"At this point, you could probably set your alarm around your next local poké shop opening, but Da Kikokiko rises above the rest for several reasons. For one, its Playa Vista location is ideal for all the techies looking for a healthy break and secondly, the poké itself is actually great. They have their own signature bowls, but our move is to build-your-own (with hamachi and seaweed noodle salad base). The place is well-run and efficient, and that shaved ice situation is not to be missed - just don’t think about the calories at that point." - Jess Basser Sanders, Brant Cox

I've been here many times. This place would be 5 stars in my book. They use fresh ingredients and mix all the food well unlike many places who just lightly toss the dressing. I've never been disappointed until this visit. They had the gut to put wilted kale in my bowl. Come on! This is not $13 quality. Hoping this is just a one time thing. Updating august 2017, the last few times I've visited the quality had gone back to normal. Changing the review to 5 stars.

This is by far my favorite poke place on the west side. I live in Playa Vista so I get to come here often and it never disappoints. I prefer the Hamachi bowl on their "grain blend" with added tempura crunch and avocado. The fish is top notch sushi grade and the flavors are incredible. Stop by and have a tasty bowl!

Really easy going in there. They offer Dole whips and shaved ice as well as spam musubi and of course poke. They ingredients are quality and offer a variety of options. One of the many ventures of Top Chef Brooke Williamson. Great quick bite to eat.

Overall, a disappointing experience. Got two bowls, eggplant and hamachi. Both were swimming in sauce. The fish seemed to be good quality, but the hamachi bowl had so much citrus sauce it was impossible to taste anything else. The sauce on the eggplant was less overwhelming but there was still way too much. As for the place itself, it looks nice inside but just like with the food there seems to be a day-to-day management issue or a quality control problem. The cashier wasn’t rude, but wasn’t welcoming or friendly. The A$AP Ferg bumping from the kitchen was pretty weird together with the ukulele music playing loud in the dining area. Not a good combo. Really wanted to like this place. Maybe we’ll give it another try another time, but it won’t be for the poke.

Best poke I’ve ever had. Reasonable price, fast and fresh. I would also note that it was one of the first things I could comfortably eat after getting braces, the fish is that soft and the rice is flavorful because of the sauces.

Pricey but when you combine fresh fish with seaweed salad (instead of white rice) your poke bowl transforms into a delicious meal

We love this place!! We usually build our own like bowls at poke restaurants but get the preset ones here. The spicy yellowfin tuna is so good we get it every time. We've added some small changes each time to change it up but the flavors are so good! The guy at the front was very helpful our first time and helped us decide. They also have a punch card which is a nice bonus since we like it so much. Their spam musubi is really good too. Comes out really warm. Their small is deceivingly big. Highly recommend.

I used to love this place, but they are inconsistent and often mess up my order by missing crucial ingredients/toppings. Even if you order a bowl that is on the menu you have to check it because they will switch the type of fish or skip an essential topping. I can't order the salmon anymore because it is WAY too salty! They cure it in salt and on a good day it's delicious, but more often than not I can barely eat it. Yesterday my tuna was cut into pieces but it was all attached as one piece because of a chewy muscle line. Gross. The spicy mayo is good. I really wish I could keep going here, but it's too unreliable.
