The fish sandwich here was a hot mess! The huge roll and condiments overwhelmed the small fish fillet that got lost in the bread. The fries were great but for $20 I've had better sandwiches for less! Service was ok and the place was empty as always, the plus was the giant flat screen tv playing the news.

My experience at this restaurant and cafe was outstanding, particularly with regards to the Warriors Steak and Chicken Shawarma, which boasted an impressive flavor profile. The smoothie and boba were also noteworthy, with the coconut flavor being especially refreshing and delicious. Additionally, the restaurant is well-maintained and clean, with a friendly and attentive staff.

The smoothies were excellent, we had strawberry mango and mixed berry. I ordered a $15 hotspot fries. When we opened the box there was napkins directly on top of the fries which we thought was kind of odd. It looked pretty good but the fries were cold and you could tell the cheese had been on them for quite some time. I didn't feel comfortable saying anything because the cashier had already tried saying I wasn't charged for the fries which I absolutely was I remember handing $15 over after I was already done paying for our smoothies. So I don't know why we ended up with old fries especially at 15 plus dollars but the smoothies were good

Food STAY FRESH & HOT 🔥 ALWAYS.. served with love NOTHING is ever sloppy, instead very tasteful.. AND THEY TAKE EBT I do takeout so I can only imagine sitting down with that BIG TV. DO NOT BE ALARMED BY THE AREA. GOOD THINGS ARE WORTH MAKING SMALL SACRIFICES FOR!! ❤️ 😍 💖

Great spot with solid food and vibes. Tried the wings and loaded fries — super flavorful and cooked just right. Staff was friendly and the whole place had a chill, welcoming vibe. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.

Google
The best cafe in San Francisco. Please come here and try ANYTHING on her menu and you’ll be impressed by how good it is. It’s a super clean place, and her prices are so affordable. Please come here 10/10 recommend

Always enjoyed what I order from this establishment. My apologies to the establishment for my 1st review. But after calling and talking to a staff member.Theres a misunderstanding on my part cause when I saw turkey, bacon, lettuce & tomato.I thought I was getting that sandwich. But I didn't realize it's a Turkey bacon cause I was thinking Turkey slices and bacon slices. My bad but my apologies and I deleted my 1st.review & next time I'll order correctly thank you for understanding. 🤗

Yelp
At the corner of Jones and Turk in the heart of the TL, Da Hot Spot is a nice option for sandwiches and chicken shawarma. A bit pricey, but good quality and good-sized portions. I love how bright it is inside, it looks very fun and welcoming.

Yelp
One of my friends recommended me this place . She said her son love there tea and sandwiches. I love boba but there boba is a milk tea . I like the customer service here I told the I just wanted tea and they gave it to me. I tried there sandwiches with fries . I also had there smoothies really good. My favorite part is how clean this place is. They also accept ebt. I will be coming here often for my smoothies.

Yelp
Stopped here for an Americano before watching a musical at the GG theatre. Nice and bright spot in the TL. Good coffee and friendly service. Has a variety of food options that I'll try another time.

Yelp
The Hot Spot makes really good coffee . I can't say anything about the food because I haven't eaten there. The coffee is really good,

Yelp
I've only ever had the Salesforce sandwich and it's delicious! Service can be hit or miss, but it's worth a visit.

Yelp
One of the juiciest burgers I've tried in SF. Nice vibe with both tables and stools and much cleaner than other areas in the area. The service was relatively fast and the food was well cooked. 9.9/10

Yelp
This is a gem of a spot. I've been here a few times know and their food is good but the customer service is amazing. Smiles all round, friendly staff. Great atmosphere Considering the neighborhood. Definitely my new lunch break spot. Garlic fries at 10/10. Pizza is a 7/10 I just with there was more sauce on the pizza. That is my ONLY criticism of this place. That should tell you how good it is.

Yelp
I contacted the establishment to let them know I had gotten food poisoning after receiving an order of there "hot spot fries" that came to us after having been sitting for quite some time and had a napkin in the box directly ontop of the fries. I also let them know that I thought it was due to them thinking that I hadn't been charged for the Fries, which I had cleared up with the cashier. I had originally ordered two smoothies but then decided to get an order of the price so pay separately. They responded with nothing more than I apologize for this. No offer of an order of fresh fries for the money I spent or anything. I feel they're not too worried about their customer service and it's down right wrong to end up with an old order of anything for $15

Yelp
Not a huge fan of the name, but definitely a good spot for a late night snack. A few days ago, I stopped in to grab a late night coffee and tiramisu. They were out of coffee since they were closing so I substituted that for an Americano which was delicious, but had a lot more energy than I expected, the tiramisu was delicious but a little too soft. The guys were quick to make my order and we're generally nice about me coming in so close to closing. I'll be sure to stop by again if I'm in the area and try some of their other items.

Yelp

Yelp
Great food! Tried the chicken wings and french fries! The staff is very friendly and great service. The cafe is clean and an oasis in the heart of the tenderloin s.f.

Yelp
I always come for the 49ers and it taste better and better every time I get it no cap I be going broke here just every time you order it's gone be A1

Yelp
I don't care if this place is in the Tenderloin. I walk from da apartment to Da Hot Spot (about a mile, I live in Nob Hill) to get BoBa. Their food is pretty good too. The service is great and friendly. I don't know if the man that makes my boba owns the place, but he takes good care of everyone that walks in like he does own the place. Everything on da menu that I've tried has been good. So go there tomorrow morning and get you a boba breakfast.... That's not a real thing. I made it up. However, if you drink boba for breakfast like I do, then you can call a boba breakfast

Yelp
It's alright. I had the warriors sandwich, which is their take on a cheesesteak. It comes on this sort of soft dutch crunch bread which is ok. It's not crunchy but the softness works well for this kind of sandwich. The main knock is the meat was oversalted. The fries are pretty standard.

Hazem G.

Yelp
My fav spot in this neighborhood!!! Always clean quick and friendly! Definitely recommended!!!

Yelp
I definitely will not be getting food from this place. Very very overpriced especially being in the tenderloin. The food is very mediocre. You can make a better sandwich for a few people with their prices. My sandwich didn't even have American cheese like I asked for. They handle cash with the same dirty hands to prepare your food and my fries were freezing cold. Took almost 30 mins for a sandwich and no one else was in there.

Solomon S.

Yelp
Terrible place to eat! My pizza was very small but I was hungry. And I got sick off their personal pizza. The service was rude to me when I asked how long it will take. I was completely ignored. Some items on the menu are very over priced. And the door is always opened even when it was raining outside. Homeless comes in and ask for drinks and get mad when they are told no. The lighting is no existent.

Melissa G.

Yelp
Super good food! Large portion. Mango smoothie was ssssooooo good. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Upon walking in my boyfriend and I wanted to grab a quick bite to eat we thought the place was cute and wanted to support a local restaurant. The customer service was simple and nice but not welcoming. We waited over 20 mins for a basic salad with no avocado but in fact guacamole and chicken strip sand which ANNNDDD. . . We were the only customers in the restaurant. To say the least I don't need to go back there again and this was just my experience but do what you want with my opinion.

Yelp
The fries are really really good I got something like a BLT with turkey bacon and a latte boba

Jimmy V.

Yelp
The food is working in the food industry for 32 years. I can say the sandwiches were amazing. I had the 49er and my coworker had the roastbeef

Zach B.

Yelp
It sticks out in the tenderloin as a nice clean spot with unique food. Ive gone twice and had sandwiches both times and both times i was suprised at how good the food was. Twists on vlassic sandwiches like adding diced lemon and basil to what normally might be just a tuna melt Its prices are reasonable and they have indoor seating...they also take EBT if you are on government assistance. I highly recommend.

Yelp
DA SPOT September 28, 2022 Previously called "Emos" in San Francisco's Tenderloin, which was a coffee-house and light and simple foods. Is now called "Da Spot", which changed their culinary menu by leaps and bounds for the better. "Da Spot" specializes in "Hal Lal" Middle Eastern Quisine which has absolutely healthy and very fresh food. One of the things I particularly look for when I eat at a restaurant is cleanliness, good service, and great quality in food service (meaning the food itself being healthy). The proprietors at "Da Spot" obviously love to prepare good food...you can taste the high quality and love literally. I had a sandwich called on menu "49'ers", not only was it a really healthy sandwich, but it was a mini-meal, that did not land in your stomach like a ton of rocks. I loved "Emos", but I love "Da Spot" even more, because I am particular about my food service in public places and I have to recommend "Da Spot" even more...beautiful f

Yelp
Da Hot Spot is a little secret hiding in plain view on the corner of Jones and Turk Streets. The menu consist of your average sandwich shop offerings but with a San Francisco twist. My favorite sandwich is the Giants sandwich. If you go there you must try it. Also, they have smoothies and teas available. You have your choice to dine in or to sit out front and people watch. I recommend you try out the spot if you're in the Tenderloin.

Yelp
So I've been going to this place for a minute using the restroom all this s*** but now today it seem like it was a problem they expect every time you go to the bathroom they want you to purchase something I mean damn a cinnamon roll and a soda cost $7 so every time I have to go to the restroom every 2 hours they think I'm going to pay for that so today it was a problem they act all funny style and all the s*** so I told them don't even worry about it I don't even want to use your bathroom anymore your food is not that great it's high price y'all want to charge people $4 for eight wings like what the f*** so y'all then cool and I get a ass a negative zero

bbb s.

Yelp
The food are amazing but you got a wait a little bit for it. They make some good pizza and them steak sandwiches

Myiesha G.

Yelp
I work in the area so I've had way better. The lady who made my caramel Frappuccino was interesting, $7.50 I ask for extra caramel around my cup like the picture, but she only put it at the bottom of my cup. She changed me $8.25 and did not do what I paid extra for. Super annoying, you want what you pay for. Still gave her a $1 tip because I don't treat people that way.

Arielle U.

Yelp
Yummy chicken shawarma! The owner gave us free baclava too. The meal was da bomb! Loved it

Destiny J.

Yelp
The sandwiches are good, not worth the price. You have to make sure you order it there or else they mess up your order if you call.
