I was recently here to see my friends and I receive awards for our art! It was very crowded, but a very nice experience for the family. There was a Mother's Day activity for children where they made cards/drawings, it was very fun.

Loved the art work displayed. And the play, Silver Dollar, was excellent and quite enjoyable. The venue is not air conditioned but there were numerous electric fans attempting to cool the room.

I attended a presentation at dA Center for the Arts, in Pomona, Ca On the venue, was the Rainbow Garden ballroom in Pomona. The presenter was David Reyes and Ernie Banales. They displayed many of local young Chicano musicians and their bands having played at the Rainbow Garden along with Fat Dominos Band, Little Richard and famous Mexican artists ie Javier Solis, Perez Pardo and Maria Victoria his vocalist. This Thursday at 12noon, another famous local group will be presented

Yelp
I love this little place. Such a great little loft like space. I went to go see a friends band play. I truly enjoyed it. They have a little bar at the back during openings and closings of exhibits. I was there for the closing of the "Gun Show" exhibit, which was definately interesting. I'm not a big fan of guns so it was neat to see some of the artists expressions. They had a neat video playing behind the bands too, which was an artistic vision in its own right. Made the whole thing look like an Andy Warhol project in the factory. I really dug it. They have monthly installations. So there's always something new to go see. You gotta check it out!

Yelp
After looking in our neighborhoods my cities for a theatre class for my 10 year old son, I came across the dA center. Unlike other acting classes I found in Claremont and Glendora, the kids here are getting a well rounded understanding of script writing, prop making and of course acting! & they don't charge an outrageous fee for costumes etc. Their teacher Mrs. C has taken the time the kids needed to perfect their play. My son has so much fun here! They also offer other art classes. I highly recommend any parent who has a child interested in acting to give the dA center a try! You won't regret it!

Yelp
Wow, what's not to love? The people, the space, the light, the floors, the classes, the location, the atmosphere, the vibe, the energy...ALL SO GOOD. I'm so glad I'm becoming involved with such a place, that it even exists. There really isn't much else to say about it. One should definitely check out their site page and see what is up and coming. All kinds of events happen there, bands, installation art, funky and modern, classical works... You want to go get your art on - this is the place.

Yelp
Came here to see one of my all time favorite antifolk singers, kimya dawson. The space was bright and open, great for a small intimate performance. I am so happy I got a chance to see her perform and meet her in person. Would definitely recommend going to a show there if you get the chance.

Yelp
This non-profit art gallery is a jewel!! Check out the Second Saturday Art Walk. If you love good Poetry, check their web-site for monthly guest readers. They have hosted some very fine poets. This is a wonderful community project!

Yelp
This gallery is one of the centers of the art scene in the inland Empire, with interesting exhibits, community art workshops and classes, and interesting musical concerts! Check it out on the second Saturday of every month during Pomona art walk, or other times during the month for a wide variety of events!
