After falling in love with the Chelsea location, I knew I had to visit this one as well!
We came here on a Friday evening in the summer without a reservation--very last minute. Despite the restaurant being extremely busy, we were pleasantly surprised to be seated at a beautiful table for two right in front of the restaurant. Unlike many NYC spots with outdoor seating, this one had so much character. Similar to the Chelsea location, the exterior was adorned with gorgeous pink flowers, but this one also featured string lights outside, creating such a cozy and inviting vibe.
Now, onto the food! To my delight, this location was just as amazing as the Chelsea one. I ordered the same meal: the Burrata Con Basilico as my starter, the Cappellacci Tartufo E Porcini as my entrée, and the Tortini Di Cioccolato for dessert. Each dish was just as delicious as I remembered, and I was blown away all over again.
When comparing the two locations, the food quality is identical--both are exceptional. However, the ambiance differs. The Chelsea location feels more upscale and perfect for special occasions, while the Village location has a more casual, laid-back vibe, perfect for a dinner with friends or a relaxed dinner.
This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the city. No matter which location you choose, you're guaranteed an incredible meal and a great vibe.
