Things to Do in Boston, December 2023 | Eater Boston

"I checked out Dbar’s refreshed menu and warmed up with a pumpkin soup made from local pumpkin from Ward’s Farm in Sharon topped with pumpkin-spice-latte crema and pepitas, and also enjoyed hearty braised-beef barbacoa enchiladas doused with red mole." - Nathan Tavares

Absolutely amazing experience. Lynn and Jeni were calm, polite, and incredibly welcoming from the moment I sat down. Their service felt genuine and effortless, which made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was calming, with a beautiful window view that made the airport feel surprisingly peaceful. The drinks were made perfectly, the food had great presentation, and even the ice was on point (which truly matters!). Everything felt thoughtful and well done. This will be a must-stop for me every single time I visit Colorado. Highly recommend.

Quite honestly, my experience was disappointing. I’ve been a huge fan of the D-bar in Denver. I’ve been supporting you starting your original location. In my experience you used to serve everything extremely fresh and flavorful, with excellent presentation. High attention to detail. I decided to grab a coffee and an avocado toast at the airport location. The one thing I expect on an avocado toast is avocado. It arrived with some greenish slimy spread instead(looked like premade Costco packages) covered up with bagel dressing and unripe tomato slices. Neither flavor, nor texture. Then a server just handed me some plastic silverware. I know you have to find ways to reduce cost, but I know you can do better than that. The coffee was excellent. So was the fresh squeezed orange juice.

We just had a couple of drinks and sandwiches during our layover in Denver and everything was so good. My husband had the chicken and waffle sandwich and I had the chicken salad sandwich. Sabrina and the team were the best. We just got back from Argentina where we were not met with good service and the people treated us poorly, so it was refreshing to have the kindness and good service Sabrina provided. I highly recommend this spot. They also have great deserts but we were too full to try any.

Had high expectations for this place based on Google reviews. I found they did not live up to their current rating of 4.7 stars. I had a chicken and waffle sammy which I find was way overpriced even for an airport restaurant. It was small (waffle is about 3 in. X 3 in. In the pic)and the waffle was unappetizingly soggy. Service was pretty slow. The person working the POS and taking orders seemed overwhelmed. Will probably not return.

Durian was very attentive from the minute I arrived & Analy was super nice & friendly. Analy made my drinks, her service was quick & clean! I’ll be visiting again if I ever find myself in Denver again. 🥰

I love the European feel of this place in the A concourse of DIA. I have been here twice. I noticed lovely service from Durian and Ayala. They are friendly and service oriented with smiles and attention to details. The breakfast sandwich was so satisfying. I shared it with my husband.

I had a very disappointing experience at d bar in Denver Airport. The staff member who helped me was polite and kind, but I didn’t realize until after I ordered that she was visibly sick. She was coughing repeatedly while working, and more concerning, she was handling silverware and food containers while doing so. Because my son is immunocompromised, I asked her not to handle my food any further, and she was understanding about it. However, by that point the damage was already done. I felt uncomfortable and ultimately decided not to eat the food at all because I was worried my containers had already been handled while she was coughing. I understand people get sick, but food service — especially in a busy airport — requires strict hygiene standards. Employees who are actively ill should either be wearing a mask or not be working with food at all. This situation should never happen, and management needs to do better to protect customers’ health. Very disappointed, especially given the prices and expectations of airport dining.

I got the avocado toast this morning. The team was very accommodating with my dietary restrictions and were so pleasant to work with. I truly appreciate them!

Yelp
Great food and service would recommend. Also surprisingly good music. The breakfast sandwich 10/10

Yelp
Amazing desserts and excellent service! It's a must stop at the airport. Caleb was quick, kind, and very friendly.

Yelp
There are fries here! But frankly go for a dessert. Mine looked very sad. Service is pretty speedy. And the to-go section was full of delights. I grabbed a fabulous tiramisu.

Yelp
D Bar is D Bar. Everything tastes great. The staff manages to have fun together and still give great customer service to customers. However, if you're going to eat here, don't get the passion yogurt in the cold case at the front. It's $13.50 while an avocado toast is $10.xx. It was good but not $13.50 good. The $9.xx parm fries are good but eat them onsite or open the lid on the takeaway box.

Yelp
If you're looking for a quick treat before takeoff, D Bar is a must-stop! The chocolate cake is a favorite and sells out fast but no worries - the cupcake version delivers the same rich flavor in a smaller bite. I loved the chocolate gelato and of course, you can sample the gelato. Try raspberry this summer! Highly recommend for anyone needing a pick-me-up or celebrating a special occasion

Yelp
Service was terrific, seating was easy and plenty of outlets for quick charging. I had the Mac and cheese and splurged on grandmas chocolate cake for our treat on the long flight to London. Both were great.

Yelp
The grilled cheese and tomato soup is absolutely delicious!!! The sandwich is grilled to perfection and the soup looks homemade. It is creamy with a hint of spice to it. This is a must try!

Yelp
The original d bar is great. This location, poor customer service and sad food. I ordered the bacon avocado sandwich and it came with two limp greasy pieces of bacon and a slight smearing of avocado. I'm sure their food can be great though, the employee who went on break after my order seemed to enjoy their crispy, substantial bacon avocado sandwich.

Yelp
I have been to D bar in Denver, with great experiences. Today, we stopped at the location in the airport. The woman waiting on us was rude. I wouldn't have bought the items we chose if it weren't for my kids being so excited to try the treats, due to the interaction with the cashier. I felt we were an inconvenience in her day, when I asked two simple questions. Very disappointing interaction.

Yelp
The D Bar is an awesome addition to DIA's Concourse A. The food has been excellent as well as the desserts. The service has been top notch. The ambiance is very relaxed. There's a bar if you want to have a drink before your flight or just hang out and people watch or watch sports on their 2 large TV's. As an airport employee I find myself eating there 3-4 times a week! It's my new " go to " restaurant at DIA! Also, a special shout out to D BAR managers Chris and Cale! They treat me like royalty every time I show up. Keep up the good work!
