"Cuyana's Classic Easy Zipper tote has been updated from its predecessor to include a sunken zipper, D-rings for adjustable straps, and comes in five core colors (black, caramel, cappuccino, stone, and dark olive) and two seasonal colors (sage and biscuit). It's described as an airy, unstructured tote that carries it all. The Classic Easy Zipper tote is particularly praised for its capacity and durability, making it ideal for frequent flyers and overpackers."

"I’ve been a fan of Cuyana’s Easy tote for over a year—it’s one of those fits-everything bags ideal for a day of shopping for souvenirs or running errands. One fatal flaw of any classic tote is that things may inevitably fall out if you place it on the ground. To combat the possibility of losing any items in transit, Cuyana is introducing a new take on its Easy tote—zipper included. Available in three different sizes—tall, classic, and small—the Easy Zipper tote brings the same sleek style and soft, pebbled leather feel to a brand new bag that can be completely closed to keep all your essentials secure—making it a great option as a personal item on a plane or as a commuter tote. Choose from core colors like black, caramel, cappuccino, dark olive, and stone (my personal favorite) or fun seasonal shades like biscuit and sage."

Spearheaded by their “Fewer, better” philosophy, Cuyana is an amazing minimalist company and store tucked in a dainty building on the 2nd floor in downtown SF. It aims to ultimately entice customers with having fewer high quality items to be the foundation of their closets. It prides itself with reasonably priced, classic and empowering pieces that will forever be in style, and no glaring logos which I appreciate. It’s definitely rooted in the slow fashion movement. I highly recommend their buttery soft leather bags and accessories, with available in-site monogramming for a cheap fee; they make great gift ideas with a personal touch! Stop by and check this brand out.

Google
Great customer service and their product selection is outstanding. All of their leather wallets and satchels stand out and above every other leather maker’s in quality and design. Truly special products that stand out and were well above the bar at reasonable prices. The satchel is well made with a modern, elegant design. Girlfriend was more than happy with her birthday surprise.

As a first time customer (but long time admirer) of Cuyana, I didn't know what to expect when calling customer service. I was fortunate enough to connect with a total sweetheart named Jackie- she is an absolute rockstar and offered the most SENSATIONAL service experience, bar none. Her warm demeanor immediately put me at ease, and her kind, bubbly spirit shined right through the phone. Despite my long list of questions, she was beyond patient and demonstrated an exceptional knowledge of her product line. I appreciated that expertise and honest feedback, especially since I was purchasing sight unseen. I now feel totally confident placing my order because I am fully informed and have landed on the best tote/insert combo for me. I can't wait to receive my items, but I think it's safe to say that Jackie made me a Cuyana customer for life! I highly recommend that you check out this company- not only do they produce beautiful, high-quality designs, but they have people like her on the team who make the buying process smooth, seamless, and special from start to finish! Thank you Jackie for brightening my day... I appreciate it more than you know!

Sadly, I do not live near one of the storefronts, but I have purchased from this company many times, online. They have amazing customer service and really stand by their products! When my travel set showed premature wear, they rectified the situation quickly and in a lovely, friendly manner. I will be a customer for life!

Google
Only had purchased Cuyana goods online before so when I passed by the store I wanted to check it out. The store is on the second floor in what seems like an office building in union square. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The store has an assortment of their most popular items online such as their travel pouches and totes and do personalization on the spot. Would recommend if you want to see something you saw online in person and browse.

I was looking for a particular bag for my wife for Christmas from Cuyana and it was sold out online. I called the San Francisco store and spoke with Kimberley. She not only found the bag for me, but then had it shipped to Texas. Outstanding customer service from Kimberley and a great shopping experience with Cuyana. My wife will love it! Thank you, Kimberley in SF!

I like the simplicity the ease of the lounge wear and outerwear. The handbags are quality with unique design and functionality. Customer service in store and on line is exceptional.

Its always a little uncomfortable when you are a guy buying gifts in a store intented for women. The women at Cuyana made extra effort to make sure I was comfortable, informed and teach me the ropes! Thanks, my wife is going to love her new purse!

Yelp
I've been eyeing a Cuyana bag for some time and was happy to stop by their physical store during my visit to San Francisco. The sales associate was helpful and pleasant. I am loving my Mini Easy Zipper Tote in Cappuccino. Overall great every day bag at a fantastic price.

Yelp
I, like many, was attracted by the company's philosophy of fewer, better things. I was raised to appreciate quality over quantity. That's why, when I needed a sun hat, I chose the Panama hat from Cuyana. I always stored it in the box, handled it by the brim, not the crown, and received compliments. Until a few months later when the crown started coming apart. For what I paid, it should have lasted many years! Poor value and workmanship. Of course, without the receipt, they wouldn't stand behind it despite my credit card statement showing the charge. So, for their profit from that hat, they got bad press and lost a customer or more.

Natalia F.

Yelp
I was excited about this purse, but to be honest, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. In the store, they look good, but because I wanted it monogrammed, I ordered online. Let's start with this because it was a mess. 1) customer service I wrote them a couple of times because it took them over two weeks to send me the tracking number; however, the charge was made immediately. I called multiple times, and no one answered. The time they did, the person who answered hung up on me once I told her what the problem was. In the end, they answered back two days before the purse arrived. 2) Quality control. I guess you pay for what you get. I'm attaching pictures because it is hard to describe what the "leather" is doing on one side of the purse. It looks as if someone has already used the bag. It has a black stain inside of it as well. Overall I would save my money and go somewhere else. They made the entire experience unnecessarily complicated. Just get a cheap coach tote instead at least quality control will be guaranteed

Evelyn W.

Yelp
Cuyana's designed are modern, simple and elegant; would definitely recommend to people looking for staple pieces in the bag or work cloth collection. Their IG advertisements kept popping up so I finally decided to check out the store and I was not disappointed. First of all - the store is located at Union Square and has an amazing view of the square, I came during Christmas and the tree looked so beautiful. Their service could not be better. I bought a backpack that was for a trip but the trip got cancelled so I went to return the product. They could not be nicer. A few months later, I returned just to see what was new and fell in love with their half moon bag and coasters. You can get everything monogrammed and I took advantage of that. So in love.

Ellie L.

Yelp
Beautiful items and wonderful customer service. Remi at the shop in Union Square went above and beyond to be incredibly helpful. I was only visiting the country for a few days, but Remi was very flexible in getting items ready and monogrammed for me and great with help and advice for my visit. Excellent service!

Yelp
Major issues with quality control on monogramming... I have been a cuyana customer for years and own dozens of products, in addition to items I have gifted to friends and family. I recently ordered a card holder and when it arrived, the monogramming was not consistently pressed throughout and was much heavier on the top than the bottom of the letters. I contacted them and wait weeks for them to send me a new one (which is a birthday gift - now very late). They sent me a new one and it looks WAY worse than the original! I truly cannot believe that their "quality control department" allowed this product to leave their facility. Baffling.... A few years ago I had a similar issue with a wallet that I ordered from them when the monogramming flaked off. I contacted their customer service and they suggested that I sent the wallet back to them to "restamp" the monogramming. When they sent it back to me, it wasn't lined up correctly and looked like the monogramming had a "shadow" or a terrible print job that didn't accurately line up. Terrible!

Natalie G.

Yelp
I've own these two travel cases for a few years and rarely used them. When I went into the shop for another item, I expressed my concerns with the sales associate and she let me know that other consumers had experience the same problem with their travel cases and I can come back for a an exchange as long as my information was on file. I came back and that was not true. Cuyana wants to promote good quality but it's not. Some how the monogram is in great condition but the bags are shedding inside.

Christine B.

Yelp
This show room is nice. It's in Union Square so if you go around Christmas time you have a great view of the tree and ice skating. They have most items they sell available to look at, but not all. Also, they do monogramming right there which is nice. I enjoy it because I like to see the size of a bag or accessory in person, if I can. The staff is always friendly and helpful when I've stopped in. You have to buzz yourself up at the intercom outside the building and then head up to the second floor.

Marie D.

Yelp
I agree with the philosophy of Cuyana, products that are "fewer, better" and I do love the price point and the "simple, elegant"designs. I had a quality problem with a product and was amazed at the customer service I received- top notch! I felt Cuyana went above and beyond and quickly issued me a store credit so I was able to replace my bag. The two salespeople in the SF store were outstanding, super friendly, helpful and very customer oriented- was a pleasure. Thank you!

Arminda D.

Yelp
I ordered a tote bag a few weeks ago. The bag was damaged. I reached out to customer service and they sent a replacement, which was also damaged. I reached out to customer service three times: crickets is all i got. Products are well priced, but maybe due to low quality? Live and learn. ***Since I wrote this review, Cuyana customer service reached out to me and replaced the second bag. I am not sure why the previous emails didn't make it thru. But whatever the reason, they fixed the problem and that's all that matters. and the bag is great. :)

Kirsty W.

Yelp
I got one of the tote bags and they looked great on the website, but when it arrived it was in a small box and had been folded over, leaving really noticeable creases and indents. I realise that with use leather bags like this will crease and folds will appear, but I don't expect it to arrive creased just because they don't use a big enough box. When I reached out to their customer service they gave me a variety of tips to look after leather, none of which I expect to have to do with a brand new $300 handbag! They also said they don't consider the bag to be damaged, and that as it's mongrammed I can't return it. So what should be a lovely new handbag, looks like one I've had for years and is a bit battered. Really disappointing. Stay clear of Cuyana is my advice, especially for delivery.

Amy A.

Yelp
I've been a long time Cuyana customer due to the quality of their items and the helpfulness of their staff. I've visiting their San Francisco showroom on multiple occasions and have always felt it to be an exceptional shopping experience. Due to the pandemic, my shopping has been all online (for obvious reasons). I needed a different size and was able to work with Jackie to get what I needed. I found her to be extremely personable and on top of things! If you've never purchased from Cuyana before, do! Their handbags are soft, durable, and I love the customization options available. Their clothes are among the softest I have ever felt and have withstood the test of time. Thank you for making such high quality products and having incredible people supporting your customers!

Kaitlan W.

Yelp
I was wooed by Cuyana's brilliant marketing and tagline of "fewer, better things" as I've always believed in quality over quantity. However, I purchased their Ponte Legging Pant and the seams came unravelled after just one wear. They happily replaced them, but the same issue happened with the second pair. I have a hard time getting on board with their other products as it seems quality is indeed an issue. It's pretty ironic they boast about the quality of their products when so many have reported otherwise. I love their style and design but won't be making another purchase. I did give them an extra star for their customer service which was great, but not enough to make up for pricey products that fall apart.

B. Abigail Stewart S.

Yelp
I'm incredibly disappointed that I spent way too much on a handbag that now peels on the inside, so much so that it got into my makeup! The quality of their products certainly do not match their price point. The handbag I purchased online came folded up in a box leaving a crease across both sides of the bag. I purchased an extremely poorly constructed sweater (in store) that was sewn uneven, the shoulder width was completely different on both sides, not to mention it came apart after wearing it once, not after washing, but after wearing it for just a couple of hours. Their solution was to send me another sweater when I wanted a refund, mind you it had only been a few days, why would I want another cheaply made garment as a replacement? The pretentious demeanor of their staff was also unfavorable. Their store is tiny, the sales rep literally went out of their way to not acknowledging my presence. Today, I was prompted to check out their glass door job review, after seeing back and forth post on their instagram account between the CEO and an unhappy consumer, apparently the company is in shambles. Does the CEO really have time to go back and forth with a consumer when she can't even get her sales reps to greet customers? I'm ashamed to have ever recommended this brand, I regret supporting what I thought was quality, instead I wasted a lot of time and money. I'm hoping to at least be able to let this merch go on poshmark. Good riddance.

Terry W.

Yelp
The exact type of leather needed when traveling. Pockets and inserts for files, laptop, wallet and makeup. Very pleased with the quality.

Andrea H.

Yelp
They were very nice when I sent pics of the damaged product. Unfortunately it's folded to fit inside a small box to ship. Seems silly when the fix/solution would be so simple.

Kami M.

Yelp
Best sales staff ever! It's a really neat store, with a great view of union square. Everyone is very warm and welcoming, I feel like I could stay for a while. It's well stocked and they've always offered to order me anything that wasn't available. Very high quality products and high quality people, thanks for all your help!

Aimee T.

Yelp
I love the quality of the clothing here as well as the Italian leather handbags. I had the opportunity to stop by here during my recent trip to San Francisco where I picked up some Pima cotton pjs. They are unbelievably soft. I also got a pita cotton back drape dress. And got my bag embroidered. The service was amazing and I can't wait to come back.

Serena L.

Yelp
Since my first purchase of Cuyana's original tote I have picked up a few additional items. Although I enjoy Cuyana's products, I haven't been thrilled to visit their store. A few other reviewers have also mentioned that it's hard to tell who the sales associates are and I totally agree. The several times that I have visited I have noticed the same. No one greets you when you come in. Rarely do people ask you if you need help. A lot of the SA's stand around and talk to each other. I had visited for a store event and the store was overwhelming packed and I had questions on a few products but I wandered around looking for someone to help me but had a hard time identifying who worked there. When I found someone to help me, the SA kept turning around to talk to her chatty coworkers. I just bought my item and got out there. I was in yesterday and it was not very busy but I had another similar experience. No one greeted us when we came in and I was just wandering around until I found someone to help me. Mind you the store is tiny. I made my purchase and although I love my items I really wish there was a bigger push to better the customer service. The SA's are just kind of "blah." It's like they're really just there to ring you up. They don't engage in conversation, they don't ask you about your purchase. They just accept your money and move onto the next customer. It's December so people are buying a lot of gifts for the holidays. I asked if they were doing anything special as far as gift wrapping. Nothing. They said they could wrap my gift in a box for $6. No thanks. Retailers all around are offering exceptional gift wrapping services for free. Again, I enjoy Cuyana's products but their service in store can really use some work. I will really have to consider shopping here again.

Lauren W.

Yelp
I called their toll free # on the website looking for help on an item. The woman that answered just said her name, I wasn't sure if I called the wrong company or not.. when I asked about an item she was very vague and gave me no details. Their customer service isn't so great. Via email- they get back to you pretty fast. Wish they were more helpful. Love their products..

Stephanie T.

Yelp
I stopped by the showroom while visiting San Fransisco. I live in NYC so I wanted to be able to touch and try out the products in person. I decided on the small carryall tote in sable. In 5 minutes I was also able to have it monogrammed for an extra $10. I've been using it for a little less than a month. It's my everyday bag. I finished out my vacation in Montana with it. I use it everyday for work and even on the weekend. The leather holds well. Although I noticed while in Montana some damage to the leather. After awhile though when I look at it again I don't really notice anything because of the pebble leather. It holds a great deal of items but still remains light. I love it! I would recommend purchasing basic leather care products to keep it in tip top shape:) I like leather spa products. I tired on some of the clothing. I didn't like the fit for my body type. I did get to try and feel the materials of the scarves and love them as well. My next purchase will be the lightweight cashmere scarf. What I like is about the light weight scarf is it feels versatile. I think some people would agree when you try on a scarf you can tell how many seasons you could wear it. I could see myself wearing it during any season depending on how much I wrap it.

Nina A.

Yelp
I've bought a couple bags from Cuyana and received my third one Today and the box was falling apart. Has a relabel sticker on it and I'm Glad my bag wasn't lost or damaged. It could be fedex tossing it around while it's on the way to me. But pls pack it better maybe more tape around it to secure the box??

Petra S.

Yelp
Best investment. I purchased two pre loved bags and I absolutely adore the quality and craftsmanship. Thank you for making luxury affordable.

H. G.

Yelp
One salesgirl gave me bad information: she told me that a bag that I had asked to see in red didn't come in red. It does come in red. They were just out of stock. Another one kept interrupting me when I tried to describe two bags that I wanted to see. She needs to learn that it makes it easier to help a customer if you keep your mouth shut and listen to what the customer is trying to tell you. I looked at the mini tassel bag. The zipper didn't go around the top corner smoothly. The manager tried to excuse it by saying something to the effect that it was a very tight corner. I have a few other similar bags ranging in quality from Bottega to DSW and I've had still others over the years. I've never seen a zipper that was installed so badly. I asked to speak to the manager. I gave her details of the conversations with the two salesgirls. She listened. First she offered me a free monogram for the aggravation. She upped it to 10% off and free shipping. I'd gone in planning to do some shopping. I had wanted to see first-hand some of the products that I'd liked online. I expected to buy a couple of things. Thanks to the terrible sales support I left empty-handed. I doubt that I'll bother with Cuyana products again.

Natalia K.

Yelp
Rude unhelpful sales representative. I wouldn't go there even for a bathroom use. Never experienced anything like it in US for a past few decades.

Jon B.

Yelp
The purse that I purchased had clearly been folded improperly in storage or shipped improperly. One end was completely wrinkled. Would not recommend!

t d.

Yelp
This location is on the 2nd floor...go inside and take the stairs or elevator. It's very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful items. I purchased a zip tote to secure my things on plane rides for day trips. Since I just purchased it I can't address the durability or functionality. It looks beautiful and the leather is of a substantial thickness while still lightweight. I get Madewell totes and bags for my daughter but I wanted something a little nicer like Cuyana's.

Karin W.

Yelp
Very sad to write this, as the products look great and the sales staff (at least in the Prince Street store in NYC) are lovely. It's been less than a month and a half since I bought the small backpack, matching wallet and fringed keychain in blush, so it's too soon to be experiencing the wear symptoms other commenters have noted, but - the snap on the backpack is so weak that even when the bag is less than 1/3 full, it pops open at random - great for pickpockets: a Cuyana backpack is NOT safe to wear on public transit anywhere! Just going back & forth from bag to coat pocket in a month, one of the leather fringes came off the keychain. This stuff is pretty but not very well made. For longevity & durability, look elsewhere.

L E.

Yelp
Three months ago, I ordered three pieces from their Pima cotton loungewear collection: a camisole, a pair of shorts and a pair of pants. Sadly, I am disappointed in the quality. I ordered all three items in the blush color and, while two of them were roughly the same shade of blush, the third was not. The pants and shorts were also very sheer. Despite following the care instructions on the label, the material started to pill after only two months of wear, especially the slightly thicker material of the camisole. The gold on the slide adjusters on the camisole had also completely come off. Cuyana has a lovely aesthetic and a great brand concept. However, as stated by other reviewers, it's ironic that they advertise their products as superior quality when this isn't the case. Granted, they haven't fallen apart, but I don't know if I will want to use them much longer and they are not in good enough condition to donate. Thus, it's likely that they will end up being thrown out soon and new products bought elsewhere as a replacement, which is the antithesis of the brand's stated purpose: fewer, better things. Also, I will not be ordering anything else from them in the future as a result of this experience. Other reviewers have received replacement items after leaving poor reviews on yelp. While it's great that Cuyana has responsive customer service, I would much rather have received good-quality items in the first place. I wouldn't want another set of clothing that will pill in three months time.

Bella L.

Yelp
I will no longer shop at Cuyana, except to use up the store credit I have from returning my gold shimmer crossbody bag from Holiday 2014. I used it for an event in January 2015, put it away in the dustbag, and when I went to pull it out for a wedding the gold-tone metal clasp on the front of the bag and the inside zipper had turned straight up orange, like Donald Trump cheeto spraytan orange. I e-mailed customer service and they said this was the first they've heard of their hardware tarnishing, but they were willing to let me return the bag for store credit. Two years later I'm still trying to use up my store credit, which is linked to my account so I can't even give it away. I bought a merino infinity scarf and it's pretty nice and not scratchy, but every time I see a new handbag release I look at the gold-tone hardware on the bags and wonder if it's going to tarnish into an ugly orange.

Tiffany L.

Yelp
I was introduced to this store by my coworker who had a lovely tote from this SF based store. The more that I learned about the company, the more I fell in love with it! I especially loved Cuyana's philosophy of "fewer, better things." This past year I've changed my lifestyle to live this way and it has been the most amazing change! I have downsized my collection of bags to just a few essentials with my favorites coming from Cuyana. My favorite purchases were Classic Leather tote in deep clay and the crossbody pouch in classic black. I have done both online and in-store purchases & so here are my tips: TIP1: If you haven't been to their store events, you should definitely check it out! If you catch a good event, there will be a ton of free stuff that i know all the yelp elites love - free monogramming, drinks, manicures, hair pampering, style tips, and more! Not going to lie, I even got a recommendation for hair stylists for my upcoming wedding... haha! :X TIP2: Go to their website and add yourself to the email list for special promotions. The store doesn't have that many sales since their product is so decently priced anyway. But for deal-hunters, email newsletter is a must! TIP3: I forgot to mention that their store is super cute & is the best-kept secret in union square. i've lived in SF for 5 years walking right by it everyday and had no idea it was there. When you visit, it's located on the upper floor - so it looks like you're entering to an office space almost. look up for the Cuyana orange flags. Cuyana - You've been my favorite discovery last year & I will definitely keep coming back for more!

Tony M.

Yelp
Awful awful quality. I bought the Classic Weekender bag about a month ago for $200 and the metal connector for the strap broke on just the second use! I was on vacation and had to lug it around by the handles for the rest of the trip. Stay away! You can find much higher quality products at a better price point.

Mabel E.

Yelp
The best Tote bag I ever had! I bought the System tote and I will look for more styles to come. I definitely buy more Cuyana products!

Natalie C.

Yelp
I recently went in to buy a bag which I like okay. I wish I had looked more places as I think I could have found something I like even more for what I paid. My experience was really mediocre. No one greeted me or really asked if they could help. Everyone except one woman were very wrapped up with what they were doing- which was not helping customers. I'm in no rush to go back.

Sarah W.

Yelp
The store is so gorgeous and their products are such nice quality and ethically made! The moon bag is such a beautiful design- classic and timeless. The staff in the shop are so friendly and helpful, I definitely recommend! I love their cause and how supportive they are of the manufacturers of their products.

Julie F.

Yelp
This review is for the Cuyana pop up in Soho. Visited recently as I was hesitant to order from the website without actually seeing the bags and clothing in person. Was also unsure of sizing and wanted to a few things on. So glad the pop up is still open. I ended up purchasing a tote & had it monogrammed on the spot. I love that it is lightweight & simple but sturdy. I also purchased the silk ruffle top - what a great piece for any wardrobe. I want to purchase it black as well! Overall, was pleased with the selection & have my eye on a few more pieces. The ladies working at Cuyana were lovely and helpful - not pretentious in any way. I missed the holiday pop up in Chicago over the holidays so hope they will continue opening pop ups.

Jessica D.

Yelp
I love Cuyana! Finally got a chance to visit their SF flagship store and was so pleasantly surprised. It was a welcoming friendly experience and so casual - not like a dreaded retail experience, more like I had just stopped in to see some friends. The quality of their pieces is wonderful, and It was especially cool to see new colors for leather goods that were just released the previous day, as well as idea boards and the monogramming process firsthand. I only have a few pieces, but will always go back for more when I "need" something. The only problem for them is that their clothes are so well made we hardly need to buy more than one of each!

Renat S.

Yelp
I want to give 5 stars to the customer service as it was just stellar. After I posted my review, I was contacted by costumer services and they immediately took it upon themselves to remedy the situation.

K C.

Yelp
My problem with Cuyana occurred 2 years ago. I purchased an item which was excellent. Subsequently, I was offered a $40 account credit for filling out a survey. I received a confirmation of the account credit. At a point prior to the expiration of the credit, I tried to use it. I was told that it was no longer valid. I received this explanation: "We had to change the expiration date of the codes due to an operational change and I am unable to extend the code. I'm sorry for the inconvenience." The obnoxiousness of this company is breathtaking!

Doireann N.

Yelp
Purchased the structured cinch bag. I've used it lightly for just a few months. The hardware on the interior has failed and some of the gold details have faded to silver. So I'm left with a mix of silver and gold hardware on the strap..not a good look. Very dissapointed in the quality. I expected much more for a $300 bag. I've emailed support requesting a full refund. Im not interested in a replacement. Cuyana is overpriced Crapana.

Yelp
I ordered the small boho purse as a gift for my friend, only to view Yelp AFTER I ordered it, seeing many bad reviews about the quality of Cuyana products. I was worried about my order but I had already paid. A week later I was walking with my friend and her new purse fell off her shoulder. She quickly grabbed it and embarrassedly admitted that it had fallen off her shoulder four times already. I was the embarrassed one, and immediately decided to return the purse. The metal clasp had a loose screw, and while Cuyana was willing to 'fix' it with some sort of cohesive, I found it appalling that a $200 purse required 'glue' within one week of purchase. I am only giving 2 stars because they were very responsive over email and the return was made successfully. Beautiful website, but wow, get your quality under control. There are an astounding number of bad reviews on here!!!

Yelp
Update: Cuyana commented on my yelp review that I should email them about my bag, but I actually already have (twice in the past three weeks!) and haven't received a response. I should have mentioned that in my original review. So, thanks for reaching out Cuyana, but your customer service appears to be as poor as your craftsmanship. I really wish I could write a better review!

Yelp
I love my new zipper tote from Cuyana. It's beautiful, smells amazing, has so much room and it even survived my first work week in NYC like a pro. It's quickly become one of my favorite purchases. It was my first purchase from Cuyana but it definitely won't be might last. I love it!!

Yelp
Bought a Le Sud overnight bag - within a day, the zipper had broken. Worse, I was unfortunately stuck with that bag as my only luggage for the next three weeks. Had to deal with a bag that would take half an hour and many attempts to zip up, yet would still split apart at any moment. Super stressful while traveling, and really a bummer on my trip. I was so excited to try out Cuyana products and was willing to shell out the $$$ for them ($200+ is not cheap for a mostly canvas bag), but I am super disappointed and let down. Please check the quality of your goods if you're going to tote a company motto that's advocating for "better things". What I bought this time was really no better than a $30 tote from Target. Also, the stiff leather shoulder straps were really uncomfortable and often dug into my arm. Furthermore, customer service wanted me to just mail in the bag to get the zipper fixed. Who has the time to go through the hassle of repackaging and mailing in a bag, waiting to just get the zipper replaced, and waiting for it to come back? Lol no thanks.

Yelp
No Customer Service + a really snotty attitude by a salesgirl = I will never shop there again! My husband and I bought my daughter a bag at this store. It wasn't her style but she found one she liked. We went into the store on Friday, May 5 to exchange the unused bag in the original packaging for the bag she liked. The salesgirl treated us like we were looking for a handout. Ultimately, she told us she would only exchange for a floor model. We not only took the floor model but wanted to buy another bag and she told us the same thing, that she only had a floor model of that bag. No apology. No attempt to be helpful. Her attitude was terrible and she made very little attempt to accommodate us. There are many merchants of fashionable bags who take customer service seriously. There's no reason to go back to this store.

Yelp
I have ordered a number of items from Cuyana and have always been happy with their clothing and bags. I had a problem with a blouse that was on sale, it was too big and I needed to exchange it for a smaller size. I spoke to Jackie on the phone and we continued the conversation via email. Cuyana and Jackie made exchange; the customer care was excellent and prompt. Thank You Jackie!

Yelp
I love my newly monogrammed Cuyana bag! Golly, it's so soft that I can sleep on it if it's fluffed up with a jacket inside. The product is great plus they are doing something for a good cause. The catch though on the other hand is the service. It's definitely lacking in that department. The sales person was not very friendly. When we walked in, no one really greeted us. She looked at us and judged us a little and then went on and help the other customers. I understand there are other people, but definitely not welcoming. I knew what I wanted so I just ask her to get a new one and it's monogrammed and we're good to go. At the end of the day, maybe it's extremely hot and it's been a long day for her. I work in customer service, I get it. But if there's one thing to make a customer more welcome, let's try to put a smile on our faces. On the other hand, air conditioning in that office might help as well. Because this brand have a good cause behind it, and the leather is so softttt. I am likely going to be back. ALSO!! THEY ARE OPEN ON MONDAY! Don't trust yelp on this one!

Yelp
After denting my absolute fav Panama hat I luckily stumbled upon Cuyana's online store. They had a gorgeous hat for $85-but, I was unsure of what size to go with and they didn't provide details of the brim width. I'm a fussy hat buyer and have quite a collection of fedoras and cashmere beanies. I emailed on the weekend, not expecting a reply until Monday, yet surprisingly, got a very nice return email from Jackie. Thank you Jackie-you rock! Your size suggestion was spot on, the hat is outstanding, and you're customer service should be emulated by other retailers. Now, I can stay cool while looking cool again.

Yelp
i was very interested in buying one of their plain totes, so i made it a point to feel some samples before ordering online. So glad I did because it just wasn't meant to be, even though they photograph beautifully in the Cuyana website and fashion blogs. . I think the Cuyana totes were softer than the ones at Madewell. Unfortunately, I predicted that I'd beat up and kill their totes, since I schlep around a lot of heavy crap in my current totes. Sometimes even gallon milk jugs if I don't have enough reusable grocery bags. The salespeople were nice enough. The showroom is on the second floor of the office building next to Swarovski. My eye doctor is a few floors up. Wish Everlane had a showroom because I am thinking of trying the Petra magazine...
