"CVS locations around Oregon are offering COVID-19 vaccines, depending on availability. CVS’s online portal allows you to click on your state and will automatically search to see if there are any appointments available in your given location." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

This review is of the corporate entity of CVS, not this individual store. But I cannot recommend anyone choose "CVS" as a pharmacy because of its terrible, nonperforming technology (app or online) and its lack of the standard, telephone line renewal every pharmacy has. After switching to a new Part D Medicare plan for RXs, I tried CVS as a preferred pharmacy...the prices weren't much better and I was constantly bombarded with communications to renew, order from their mail-order pharmacy...everything but smooth, simple refills.

The pharmacist at this location is the rudest I have ever encountered at any pharmacy. I have literally not been in once where this hasn't happened. I don't know what's wrong with this woman but if definitely doesn't make anyone who goes in there feel good. She needs another profession...

i don't appreciate being treated like an inconvenience by the big backed pink haired lady, it was pretty odd considering that it is there job to help others. All i asked for was for someone to unlock something for me and they rolled their eyes and threw their head back, then grabbed the item i selected and hurried to the front without saying a word to me, i had to clarify myself if I should get it when i checkout. Unless you are not being paid, the public expect and deserve better customer service.

CVS corporate needs to step in and fix the mess this pharmacy has become. I understand people are trying but they need help.

I purchased an expensive item at CVS tonight and the employee who assisted me helped me use coupons to significantly bring the pricing down! She was kind, helpful and very caring. She deserves all the accolades she can get. Thank you!

I used to get my Rx’s filled at another pharmacy located within a popular grocery store chain for convenience (one-stop shopping), but it has turned into a nightmare in recent years (long wait times, medications often out of stock when needed the most, rude pharmacy clerks, no one ever available to answer the phone when you call, etc.). Enter CVS… Came here for the first time a few months ago out of sheer necessity because my usual pharmacy could not fill a Rx that I badly needed for at least several more days, even though I was very sick. CVS not only had the medication in stock, but was able to have it ready for pickup in less than an hour. I have since learned that this was not just a one-off, but rather my usual experience whenever I come in. I hate to spill the beans, because I feel like this pharmacy is my own personal “hidden gem” in Lake Oswego, tucked away in the corner just for me whenever the need should arise. So I almost don’t want to blow their cover. But alas. they are genuinely too good at what they do not to give them a fair shout out. Lovely pharmacists who are not only helpful but actually smile and say hello, hardly ever a line when I’ve gone by to pick up a Rx (and even then, I’ve never waited for more than a couple of mins tops), always a live person available to answer the phone when I call, and most medications I’ve needed have been in stock and filled and ready for pickup within the same hour they are called in by the prescriber. So at a time when going to the pharmacy is usually ranked up there by most people with getting a root canal or having a tooth pulled (btw, I also have a good dentist I can recommend if you actually need one), this CVS location gets a solid 5 out of 5 in my opinion!

These clowns sent me a message telling me I was available for a list of vaccines. I am 41 and about to go on a cruise. So naturally I was looking to get a Covid booster. When I drove the 45 minutes out to the location I was told I was not 65 therefore not eligible. They have had ample time to cancel my appointment, I even got a check in confirmation the day off. They knew how old I was. They knew I was coming for a Covid shot. CVS web department please make it so nobody under 65 is getting notifications that there are vaccines available. Bottom line I should not have been able to make an appointment if it’s against the CDC guidelines and all you are doing is taking appointment space from Senior Citizens by letting the rest of us waste our time. Way to waste appointment opportunities and allow the vaccines to expire. It’s shameful and I’m contacting corporate.

Yelp
Calling all Haribo lovers! Yes, I know what you're thinking - Haribo and CVS . . . what? Okay, here is the thing - I love Haribo. I prefer the European versions, but those are hard to get unless you want to pay exorbitant prices to resellers on Amazon. Alright, enough of the protracted salvo--the CVS Lake Grove location has one of the best selections of Haribo's I have found in the Portland area--novelty Haribo, like the Harry Potter lineup, and standby favorites, like Starmix. It's a nice lineup of gummy perfection. I admit that a review that is solely based on one product line in a store, is not much of a review. But hear me out--I know other Haribo aficionados are out there. We are constantly on the lookout for caches. We need to spread the word when we find a depot. Look no further; the CVS in Lakegrove is Haribo heaven (at least on this side of the Atlantic).

Yelp
This CVS is large, light filled and well stocked but the overall design was not user friendly. There didn't seem to be a rational to how the footprint was arranged and I really had to search for items. I stopped in to pick up some protein bars, but the in store price was more than double the online price, so I did a catch and release. Grappled a few other items since I was there and was on my way. Plenty of parking right out front.

Yelp
Very clean store. I use the pharmacy mostly and the staff handles the large volume of prescriptions very well. Overall the store looks stocked and taken care of in general. Any of the small medical items I have needed were available. As a local store it does the job.

Yelp
Why is the pharmacy closed? No advance notice and I had an important prescription to pick up. Disappointed.

Yelp
Complaint about CVS as a whole, not the staff in LO. CVS will NOT allow you to talk with a pharmacist via phone by waiting. The only option is the leave a voicemail and hope they call back, or dial 911 if an emergency. This is the "How can we not help you today" model. Push customers to chat bots and automated self help, don't invest in people to help customers! Incidentally, I left a message the CVS did not call me back it act on my request within an hour. The whole system is BS.

Yelp
This CVS is SO much better than the cramped Rite Aid down the street. They have a good selection of health related goods and the overall atmosphere is spacious and clean. The pharmacy is very good and they do immunizations as well. Head pharmacist Shazia Zafar is very pleasant. They will do legwork to find you discounts on drugs.

Yelp
This CVS is the best EVER. Everyone is so helpful, and I feel so fortunate to have this as MY pharmacy. The pharmacy manager, Shazia Zafar, goes above and beyond for her patrons. She is so very kind and always has a smile. I recommend this store highly.

Yelp
This place and the head pharmacist is impressive! She has everyone working together to get the job done and sitting here watching her lead her crew like a pro made me want to write this review!

Yelp
Twice now I've had this pharmacy fill the incorrect number of pills for an Rx. Example- the doc prescribes a medication with the following directions- take one pill twice a day for ten days. Then I get a bottle of ten pills. It's a major problem if the pharmacist or the techs can't do basic math. Once is a mistake. Twice is a medical liability.

Yelp
CVS allowed for a vaccine appointment to be scheduled for a flu and COVID shot. When I arrived they said "we meant to call you but we don't have COVID vaccines nor do we accept providence insurance so the cost of the flu vaccine would be $68." Complete waste of time

Yelp
CVS at Mercantile Village is low on service and knowledgeable employees and high in prices. The pharmacy is disorganized and sends out incorrect refill information. For a recent prescription it took 6 days to fill, pick up/ready time was when the pharmacy was closed and the following day the store did not open till 10. We were headed out on a trip and we're unable to wait. As I typed this a message came CVS saying I could pick it up now (9:20 am) but we were just there and store does not open till 10. Avoid this store and pharmacy.
