D-Resort Sibenik, an SLH Hotel

Absolutely awesome! Beautiful hotel in front of the Adriatic sea. Warm welcome. Beautifuly decorated. Very large room. Has a spa, two outdoors pool and one indoor (but it's not really a pool, more like a huge jacuzzi). Gym, hammam, sauna. Very well located 10 mins from city center and 60 km from Split or Zadar without the turmoil of these cities. Free parking and good breakfast. Only negative thing was that the curtain in the bedroom does not make the room pitch black so if you need total darkness to sleep you won't have it. The balcony with lounge chairs and ashtray is a plus. Overall it was awesome Thanks to the staff for their professionalism and their smile.

This hotel is truly an oasis! We had some of our best meals in Croatia here- don’t miss out on the dinner here. We had a mushroom risotto and the mushrooms were the best mushrooms I’ve had in my life. The cocktails were wonderful- my partner got the best Old Fashion- the bourbon was infused with vanilla and we’re now going to try making it this way at home. The tiramisu was the best and we loved the buffet breakfast. Our room was outstanding with a lovely deck. But my favorite part was the their infinity pool- it was sublime.

Very pleasant stay here. Location very picturesque, safe parking facilities and the staff are absolutely top notch, some of the most friendly of people around and couldn't do enough for us during our stay. We even has a gentleman take us for a ride up to the spa to save our legs, honestly as mentioned before, the staff really take hospitality to the next level. Nice drinks at the rooftop bar with nice panoramic views.

The hotel’s architecture is undeniably impressive — clean lines, modern shapes, and that postcard-perfect marina view. But somewhere between the concrete and the coastline, the Hilton spirit seems to have taken a holiday. Staff were professional but not particularly present — polite, yet without warmth or genuine smiles. For a Hilton property, that’s like coffee without caffeine: technically there, but missing the energy. As a Gold member booking directly through Hilton, I expected at least a small acknowledgment or a friendly gesture — unfortunately, none appeared. The “smart” room was charming in theory but not so clever in practice: the fridge refused to chill anything, and the walls happily shared our neighbor’s conversations. Many of the resort’s facilities were closed, leaving the place looking like a beautiful stage without the actors. In short — lovely building, gorgeous view, but the soul of Hilton hospitality was sadly out of office.

Booked 5 days at the hotel, as driving to hotel I felt we were in middle of a town full of high rise old flats …. Then we were there. |Good stuff - staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely views ( from one side of hotel only, the other side is like a building yard) |Not so good stuff - no shops, other bars or restaurants to walk to, so you have to eat and drink at the VERY expensive hotel. We were half board and were stuck for lunch at the pool bar which is small and full of swarms of wasps. Tuna salad bowl for one €25 etc. pint beer €11|The hotel do a water taxi €16 to Šibenik- we ordered and waited but it never showed up- so still stuck at the hotel. |Breakfast was continental and limited. Evening meal was ‘same’ every night and a bottle of cheap wine to share started at €50. Small glass €12 |We booked a marina view delux room with a sea view. Large rooms and clean. The view was more a tree view than a sea view. |We are an older couple with walking difficulties so this was our experience.

This was my third stay at D-Resort Šibenik, and in many ways it remains an exceptional property. The hotel is an architectural masterpiece — modern, striking, and perfectly situated. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, with large balconies, contemporary finishes, and luxurious bathrooms featuring double sinks and a generous shower. The staff continue to deliver outstanding service: warm, attentive, and professional. The resort also offers two pools, an excellent spa, and beautiful public spaces. However, the food at the two on-site restaurants was a real letdown this time. In the past, the cuisine was a highlight of my stay, but on this visit it simply did not meet the standard one would expect from a property of this caliber. Flavors were average at best, and our risotto was overcooked to the point of being mush. It’s a noticeable drop in quality compared to my previous visits, and I hope the management takes steps to restore the dining experience to what it once was. Overall, D-Resort Šibenik is still a stunning and comfortable place to stay — but the food needs a serious rethink to match the excellence found everywhere else on the property.

We stayed at D-Resort in Šibenik, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and truly represented the best of Croatian hospitality. The breakfast service was excellent, with a great variety and top quality. Simply put, this is the best place we’ve stayed along the Dalmatian coast. Highly recommended!
