ambiance. Place is also next to Ralphs which is super convenient and great location in LA

Yelp
Yes this is very cheap parking, and valet, BUT it's not worth ANYTHING if they damage your car and deny that it happened. When I returned from my trip I found the rear quarter panel and side of the bumper scraped up. It looked like they had rubbed it against a concrete or metal post. They denied doing this and took no responsibility. Cost me $300 to repair. I will never park at this hotel again or any valet lots for that matter.

Yelp
This place literally gets the one star from me because the attendant working and handling my situation was cool and intelligent. First off, pulling up to the hotel there was virtually NO parking. You haft to pay 30+ dollars to have your car parked for you. The hotel looked decent from the outside and the lobby. I booked online and the check in was pretty simple. On the way up to the rooms is when I really noticed the "value" of this place. It seemed like a place that wanted to go thru renovations but whichever company that handled it just decided to give up halfway thru. The elevators smelled of weed and alcohol, the interior walls were dirty and grimy, paint was chipped and the carpet was dirty. The rooms were even worse!!!! Bathroom was small and dirty. Smelled of cigarettes and booty. The furnishings were old and worn. The curtains over the room and lighting made it feel like a cheap back hole strip club or something. It seemed like a place you would take a cheap hooker or prostitute to and forget the night the next day. I literally stayed in my room 5 minutes before packing my bags and cancelling my reservations. Pretty pissed that I had to pay a cancellation fee almost the same price as the night I booked but honestly to get out of there It was worth it! I should have just paid a little extra in the first place to stay up the street at one of the Hilton hotels. Don't make the same mistake I did! Book at your own risk, you've been warned!!

Yelp
i dropped off my vehicle clean and when i picked it up it was filthy, after just 3 days. besides i called to get picked up and they told me bus would be there in 45 minutes, 1 and 3/4 hours later the bus shows up!!! never again!!!!
