The experience at Cynthia’s was exceptional! A pre-order was done and a reservation made and upon arrival the table was set and we were warmly welcomed. We were encouraged to enjoy photos by the beach before the food was ready. It was ready in a short time to our expectation. We got a good amount of food for the price. The food was fresh and gave a traditional home-style Jamaican appeal. The food was good and she wished us happy birthday with a hug. Friendly lady, good service, good food

Wow we were so happy to find Cynthia’s while staying in the Boston Bay area! We ate incredible Jamaican seafood including lobster, prepared by Cynthia herself, a passionate and talented chef. This ended up being our favorite place to eat on the east side of Jamaica. We celebrated my birthday here and it was a simple yet memorable meal, made special by Cynthia and her kind staff. We were in the area 30 days after hurricane Melissa and the locals have done an awesome job with cleanup. On this side of the island there was hardly any damage and you wouldn’t know there had been a recent hurricane. Our trip was not impacted at all. The Jamaican spirit once again has our hearts and we can’t wait to return.

Lunch at Cynthia's was great. The escoveitch fish with all the fixings. I got veg, breadfruit, callaloo and plantain. Ms Cynthia herself is a darling lady and food done to order is worth the wait

Ate here a a week or so ago and what a meal, I wanted a lobster so Cynthia sent for one just so I could have it. Everything is perfect about her place, the people, the food, the atmosphere... did I mention the people? She came highly recommended from everyone at the villa I was staying so I knew this was the right place to go. Cynthia is like the grandmother you didn't know you had (no, she's not that old either), she made sure i was full and happy when I was finished even though she was busy in the back cooking, just like my own grandma would. Don't hesitate to eat here!

Very relaxed atmosphere, delicious Jamaican food, good size portions. We had grilled lobster with local sides for 4500 JMD. Definitely recommend to visit.

Had lunch and breakfast at Cynthia’s and she didn’t disappoint. Both were group meals, the spread was good and tasty, the kids loved (and finished) their meal too.

So happy to stumble upon this place on a Sunday! Amazing food, even Anthony Bourdain says so! Sundays on Winifred beach are the busy days where locals come to hang out, def more of a local spot than a “tourist” spot. Good music, good vibes, one love.

I truly enjoyed my experience at Cynthia's. Her customer service was great. Called her in the morning and told her what I wanted for breakfast. She had it ready by the time we got there. The food was fresh and delicious. If and when I return to Portland I'll visit again.
