Oh wow!! I truly LOVE the folks who work at my local CVS (Mendocino Ave. Santa Rosa, California). They're absolutely wonderful, and they ALWAYS go above and beyond whenever I need help fixing an issue. And the ladies are sweeter than warm molasses on a cold winter mornin'!! You couldn't PAY ME to switch Pharmacies. And they certainly deserve to get BIG raises!!

Make sure to check every medication every single time before leaving the counter. I was prescribed a new dose of a medication, specifically requested the new dose at the counter, waited a few days for it to come in, then received the previous dose. Had to pay for the correct dose out of pocket which came to over $1000. The pharmacist also threw an absolute tantrum with wild and medically dangerous arguments such as, "You took the old dose for a long time, why would it be a problem now".

Today afternoon I went to the this pharmacy to pick up medicine for customers and then deliver it to them. I met very strange workers who works there. The first white woman didn't call me but told another customer who is behind me to get the medicine first. The second was a black man with a yellow jacket who took my iPhone away and hid it into the cabinet for a long time without reach it for me. I wanted to get my phone back, but he insulted me and pointed his finger at my face and told me to get out there. I was very angry and called the police to ask them to solve this problem but they told me to complain to their manager . I made calls but no one answered. I don't understand why these two people are crazy and why they are so rude and unreasonable, but this is my job. I may often go to any CVS store of locations. I don't want to call the police every time, but I have no choice in this situation. I am really afraid that he will steal my phone and not return it to me. This phone is very expensive. Although sometimes I can't make call but I pay for it every month. A dog bite me at Jan 25th 6pm. The next day I went to this pharmacy. The pharmacist treated on me very quickly and gave me a vaccine shot and pain relief pill. They helped me call the medical center for apply cover. They could have passed this buck but They didn't do. They paid lots of patience and look like my family people. I took off the fear after then. I'm very very appreciate for them. They have high efficiency and warm love to customer.

Personnel was more than a little bit un informed about location of inventory. Would not honor medical insurance to cover cost of covid tests. Which most major pharmacies will offer an honor the medical insurance I guess I could say is courteous but not very aware or helpful.

Just switched prescription from Walgreens on Marlow to this CVS and am very pleased. Pharmacy customer service is great. So very happy, can't complain about anything I've experienced.

They are NOT open til 11pm. I hate it when store hours are wrong. Time = $ and gas=lots of $. It should be open if the hours of operation that are posted in several different places say that it is open.

If I could give CVS negative stars, I would rent a backhoe, dig into the Earth's crust, and bury this place in a fiery pit next to failed Blockbusters and dial-up internet. I walked into this CVS--if you can call it that. It felt more like a haunted Walgreens knockoff that gave up halfway through becoming a store. Completely empty. No music. No customers. No joy. Just one lone cashier moving at the speed of continental drift and radiating the warmth of a DMV employee on their last nerve. All I wanted was a box of Mike and Ike's. A humble, sugary escape. Instead, I got a full-blown psychological thriller. I ask for a receipt. You know, the normal kind that proves you bought something in case the candy turns out to be possessed. The cashier stared at me like I'd requested a kidney. Then said: "We're not doing that." Excuse me? You're not... doing receipts? What is this, Fight Club Pharmacy Edition? I left with my Mike and Ike's, no receipt, and a deep sense of existential dread. I don't even LIKE Mike and Ike's that much. I just wanted to remember what happiness tasted like. Never going back. This CVS is where hope goes to die.

The Pharmacist is out ride rude. After filling the same prescription twice over last few months today he decides cause the name is different on my wife's Insurance card and Id he wasn't gonna fill it."Fix it". Said it was a DEA thing cause of controlled substance fine,should of said that on first time filling. Had no problem filling an opiate with those names before but today said today his judgment tells him no even though twice before on same drug.Said sometimes his judgement wrong. Not a professional. Rude nasty man.

Super rude pharmacy tech, she had zero customer service. I was told my prescription would be ready by 4pm for pick up, it's insulin so it's my life support! When I showed up at 6 pm she said it wasn't in stock and when I asked her why I didn't get a message or any warning that they didn't have any she blamed the computer system and said she has no control over that and they are too busy to be worrying about calling people. She was rude and had a "not my problem" attitude. Go somewhere else! Apparently the computer system is in charge of your care and not the actual workers.

This CVS location and 4th st. CVS is the reason I moved 6 family members to the other big pharmacy. hire more staff... stop cutting costs on labor because you're losing wayyyyyyy more money than you'd be spending on extra staff. today is my last time at CVS!

The place was extremely dirty! I asked if they ever cleaned it because it was my second time in that location more than a week apart. They told me their vacuum was broken, and they're so understaffed they rarely have time when it was working.

Really frustrating experience on a Sunday. Sick and from out of town. Doctor called pharmacy, the voice mail box was full and he had to call again. Pharmacy person said it would be about an hour and a half once they received it. i got a text the prescription had been received at 12:30 (doc spoke to someone around 11:20) but with the lunch break, prescription still not filled at 2:30.... I know they are busy, but feel like the work flow should have been better. The clerk tending the line is the one needing to fulfill the prescriptions. so.... know to expect significant delays if you come here.

Despicable, horrendous, beware! A medication my mom needed immediately was sent to the wretched, filthy and completely unprofessional Mendocino Ave location today at 4pm but the pharmacy employees, an older man, and a younger dark haired man refused to help us with it, they said they didn't have her prescription. This attempted pick up was after 6:30pm, the prescription was sent at 4pm and I am certain of this fact as because not one but two Sutter Doctors confirmed that it had been sent. Not to mention the complete lack of customer service and lack of care or compassion, the conditions at this cvs were unacceptable, flies everywhere, no masks on a sickly coughing, hacking apparently homeless guy at the counter and female laying on the floor. This is the Santa Rosa no one wants to experience, this is unacceptable in so many ways. I will blame the cvs on Mendocino for an unnecessary night of suffering on my moms behalf.

hardworking staff, work very hard to help fill hundreds of prescriptions daily. The drive through window is very convenient. health care has a terrible shortage of staff everywhere. Despite being short staffed and overwhelmed with tons of orders for medications these pharmacists and pharmacy technicians do their best ti help us all. Thank you.

The fact that I'm leaving a yelp review for a CVS should say how atrocious this place is. I know it's a CVS. I know customer service isn't going to be like a Hermes store. The CVS store employees were fine; not anything spectacular but respectful to say the least. The pharmacy, however, is a total different story. I'd rather take a single kick to my gentleman's plums than go through this pharmacy again. Girl working the front: total sequoia tree trunk of her @$$. Pharmacist who's name starts with R: took 25 minutes to fill one prescription. Kept getting distracted helping others later in line, and also had a total sequoia tree trunk up his @$$. Keep in mind we got notified the prescription is filled and ready for pickup when we came. The biggest problem of it all is neither wore masks while working. And girl in the front was coughing up a smokers lung. Absolutely disgusting. For the love of Denzel Washington movies please CVS close down this location, for the sake of humanity and all that is good.

I didn't think to check Yelp before going ..and I wish I had. This place looks like it's about to fold. I was picking up a prescription at the pharmacy and there was only one person working. The entire time I was there I could hear the phone ringing for the pharmacy.

I had an appointment for a drive through COVID test at 3:50 this afternoon. I arrived 15 minutes early, with 4 cars in front of me. 30 minutes later (15 minutes after my appointment) I had not moved an inch! I tried calling CVS twice but just got stuck in automatic phone hell. I left, as it was obvious this would have taken hours. Never again going to this CVS. I should have looked at Yelp before making the appointment, as my experience seems to be the norm.

Pharmacist was rude and condescending and quoted a California law that was in error. I read him the law exactly as worded by the State of California including the law date of passage. Then he said the way he ran the pharmacy was at his discretion then changed his reply and blamed his inadequacy on CVS policy. The issue in question was filling a prescription sent in electronically by an out of state doctor, specifically a Mayo Clinic physician.

Probably the most angry rude group of Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians I have ever encountered. Just because you're short staffed doesn't mean you have to yell at people and try to penalize them. If I was cvs corporate I would be embarrassed by the customer service. It's not that hard to just be nice people.

Poor service. I print my photos here. There was a problem with the print of two of my photos and I asked if I could have a re-do. Short little supervisor with braids (I'm thinking ) with an attitude came over and said "you have to pay for them." She proceeded to walk and way and said "did you hear me?" The poor girl who was helping me was nice and I commend her positive customer service attitude. The other, not so much. Rude much. Please don't hire people with such a chip on their shoulder.

This CVS store is disgusting!!! Very dirty inside and unorganized. There is trash all over on the floors in most isles. The shelves are very disorganized and low to no products. This store needs serious management overhaul... I will not be back at this store. It was such a mess I just walked out.

I haven't set foot in a CVS for years but I needed 1 item this morning. The checkout line had 12 people waiting. There were 2 registers but one of them was the Manager dealing with a customer issue for the whole time I was in line. The other cashier was super slow. Needless to say, it took about 15 minutes to pay for my item. Horrible service as they clearly lacked qualified employees to open up a 3rd register. I will not be returning.

This is one of the worst CVS locations I have been to from the start with trash, garbage piles and broken glass in the parking lot. Terrible customer service and many items are out of stock. When my husband asked the manager why they are showing as 'in-stock' online, he said there is so much theft, he has just given up. Won't be visiting this location anymore as the pharmacy seems to also have long delays getting medications.

Beware of this CVS. The staff is extremely rude in the pharmacy. They have no concept of how to help very sick patients counting on their medications. They are extremely judgmental, and could care less about the patients they serve. They do not stock their store, its always a mess, which reflects the type of staff they have. The store manager is very young, dies not have any concept of dealing with rude staff, and helping a sick patient. Very passive aggressive. Go someplace else if you want to be treated properly. They get one star, because I had to give one star for review. They deserve no stars:

I had an covid test scheduled to travel at 3.15 pam . Process start and the pharmacist clerk was unable to solve a problem for printing . Try to call assistance .. They let me go without after 2 hours , haven t been tested. No apologies, nothing . The staff is so useless and unpleasant . Please don t stop there . I put a star because I can t do less

First thing is the place is filthy. I am required to get my prescriptions here because of my insurance, and every time I come, the carpet in front of the pharmacy looks like it hasn't been vacuumed in weeks. Second, twice, I've gotten emails that my prescriptions were ready, but when I arrived, they weren't even in stock. And third, when they don't have something, somehow it's always my fault for not calling, not checking online, or something else. I really hate coming here.

The staff is terrible and the customer service is trash! Ordered photos online and it said it would be ready in one hour and at the latest by the end of the day. I never received an email so I went in to pick up my stuff (3 hours later) and it was never even acknowledged! The girl said only one employee knew how to use the new printer so I needed to call back in two or three days. After I left, I received an email that it was ready... not the case... I went back in to cancel the order and the woman at the register (Elizabeth) said, "I'll make a note of it." We all know that won't happen. Definitely won't be going in there again, for anything. Get a real staff that knows what they're doing.

0 stars. This is the worst pharmacy in Sonoma county. I waited 25 minutes on hold to be hung up on. Their drive thru isn't open and the pharmacists have been rude every time I have to go here. I'm switching all of my prescriptions to Walgreens. Beware of rude staff, long wait times, and prescriptions not ready after you receive the text stating they are.

Oh my God. So they offer free "delivery" for prescriptions which is the only reason I gave them my business. By free delivery, they mean that THEY MAIL them to you! Can you f*****g believe that? Supposedly 24/48 hour shipping but with Santa Rosa Post office it MIGHT show up next Friday. And why would I wait HOPEFULLY 2 days to get my prescription. It's Friday. 2 From today means 4 days because there is no mail on Sunday. So now I have to go through the drive through. Also, their website is shite, and locked me out so I couldn't order other meds to go with my prescription so the 2nd girl I spoke to recommended that she connect me with the manager. He lied and said there wasn't a manager on duty and that his name was Joel. His name was Matthew. The same "manager" who emailed me, blaiming the 1 new employee who was in the store when it got robbed while I was there, for the store getting robbed and for his own incompetence in not hiring security. Hope someone doesn't put a gun to my head while I'm waiting in my car. Seriously. That's how safe this store maintains itself. They lost their best guy Glen, who was with them since Long's Drugs owned the store. Hopefully Matthew will run this location into the ground and the new renter will buy it and clean up all the vomit, human feces and urine that you have to walk through to get inside.

I would never come back here. I took their covid test before my Hawaii trip, that was guaranteed to come back in 48 hours, and it came back 8 days later!! I lost 140 bucks on that test that they refused to refund. Not only that-there were no instructions given on how to perform the test, and when I asked about it - the cashier just closed the window on me. If you want a reliable testing site, I'd suggest going elsewhere.

The pharmacy is ridiculously not able to be efficient and is not service oriented. I hate having to pick up medication there and there is one staff member that is just unfriendly and rude .I was the second one in line in the drive up window and when it was my turn some one came over to the computer at the drive up window stood there for 3 minutes and they walked away, At this point I had been there for 15 minutes so I just drove off with out my medication

Wow, just went there today. After purchasing over $25 worth of stuff, I went back in to use the restroom. The restrooms for the customers was locked. I went to the Pharmacy and asked for the key. They said the Restrooms were closed and wouldn't give me the key. I will NOT be using or visiting this location again. It's no wonder they have received the reviews they have!

Find another store. Poor service and LONG lines for pharmacy all the time. Clerk lost my extra care card on the conveyor belt - and was not able / willing to provide me with any help. No temporary card, not application for a new one - nothing ! So I did not buy the products because I could not get sale price. She was very unhelpful.

I have been using this pharmacy for years but feel that it may be time to break up. I chose this pharmacy due to the drive up window. I am nowhere near lazy however, when picking up prescriptions for sick children, or ill myself, the last thing that I want to do is lug the youngsters inside. The drive up window is now closed 90% of the time and that does not work for my family. I also feel that the staff is either unhappy or they are seriously understaffed. I have not seen any of them smile in a very long time, which is sad. I am always left hoping that their employer steps up and takes better care of them.

Why are you price gouging people? Walmart in Windsor ran out and since this is so desperately needed the fee of five times the amount Walmart charges had to be paid.

Just here to say kudos to the caring pharmacist who filled my three prescriptions 20 minutes before the 6 pm closing time on Saturday! She is my hero as I drove from Windsor where the CVS pharmacy closes at 5 pm on Saturday. My husband was released from the emergency room at Sutter Hospital 2 hours prior with prescriptions written for an antibiotic and pain meds he truly needed asap. Sadly I have to cut this rating by a star for the pharmacy clerk who did her best to drive me away at 20 minutes to closing time. She clearly did not want to help me but had to oblige when the pharmacist said she could do it! The clerk had to angrily order me not to wander away from the area so they could get me checked out and gone by 6 pm! She really really wanted out of there on time! Actually it was more like 27 minutes to closing but she was shaving down the minutes with her stalling and lying like it was a sports game rather than a person's health at stake. But the pharmacist won this round and CVS should be proud of her!

This pharmacy provided the worst experience I have ever had. On a Thursday, my doctor faxed my prescription over to be filled, so I called to check if it was ready and the staff told me they never received anything. This saga continued for the next six days -- I went without a medication that I HAVE TO HAVE for six days. The pharmacy DID get my prescription, but they refused to fill it saying that my Dr. did not have the rights to prescribe the medication (WHAT?! I started seeing this doctor for the sole reason that he is licensed to prescribe this medication). After going back and forth between the Dr. and the pharmacy for those six days, the Pharmacist kept telling my doctor that they had everything they needed and would go ahead and fill it. After he had these conversations with the pharmacy staff, my doctor would then call me to relay to that it would be ready and I could go pick it up. I even talked to a staff member of the pharmacy who confirmed that my prescription would be ready and I could pick it up after work. Guess what!? When I showed up they told me they couldn't fill it. By now, I had 3 different people at my doctor's office working on this case trying to get this filled for me. We finally decided to go with another pharmacy in town. It took one day to get it called in, approved, and picked up with absolutely NO issues.

The reviews of the pharmacy are spot on. This place is terrible. My sister has a chronic health issue that prevents her from leaving the house. Her friend tried to pick up her important prescription after the pharmacy said it was available. When the friend got there, she had to wait in line for a very long time only to be rudely told that the prescription was not ready. I am out of town so tried to arrange a delivery. The pharmacy said that Instacart could pick up prescription but after three tries I was told that they don't work with Instacart. When I called again, I spoke to a very rude person who didn't acknowledge that they had provided incorrect information. When I asked about delivery (which their website says they do), I was told that they didn't do that. She was angry from the start of the conversation and cut me off repeatedly. They are rude and incompetent and clearly don't care about the health of their customers. This is really not acceptable.

This is one of the better chain drug stores in town now, which is not saying much. We always get our prescriptions at Tuttle's and this store is far worse than it used to be when it was Longs. After CVS took over Longs, the selection and quality went down drastically and they made the store's character and feel far less pleasant and far cheaper, in part by putting in cruddy indoor-outdoor carpet and replacing all the old shelves with short ones.

First time in this store today; probably my last. Went to use the bathroom before shopping but both were disgustingly dirty! Dirty socks on the floor of one!? Diaper changing table with baby (?) poop on it. Sh*t all over the other bathroom. Both had not been cleaned in the recent past. From other reviews the manager isn't responsive so good thing I didn't have the time to lodge a complaint. I imagine the employees use these bathrooms too? Ewww! I just left...
