Da Noi

Restaurant felt warm welcoming for my family of 5 but also sophisticated. I had top service, charming to my kiddos, customized drinks and plates for 8 and 11 yr old, and most importantly the food was excellent and authentic. Got appitizers, entrees, and dessert. They brought out complementary plate of vegetables with amazing sweet potato croquettes. Make sure you get a cappuccino with dessert. Did i mention great service. I loved our experience. Thanks!!

My husband and I celebrated our 34th Anniversary at Da Noi. My had his heart set on Veal Parmigiana. He so sad when he didn't see it on the menu. He asked our waiter if they could make Veal Parmigiana. He was so surprised and happy that they could make it for him. I had ordered the Shrimp Parmigiana. Both dishes came with a generous serving of spaghetti. For desert I had a delicious Tiramisu. My husband opted for the Lemon sherbet which he absolutely enjoyed.

I have been a part of the Da Noi family for over 25 years! I love all the servers! And management! I am also accommodated and greeted with respect! In addition, I've met and networking with so many wonderful and professional people!

I recently tried Da Noi on Staten Island, and it was a great find. Right from the start, they served up hot, fresh bread that set a perfect tone for the meal. I had the mussels and calamari to start, and both were delicious—fresh and cooked just right. For my main course, I had the ravioli, which was fantastic with its tender pasta and rich filling. There are a lot of other tempting dishes on the menu that I’m looking forward to trying next time. What really stood out was how authentic and cozy the place felt. The food is top-notch, and it’s so much easier than heading into Manhattan, Brooklyn. The place is clean, the vibe is warm, and the staff is really friendly. If you’re on Staten Island and want a great Italian meal without the commute, Da Noi is definitely worth a visit. They have two locations on Staten Island and also one in New Jersey. I’m already looking forward to going back!

Da Noi is still one of my favorite restaurants on the island. The staff treat you like family. Today was my first visit since the fire. It was great to see friendly faces. The renovation of the space was great. I like the new touches. The menu is the same and as good as before.

We were visiting my son at college and decided to give it a try. We went at 12n on a Sunday when it opened. The waiters were so kind and friendly. Never had an empty water glass. Food was phenomenal. Great first experience for us eating at a great Italian place on Staten Island

Food was yummy. I had the veal, which I never choose. I'm glad I did! We had a nice gathering, work related. The set price was very fair. Service was great too!

I had a birthday party for my daughter here! The hospitality is GREAT! The service is excellent! Sedak and Peter are helpful in organizing a party to go smooth. Daniel and the wait staff are terrific as well. The food is deliscious. I will come back here again and again ! Thank you !

Great local Italian place in Staten Island (and they also have a location in NJ). They don't have a ton of veg options but the chef can make things for you! He made us the penne alla vodka which was amazing! Great service and great staff!

Vegetarian update: One of the best Italian food I had in NY. The menu does not have ton of vegetarian options but the chef will make few things in vegetarian. I tried the penne alla vodka which were fab! The bread basket given before the food was fab! It looked and tasted very fresh. The staff is extremely friendly and sweet. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend to check this place out.

I'm never disappointed with Da Noi! The food and the service are fantastic. I always have the Rigatoni Cipullo with ground sweet sausage, prosciutto and cream. Tonight they had a ribeye as a special with roast peppers, onions and potatoes - to die for. They also make a good cocktail!

Food came out super late and quality was really disappointing. Was wrong choice for romantic night. Wouldn't go back.

sub par at best. everything was "ok." still not sure why the potato croquets had powdered sugar on top. Staff was excellent. Food? not so much.

I've never heard the phrase 'downtown Staten Island', but I'll accept it blindly because it sounds cool. I only stopped by for an espresso here on my walk home (because why settle for starbucks for your commute?) and it was a nice way to spend 10-15 mins at the bar of this intimate and elegant restaurant. The owner seemed like a cool guy, for whatever that's worth.

We came here for our 10th wedding anniversary. GREAT choice. COVID support was present so all was good. We had an early supper, so glad to help out a local business . We started with a huge portobello mushroom stuffed with crabmeat served on an amazing garlic sauce, and a shrimp cocktail. For the main course we had Chilean sea bass that was perfectly complimented by a white wine sauce with capers, fennel, asparagus.. Always enjoy the bass .. Good wine suggestions from our server.. Great experience and will come back again.

Super pretty restaurant especially after the remodel great to have a party downstairs. The price is great and the food is yummy but on the smaller side when it comes to portion sizes

I wish I could give more as the service is great but the prices do not justify the food. I have one favorite appetizer and have been back three times just for it but always ordering underwhelming entrees. For 110 bucks for lunch for two girls who split an entree I think it's too steep considering where we are and the quality of food

Ambiance:a bit more the casual. Nice traditional Italian restaurant setting Service: the service was good. Waiter was prompt and friendly. Never had to ask to more drinks or bread. Very attentive. Food: appetizer we ordered an eggplant dish that was stuffed with spinach and cheese and mozzarella. Had the white salad as well. The eggplant was amazing but the white salad we weren't super impressed with. We saw so many come out we thought we would try it. For my entree, I had spinach and cheese ravioli In Tomato cream sauce. That sauce was amazing! Food was fresh and homemade.

This place is absolutely fantastic! The food and service was excellent. I had the sea bass and it's probably the best sea bass dish I've ever had. The side dish which seemed like hush puppy sweet potatoes was excellent as well, I've never had those before but now I "dream" of them all the time hahaha! Can't wait to go back when I'm in Staten Island again

The atmosphere was nice and not to noisy. I went for a going away party with co workers. The food was yummy, but the portions were a little small for the prices. I'm not sure if I would go again, bit if u like Italian this place could be for u.

Great food, great service. The veal cutlet parmigiana was delicious. I had the cheesecake as well and it was excellent.

This place is the tits. Best Italian food on the island and honestly hard to beat anywhere else. The only critique I would have of this place is the desert menu but that's my preference. Wish they would make a fluffy esq cake instead of the brownie type cake that's so heavy and thick . The staff 10/10 The parking 5/10 (if you have a low car be careful, you will bottom out at the entrance into their parking otherwise park elsewhere and walk) Bartender .she cool af. Very friendly and inviting when you walk in. Manager or owner always greets you with a smile . Over all great dining experience and atmosphere. (I dine here once a week) and felt The need to write something nice after coming to other shitty places on Staten Island. This place a gem.

After a full day of travelling, we showed up for a very early dinner. Sitting wasn't an issue for our group of 7. We pretty much had the full attention of the wait staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the Insalata Bianca and the Pollo Castelli Romana. Two others had the Penne alla Melanzane and really enjoyed it. They thought it had a good flavor with just enough seasoning. My parents split the Spaghetti Bolognese and liked the taste and doneness of the spaghetti. I had a cannoli to end the meal and it was delicious. Getting to watch the maître d making all kinds of hand gestures and pulling his hair over a soccer game was really entertaining too. I'd recommend Da Noi.

The food was about 2 stars, while paying for 4. I expected way better from this place, although I have not been there for a few years. My last visit was 4 stars. This seemed like they were recycling food, terrible culinary experience. The service was however much better. Disappointed.

The owner finally contacted me and was apologetic. He provided me a refund and offered to make me a new dish. I'm happy he reached out!

Slow service, my daughter almost swallowed a piece of plastic wrap the forgot to remove, and the Caesar salad dressing was rancid.

OMG, Da Noi Downtown Staten Island was simply incredible. It's kind of the place to go in this area. Such a great menu, it was seriously hard to choose, but I am really happy that I bought Pollo Castelli Romana. The crew was very welcoming and service is wonderful. We will be returning soon, with friends, and trying the other dishes.

Last night I went to a colleagues dinner at Da Noi and it was delicious!! I enjoyed everything that was served.. we were a very large group..approximately 50 people..they started with a delicious simple salad and then 2pastas.. a gnocchi and a delicious marinara sauce..then we had a choice of sole, chicken parmigiana or veal Marsala..I chose the sole and it was delicious.. they brought out mixed vegetables for the table..delicious.. the atmosphere was wonderful..bar area was nice..I had a glass of Prosecco..my colleague had the chicken parmigiana and he enjoyed it!! Then we were served cheese cake & tiramisu.. i was so full i couldn't eat the dessert..but i heard No complaints!! Everything was delicious! We all left full!! I would recommend Da Noi highly!!

Celebrated my son's 23rd birthday last night at Da Noi Downtown Staten Island. The food was fantastic with great ambiance. The cannoli's served were so fresh, delicious, and, made for a great birthday mood with candles, and, a "Happy Birthday" song by the servers. Of course, finishing our dessert off with cappuccino's was a must. The owner and servers were very attentive throughout, and, made sure our car was waiting at valet when ready to leave. Don't wait, make your reservation now!

This place was one of the worst meals I ever had. I honestly don't know how they stay in business. The food is not just bad, but aggressively bad. There is no possible way that the chef is italian. Do NOT waste your time or money!

Best food I've eaten on Staten Island so far! I went there for my birthday and the waiter was very nice and accommodating. The atmosphere was dark and intimate. I like the old Italian decor. I also loved that they played old music from the 20s or 30s. The prices are a little expensive, but the portions are pretty big and you are paying for great food. My fiance and I order the one of the special appetizers they had that day. It was mussels in a red or white sauce. We got the red sauce and it was so good. I don't know what about the sauce was so tasty. It had the right blend of tomato and spices. It was not salty or overbearing like other sauces can be. After we were done with the mussels, we asked for more bread so we could dip it in the leftover sauce. =) I ordered the fusille ai salmone as my entree and I was so happy I did. It was a huge plate of pasta and a huge portion of salmon. They call the sauce a pink sauce because it was cream and tomato. Again, one of the best sauces I had ever tasted. I couldn't get enough. Too bad I was already full before on the other sauce. With our meal, we also got fresh broccoli seasoned with olive oil and these little dough puffs covered with powdered sugar. It tasted like a deep fried cream puff. Sweet, moist, and the perfect ending to this meal. I was way too stuffed for dessert or I would have tried the tiramisu.

Great local vibe - sat at bar, bartender JD has great outgoing personality. Risotto w porcini very good! Service a bit slow, but vibe was fun so it was ok.. As was music! Recommend

First time eating from here, I'm really picky on where I eat, I work in a fine dining restaurant myself, and I can definitely say that the chicken parm I ordered from here together with the rigatoni bolognese was one of the bests I've had.

We were invited to a party held here and had a great time! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was perfect and the staff was more than polite and accommodating! There was no valet when we arrived, but we may have been early coming from Long Island, and because of the travel the Hostess allowed us to come in and freshen up while we waited.

Our favorite Italian restaurant on SI. Delicious food, excellent service and very accommodating. Can't wait to go back.

I've been to this Da Noi once prior. Its a great italian restaurant. They serve quality rustic italian fair. Also they have another restaurant mid island which I've been to plenty of times. The restaurant is easy to find and has valet or easy street parking. When walking in there is a cute small bar area where you can sit an relax while waiting for your table. To the left and back is the restaurant area. Its beautifully decorated with warm colors. They also have great art on the walls. On this occasion I was here for a party. The food was stellar. Fried Calamari was tender, eggplant rollatini in a vodka sauce was delicious perfectly cooked. Hot fresh bread from the time we walked in. We had a choice from two pastas one homemade spinach pinwheel with pink sauce or pomodoro. I picked the home made. I think it did lack a tad flavor and it was a little mushy but it was still very good. For entree I chose veal Marsala with their signature veg and dumplings just amazing.. Veal was tender sauce was on point the best meal. Perfect! The mixed drinks were made excellent. The wait staff was fun, easy going and very accommodating. Im so excited to come back for dinner you must try this place!!

Everything here is correct. Service is nice and professional - still don't know how the barista knew exactly what wine I want just from "smooth and fruity". The place is usually not crowded so reservation is no needed. Nice round tables with white clothes- very official Italian restaurant. Good place for family dinner, not my style for date with my BF. For appetizers we got: Insalata Francescana with beets and greens Fried calamari - crispy outside, soft and NOT gummy inside. Insalata Bianca with artichokes, hearts of palms and mushrooms. Mussels in tomatoes sauce (!) - very good. Especially soaking warm bread in the sauce - mniam! As the main course my BF and I shared pasta special - black pasta with asparagus, calamaris and fish - it was good.His mum got osso bucco - she had to order it in advance as its not available everyday. It's her favorite there. His dad got mussels - as a main course the portion is bigger - means more sauce:) Just order them as a main dish even though their in different section on the menu. After big dinner they all got coffee and I got almond ice cream dessert - again good. To sum up 3,5 starts! a plus for life music!

Da Noi Downtoen Fingerboard is back and better than ever!!! I had a birthday Party for 80 people and it was nothing short of AMAZING! I worked with the owner Eddie who understood what I wanted and definitely executed it! The staff was AMAZING! The food was exceptional and plentiful! The attention to detail was second to none!!! The renovation is gorgeous.. it's bright and modern and totally different than what it was!! I highly recommend you give it a try for dinner and/or if you are looking for a place to have a party!! Thank you Eddie and the staff at DaNoi!!!!

All very superior. The put bruschetta on the table with pesto. Delicious. The waiter described the specials with great detail. Mentioned all ingredients and I say, with accuracy. I had one of the specials, Chilean sea bass. The others had chicken dishes, and shrimp parm. Everyone was very satisfied. During the meal the give a plate of grilled veggies, with Polenta pillows, deep fried with powdered sugar, as you would see on a zeppole. I can't even begin to tell you how delicious this is. You are treated well here. The restaurant is super clean and inviting. Tables aren't on top of each other. If you dont like Da Noi, stay home. You can't be satisfied. My compliments to the owner, manager and everyone associated with delivering a superior dining experience.

Fingerboard Road: Excellent food, service, and atmosphere! Bartenders are friendly and officiant. Definitely worth checking out!

Went there for dinner at about 7 pm and the place was padlocked. Prior to going there I tried calling both sites and no answer and no message request. I can only assume they are closed.

Once again Eddie and his amazing team did it again. My daughters Baby Shower was held at the world famous Da Noi - from what everyone has told us the food and service were off the chart. They took care of all our guest and made the day wonderful. Thank you to PT for coordinating the lunch and looking out for the ladies. Please if you are looking to have an affair please take a ride over to Da Noi on Fingerboard Rd. Go for dinner and sample the great food and amazing service.

Always a pleaser with a great history of "locals". Pastas were excellent I had veal that was perfect the polenta is Fantastic but the chicken livers stole the show the best I have ever had

The place is so inviting and the service is excellent. One of the best Italian food you will ever eat. The drinks are right on point and you will have a enjoyable time if is a date, birthday, work, retirement party or any occasion the place is great.

Great flavors. Had the stuffed artichoke, Rotolo Montanara and Pollo Giambotta. All delicious. Large portions. The artichoke was served with a sauce that was great. Soaked it up with bread. The artichoke took ten minutes. Was worth the wait. Friendly and attentive staff. Old time feel. Will be back.

So we placed an order for delivery and waited three hours and still no delivery! So we called contact service whom looked into our order waited on the phone for twenty min just to find out that they could not deliver our order!!! Meanwhile we received order for delivery confirmation and they took our payment in 3.2 sec so now I have to wait 3 to 4 weeks to be reimbursed!!!! So as far as rating the food couldn't tell you never got a chance to taste it! But I can tell you that this experience is bad business. Very underwhelmed!!

Fantastic place, great menu that deviates from the traditional Italian American fare that is all over Staten Island. I have been eating here for a few years and have always left happy. I am a fan of both of the Staten Island Da Noi locations. Food is fantastic at both places. Victory Blvd location gets a slight advantage for the atmosphere, (a bit more cozy)... This location gets a slight advantage for the staff. They are great in both places, but always bend over backwards in the Fingerboard location. They have my favorite Tawny port wine, which I always induldge in when visiting the gang at Da Noi.

Very good. Average Italian restaurant. Nothing stands out. The service was fine. We had the Halibut ($29) very tasty. A little pricy for the area in my opinion, (2 people without drinks...$105) YES.....I WOULD GO AGAIN.

Da Noi was good. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was overall very good. We came here for Mother's Day dinner. We ordered a few pitchers of Sangria.. they were the little pitchers but it was tasty and not too light. We ordered Caesar salad and fried calamari for appetizers. The salad was your typical Caesar salad and the calamari was good although the portion was small. I ordered rigatoni with bolognese sauce. It was good, the sauce could have used a little more seasoning but it was decent. The other guest liked their food as well but agreed that some more seasoning for flavor would be nice. The sides were very tasty! The string beans and carrots were flavored very nicely and the dishes also came with these dumplings (idk what they were) The waiter said that they are fried dough with some powered sugar on it. They were so good! I ate almost all of them myself lol. I've heard a lot about this restaurant and I'm glad I got a chance to check them out. I would give it 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Updating since my last review: I adore this place. I knocked down a star because I only order the same meal every time. Tropical Salad & Veal Martini. I have tried other dishes in the past and have not been as satisfied. I have eaten here with family and friends but most of us order the veal. My mother in law always orders the fish and is always satisfied. I wanted to be as objective as I could. I still love this place and to me it is a 5 star restaurant. Because of the lack of variety in the food that I've eaten it's hard to keep it a 5/5.

Service was wonderful, I had only mentioned it was my father in law's birthday while we were ordering drinks. Something to the likes of, "it's your birthday, get whatever you want". And they brought out a nice piece of cheese cake, which was delicious and sang. Chicken Sorrentino was fresh and on the bone. I also had a delicious buffalo mozzarella salad with mango, figs and strawberries. Highly recommended, they have a place for parties too.

My boyfriend and his family took me here on my first day in New York City ever (I know, I know, I'm late to the party). The restaurant was packed and bustling, but our waiter was still particularly attentive and knew the menu inside and out. Every dish that came to the table was fantastic, the wine was great, I had the best peach martini of my life (twice!), and all around I was thrilled. Next time I'm in Staten Island, I'll be looking forward to going here again.
