The 20 Best Pizzerias in Los Angeles

"For a full-on Detroit pie experience, DTown Pizzeria is a must. Made by native Michigander Ryan Ososky, these hefty pies come with the sauce on top, the stretchy cheese, and all the crusty-cornered deliciousness one could want. The latest location serves out of Topanga Social in Woodland Hills, and check both menus for any recent thin crust pizza additions." - Eater Staff

It’s good months ago that’s why I came back. But today was very disappointing I ordered the truffle pizza. It’s like eating a thick bread with pizza toppings. If you look closer at the picture, you can see how thick the bread was. Very thin layer of toppings. Not worth the price for a deep dish pizza. Its should be called deep dish bread pizza flavor. . Price? $30 Not coming back. Bye Dtown.

Motown Meat pizza / pepperoni, house made sausage, ham, bacon jam, red sauce - 5 🌟! D-Town Pizzeria is part of the wave of Detroit-style pizza places gaining popularity in LA. Los Angeles loves pizza, and since we don't have our signature style, we wind up welcoming all kinds of pizza. The only real requirement is that it is good. D-Town goes beyond good and enters the legendary ranks of LA pizza. Their menu has only one size, 8x10. But there is a reason! It is so they can cut the square, deep dish pie into four, and each slice is filling and has a corner crust to it. They have a nice selection of topping combos. I had the meat special, and it was everything I was hoping it would be. There are also some other sides available, but for me, it's all about these square pies. They used to share a kitchen with a pho place in WeHo, but now they have a permanent space in Topanga Social and while it is farther for me to stop by compared to WeHo, I'm happy they are growing and have their own space. I can't wait to go back and try another delicious combo!

Google
Pizza is mid. It looks a lot better than it tastes. We had the pepperoni. The dough and pizza sauce feel underdeveloped and basic. Pizzas are dense, 1 pizza can feed 2 people - which is a good thing.

Google
I was actually pleasantly surprised by this pizza! I don't usually go for this style but was craving pizza and was seeing a movie at Topanga. It's VERY expensive for what you are getting but the bread is to die for! The cheesy crispy edges and the soft dough. WOW. Got the pepperoni and added burrata. It went down VERY quickly!

Google
I really wish I could give them a 5 start because the pizza was really good, but the organization and customer service makes me not want to give this place a 3rd and final chance. 1st time, we were turned away because they ran out of food after waiting in line about 30 minutes. 2nd time the good took about 45 just to come out, and when you get the text there is no designated pick up location at the counter so redone just stands around waiting on the 1 food runner to check your order number. Total and complete chaos. Must have patience if you want to enjoy this place overall. Don't come hungry to the social.

Google
Wow this place lives up to hype! Drove an hour and 15 minutes and was not disappointment. My boyfriend LOVES pizza so I’ve tried all there is and this is #1. It’s cheesy and crispy. This pepperoni is delish! The ranch is 2 dollars which was expensive to me until I saw the size! It’s the size of about two wing stop ranches. Hopefully one is opened near Hollywood or LA!

This is the best 🍕 bar none. The negative review isn't accurate, he just didn't know what Detroit pizza is or was cheap. Let me help u out. -If ur cheap or hurting for money, this may not be for u. Try $5 hot and ready. -This is DETROIT STYLE 🍕. If u don't like that or don't know what it is, don't get it or look it up before ordering. -One 🍕 comes w 4 large slices. 2 pieces is enough for a grown adult, unless u r very large. A child could split one slice. It is thick and heavy . -Price wise, it isn't cheap, but overhead is prob a nightmare and this is great, quality pizza. Not the thin BS California likes to call 🍕. Growing up in metro Detroit, this is what we grew up on. Thick, square, spongy pizza, w crisp edges and sauce drizzled on top. Amazing!! Brings me back to my childhood and these guys do it exceptionally well. If ur from metro Detroit, u know this pizza. Just like Buddy's, Shield's, Bucemi's or Gathering Place. 😊 In true Detroit form, they have Faygo too. IYKYK!!!! 🥤 TY for my amazing lunch!!!

Google
$7 per slice for a block of extra salty salt lick. You’ll take your own order at D-Town without a selection for light sauce or light salt. You’ll be asked to tip for “service” before Jason screws up your order. They’ll mine you for personal data because that mall rent is just a really bad business decision. Seems like an upscale mall but in a low rent neighborhood. It’s in the basement with no cell service but you can sign up for “free” WiFi where they mine you for more data. Really awkward social media presence too. Look at the reviews-embarrassing. They took a swing at the wrong Sicilian Detroiter. If you’re expecting Buddy’s or Jets, you’re going to be very disappointed.

Yelp
D Town Pizzeria which specializes in Detroit style pizza, and we tried their Goomba a pepperoni pizza. But we decided to kick it up a notch by adding some delicious burrata cheese and spicy hot honey on top. Trust me, you're in for a treat! The first thing you'll notice is the thick crust of this pizza, resembling a square cake pan. It's chewy, fluffy, and so delicious! And then there's the toppings pepperoni, tomato sauce, and the star of the show the burrata cheese and hot honey. The combination of flavors is just incredible. With every bite, you get a burst of taste that will have your taste buds dancing with joy. If you're looking for a fantastic pizza spot in LA, D Town Pizzeria is definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
The street corn pizza is fantastic! The flavor comes through and the pieces are decent size. The bread is soft and fluffy, while the edges are extra crispy. You order at the kiosk and they text you when the order is ready. Parking- parking lot/structure

Yelp
why is no one talking about the vegan pizza?!?! no need to get fancy: get the 1946 (original red stripe) with vegan cheese, hold the parmesan it's just perfection, no notes, 10/10 detroit pizza!

Yelp
This pizza snob gives this place the thumbs up! I loved the red sauce and how the crust was light unlike other Detroit style pizzas that feel like a brick. I ordered it at the kiosk and was a little disappointed that I couldn't order just a slice. (Hence the 4 stars). It was ready in about 15 mins as promised. For a text on my phone, walked over to the counter and picked it up. There were 4 rectangular slices and I wasn't that hungry but ended up eating 2! Lol. They were light, crispy, and the sauce was good. It's all about the sauce people! (Could be just a tad less salty) I brought home the rest, heated them up and were just as good the next day!

Yelp
DTown Pizza is Detroit style so it's a thick crust, deep dish style. The pepperoni pizza was $22 and some change and comes with 4 slices but they are hefty slices. The sauce cups are $2 and comes in the small salsa cups. We went with the hot honey- first time trying hot honey on pizza! For me, I love pizza and it's hard to go wrong with pizza but I felt like this was really heavy, greasey... maybe a little too much for my liking. Maybe Detroit style pizza is not my thing? The flavors were good but overall I'd say the pizza was pricey for what we got. I'm sure the rent to be inside Topanga Social is high so they have to price it that way. The staff was super friendly. Even though you order at the kiosk and not with a cashier, the staff at DTown were very helpful and nice. Currently, if you sign up for Topanga Social Rewards you get $5 off your first order and can build up points.

Yelp
Honestly wish they had more pizza options. I'm not the biggest on marinara and would love some white sauce options and just garlic in general. I love the style of their pizza though! Super fluffy and sauces up and they make it to order so it's super fresh. Box is huge and intimidating but the pizza size itself isn't nearly as big as the box. This is located inside the topanga social so plenty of seating. The wait time was about 20-30 minutes though, probably one of the longer wait times in this food court. If you're into loaded pizza, this might be the place for you! Will have to try their bread appetizer at some point. IG: @ammysalamii

Yelp
Saw a few people dive into some Dtown around Topanga Social and I was super interested. Looked absolutely bomb. In short, this place slaps. Some of the best pizza I have had in LA. I went at the Topanga Social spot and was blown away. The crust could have been a little crisper, but if you like a good Detroit style Za, this is the place to go. The ranch is $2 which is kind of whack, but they give you a lot in one cup. Also the pizza is a bit pricey, but for a thicker slice it's totally worth it, especially if you eat all four. Need to try the WeHo spot next. Dtown is top notch pizza that everyone has to try.

Yelp
Being I'm from the Bronx originally ! We were leaving the movies and was feeling a little hungry, we were in the Woodland Hills location. So I went up to their location I look at the menu board, never have tried Detroit style pizza , basically had no sauce but it had corn and lime and cheese.I enjoyed it for what it was. Staff were very nice and explained the pizza. I thought that they were pretty cool.
google avatar

Yelp
They have Focaccia! Perfect golden crisp, soft and airy was not dense. Had the bubble pocket interior and seasoned well. Toasted rosemary sprinkled on top. Kiosks throughout the topanga social are available to order at any of the surrounding eateries. Ordering was easy you place your food orders, input your phone number and receive a text once you're order is ready for pick up. D Town had great service, clean area with happy smiles.

Yelp
Wow this pizza was honestly super delicious and somehow still felt kinda light. It's sUper thick but the bread has a fluffy light consistency that is just so easy to chew on and pull apart. The crust and outer part of the pizza are perfectly crunchy and you can taste the oily burnt cheese which is yummy! Theres a generous amount of sauce which taste fresh and not just your basic marinara sauce. I do wish that there was more cheese so there would be a cheese pull but it still has such great flavor overall. I got the cheese pizza for 17.99 which is pretty pricy but I think it's worth it, esp if you're sharing with someone (2 slices should be filling for one person). I personally don't like how all of Topanga Social uses devices to order food because 1. It's unsanitary 2. It takes away from friendly customer service experiences 3. the staff doesn't rlly talk to you at all. But the place looked clean and the order was ready fairly quickly. I would def come back and try more flavors!!

Yelp
While trying many foods at Topanga Social we decided to get a pepperoni pizza as well to share. The size is small and the price is high. The dough is too thick for me but it tasted good. I'm the one who ate the pizza. No one wanted to eat it cause of the dough. Customer service was ok, we didn't interact much cause you basically place your order on a kiosk that had all the eateries on it. The ambiance at Topanga Social is amazing. I love it. Hoping the food will improve over time.

Yelp
Really really good deep dish pizzas! Brimming with cheese and that truffle and mushroom toppings are simply devine. Not greasy, not skimpy with their toppings, top of the line. Service was great, thanks Aidan! I will surely order and eat here again. Ambiance of a vegas food court

Yelp
While exploring the options at Topanga Social, the Detroit-style pizza caught our eye. The pizza only comes as a whole pie and no individual slices, which range from $16.99-$28.99. We ended up trying the Supreme, which includes pepperoni, ham, sausage, mushrooms, pickled onions, banana peppers, scallions, red sauce, oregano, and parm. The flavors are great and I like how the banana peppers and pickled onions cut through the heaviness of this meaty combo. While it's good, I found it very pricey at almost $30 for 4 petite slices of pizza. Plus, the wait took awhile too. I would prefer Prince Street Pizza over this, not only for the taste but value too. Although would still enjoy D-Town again but would opt for one of their cheaper options. I wish I didn't have to commit to an entire pie though.

Yelp
D-TOWN PIZZERIA is one of the food establishments in Topanga Social and it's a great option! It's supposed to be from Detroit and uses a pizza-making technique popular there -- the resulting cheesy crunch coating the bread is (chef's kiss)! The bread is great. The sauce is awesome. The cheese is generous. The pizza was cooked fairly quickly. The workers are friendly. The vibe at this food hall is very cool.
google avatar

Jake B.

Yelp
So, we had this pizza, right? The crust was crispy, like, perfectly crispy, and the cheese was super cheesy - just the way you want it. Plus, it was cooked just right, with the cheese all bubbly and the crust all golden-brown. My son and fiance couldn't get enough of it either. Overall, it was a total winner. We're definitely going back for more!

Yelp
This is my families absolute favorite pizza spot. The pizza is beyond amazing. The only issue I've ever had was getting the exact location so here it is for you; Topanga Social - enter near the AMC theater and go down stairs to I believe the basement. You will find it next to several other restaurants. The other location closed last time I checked. Anyhow, pizza is amazing, ambiance is lovely at the Topanga Social. Put this on your must have pizza list.

Yelp
I had a slice of the Life is Truff and thought it was fantastic. It's cool to see a Detroit style pizza place out here in the valley- not super common! My first experience of Detroit style pizza was actually a frozen pizza from Costco and so, needless to say, having a fresh slice at DTown Pizzeria was immensely better. I loved the complexity of the flavors and that the truffle flavor was not super overpowering. I also liked the thickness of the pizza and how fluffy the crust was with the crisp edges which give it that signature Detroit style. Would come back!
google avatar

Kyle K.

Yelp
Expectations SHATTERED...itc was greasy, salty and doughy. The crust was not even a little crispy...
google avatar

Christine L.

Yelp
This is located in the new Topanga Social. Had this place bookmarked for some time, I was excited to see it here. Really wanted to love this, but honestly a bit disappointed. We got the supreme pizza (they don't do slices here) and you also can't do half and half unless the other half is cheese. The pizza was almost $40, which is quite steep for the small size. There was nothing so special about the pizza. The supreme flavors didn't go well together, crust was not anything special. The cheese on the crust actually made it a bit too salty. Overall, wouldn't recommend.

Yelp
As a native of Brooklyn, I lived in pizza for most of my life. Pizza was my idea of soul food. Now, I have never left a review for anything on Yelp. Ever. Until now. Today I had what I can easily say was the best pizza I have ever eaten, and I have had pizza from New Haven to Chicago. After sitting down to a pie, a square pie - Detroit-style - called "Life is Truff", deep dish, no red sauce but rich, filling, slightly charred at the ends, I walked away feeling like I could stop anyone who says New York has the best pizza. They don't - DTown does. What was most gratifying was the dough: not thick and rubbery like you might expect from deep dish, but light and delicate with an exquisite layer of cheese that went down easily without any of the belly-bomber aftershock of most pizza - thick crust or thin. I ran into Javier who took great pride in extolling the virtue of the way he makes the dough by hand as if he were talking about his own children (though I do not think he has any). A labor of love that expresses itself beautifully in his lies. Don't expect a slice, and don't expect it to get to you quickly. Javier makes each pie by hand. The price is higher than most pizza, but it's worth every penny. My stomach tells me so and yours will thank you. Don't wait. Motor on down to DTown in the Topanga Social area by the AMC for a feast of great pizza.
google avatar

Yelp
D Town's pizza is sooo good! They have thick cheesy pizza (with the sauce on top). It's located at Topanga Social. Every time I've come (even if there aren't many orders ahead of me) we've had to wait about 20 minutes for our pizza but it's worth it! The cheese is crispy, the crust is delicious, and it's overall amazing!! It's definitely an amazing option here.

Yelp
This place is in the Westfield topanga mall at the Social. My partner and I wanted little tasters of different places. We saw they had focaccia bread for 10$ and we thought we would try it. The bread was STALE. It tasted like two day old bread that was left out on the counter overnight exposed. Considering it was made to order and took 30 minutes, I was surprised at the quality. The edges of the bread were hard and the middle was not even warm or fluffy like focaccia bread is suppose to be. When I first opened the box, it did not even feel warm, they could have at least warmed it up for me? I I would not order it again and I won't come back for the pizza considering how bad this bread was.

Sofia P.

Yelp
Took almost 1 hour to get pizza, the worker was standing around laughing and talking with other workers. They decreased the size of their pizzas and kept the same price
google avatar

Robbi S.

Yelp
To be 100% honest, as an intense lover of Detroit Style pizza, this place should be ashamed to call themselves DTown Pizza because they are not repping well! Also, the prices for such tiny pizzas was so disappointing. Overall, it just didn't toast good.
google avatar

Sigs G.

Yelp
This pizza is delicious but I found it to be super salty, almost borderline too salty. I absolutely love Topanga Social though and the vibes are good. I would try this pizza again and pray its not as salty.
google avatar

Yelp
I admit their pizza is EXPENSSSSIVVEEE!! BUT Seriously it tastes sooooooooooo DARN DELICIOUS!!! The one I tried is their Motown Meat Pizza!! Actually, my husband ordered it and he gave me a slice and BAM!!! My goodness the dough is just so nice and fluffy and I love the cheese crust on the edges of the pizza. I'm telling you, I am not in a diet per se, but I don't like putting wasted calories into my body, in other words, I haven't had other brand of pizza in awhile because (just for myself...in my mind..), it is just basic...but I will try new food, and this pizza blew it out of the ballpark...it is sooooooo not basic!!! I can't talk about the service because my husband was the one that picked it up. This was his 2nd time ordering pizza from here(Motown Meat Pizza), and Yep...I definitely got myself a slice...whereas normally I would not have a slice from other pizza chains. Atmosphere...is in the mall...but the expensive part (lol) in Topanga Social.

Yelp
Getting 12 of us to agree on a place to have lunch requires more patience than any of us have. Topanga Social, the new-ish food court seemed the perfect solution. The negatives: To start, parking is a bear. The outdoor lot nearest the restaurants is small and it seemed turnover on a Friday at 12:30 was very limited. We got lucky and found someone pulling out after circling for about 5 minutes. Others have recommended parking in the indoor lot off Owensmouth and walking over. I will try that the next time I come to this food court. The ambient noise level is quite high. Maybe some folks like that. I found it hard to hear what my friends were saying despite them sitting just a few feet away. Next time, I will grab a table outside. Ordering food is also a new experience. You have to find an open screen, choose a restaurant, and place your order. They then text you when your order is ready. I found a screen with only one person in front of me. Unfortunately, it was a grandfather/granddaughter who apparently never used a touch screen before. OY!!! Five minutes later, I got to place my order. The positives: D-Town Pizza makes your pizza to order. That's good news and bad news. The good news is that your pizza is freshly made and hot when you get it. The bad is that it takes about 20 minutes to come out of the oven. My wife and I shared the Meat pizza ($29 counting tax and tip). A small square pizza that comes in a small square box. It has a pretty thick crust (not Chicago pizza thick, but pretty thick none the less). It is very "doughy" - which suits me just fine (5 star) but my wife found it too "doughy" (3 star). Hence the 4 star rating. Sharing the pizza was more than we could finish so $15 a head for lunch made it pretty good value.

Yelp
Tried it when they were on Santa Monica Blvd first, they were perfect! Pizza so yum! Perfect crust, sauce, cheese ratio. They moved to Canoga Park now. Bit too far though, but I'm willing to make a drive for it. They are located in Topanga Social, super lively and fun spot. We got their pepperoni pizza again, but pepperoni only on half of pizza for the bf and cheese on other half to accommodate my vegetarian needs. All was great, but crust wasn't as crispy this time, too bready, we preferred crispy like the first time. Would still come back, maybe it was a one off.

Yelp
I'm 8th generation born in Detroit. This pizza is the real deal. One bite and I was back to my childhood. If you've never had Detroit pizza, start with the basic cheese. FYI, it's technically "four slices", but super thick and filling. One pizza could feed two people. Also, 5 Strats for the Topanga Social location. Grab a glass of wine, a pie and sit in the lounge area of the new Irish pub. Love it!
google avatar

Wendy H.

Yelp
Best eatery at Topanga Social hands down! It's so bomb. Super thick dough, lots of pepperoni. Awesome.

Agnes S.

Yelp
The pizza was decent but service was horrible! This is in regards to their new location at Topanga Social. For $18 for a cheese pizza, I could get just as good yet significantly cheaper at Pizza Guys to be honest. The real reason for my rating is the service because god forbid you forget your phone or else they put you through hell. I get the new Topanga Social is a new fancy digital food court but if a patron forgets their cell phone, it shouldn't be the end of the world and shouldn't be the start of a horrible customer experience. As soon as I ordered, with knowledge of my order number, I let the customer service guy know I forgot my phone and asked if I should Wait there for my pizza or if I could go order at the next location while my pizza was getting made. The employee began to question me on why I forgot my phone, what was wrong with my phone, what was wrong with me for forgetting my phone and telling me I couldn't get the pizza I just paid for nor was there anything they could do since it was my fault I forgot my phone. Dude I just gave you my order number, I can confirm my cell phone and name which is recorded and I can confirm My order plus order number yet the employee says I can't get my pizza?? Train your staff properly!! Yes I forgot my phone but you got my money, I'm standing in front of you while ordering AND PAYING, I'm letting you know right away I don't have my phone yet you act like I'm trying to steal your money and get free food, MIND YOU IM THERE WITH MY 2 TODDLERS, and your employee is asking me what is wrong with me on forgetting my phone. I'd come again to purchase but your employee left a sour taste in my mouth. I ordered at 2 other places in there that had no issues or questions yet your employee can't wrap their mind around the fact that I accidentally forgot my phone and ordered a simple cheese pizza. TRAIN YOUR STAFF PROPERLY!!! Your pizza was burnt too!! Get it together!!

Yelp
Had to try this place after hearing amazing stuff about it! I have to say, it didn't disappoint. If you like doughy pizza, you MUST try this. Will be back!

Yelp
Detroit style pizza is one of my favorite types of pizza. I was very excited to try this place in Topanga Social. It was a very long wait (which I expected) but unfortunately the pizza we got was just mediocre, at best. The dough & crust were dry and the toppings were overcooked to the point of them losing flavor and the proper texture. Better Detroit style pizza can be found in several other spots in L.A.
google avatar

Eric W.

Yelp
My friend and I had the cheese pizza today at this Topanga Social location - SO GOOD! Love the cheese crust and sauce on the top combo!! And that dough - yum!!!!

Eric San J.

Yelp
Visited Topanga Social with D-Town in mind already. Here's what I thought: The DBM is AMAZING. It's a Burrata Margerita pizza, with confit, olives, and pesto drizzle. The dough is so nice and fluffy, with a very crispy crust to compliment. The pizza is seasoned and baked so well, it's worth every bite. Make sure to add the Hot Honey add-on so you can dip your pizza into some spicy sweetness. A+ selection from D-Town. When you visit D-Town, don't get anything simple. Switch it up with the DBM (or maybe the Goomba) so that you get a wildly enjoyable pizza experience you can't get anywhere else.

Marcie B.

Yelp
Tried this place in the Topanga mall. While the pizza was tasty I have to say paying $28 for a 4 squares of dough and cheese is ridiculous. I'm sure the rent is high in that mall, but jeez, settle down a bit on what your charging. One pizza can NOT feed more than one person unless you're not that hungry. Rip Off!

Miles K.

Yelp
I recently had the opportunity to visit D Town Pizzeria at Topanga Social, and it was an interesting experience. Being a pizza lover, I was excited to try their Detroit-style pizza for the first time. However, I must say that my overall impression left me a bit underwhelmed. Let's start with the positives. The atmosphere at Topanga Social was vibrant and lively, and the staff members were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant had a trendy and modern feel to it, which added to the overall experience. The menu had a decent selection of pizzas and appetizers, and I decided to go for their signature dish, the Detroit-style pizza. When the pizza arrived at our table, I couldn't help but notice the unique rectangular shape, thick crust, and the generous amount of cheese on top. The first bite was an explosion of flavors, with the cheesy bread and a dab of sauce hitting my taste buds. The crust had a satisfying crunch to it, and the cheese was gooey and delicious. The combination of flavors was certainly distinct and provided a unique twist on traditional pizza. However, as much as I appreciated the novelty of the Detroit-style pizza, I couldn't help but feel that it fell short compared to other pizza joints I've been to. The crust, while crunchy on the outside, lacked that light and airy texture I prefer in a pizza. Additionally, the abundance of cheese, while initially enjoyable, became a bit overwhelming after a few slices. Moreover, I found the overall taste to be on the heavier side. The pizza felt quite dense and filling, which might appeal to some but left me craving a lighter and more balanced option. Personally, I prefer pizzas with a thinner crust and a greater variety of toppings, allowing for a more diverse flavor profile. In terms of value for money, the prices at D Town Pizzeria were on the higher side. While the portions were decent, I couldn't shake off the feeling that I could have had a more satisfying pizza experience elsewhere. It's at this point that I have to mention that if given the choice, I would probably opt for Blaze Pizza, which offers a wider range of options and a more customizable experience. Overall, my visit to D Town Pizzeria at Topanga Social was an interesting culinary adventure. I appreciated the opportunity to try the Detroit-style pizza, and the cheesy bread with a dab of sauce was definitely a memorable component. However, considering my personal preferences and experiences, I would likely choose other pizza establishments over D Town Pizzeria in the future.

Yelp
We ordered a margarita pizza for the two of us and it came to $23 plus tax. Pizza was very good, you can definitely tell the ingredients were good quality and fresh so personally I think the price is reasonable. The tomatoes were delicious but I feel a little more pesto could have been added. The wait was a little over 20 minutes, however, there were only 2 people working in the kitchen responsible for multiple orders during a busy period and it tasted fresh so I'm not upset about waiting. It's also important to remember this location recently opened so one should expect there to be a longer than normal wait. Overall totally worth it in my opinion though and definitely recommend!!

Yelp
Honestly if they just get down the speed of the orders I think it would be a better place. They got my order wrong. I had to wait an additional 30 minutes on top of the 20 I had initially waited for my order. So over all I was there for 50 minutes. They should also call over people ordering food as you cannot order on your own through the kiosk. They were nice but they weren't nice enough to care about my time.

Yelp
Garnet help me at the counter. He was pleasant and he double checked on my order twice to make sure it came out on time. A pizza was delicious will be visiting again we needed a pizza place like this in the valley.

Yelp
D-Town Pizzeria is definitely a hotspot in the lively Topanga Social scene. However, I have to admit I'm not entirely won over. The pizza comes in a generous large size and the flavor is alright, but there are moments when the crust feels a bit too dry and the sauce is spotty. Considering the price tag (which is on the higher side), I had higher expectations. If you're really into the whole Detroit style pizza, you might find it more to your liking, but personally, it wouldn't top my list of favorite spots in Topanga Social.

Yelp
This pizza is horrible. I'd give it zero stars if I could, but apparently you can't do that on Yelp. I ordered a cheese pizza from Topanga Social today and deeply regret my decision. This is NOT Detroit-style pizza, period. It's also not good pizza in general (well, the cheese pizza is trash, I can't speak for the other varieties). I took a couple bites of one slice and threw out the entire pizza. It's completely inedible. I wish I could get a refund.

Yelp
Seller Detroit style that lives up to the hype. Service was very good. Long line so be prepared. Highly recommend.

Yelp
The D-Town pizza place has finally arrived. Located in the Topanga shopping mall. Even Hey Hey Boba is here also and other great stuff. You can order it through a kiosk any food you want from each stand and the order number will prompt it to your cell phone. My advice to take pictures as a precaution is just that you have lost track of your order. Seems lots of people placing an order wait time will be a nightmare during busy hours. D-Town Pizzeria people love to try new stuff , Pizza is always a pizza , one key thing is the dough some of us want thick or thin , crunchy or soft , ingredients and so on which you need to make it something special blow people mind away. Word of mouth is all over you. There's nothing really special about D-Town. The prices are really steep, the size of the pizza is not huge, just an ordinary pizza to me, and they don't just sell slices. The unique thing is their box pretending that you can rip a certain portion and put it on your shoulder or around your neck as you enjoy your pizza. I feel weird about this. .
