The food was delicious, and while I haven't had much experience with Vietnamese food, it seemed very authentic. I had vermicelli noodles with the beef short ribs and ordered my sauce medium hot. The sauce was delicately sweet and the dishes all had fresh herbs and ingredients that were perfectly balanced. Medium hot was exactly what I would expect medium hot to be, not to wimpy and not burning my head off. Our waiter suggested the spring rolls, which were also really good. The peanut sauce served with the spring rolls was delicious and completely different than any other peanut sauce I have had... more sweet and sour and less like peanut butter compared to Thai peanut sauce. My husband and I were there pretty late for a Tuesday night, and the dining room was mostly empty, however we had just about perfect service. We weren't ignored and we weren't hovered over either. Our waiter even went out of his way to get the kitchen to make me a to-go mango sweet rice dessert (they were already closed when we were leaving). We will definitely be going back. Good food, great value, good atmosphere. :)
