This place is the sauna of your dreams. It is the perfect place to enjoy Finnish sauna and have beautiful panoramic views of Mt. Fuji. The staff are friendly and helpful. My friends and I enjoyed our 2.5 hours here refreshing. The lounge area is the perfect place to watch the sun set during winter. Ticket prices also come with drink and dessert. I would love to come back someday!

The place is awesome and well situated. It is clean and comfortable. The sauna is way hotter than all the saunas that I tried before and my guess is that they want you to stay a short time. Upstairs is great and they offer a variety of drinks ( not very appealing). The desert is great and good quality but you can only have one little one. The downside is that the crew is not friendly or nice, the opposite of all places we visited in Japan for almost a month. Overall a nice place with great views, a little courtesy and that place could be perfect. Btw, that ask you for a review but they said that any comments about the service will be erased or banned… so what is the point to ask if you just want to hear the good things that you already know?

We visited this place as two European men. From the outside, the building looks quite futuristic and is beautifully designed. Once inside, it quickly becomes clear how cramped everything is. You’re obligated to take off your shoes at the entrance, but there isn’t really any space or seating to do so. There are separate changing rooms for men and women, where you’ll also find the lockers and a sink. These rooms are small and constantly quite busy. You’re required to wear swimwear, and no bathrobe is provided. It’s not possible to go from the sauna to the upper observation deck without taking off your wet swim trunks and getting fully dressed again. Sauna culture in Japan is modest, so keep that in mind. I recommend doing a few sauna rounds downstairs first and finishing with the view at the top. Although the room was very humid and all the windows were fogged up, so there wasn’t very much to see. The sauna itself is of good quality and gets properly hot. Unfortunately, wearing slippers inside is not allowed. With all the water and the mats in the changing rooms, it feels a bit unhygienic. Also note that Japanese people tend to talk a lot and quite loudly in the sauna, so true relaxation isn’t really possible. All in all, it was a fun experience and we were able to enjoy the warmth. Relaxing wasn’t exactly the case, but I think if you adjust your expectations, it can still be quite enjoyable.

There’s only a mixed sauna (small and crowded with men chatting, kind of disturbing if you are going alone) and a cold plunge (the temperature is too cold to get in, no one is using it the entire time I was there). You have to pay for swimsuit rental and shower with the swimsuit on. Outdoor area has good view but the chairs are rusted and have no instruction for using them. The service and amenities don’t match the price and description. Not a comfortable place for relaxation and scenic viewing. Okay if you are just taking pictures (watch out for many people on second floor). Staff is rude.

We were a little late for our booking due to traffic. After quickly finishing the sauna, we wanted to go to the second floor for the dessert included in the price. However, the staff didn’t allow us access and became very rude. We understand the importance of timekeeping, but this didn’t seem like the usual way to serve people. The sauna was okay, but the staff made the experience uncomfortable. Despite our rush, it ironically took five minutes for the staff to give us an introduction, which was stated in the booking. He then wouldn’t allow us to spend even a minute on the second floor.

A beautiful sauna with modern and minimalistic architecture located by Lake Yamanaka. Though small, it is very well-organized and offers a comfortable experience. On sunny days, you can enjoy a stunning view from the lounge on the second floor.

Beautiful sauna and a must visit. Breathtaking scenery and a very cool sauna and cold plunge. The staff were very helpful as we spoke very little Japanese. We felt very lucky to catch a clear view of Mt. Fuji!

I am traveler, my first time in shizuoka. I went by the lake shore and saw a building that looks amazing, i thought i was a coffee shop. I decided to buy some. When me and my daughter walks into the shop, a staff suddenly rushed out and told us to leave. He said that this is a sauna, i realized that this is the wrong place and apologized to him and stepped back outside.however,he kept aggressively chasing after us, speaking in a harsh and dismissive tone, repeatedly shouting at my child and me to get out right away! I was truly shocked, as this is not the kind of behavior I would expect from Japanese people!my 9-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter were very upset by his attitude!we couldn’t understand what was happening to make the staff behave so aggressively, especially with children present! Especially my daughter-she insisted on going home inmediately because she was so disappointed !although I haven’t experienced the service here , I will never come back!
