D K Bones BBQ

I wanted my buddy from outta town to try some authentic Carolina BBQ today…this was the perfect place. I had a BBQ pork sandwich, collard greens, and Mac n Cheese. It was all phenomenal. The pork was moist, the greens were balanced, and the Mac was smooth. The whole staff was beyond hospitable, the restaurant clean, and they threw in some amazing lemon cake. I’ll be back with more people.

Excellent stuff. 1st timer went in to get food for four (actually 3.5) They don't sell BBQ in bulk???!!!! but they say that will be rectified shortly. I ended up going with a 3 meat combo. Comes with 1 bread (hush puppies or Texas Toast), 2 sides and a dessert. Ribs are automatically included as one meat unless you opt out. I went with chopped BBQ (good), jerk chicken (amazing) and smoked sausage (excellent). I got two extra sides so we had cowboy beans (amazing), slaw (ok), sweet potato casserole (mind-blowingly good) and potato salad (very tasty). The banana pudding was very good I was told. The hush puppies were really good. All in all my party of 4 enjoyed it a lot. This is a takeout operation only. The place is very clean. Sauce is not on meats. I guess you have to ask for sauce. There was none in my bag.

I’m so glad I found this place on my way home. What an amazing sandwich. I stopped by for some lunch for the landscaping crew. I got food for 5 for $70 and that included the tip. Everyone was very friendly, food came out quickly. I got 7 sandwiches, 5 orders of Fried okra and hush puppies. It was plenty of food! I thought I would eat 2 sandwiches, I was mistaken. Hush puppies were delicious as well as the fried okra, but hard to go wrong there. That sandwich though… so good. I had asked for sauce, it is a new place, so I figured I’d give the sauce a try. I had completely forgot about the sauce after taking a bite of this massive sandwich. The pork was plenty juicy, and had just the right amount smoky flavor. After eating half of it I remembered the sauce and put some on to get the experience, the sauce was great, but this sandwich needed nothing. It is take out only, so don’t expect to sit down, but they will let you use the parking lot to eat in your car if need be. I am looking forward to trying more of the menu, especially the rib tips.

If they have the brisket it's a must try. Absolutely phenomenal. The Service was top notch. So if you happen to be in the area make an effort to swing by, it's well worth it

The customer service in this place is outstanding! I felt like I was the owners best friend on my birthday but it was a regular Tuesday. Such kind and thoughtful people. The food was so delicious!! I am going to have to get back down there soon. I just checked and I only live 6 hours away. The sweet potato casserole is worth the return drive not to mention the ribs and that Strawberry Lemon crunch cake. If you are from out of town get a extra side of that sweet potato casserole, my leftovers were even better on day two🤤😋😋

Omg !! The food is BUSSINNNN!!! The service was amazing ! Clean!! 99.5 !!! And those ribs !!! Child 😍 currently eating the sweet potato casserole !

Top tier service. Big portions. Great food. Best $20 I’ve spent on food in High Point. Trust me✅
