Cygnet Japanese Diner

Wow talk about delicious value for money! We ordered a number of main meals along with entrees and some sushi rolls. Everything tasted excellent and the meal sizes were perfect. Honestly the best restaurant food in the valley and the prices are so affordable! This is going to be our weekly eatery visit I reckon.

What a wonderful surprise to find rhis charming little place right here on the main street . Love the incongruity of eating classic Japanese cuisine accompanied by country music. Hopefully this is captured in the videos . You know a place is good when the shop next door gets their lunch here . The nice fella even delivers it to them. My ramen was very nice indeed with that divine after taste that inky good ramen gives. As you can see by the before and after photos I really enjoyed every last bit of the ramen. While the serving seemed small it was a deceptively filling meal. Shame the place closes at 6.30pm but I guess one could get an early dinner here or perhaps get takeaway. Very satisfying lunch.

Great if you want an already made sushi from their glass display cabinet. For food off the menu the service and cooking times are incredibly slow. Serving sizes for Agadashi Tofu and Karage chicken are very small. Ramen was nice.

The owner is the real deal here. Always happy for a chat but usually busy churning out the exceptional ramen. The vegetable tempura is a winner too. Wait times may blow out a bit, because chef is doing it all to an excellent standard,.but you will not be let down by the quality of cooking when it arrives. The price for the food quality here is amazing too.

Our favourite vegan ramen place! Food is incredible, and the service is second to none. So hardworking and polite and always greets you with a huge smile! Please do not change a thing! We LOVE your little space!!!

Food was amazing, just got back from Japan and wasn't expecting it to be that good, but we were wrong it was very delicious. Looked like a Japanese restaurant!

Lovely little restaurant in town. My family had a nice lunch here. We tried Udon, Ramen Sushi Roll, raw salmon and scallops, and chicken burger and chips. All fresh and delicious! Definitely come back:)
