I would like to share an experience I had with the pharmacy manager, Jessica Flores. Without disclosing my medical history, I required a prescription that was clearly visible in the system, including the prescribing history and confirmation that my doctor had called it in earlier that day.
This medication is essential for me; without it, I experience severe dizziness and nausea. When I explained the urgency of my situation, Ms. Flores responded with a dismissive and nonchalant attitude, stating that I needed to handle the matter with my doctor and that there was nothing she could do to assist.
As a result, I was left to manage a debilitating condition on my own, without guidance, empathy, or any effort to explore possible solutions. This experience stood in stark contrast to the traditional role of a neighborhood pharmacist—someone who advocates for and cares about the well-being of their community.
Unfortunately, this interaction demonstrated a concerning lack of compassion and empathy, qualities that are essential in a healthcare setting.
