Cuzco Peruvian Cuisine

Let me start off with saying this place left me in awe of the delicious homey food. You can taste Peru from Atlanta, GA. Every dish was made with love and passion to help customers understand the delicacy of Peru in every bite. My husband is American and was blown away with the flavor. We have eaten at Picsco here in Atlanta and nothing compares to this. I was born in Peru and raised with Peruvian culture and food. The tamal was so nostalgic for me because it was just like my mother's. “Arroz chaufa De carne” was exquisite too. The haincaina sauce wow! Done to perfection and paired it with “salchi papa” and “chicha morada”. We also got coffee and yummy! My husband got “arroz con mariscos” paired it with Peruvian hot sauce “aji limo and guacatay” and “aji De rocoto” and we finalized it with “picarones” y la miel 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 Ingrid our waitress is such a lovely charismatic lady. She was so informative about every dish and went above and beyond with her service. Very hospitable and I can't recommend this place enough! If someone complains about this place in the reviews they are just “karens” who find anything to critique because they didn't get their way. Cuzco Peruvian cuisine holds a special place with our family and will be a place to always come to. Support this restaurant, give it a chance and it will NOT disappoint 😌💕

Wow! I went in on Christmas Eve after a long day. We were greeted kindly and sat at our table. We ordered and our waitress was very thorough ensuring that we got everything we wanted. I tried the chicha morada and my partner tried the soursop juice. Both were amazing! We started with the Trio Ceviche and a side of tostones. Literally blow away 🔥 each one was delicious, but the pepper and the original were our faves. The fish was fresh and whoever cut those onions is a magician of some sort. I’ve seen thicker sheets of paper 😲 For our entrees we got fish and a creamy sauce with mixto seafood. The fish is huge and was fried to perfection. The salad was also great. The creamy seafood sauce dish was overall good, but I wasn’t a fan of the creamy sauce. It had a taste that I just couldn’t get down with. Lastly, we had the most incredible service. She checked in on us after she bought each dish and made sure we were good and enjoying. I can’t wait to return and try more from this restaurant.

It was a pleasure to come to this Peruvian restaurants for the first time celebrating our 22nd anniversary, Our server Rosa was so kind and sweet that even recommend some dishes to tryout. The food was delicious.. we ordered more then we can eat but no regrets. We recommend everyone to come out and enjoy this wonderful food. Till next time

Absolutely loved the atmosphere at Cuzco and the food was wonderful, especially the picarones. They were so fresh and perfectly cooked! Rosa was our waitress and she was so friendly and very attentive! Will definitely go back!

We were a big group and Rosa took excellent care of us! I was impressed all the orders came out right about the same time and everything was just right. The anticuchos and ceviche and arroz con pollo and the sopa a la minuta were all excellent. I wanted to cry tears of happiness when I tasted the picarones! Can’t wait to return to try all the other options on the menu that we didn’t get to try tonight.

The food was delicious! Very well seasoned and authentic Peruvian cuisine. Jordy was an awesome waiter- very friendly, welcoming and attentive! We enjoyed the fish ceviche, lomo saltado, and the fresh juices (the passion fruit ans soursop were amazing). 100% recommend.

Small place, giant in flavor and customer service. Great atmosphere. I ordered the ceviche mixto, it was delicious, make sure to say “not too spicy “ 😂, my husband ordered Lomo salteado it was great also. The chicha morada was perfect 👌. I will comeback definitely 👍🏼

We went to Cuzco for Peruvian cuisine craving during lunch and we are hooked. I tried Peruvian meals long ago and miss the flavors. First, we love the cute llama that is perfect for photo op. We tried few things and we love the Ceviche Carretillero, Anticuchos, Arroz con Pollo, . creamy Tallarin Verde and surprisingly their fried rice is the best! And we love the chicha morada.

I was craving Peruvian food. I work in Lima and this legit hit the spot. Very authentic and the service was impeccable.

I was craving lomo saltado so I decided to check them out. They have about 3-4 different options for lomo saltado. You can get it classic, "a lo rico" style with plantains and eggs, or with tacu tacu. Though I love tacu tacu I decided to get it "a lo rico" based off the waitresses recommendation. It was definitely so tasty! I also ordered a mango juice which tasted delicious. The restaurant was clean and beautiful with many pictures of the landscape of Peru. The servers were also super friendly and warm. I will definitely be back whenever I crave Peruvian food again.

The place is cute with its Cusco, Peru vibe. Staff is amazing, sweet and attentive as well as fast. I like the vibe and appreciate the vast menu. Our food was ok. Definitely not bad food but Ai feel like I've had better peruvian dishes. The Seco de Res was soft and flavorful but our mondonguito was really tough and the fried yuca with Huancaina needed more Huancaina sauce. I liked the pieces of fruit in the chicha and the tapado was tasty but a little dry. Not knocking it away completely but would need to try their other dishes. It's about 3.7 in stars if we could do that.

Having heard about this place from a few friends, I was excited to finally try them. Parking was easy as well as getting a seat. Historically, I was told that they can't take some time with completing the orders. So I try to place our orders as soon as we could. We got the Trio Marino for dinner and the Torta de chocolate for dessert. Our waiter had told us that the entrée was big enough to share for two, but we found that it was more of a 1.5 serving size and that it would've been perfect if we got one other dish as a side. I really like the ceviche in that it was fresh and zesty. Calamari was good, but was not served with a dipping sauce. Seafood rice was also tasty but slightly under seasoned. Cake was sweet and very decadent. Overall, we had a good time. It's a cute, local, family owned establishment. Staff were nice and I would like to come again!

I finally got the chance to try this restaurant and I'm so glad I did! The staff have great customer service, they're kind, helpful and friendly. Service was quick and food came on time. I got a Ceviche de pescado and it was delicious, very tasty, I love that this Peruvian version of ceviche mixes sweet potato, crunchy corn, soft corn, there are too many flavors and it was great. Size wise I think it's perfect, enough for 1 person or 2 if they want to share another item on the menu. I also ordered Maduros/sweet plantains that were pretty good as well. And I love guanábana so that's what I got as a drink. I definitely recommend this place, ambience is casual and feels cozy and you will find authentic Latin American flavors.

This evening we stopped by Cuzco for dinner. It is a small place on Buford Highway with bright tablecloths and a cheery dining room. The staff are polite and happy to answer questions. I has the lomo saltado and it was very good but very filling. I was hoping to try one of the desserts but simply had no room!

Great new place on Buford. I love Peruvian and this food is fresh and delicious! I had the trio of ceviches. It was amazing and definitely big enough for 2-3 people. Chaufa de mariscos which is rice with seafood- so yummy Pescado de sutado - large delicious portion. Good service and casual vibe. We will be back.

Very delicious food and amazing ceviche! We ordered both the leche de Tigre and the trio de ceviches, tallarin verde, and bistec a la parilla. Our waitress , Ingrid, provided excellent service and checked on our table several times. She brought extra plates, utensils and napkins and made sure we had everything we needed. We look forward to coming back and trying other items on their menu.

I loved our welcoming to the restaurant by our waiter JORDY! He was very nice and helpful. Our food was very delicious from our appetizers to our dinner plates which were what was expected. We actually travelled 2 hours from Columbus to Atlanta just to eat a delicious Peruvian cuisine since we were celebrating my daughter's birthday. What made it even more special was how they made my daughter feel so happy with her being sang Happy Birthday and given a birthday slice of cake with a candle. The ambience was very nice and family Oriented and they're friendly. We were even taken a picture with the alpacas in the Photo Booth decor. I would definitely plan to go there again soon and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Peruvian food!

The restaurant has definitely been upgraded since the last time I visited. Some of the decor has changed, it's a step in the right direction though the drop-down ceilings still make it feel a bit unfinished. You can tell they're working on it. The food was genuinely good. It was flavorful, well-prepared, and nicely presented. It felt like care went into both the taste and the plating. The service was solid too. Our server was friendly, attentive, and professional without being overbearing. The chicha and the fresh juices were a highlight, refreshing and delicious! Just a heads-up: avoid using the QR code to pay. It wasn't working properly, so you're better off paying at the register with a card or cash.

Restaurant is decorated so beautifully for Valentine's Day. Very clean and cozy as well. Our waitress Rosa is very welcome, kind and helpful. We love the food we ordered. Super delicious. Such a nice experience and enjoyed everything!

Ordered takeout, so maybe that was the problem, but I was really disappointed. The fried yuca was mushy and overpriced for a few sad pieces. The side of beans was quite salty to my taste, and the arroz chaufa, though edible, was very one-note. Maybe it's better when you eat-in?

Was excited to come & support since in my part of town there are no Latin American restaurant options (other than Mexican). Took the family on a 1hr drive. It is a family friendly restaurant with an extensive menu and pretty good price point. (Ample free parking by the way). Was seated right away. It took a few moments for menus but it seems there is just 1 server who is taking orders clearing tables and bringing out food so bring some patience with you. Being Peruvian I am particular about the cut of meat used in my lomo saltado & I was happy they had chosen a premium tender not chewy meat. All were happy with there choices and no food was left behind. We were excited to order dessert- picarones however they ran out of it & tried for the maracuya cheesecake and they were out of that as well. Overall I would return and give it another try!!

Food was okay. I ordered a ceviche and my husband ordered the lomo saltado. We ordered at 2:00 and my ceviche didn't come out until 3:10. As if you even had to cook a ceviche. My husband got tired of waiting and ended up telling the waiter to cancel the order. The waiter didn't even apologize for the delay. My father and my grandmother have still not received their food and it is currently 3:30. Probably won't be coming back. Very unfortunate because I love supporting Peruvian restaurants. After my father complained a few times they finally apologized and brought us a papa a la huancaina for free and my husband's food for free too. Glad they ended up taking responsibility. Update: they gave us chocoflan after we paid and apologized again. I added a star. Maybe I will come back.

AMAZING PERUVIAN FOOD. honestly the best in atlanta probably. they start you off with tostado and is reallyyyy good!! our server was super nice! the food is amazing and tastes very fresh. presentation on our ice cream was very cute. we had an amazing time

Wonderful service with Rosa. The food was excellent and very good value. We enjoyed the ocopa appetizer, the chirra drink, and the breaded fish with sautéed veggies, rice and potatoes. Delish. Fun atmosphere too!

I had an AWESOME dinner at Cuzco on Buford Hwy. I LOVE all Peruvian food, but in particular this time I tried the Parihuela. It was extraordinary and will be ordering it some more. Jordy was awesome, he was super attentive, professional, and we had a great conversation. I totally recommend him and hope to visit again. Thanks Cuzco and Jordy...!!!

Cusco was amazing. Very well decorated and the food was delicious. The anticuchos totally transported me back to Peru as a child. Ceviche was so refreshing. Everything, everything was good and Jesus, our waiter, was very knowledgeable and charismatic!

I tried Peruvian food for the first time here and was thrilled with the experience! We ordered Ají de Gallina, Lomo Saltado, and Ceviche Mixto. Everything was fantastic. We were served a complementary appetizer of the puffed maíz with an incredible ají verde sauce. Note - that sauce pairs very well with the creamy and mild Ají de Gallina. Service was prompt and attentive, the restaurant was relaxing and clean with pretty decor and plenty of parking.

We've been to Cuzco on several occasions and had a wonderful experience each time. The wait staff was incredibly helpful, warm, and knowledgeable about the menu. The pictures and decor brought so much culture to the space----we felt like we walked right into the city of Cuzco! The food was delicious --- we particularly enjoyed the calamari, the ceviche, the fresh juices, the lomo saltado, with lots of vegetarian options. We can't wait to come back!

Peruvian food is one of my favorites and I was very impressed with the Ceviche and Yucca that's what we had for lunch and it was delicious and the service was great too. I will be trying dinner there soon.

Excellent experience! I never had Peruvian food and our waitress suggested the Tallarina a la Huancaina con Lomo Salgado and it did not disappoint! Creamy pasta with Asian inspired beef made for a wonderful fusion. So filling!

Food was bland. No flavor. Ordered the diced chicken and rice. Literally nothing was seasoned well. Paid for it ($25) took two bites and threw my food away. Not sure who used to own this location but their food was better.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Cuzco's Peruvian Cuisine was by far one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had, and frankly, it's astonishing that this place is still in business. Let's start with the basics: the food. I ordered a simple, traditional Peruvian dish expecting something warm, flavorful, and authentic. Instead, what I received was cold, undercooked, and not even the dish I ordered. When I pointed out the mistake, I was met with eye rolls and passive shrugs from the staff instead of an apology or a solution. No urgency. No care. No accountability. The customer service? Atrocious. Our server vanished for most of the meal, and when we finally flagged someone down, they acted like we were the inconvenience. No one checked on our table. No one offered to fix the mistake. Not a single apology for the cold food or the botched order. The attitude from the staff made the experience feel more like a punishment than a meal. And this isn't an isolated incident. Friends of mine have also complained about long wait times, incorrect orders, and even finding hair in their food. It's clear this restaurant has absolutely no standards when it comes to quality or service. Between the inedible food, the rude and inattentive staff, and the overall lack of professionalism, this place is a disaster. If management doesn't completely overhaul how this restaurant is run, it won't be long before word of mouth shuts it down entirely. Save your time, your money, and your sanity--do not eat here.

I was able to visit Cuzco for the first time this week and was fully immersed into the beautifully curated experience. The decor is a nod to the restaurant's roots, with delightful notes of gold and landscapes of Peru. The service was welcoming and warmly patient explaining the diverse menu items, accommodating those of us who could eat the whole menu and even my friend who was vegetarian. Now, the food. I haven't stopped thinking about the ceviche starter with the most luxurious light sauce that brightened the fresh seafood and never paused being passed around the table for all to enjoy. There were immediate smiles on everyone's face in anticipation for the following dishes after this standard had been set. The Peruvian Pilsner was a perfect summer beverage served in an ice cold mug, a necessary addition on a hot summer day. The rice dishes were full of flavor and the meats all came out perfectly cooked. I enjoyed the most luxurious seafood soup, stuffed to the brim with calamari/shrimp/fish/mussels and a full crab! The broth was light and seasoned in a way that felt familiar but unique. We finished the meal with the Picarones, which were all the right amounts of sweet, savory and perfectly fried. Cuzco was my first experience with Peruvian cuisine and now it is a place that I plan to bring everyone I know to experience the rich flavors, kind people and overall beautiful experience!

Delicious food. First time here and it won't be our last. All the food was fresh and incredible. Highly recommend if you're wanting to eat authentic Peruvian food.

My wife is Peruvian and ever since I first tasted their food, I fell in love with her even more since the food was so good. Needless to say, whenever a new Peruvian restaurant opens, we will most definitely visit. Unfortunately this visit was subpar. Location is typical as any near or on Buford highway. Upon arriving one of the first things I look for in any restaurant in their DPH score. 77 while not the worst definitely not great either. It seems as there is no central AC working either as a large evaporator was near front door and a large industrial floor fan was near the hallway between kitchen and dining room. Our meal consisted of Ceviche (pescado), Aji de Gallina, and Seco. Portion on ceviche although small was consistent with average pricing around Atlanta. Flavor and texture was average with nothing that stood out. Seco, this was my wife's plate. Although she said the flavor was decent the dryness due to prior day(s) cooking and reheating was unpleasant. My dish was Aji de Gallina. This is my favorite Peruvian dish; I learned how to prepare and cook it and have tried it at every peruvian restaurant I have ever been. As with the Seco the chicken had obviously been cooked day(s) prior as reheating took out all the moisture. As far as the flavor...NONE, I have never tasted such a bland dish in all my life as this one that was served to me. It was a struggle to fight through every bite as we were both hungry purposely eating a light breakfast with thoughts of a flavorful reward for lunch. We did have thoughts prior to try picarones, but due to such a downfall on quality of food we decided to head up the street to Mozart bakery for a consistent flavorful experience for dessert. As far as the overall ambience and cleanliness of restaurant it was good. However, I fear it may only be due to its early stages. Service was typical of any restaurant on how you interact, only downfall was tipping/included gratuity that should be expressed by server. Wife and and I discussed whether it should warrant a return maybe catching them on a bad day, but due to the combination of all we agreed to move on and never look back. Also, please pay attention to your bill. 15% gratuity is already added for 2 guests. We paid by card and our server presented us a remote POS station already on the tip(additional) screen.

Excellent dinner, and Patty helped us pick out some great choices. We started with cops and a pork tamale - delicious! We shared an entree of Tallarin a la Huancaina con Lomo Saltado, and it was the winner of the evening. Thank you for a great first Peruvian dinner experience.

My experience at Cuzco was truly gratifying, out of all the peruvian restaurants this has been the best one. It's so hard to find authentic peruvian food here but this is really close. Se sintió como estar en casa un ratito. Don't hesitate trying this place!! Special thanks to our waiter Billy! He was so nice and helpful! Gracias!!!!

Great, authentic food. Awesome atmosphere with live music on a Saturday night! Several of my group had had Peruvian food before, and several of us never had. All left saying we'd be coming back! They cater too- gonna use them for our office!

Everything was amazing. The nicest and most helpful staff ever. They made wonderful suggestions as this was our first time trying Peruvian food. And everything was great and reasonably priced. Will definitely get the pollo saltado again. We will be back for sure!!
