[Takeout] 7/10 Can’t say anything about the atmosphere or service, but the pork banh mi was very solid, a great option for corporate dinner. Super flavorful and the bread was soft enough but still crunchy so my mouth didn’t hurt when I bit into it. Generous amounts of pork, along with crunchy vegetable, created the perfect bite.

We came here for lunch right when they opened and they filled up quickly! I suggest coming here when you’re really hungry, as the portions are very generous. We had the Clay Pot Beef Stew and the Spring Roll Vermicelli Noodle Salad and would recommend both. Ingredients were fresh. Staff was very polite and attentive. Atmosphere inside was cozy. A new favorite spot in the neighborhood! They have indoor and outdoor seating.

I don't write reviews (Google, you need to allow anonymous reviews or using just initials), but this is the best Vietnamese spot in New York. Great beef pho (very deep rich taste, on the quite peppery side, careful). Never had this open faced style "banh mi op la" from their weekend special menu, it was delicious.

Came here for the pho which I was craving. Had the pho ga, i.e., pho chicken. It was bad -- I very much disliked it, who knows, maybe even hated it. The pho noodles were alright, the broth was meh, but.... Oh boy the chicken, the chicken was just terrible. I highly suspected the chicken was simply reused from a different dish, meaning, it was made primarily for a different dish, and then they just used it in the pho. The chicken in true chicken pho is only lightly marinated, if at all. But this chicken was rather strongly marinated, too salty, and overall just had a flavor profile that did not belong in chicken pho. To a point where it seeped into the broth, thereby also kind of ruining the broth. Furthermore, it was dry -- yes it was in pho soup but still -- and kind of crumbly. Honestly if someone strongly claimed that this was just Costco rotisserie chicken I probably would have believed them. Yes, there was a lot of chicken! More than the pho noodles! In retrospect, it is probably a red flag! I ate all the noodles, and left just about 80% of the chicken (and took a photo). This was _unprecedented_ 🤣 -- I almost always leave nothing behind from a bowl of pho 🤣, and sometimes just the broth if there's too much of it. Overall the pho was kind of a 1.5 ⭐ for me. The summer roll with shrimp was meh, at best 3 ⭐ -- though I've become accustomed to meh 3 ⭐ summer/spring rolls in unauthentic Vietnamese restaurants. Is this place authentic? I don't know and also don't care because I don't have a reason to come back anyway lol So putting the two together, they kind of averaged out to a 2 ⭐.

Amazing and authentic food, ton of flavor and huge portion. Really nice staff and the happy hour deals are everyday. I would go just for cheap drinks alone! Ambiance is clean

Talk about hidden gem in LIC. Tucked away in the side street of 47th Ave. I know some of you are thinking, perhaps I was the one that’s been living under a rock for the past 7 years. Guess what, better late than never. Lemongrass grilled pork chop is first and foremost, dare I say authentically Viet: tender, sweet and flavorful. The pineapple salad on the side packed a hint of zing that is subtle yet appetizing. Servers were attentive and casually swung by my table every now and then. Will bring my kids and wife next time!

Cyclo is a Thai owned Vietnamese Restaurant. Customer service was minimum. I ordered one plate of Shrimp and Corn Fritters as well as a bowl of Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Breast Vermicelli Noodle Salad. Each dish was enjoyable from the crisp exterior of the fritters to the mint in the noodle salad which complimented the char grilled juicy chicken breast. Though, the veggies under the fritters tasted much better when combined with the nước mắm chấm sauce in the vermicelli bowl and the chicken definitely could have used more lemongrass as well as more fried shallots on top. The food leaned slightly more salty and savory. Lime citrus and any spices were mild. In regards to flavor palate, it would accommodate a wide range of guests. When it came to dessert, there were a few options. I chose one called, Bittersweet: fried dough sticks, vanilla ice cream, and Vietnamese coffee. I wished the fried dough sticks were not crisp all the way through. It would have been better to have some chewiness on the inside to help soak up the coffee and ice cream.

The food looks good but taste is not that great. Drinks and atmosphere i would come back here for but i would def get viet food somewhere else.
