Google
Stopped in and wow! Love this place. I got the cutlet sandwich with mozzarella, broccoli rabe, and pesto (#3 I believe). It was wonderfully tasty and nicely balanced! I find that sandwiches often have too much bread and not enough filling but the ratio was perfect! As a lover of broccoli rabe, I was happy with how well it had been prepared. I'll be back again soon to have more– definitely want to taste their other options!

Google
Chicken cutlet sandwiches are one of my favorite kinds of sandwiches, and I was so excited to try this out! (And will waiting eagerly for the Williamsburg location to open) Sandwich is solid and tasty. I ended up making my own sandwich but the preset options look yummy as well as the dinner chicken parm options! Docked a star because in my first bite into the sandwich, my teeth hit something hard. Ended up fishing a chicken bone out of the sandwich. This is my first time here so can’t say that’s a common concern one need have, but figured I’d flag it.

Google
Everyone loves chicken and what better way to make it then in a sandwich! I thought the food was pretty good I enjoyed every bite. I wasn’t a fan of the lemonade in a can though that was pretty tasteless. I would definitely eat here again!

Google
Came for a meeting about renovating the store. Ended up having one of their chicken tenders sandwich. Not bad at all. Too bad they're moving. Hopefully another one pops up soon.

Google
came here based on an Instagram post by BrunchBoys, who says socials is all bots and algorithms don't work!?! ha. was in the mood for a Chicken Parm and Cutlets Sandwich Co delivered. the space is large and clean--not much seating except a few by the window. the space is super clean, brightly lit, and has a modern vibe. there's a large wall painted with the variety of preset chicken sandwiches as well as options for custom sandwiches. there are touch screens to order or you can order via the staff. i like that kitchen area is exposed so you see the sandwich magic. also the sandwich ingredients are sourced naturally so no chemical additives etc. ordered the Number 4 as a hero (you can order as a sandwich which is smaller) which is a Chicken Parm Hero. Chicken Cutlet, Vodka sauce, Fresh Basil, and Fresh Mozzarella. the sandwich hit the spot—the chicken was nice and crispy. the cutlet wasn’t overly thick, so the actually chicken had a nice balance of crunch and juicy chicken without being dry. the fresh mozzarella was a nice thick slice that melted in the bread and cutlet and is soft and creamy as fresh mooz sb. the vodka sauce was fine—wish it had more punch and spice. the basil adds that nice scent as well as sweet and savory flavors. overall, I’f say the No. 4 is well worth the price and is ample-sized sandwich, $13.9& + tax + tip. staff is friendly and energetic. my order was packed neatly—no mess.

Google
Sandwiches are delicious, cutlets always crispy, tender & flavorful. The fresh mozz & basil put it over the top!!!

Google
Not only the best cutlet sandwich I've had in 10+ years, but one of the best sandwiches I've had in a while. Wow. Explosively good, and good way beyond the cutlets, the bread, dressing, condiments, bacon 👌. GO HERE, NOW! Seriously, won't regret it.

Google
Absolute worst ordering experience I’ve ever encountered. They have a nice menu displayed on the counter but then you have to order on a glitchy touch screen and the menu is laid out entirely different. Horrible touch screen set up. Impersonal. Ugly. I went in and read the menu and selected my item and I wish I could have just said it to the guy but instead I had to decipher it’s secret code number they use on the screen. Screen kept scrolling weirdly. Almost left. Please change this. Get rid of the screens and hire someone to take orders. Jesus Christ. I got eggplant parm. It was fine. Kinda small but the price was reasonable. As good as most pizza places in nyc or bk but nothing special. good bread. too dry and cheese was kind of rubbery. Even if it was amazing I would NEVER go back and use their horrible ghastly ordering system. Even if it was laid out well and worked perfectly it is horrible and dystopian and I will always hate this. I wanted to try their vegan chicken meat stuff but had zero idea of how to order it. Go anywhere else.

Yelp
I will admit, I wasn't ready to be this pleasantly surprised with Cutlets. I've heard the hype about Cutlets, but am never someone to take the word until I try it myself. First, the location of this Cutlets location is prime - it's pretty central located in downtown Manhattan. Walking in, I will admit this was one of the cleanest places I've seen in a while and the décor was clean looking as well. So...let's talk now about the food. I downloaded their own iphone app https://apps.apple.com/app/id1628589789 and ordered my food. The app was really sleek and easy to use - plus they gave me a discount for ordering off their own app - so it came out to be an even better deal. For my meal, I decided to order their Special SisterSnacking Grinder (only available for a limited time) and the Breakfast Burrito. I also saw the a new Mikes' Hot Honey Hero on their menu but I'll need to try it out next time. The Special SisterSnacking Grinder had the perfect crunch of the salad with the delicious homemade sauce. I enjoyed the grinder because the chicken was not greasy whatsoever for being breaded and went down really well. Also, I have to shoutout the menu because the prices can't be beat. My breakfast burrito was such a good deal and it left me feeling really content and full with the gooey-ness. Would definitely be back for more!

Yelp
Quality chicken cutlet and all-around hero! Let's dive in ... Number One (4/5): On a flavorful seed hero, you'll find some juicy thick-cut bacon, nicely breaded chicken cutlet and a Russian-dressing sauce. Overall had a nice combo of flavor (we added tomato, onion and lettuce too. Just wish there was more of that tasty relishy-ketchup-mayo sauce. Half-Sour Pickle (4/5): A nice NY pickle. This had a well-balanced brine but wish it had even more crunch! Bag of Chips (5/5): Cape Cod chips are kettle cooked and absolutely delish. Glad we got a bag of this. Would have tried house-made chips if they made any, but never mad at Cape Cod. TL;DR: Overall I am excited by this place and the various chicken cutlet combos. Look forward to trying them perhaps with an extra side of sauce!

Katrina T.

Yelp
I'm so sad to give this place 2 stars but after trying it the first time, I thought it had to be a fluke so I went another time to confirm and sadly, I gotta give it a 2. What I've tried- Chicken Parm Sandwich (#4): I ordered this thru UberEats and I do like that they give you an option to get the sauce on the side so it doesn't get soggy in transit. However they gave me such a small container of sauce that I should've just sacrificed the soggy. The sandwich was dry, cutlet had no flavor. I ordered the sando w/ vodka sauce (they give a choice of marinara or vodka) and it was just a plain, tart tomato sauce. Pretty tasteless tbh. Sister Snacking Grinder: This was a special on their menu. Their take on the Tik Tok famous grinder sandwich. I was looking forward to the grinder salad in the sandwich but it was basically shredded lettuce and Mayo. No flavor. The bacon made a couple bites flavorful but it was inconsistent. Overall, I would not order again. I'm sad because I really wanted to like this place but with bodegas and delis all over the city serving way more flavorful sandwiches and for cheaper, I can't support. I know they're no drugs for their meats but I know plenty of place who do that and still serve well-seasoned food.

Nick G.

Yelp
I got the eggplant parm sandwich which was good, however the chicken cutlets looked very old school Italian flattened and breaded and delicious. No whole weather bread options. Can choose from a wrap or hero.

Michelle Y.

Yelp
I ordered online and picked this up at the east village location. I got a breakfast sandwich with eggs and bacon and added lettuce. It was a really delicious sandwich and a great value. I got the cheese on the side too which they listened to which was great. The only thing was this was very greasy and oily. If you start eating it and have to do something else, you really have to wash your hands. Paper towels and napkins won't completely help. I also found the bacon had a little too much fat for my liking but I really did enjoyed this sandwich and hope to try others ones in the future.

Tsvika K.

Yelp
It's fresh . Not all others are ..... It's tasty . Not all others are .... Service is excellent . I will skip fries here, still needs work . But whenever you around them, it's a safe bet.

Alison A.

Yelp
I reaaallly enjoyed this place. You can do a healthy meal if you want and get a salad, which was super filling, or get a sandwich. I definitely would want to come again and try more things. The cutlet was delicious and perfectly crispy and the sauces were really good too

Holly S.

Yelp
So I had been wanting to try the food from here and everything looked really delicious in the photos. I decided to do a salad and I did the create your own option which included shredded iceberg (not my favorite but was fresh and crunchy), red onions, basil (which they forgot, but no worries), and sharp provolone for my cheese. I chose the house sauce and honey mustard as my dressings in case I wasn't happy with either. I did order extra dressing which wasn't in my bag (paid for) but I was so happy with my salad I honestly didn't care lol. Both dressings were yummy so I kept alternating dipping pieces of cutlet and bites of salad/cutlet. The honey mustard wasn't too sweet, just perfect. The house sauce was like a russian dressing which I also love. The chicken was cooked perfectly and a generous portion too. It was seasoned well and crisp. My only wish is that they would give more veggie options to add to the salad so it's a little more enjoyable. I would definitely order from here again, I know I want to try the half sandwich combo next time.

Yelp
The customer service was Absolutely horrible I walked in and I was the only person there I was asked to use the kiosk to order which wouldn't of been a problem if it was customer friendly I told the woman at the counter- I was having a problem.. She could of cared less.. she referred me back to the kiosk. This place is more concerned with there online orders than taking care of customers present in their store.. I was literally in there store for 22 minutes. This is the 1st negative post I have ever written. I will never return. Go if you have a lot of time to Waste.

Thomas M.

Yelp
Both the sandwich and side cutlet were dry, though the side sauces helped with that immensely. The special sauce and basil pesto were good but also generic. The marinara sauce was watery. Found a bone inside my sandwich but contacted management and they were quick to respond, apologize, and refund the sandwich portion of my meal.

Albert K.

Yelp
Got takeout. - chicken parm was healthy and tasted excellent - curly fries are super crispy and tasty - chicken cutlet salad was large portioned and delicious Really good food, especially for chicken cutlet. Gladly would eat again. The chicken parm marinara tasted a bit light/watered down, but still 5/5.

Madeleine B.

Yelp
I came by to get pickup and got the #12 sandwich on a hero. Super yummy. Service was quick. Would definitely come back!

Millie R.

Yelp
You can always count on a great & fresh sandwich at cutlets. I always get the parm on a hero with mozzarella & vodka sauce. My husband picked up the Turkey and sweet peppers on a roll. There is a $2 additional fee if you want to go up in bread size from a roll to a hero. Price point is average, always clean location, staff is friendly and they practice safety procedures. Go try them out remember the sandwiches are filling and so good. Free range /hormone free chicken.

Mike C.

Yelp
Another new business to open during Covid, this one a delivery-only sandwich spot based out of Midtown. As the name indicates, their specialty is chicken cutlets. They also have an excellent eggplant cutlet, but if you are not a vegetarian definitely go for something with chicken - start with the #1 for an excellent intro. The bread is from Parisi Bakery, so it's some of the best in the biz, which immediately starts these sandwiches off on the right foot. The cutlets are nice and crispy and the special sauce is on point too. I tried a few sandwiches a bit after they were made, and they still held up very well, but I'm looking forward to trying some more of the hot ones, especially the chicken parm.

DaJuan J.

Yelp
Ordered their caesar salad via grubhub for takeout and...WOW. Very impressed! I've heard that the sandwiches are good but I'm trying to cut out dial back my bread intake a bit. As for the salad, they include a very generous amount of chicken! I ordered an extra cutlet on the side because I wasn't sure how much they'd give but I didn't need it! The croutons and lettuce were both very fresh. I 100% will be ordering from Cutlets again!

Marc S.

Yelp
Delicious, fresh and flavorful. Hands down the best sandwich place in my hood. Get the chicken cutlet with mozzarella, broccoli rabe, pesto and spices.

Jacky C.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this spot when I was too late to grab a sandwich from Best Bagel & Coffee. They differentiate themselves from all the sandwich shops by marketing themselves being all natural with no chemicals, hormones, additives, etc. I asked which one was the most popular since it was my first time, and they told me it was their number one: Chicken Cutlet, Thick Cut Bacon, White Cheddar, Cutlets' Special Sauce on a roll ($12). I added lettuce, tomato, and onions free of charge. The sandwich itself is pretty decent and super filling. Thick bacon slices and the chicken cutlet itself was as good as advertised. I am a fan.

Dahlia H.

Yelp
Tldr: good quality food, but thin chicken cutlets! I ordered through DoorDash and they forgot two of my sauces! The chicken cutlet in my sandwich was a bit thin for my liking - thin cutlet means dry chicken! Not sure if I'll order here again. Maybe I'll get a wrap next time.

Stuart L.

Yelp
#4 is AMAZING - the bread Is fresh as can be. The chicken is so tender, the vodka sauce is amazing. Arguably the best Sandwich in NYC. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Jim P.

Yelp
I ordered a number 9 which is basically grilled chicken cutlet w/ mozzarella and some greens with a balsamic. $2 extra for a seeded roll. Pricing is odd, because I thought they were small or large sizes... but I guess that is for your bread selection. (wrap...or roll) Also, the kiosks at the counter confused me a bit, as there was no one in line but someone standing at the one real register. Just guide me that's all. Older people would rather deal with a human. and...finally, they said they would call my number when ready...and I waited at the front stools near the window....but no one called my number it was simply lumped in with all the online orders up at the front. Whatever...logistics problems are a small worry when the food is this good. (Albeit $15 for an ok size sammy but excellent ingredients) Overall, I could master the menu and probably will. My middle name is "Cutlet"!! And did I see a "thick cut" bacon sandwich as an option...or is that just an extra? Either way... that's next.

Jonathan O.

Yelp
good ass sandwich. bread on the hero is a little small. They could toasted the cheese a lil. All in all it was tasty and filling. 8.8/10. toast the cheese & add some hot sauce ..... easy 10. I got number 1. I'll definitely be back

Adam C.

Yelp
Every now and then it's good to try something new to keep it fresh. Cutlets offered new meat mostly chicken and I "accidentally" ordered the fried version- and I was glad I did. It essentially was a sub but it had this cheese that was so tasty.

Gabriel U.

Yelp
This place is great! I've recently started getting lunch here and I'm sad that they're moving to another location. My go to is the number three, which is chicken cutlet with fresh broccolini and mozz. The portions are great and the food is always fresh. Love it here!

Navin M.

Yelp
The eggplant cutlet here is excellent however both times I ordered the grilled eggplant and the eggplant cutlet the eggplant was a little undercooked. The rest of the mix-ins were great and the cutlet was breading was incredible. It would also be amazing if it would be possible to get a sandwich without the eggplant (eg with just broccoli rabe) as the broccoli rabe is nicely prepared. I ordered on their website both times and the interface was easy and the service very friendly. It was a great experience overall.

Melissa P.

Yelp
These sandwiches are great and they deliver within such a large area. We got the following: -number 2: Chicken Cutlet, Sharp Provolone, Roasted Red Peppers, Aged Balsamic Vinegar, EVOO - this was really good. All the flavors went well together and the chicken cutlet was cooked perfectly. Just wish the cheese was melted a little more. -number 3: Chicken Cutlet, Fresh Mozzarella, Broccoli Rabe, Aged Balsamic Vinegar, Cutlets' Basil Pesto. This was also really good. The chicken cutlet was cooked perfectly. The broccoli rabe tasted a little strange so I ended up removing it. -number 8: Eggplant Cutlet, Fresh Mozzarella Broccoli Rabe, Roasted Red Peppers, Cutlets' Basil Pesto, Aged Balsamic Vinegar. This may have been my favorite. I really enjoyed the eggplant cutlet and the broccoli rabe wasn't over powering. I would definitely recommend paying $2 extra for a sub and it's worth ordering delivery from this restaurant.

Karsen O.

Yelp
Don't go here with a sesame allergy (top 9 major food allergen). i got a delivery order and made a note of my allergens on the ticket, chose a non-seeded bun, so i should've been safe, and there were about 10-15 stray sesame seeds all over EVERYTHING.... the bread, lettuce, chicken, etc. :( boooo sad (yes, IK many restaurants carry allergens & cross contamination is always a risk, but many establishments will accommodate w/o batting an eye...)

Sam M.

Yelp
Great sandwiches! I got a make your own chicken cutlet sandwich which I really enjoyed. Ingredients were fresh and tasted good. I see myself coming back here for a chill on the go snack. Ordering on the kiosk was easy and not too long of a wait.

Jennie K.

Yelp
ordered from here a few times now and the quality was consistently great! had to order online in advance because the line is pretty long but i love it here!

Brynn G.

Yelp
amazing sandwich came out super fast too lots of options and ways to customize. Will definitely be coming back

Patricia M.

Yelp
The food is good but the service is terrible. I am here ordering a salad and the cashier is rude and arrogant. I asked if they chopped and instead of saying no with an attitude said we never do it we only "sauce it. I said hmmm...I ve come several times and that is what they asked but could be mistaken. Maybe it was late and empty but this will be the death of a restaurant no matter how good the food. Get nicer people representing your restaurant. I would rate it higher as everything is fresh and good but your people in the front need to be better.

Ehani S.

Yelp

Yelp
I absolutely love sandwiches so tend ill preface that i have a really high bar. 4 stars for the area 3 if you are considering nyc landscape Conceptually this spot bills itself as paying tribute to the classic deli experience. I read they started out the ghost kitchen route but i ran across their really large brick n mortar location. (Pretty bold footprint for a place that wants to specialize just in sandwiches but alas we are experiencing covid operations) You can find it located on the broadway stretch between union square and madison sq park. High quality ingredients should be the first thing standing out about the approach. You cannot go wrong w sourcing parisi bread afterall. Bacon is thick n smokey, etc. In my experience if you are new then always try a places signature #1. Overall it was an 'ok' sandwich. I cant complain about the ingredients and the general approach. I think for the area it is definitely a welcome addition just because we tend not to have many good sandwich spots. If i am going to knock anything ill say my 'deli' experience growing up is local long island deli where you are getting an overflowing sandwich on a hero or roll sourced from the bakery next door. My inner fat boy has that imprinted in my head. Also, pickles were always a throw in but we are in NYC and you gotta charge for everything. The sandwich here wasnt exactly the largest nor the smallest and i didnt feel like i was necessarily cheated, however, in a tough and brutal NYC market i dont think it stands up against the Faiccos or even Parisi deli itself. I think they do a good job assembling those high quality ingredients but the cutlet itself isnt necessary the star and didnt stand out. One might argue the sum of the amazing ingredients should compliment an amazing cutlet but i felt it was the other way around. Again, solid addition to the area and will hit the spot if you are craving a decent sandy but it does fall a bit short to anything i would actively make effort to hit up if i was not living in the neighborhood.

Eshika D.

Yelp
Absolutely DELISH !!! & I didn't feel heavy/bloated or gross after. Cute ambiance for a quick pick-up place and our orders came out fairly fast and 100% accurate!

Stacey G.

Yelp
Superdelicious chicken cutlet sandwiches, the way you like them. Great Caesar salad, too. So happy to have Cutlets in the neighborhood.

Diego P.

Yelp
Amazing sandwich's full of flavor and chicken of course. Their salads are not to be passed over they shred the lettuce and add their signature chicken to it. very filling worth getting.

Bobby N.

Yelp
Great service and always incredible food! Bread is fresh, ingredients are quality; highly recommend!

Jessica B.

Yelp
Cutlets is such a delicious choice for any time of day! They have something to please everyone. I tried two different eggplant cutlet sandwich and they were both amazing. Everything is so fresh and artisanal. Will continue to come back!

Bre Y.

Yelp
I ordered a grilled chicken cutlet hero, with the standard lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo. Came hot and tasty, without being soggy, which is impressive for a delivery! The chicken tasted fresh and had a juicy texture. The roll was fresh and chewy. I would definitely order again and explore the menu!

Phil C.

Yelp
A little disappointed with the chicken parm I ordered. It lacked flavor and the chicken was a little burnt. I want to return to give them another chance.

Gabby A.

Yelp
After waiting 30 minutes in the restaurant for our sandwiches, and listening to the managers berating the only two employees preparing food, I am sorry to say my order was incorrect and just not very good. Pretty disappointing considering the $52 bill for two chicken sandwiches...

Victoria H.

Yelp
Laid back spot with amazing chicken cutlet sandwiches... will definitely be back with friends!

Mel G.

Yelp
This was my first experience with Cutlets & they didn't disappoint. I got the #3 on a hero and it left me full though I was honestly expecting a bit more chicken on the sandwich. i'll definitely give this place another whirl

Suzumi A.

Yelp
This sandwich store is pretty standard. It's not bad at all, but chicken was a bit dry and tough. It's a nice seating inside.

Marissa S.

Yelp
Fabulous lunch here this week. Super easy to order online and pickup, speedy service. I ordered a custom made salad and it was absolutely delicious! Very large portion, too. The ingredients were so fresh and flavorful. Can't wait to come back.

Bilal M.

Yelp
This place was really good- the chicken in the sandwich was yummy - def worth a try and not too exp at all

J T.

Yelp
I've ordered most of the menu, and literally everything is good. Regardless of what you order, consider adding one of these two standout additions: 1. Nueske's bacon. It's thick cut and super tasty. 2. Calabrian crushed pepper. This is really unique and not something you find at many places. It's a little spicy, but not extreme. It will take any sandwich to the next level. They have good quality ingredients, decent prices, and enough variety to find something interesting. Can't ask for much more! Enjoy!

M T.

Yelp
Beware--total scam. We ordered two sandwiches , got one (it was someone else's!!) and it was the wrong one and a ghost kitchen number to complain to. Ridiculous.

ana h.

Yelp
Ordered a #6 Came on a dry almost stale roll DRY turkey "cutlet special sauce" is just Russian dressing which they should call instead of trying too make it sound fancy. In summary, never again. Order from Alidoro instead if you're craving a GOOD sandwich

Irene G.

Yelp
It was good but not amazing. Had a sandwich and a wrap. Ok option when hungry, but so many other superior delis in the city I would go before here again.
