If you are sober - beware!
I sent in a direct message to this establishment but haven't heard back. Wanted to give them the opportunity to respond before posting a review. Times up, sorry!
I let them know if a major issue they had during our visit. Now, for those who are not sober this may not be an issue, but for my husband and I who ARE sober it was a very big deal. We ordered an iced coffee from this establishment which was located within the Denver airport. The coffee was kept in a recycled Tito's bottle. Now, I'm sure this bottle was thoroughly cleaned before using it to store the iced coffee, so that isn't the issue (again, this is an assumption), the issue comes from the fact that this is all done within sight. Coffee is taken out from the fridge, and poured into the cup. As someone who is sober, and has struggled with this addiction (although not nearly as much as many others) the emotional/mental toll this played was unexplainable. I'm sure there are studies on this, but airports are a very difficult, possibly one of the most difficult places, to remain sober.
We did not drink the iced coffee as it went into the trash. There were hints of a flavor I was not entirely sure was not alcohol and could not risk it.
The lemonade and special soda ordered were decent. The Mac and cheese taken to go was also decent. Not great, but not terrible.
The person who took the order seemed like they could careless and would rather not be there. Food took a long time to come out. Had to remind them about the drinks. That's when I had a panic about the iced coffee.
I didn't say anything at the time, this is true. I was simply in shock and unsure how to approach the situation.
