"For a breakfast better suited to Ron Swanson than Barbie, head instead to Da Remo, an Italian restaurant with a killer menu of three-egg omelets, croissant breakfast sandwiches, and Belgian waffles served with crispy bacon and griddled potatoes." - Janna Karel

I recently visited Da Remo at MonteLago Village in Lake Las Vegas, and it was an absolutely stellar experience—hands down a 5-star gem! Tucked into the charming, Mediterranean-style village, this coffee shop is a perfect blend of cozy vibes and top-notch quality. The moment I walked in, the warm aroma of freshly roasted coffee and the sight of the lake in the distance had me hooked. The coffee selection is phenomenal. I tried their signature cappuccino, and it was perfection—rich, frothy, and made with obvious care. They source their beans with intention, and you can taste the difference! They also had a great range of options—lattes, cold brews, and even unique seasonal specials that tempted me to order a second cup. The pastries were just as impressive; the almond croissant was flaky, buttery, and paired beautifully with my drink. The staff at Da Remo were incredible—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about coffee. They took the time to chat about the brew methods and even recommended a perfect pairing for my taste. The service was quick but never felt rushed, and the atmosphere was so inviting—cute tables inside with a rustic charm and a patio overlooking the lake that made sipping my coffee feel like a mini vacation. The location in MonteLago Village is unbeatable. After grabbing my coffee, I strolled along the cobblestone paths and enjoyed the stunning lake views—it’s the ideal spot to relax and recharge. Da Remo elevates the whole experience of Lake Las Vegas with its quality and heart. I can’t wait to come back and make this my go-to spot! Five stars all the way—thank you, Da Remo, for a truly delightful visit

Fabrizio at Da Remo in Lake Las Vegas was a spectacular host and server to us. We walked in on a hot day and were met with kindness and great hospitality! My mom ordered the Roma Salad with chicken. I asked Fabrizio what he recommended of their croissant sandwiches. He suggested the Tacchino BLT. He also encouraged us to try what he called “Italy’s best pastry” (I don’t remember the name) but all of this food was absolutely beautiful, flavorful, and incredible! We sat outside in the shade and enjoyed the view of the lake. We cannot recommend this place enough! Bring your mom, dad, brother, sister, cousin, dog! This place is a must try if you end up in Lake LAs Vegas! It’s great!

Had a great breakfast here. They have seating outdoors by the lake and are just very nice overall. Will definitely be back when we return to Lake Las Vegas.

My wife and I live local, and we wanted to try this spot. It reminds you of a small cafe you might find in Europe. Overall, I thought the food was great and that justified the price for me. They make just about everything fresh. I got the omelet platter and stuffed it with everything they offered. Plus, it came with a link of sausage, a hash brown patty (not home made which made me say, "Meh"), and some pretty thick toast. Not small portions here at all. Worth the $18, IMO. My wife got the caprese avocado toast. She was definitely happy with it, but it had a side-salad that they put thousand island dressing on. She's not a fan of that. But we know for next time to ask them to leave the dressing off or change it out. Again, good portions. Nice balsamic reduction. Lots of pastry options -- quiches, croissants, Danishes, etc. Cappuccinos were nice, too. Small place inside. Three tables that seat four people, and two tables that seat two people. However, lots of seating right outside by the water. Nice place to eat and chill. Staff was really friendly. Definitely a spot I'd recommend.

Google
This is a great breakfast/lunch place! The location is beautiful and has a great view of the lake. Their food tasted fresh and delicious, quality ingredients that make all of their dishes work. Any of their croissant sandwiches are what I recommend, great flavors. For what you pay you get your money's worth with any combination plate as well. Their pastries are also delicious and worth a try (I tried the cherry turnover and apple pastry). The pastries were freshly made and great quality and perfectly sweet but not too much. Got an iced chai latte and it was also very well made and a good size. I recommend this place any time you don't know where to eat for breakfast especially.

Well, first off you walk in don’t even get greeted. My husband said good morning and was totally ignored. Service totally sucked. The man behind the counter was so rude. Then we ordered the salmon, avocado toast, it was horrible! Worst salmon I have ever eaten and worst experience I have ever had in Las Vegas. Do not recommend.

Google
A must go for breakfast. Great family business with quality food. Very European Italian and fresh. Waffle was incredibly fluffy, best ever. French toast thick and perfect balance. Friendly service.

Google
My husband and I stopped by for breakfast, but honestly, we left pretty disappointed. I had a panini, he had a sandwich, and both were just… bad. The salad looked sad, and the food itself was no better than something you’d grab from a cheap supermarket. On top of that, the outdoor tables were dirty, which didn’t help the experience. The only saving grace? The view was nice. But for the price we paid, we expected way better. Definitely not a place we’d go back to.

Yelp
In A Nutshell: -Da Remo is a European style cafe that I usually stop by for a bite to eat whenever I am in the Lake Las Vegas area. -I popped in over the weekend after doing a recon bike ride for a triathlon coming up. -I was definitely hungry afterwards, so I stopped by again for a nice, thick omelet w/ sausage. Overall, you can sit inside or outside & the service is very fast & the food is always good.

Yelp
Da Remo has a lot going for it--mainly the view. Nestled in a scenic spot on Lake Las Vegas, this breakfast spot offers a stunning backdrop that's perfect for a leisurely morning. Unfortunately, the food doesn't quite match the setting. The menu is underwhelming, with offerings that feel uninspired and lacking in flavor. For a place with such a prime location, I expected dishes as memorable as the view, but everything we ordered was just...meh. Nothing stood out, and the lack of creativity in the menu was disappointing-also out of so many items. If you're looking for a great place to sip coffee and soak in the scenery, Da Remo works. But if you're hoping for a standout breakfast, you might want to look elsewhere.

Yelp
We had a very, very good lunch on the patio. Service was excellent, very friendly. We both loved our meals and will return for sure!

Coburn S.

Yelp
Da Remo is a small bakery/coffee shop in the lake Las Vegas Village that provides fresh pastries, sandwiches and coffee drinks. Each of the barista's that I dealt with the week that I was there were very inviting and open to making my difficult lattes. There are a few tables inside, but most of their seating is alfresco outside on the patio overlooking the lake. Most days I got the white chocolate latte with amaretto, and I also tried their quiche, croissants, and a breakfast sandwich. Everything was very tasty and I would definitely recommend this coffee shop if you were in the lake Las Vegas area.

John T.

Yelp
Five star today...owner took our order and a wonderful service delivered our cofees and food. Avocado toast and French toast with fresh berries fit the brekkie bill to day. My mocha cappuccino was one of the best I've had...anywhere. A definite upgrade in service and food from our last visit. We will be back.

Natasha Z.

Yelp
I am a new resident of Lake Las Vegas, and I invited 2 friends to drink coffee with me at Da Remo Cafe. Unfortunately, I received disrespectful treatment from the employees there. A guy who calls himself 'Fabrizio' gave me oat milk even though I asked for regular milk. It seems he did it on purpose. He was very not nice nor patient and not helpful. When I found out I was drinking oat milk, I asked for a change, and he just ignored me and took his time changing my coffee. It seems the cafe workers are making fun of the customers with their attitude. The contemptuous, offensive, and insulting treatment I received does not characterize the quality of the neighborhood. This is my first and absolutely my last time here. Those who disrespect customers do not get money.

Chad D.

Yelp
This place has GREAT coffee! I actively look for places that have great coffee and it tends to be hit or miss! I got a cappuccino from this place and it was very smooth and the coffee was strong! I also got avocado toast from this place as well and it tasted amazing. I would drive out here again just for the coffee and breakfast. The guy who is working here is super cool and you're right on the water so the ambience is on point as well

Michael J.

Yelp
I went to Da Remo in the village for a strong cup of coffee to sit outside for a few minutes on a beautiful morning. I was the only one inside to order, and it took the young lady behind the counter 10 minutes to acknowledge I was standing there, and then 18 minutes to make an Americano, which was weaker than any coffee you might get at a fast food restaurant. Da Remo needs to do better.

Kristin S.

Yelp
Visited Da Remo during a staycation at Lake Las Vegas. When ordering, I saw that there was Chai on the menu. An iced chai sounded so good on that 100+ degree day, however when I ordered it, the man at the front got very upset and went on a tirade about how he doesn't have chai. Apparently I wasn't the only one asking for it that day. I ended up just doing an iced latte and my husband got one of their alcoholic drinks - El Cafecito. Both were really good. For lunch I got the Traditional Avocado Toast and my husband got the Caprese Panini. Both were ok. The bread on the avocado toast was amazing. I went to use the bathroom and there was no toilet paper or paper towels. Once again, that made the man annoyed when I mentioned it. Would have been a five star visit if I was treated better. I really should have walked out after his tirade about the chai but coffee options are very limited in Lake Las Vegas.

Digvijay S.

Yelp
Came here twice during our stay at the Westin. The whole area is really nice to walk through and enjoy the scenery. We sat by the patio, which was right next to the water where all the events were going on. Coffee tasted delicious. The sandwiches were made fresh with the right amount of meat and egg. The potatoes were soft and seasoned well along with the veggies. The staff was friendly. Overall, we had a great time.

Emma B.

Yelp
Great staff, busy location but quick service. Delicious coffee and pastries. Will be back, great authentic experience.

Robbin B.

Yelp
Since the opening of Da Remo I've stopped in several times. I enjoy the oat milk latte and the wonderful friendly employees who work here. My Daughter typically chooses a cold brew coffee and pastry. Her favorite thus far is the warmed chocolate croissant with an flakey exterior & layers of airy yumminess - delish!

Craig B.

Yelp
Fantastic food and a great view! The service is prompt and the coffee is delicious. The patio is clean and as a treat

Lauren C.

Yelp
Da Remo replaced Le Cafe du Lac by the water sports area at Lake Las Vegas. The food and service were fine, but not memorable. The inside of the cafe as well as patio area have remained unchanged. It has a cute French feel. The menu was pretty big with toasts, sandwiches, salads, breakfast items, and coffee. They had a decent selection of French pastries in the case. I was intrigued by the wine and charcuterie options. I was helped without a long wait and my food didn't take long to be prepared. I wasn't sure I'd have time to finish my food so I requested it packed up and they packed it nicely. The employees weren't overly warm or welcoming. I ordered Salmon Affumicato which was a fancy name for salmon toast. The grainy bread was soft with smoked salmon, pesto, avocado, and red onion. The flavors didn't stand out to me. The side greens with honey mustard were basic. The best part of this cafe is the outdoor seating with views of the water and village. I could see returning on a nice day with a friend or my little one, but the food alone wouldn't draw me back in.

Hanna L.

Yelp
As cute as this location was, the restaurant is dirty unfortunately (they need to seriously clean the place) bathroom was dirty first thing in the morning which means they don't clean often. And when a bathroom is dirty you can bet the kitchen is too. The omelet was delicious! 2 stars for that! The pancakes however...for 4 dollar sized pancakes $10 it's overpriced and not worth it. The drinks are all served in their original bottles and not fresh FYI. Wouldn't come again honestly. Paid $50 dollars for a breakfast we could have eaten like kings at some really good breakfast places in town. Guess you pay for the view. Disappointing.

James R.

Yelp
Oh my, what an incredibly authentic Italian restaurant. Cooking is done in true Italian fashion by family from Rome, Italy. It's authentic, it's real. Everything is wonderful, and best omelette I ever had. If you like Americano coffee, what Starbucks serves is a 3 to this 10!

Brian S.

Yelp
1st time coming to this restaurant in the village of Lake Las Vegas. Ambiance- Pretty small inside with seating inside with small tables for two along with outside seating for parties of four. When sitting outside there may be some hungry pigeons that will come to your table. So don't feed them unless you want uninvited guests begging. Service -The service is excellent and fast. Friendly guys working here and super efficient. No complaints. Food - this is the reason for knocking down a star. I understand it's Lake Las Vegas in the village and everything is on the pricey side.. but for what we paid for the omelette and my Boogee coffee... the quality wasn't there for me. Bacon wasn't cooked all the way and slightly greasy. I guess next time I would have to say cook the bacon to well done. The toast had way too much butter. I guess next time I will have to mention easy butter. The Omelette was just ok nothing too special to comment on that.... The price we paid should have had better quality food. Would I come back? Yes, but spending around $50 bucks for two I believe is excessive for what you get.

Ray M.

Yelp
Great food, fast service, amazing location next to to the lake Las Vegas, Fabricho and Georgia are very friendly

Dave W.

Yelp
I happened upon this Italian cafe on the very first morning they opened! Five people were working here figuring out how to make everything happen! They serve coffee, pastries, crepes, paninis and more. I, of course, got an espresso and inquired as to its origin. It was very smooth and clearly medium, not dark, roast. The barista was from Roma and explained the coffee is Italian and made by Danesi. I was excited to have an Italian caffe I've never tried before!! It's milk chocolatey and smooth and my nephew totally enjoyed it also! Seek it out and try an espresso in the Italian style. That means drink it fresh and quickly at the counter. There is no such thing as "coffee to go" in Italy! Life is good with a new Italian cafe!

M V.

Yelp
We went here this morning nearly right as they opened. It's a great location and quite pretty inside. There was a good amount of trash laying around just out front of the restaurant, which isn't ever a good look even though it's not directly Da Remo's fault. As other reviews have noted: the food is pretty overpriced when looking at the menu. The service was good, the cashier and waiters were quite nice. The cashier did a great job of being patient and giving other options when they were out of menu items. I asked for what would appear to be their flagship item, the Da Remo Panini aptly named after the restaurant. Somehow, they didn't have the ciabatta bread needed for their paninis. They politely corrected the issue by way of replacing the ciabatta with a croissant.. but it was odd as they JUST opened: how do you not have bread for your full menu list of paninis? Perhaps it's a one-time issue.. but to me that's like a bar being out of beer. We also tried to order a Nutella crepe: we were advised that they "can't make crepes today". Flour+water = pretty much crepes..? Again, an inability to serve items listed on their menu.. crepes and paninis count for half their items. In the food industry that's a bit of a failure. The coffees, however, were wonderful. Ordered both a latte and Frappuccino which were both delicious and the latte was presented beautifully.

Marissa M.

Yelp
Best chai latte I have EVER had! Warm, smooth, frothy Came here during dance competition weekend and we were both so happy with our food! *not pictured: my chai because I finished it so fast!

Pauline G.

Yelp
We went here for father's day brunch. I'm glad we got here early enough just before opening. You have to order your food on the counter before getting seated. There is not enough seating area inside so be prepared to sit outside by the lake especially if you have a bigger party. Lot of birds (which was expected) About 15 minutes later, the inside was already super crowded. There's only so much space inside where you order food and there's only one person taking orders.. or two? Our food did not take too long because like I said, we were the first ones in line. But I can only imagine the wait if we came in any later than that... the food did not disappoint. I got the salmolicious crepe and oh my gahhh, it was sooo good! I do think the price is a little steep but I think it's just like when we eat at the strip, everything is overpriced!!

Alyssa D.

Yelp
They are always out of every type of food. The front counter is usually rude when asked questions and gives attitude. The spot has potential and is very cute decorated but I will not go anymore because the food is not that great and the service is far from great.

Tom H.

Yelp
$5 latte with 95% milk. Server made my drink half way then kept chatting with her people that's getting drunk. First time I didn't give a tip.

Ned R.

Yelp
The food, service, and atmosphere here are awesome. We tried most of the menu and everything was amazing. This a must if you're in the Henderson/Lake Las Vegas area.

Doug P.

Yelp
If you're looking for a high quality Italian breakfast/brunch...then this is the spot! Very friendly staff with delicious coffee and food. The price is a little high but I don't mind spending when the quality is as good as theirs. Grazie!!!

Evelyn C.

Yelp
Ahhhh. So hard to not compare it's predecessor- but that's what I find myself doing. Cafe du Lac was one of our favorites here before but they've moved out. We decided to give it a shot anyways. Decor hasn't changed but the food has a bit. The staff helped us with recommendations for the food. The cheese danish was thick with no flavor. The latte was not good. It was definitely over extracted or they used old beans. There was a bitter note to it. However my meal was good, I ordered the croissant blt and it was very good. Salad with the dressing was very tasty. Still, not the wow I was hoping for.

Patrick F.

Yelp
Such a lovely place for breakfast right on the lake. We loved the ambiance and had great service. Definitely has an authentic Italian vibe. The food was delicious. Our party ordered omelets, sandwiches smoothies and coffee and everyone enjoyed their dish. If you're in the Las Vegas area, no need to drive into Henderson, just eat here!

Patrick L.

Yelp
My wife and I had a staycation at the Hilton, stopped for breakfast at the old Cafe Du Lac , I wish it was still here! Avocado toast had an avocado smear which was likely pre made bought in ! I had a breakfast platter , pre cooked everything and re heated , the reason I know is first I'm in this business and the second it came out in under 5 mins , the coffee was good but for $50 a total rip off , this place won't be here long ! Please do fresh product your charging for it !

Julianne S.

Yelp
We went there yesterday to get pastries- croissant, almond croissant, etc... the only thing they had to offer were Mexican pastries- nothing wrong with that is that's what you expect or like. But this is not a Mexican bakery. This is advertised as an Italian bakery. Service is also 1 star. Not attentive. Rudely told us to wait. We live in the area and unfortunately will not be returning as this spot has progressively gone down.

Chef Airam V.

Yelp
The location of the place is breathtaking, you can see the lake by their outdoor seating. Unfortunately, i ordered a Tonnilicious avocado toast and it lacked flavor. It didn't have the ingredients that their menu described. My avocado toast didn't have any sprouts and the tuna tasted that it was straight out from the can, no seasoning super bland.I was expecting something good out of this place. Their prices are outrageous!

Anni S.

Yelp
Must try! Beautiful location with lovely menu options for breakfast and lunch! Delicious pastry options, coffee and tea! Excellent and kind service

Mike C.

Yelp
Stopped in not expecting much and was completely surprised by how good it was... food and coffee were great... Not sure about the price complaints, If you are price sensitive (IE have a poverty mindset then maybe not for you, however it's not anymore than anywhere else I would go, on par with Starbucks without the burnt flavor and not garbage like Dunkin etc..) the prices are low in comparison for the area and what overhead would dictate, the quality is fantastic (I was at the Westin for a few days while looking at properties and am happy this gem is here)...

Kayleigh C.

Yelp
loved everything i got here. the waffles were so big and fluffy and were so yummy with strawberries. the apple danish was my favoriteeee. avocado toast was pretty good too. wish there was a location closer to me

Olivia H.

Yelp
Food was disappointing, we got the Breakfast Platter and Salmon Avocado toast. The pancakes, sausage and hash brown were frozen and heated up. My avocado was brown and sour. Even though we came first thing, the pastries looked old so we didn't get anything. Points because the concept is cute, staff is nice, the restaurant itself was aesthetic and food was fast (probably because it was warmed up lol).

Rich M.

Yelp
Da Remo Excellent, authentic and wonderful find. Make this newly opened restaurant your next place to eat in the Lake Las Vegas village. Replacing the Cafe Du Lac, this great little Italian breakfast and lunch cozy spot is sure to please your palate with an impressive variety and fine tasting menu. The family has been serving great meals in Italy since 1931 and now we get to enjoy some of the experience here. Listen carefully and every once in a while, you will be hearing the Italian language being spoken amongst the servers and preparers. Exciting foods with high quality presentation and service including paninis, crepes, and salads await you and you wont want to walk away from their wide selection of pastries and cake slices. Dont forgot to indulge in the cappuccino and ciocchola calda (hot chocolate w/ steamed cream). My wife had the great tasting Caprese Avocado Toast w the cappucino while I enjoyed the the Da Remo Panini. For dessert, we had the most delicious cheese danish. This cozy restaurant has great views of the lake, hospitable hosts and servers, super breakfast and lunch menus and local Italian family flare. We left saying "Arrivederci", we will be back!

E D.

Yelp
Have a lovely breakfast over looking Lake Las Vegas. Coffee was good, staff was friendly, omelette and pastries were all good.

M C.

Yelp
This restaurant is beyond disappointing with their hours!!!! They either are running behind or closing early. We have tried to give them numerous chances by continuing to support them and go there for breakfast, lunch and/or for just an afternoon coffee or danish especially since it's so close to home but I swear it's ALWAYS SOMETHING! One morning we went there at 8:05am and there were 2 workers there but they said their kitchen is closed until 8:30am! Why?? This is also a bakery isn't it? Don't bakers start early early in the morning? Another day we went there and the kitchen was closed again, no reasoning just that the kitchen was closed. Make it make sense. Now today, we were on our way there to meet some friends and they said to go somewhere else because Da Remo closed 30 minutes early while 2 employees are hanging out outside! For what!? Don't post that your hours are 8am-3pm daily if that's not true!

Laney C.

Yelp
I live in the neighborhood and called two days in advance to place a very large order. After a few rings, I got a message saying their voice mailbox was full and there was no room to leave a message, so I called The Baguette Cafe on Eastern instead.

James B.

Yelp
Best experience 100%!!! This is not a coffee shop/cafe with a drive through or a trendy brand to it... this is a unique and beautiful cafe that sits in my favorite place of town, Lake Las Vegas, facing the water. Outdoor seating is amazing, with great views. On a hot day, grab a seat that's shaded! The food is amazing. Coffee is obviously European (as I'm not filled with sugar lol) but still very good. They definitely lack marketing and community so I see it more as a hole in the wall, but if they changed those I could easily see them a whole lot busier.

David R.

Yelp
Beautiful at the village, good food great ambiance! Going for breakfast goodies!!! Happy Declaration of this Great America birth in freedom against tyranny!

Lear C.

Yelp
Had a wonderful breakfast! Service is smiley and food was very good. Had a cheese omelette and panini - delicious

Sean H.

Yelp
Overpriced. Overwhelming. Tables are dirty. Pastries not fresh. I don't come back here.

Amy H.

Yelp
We live in LLV and come here sometimes for a brunch or coffee. We have had great food- the Tacchino BLT and Presto Croissant sandwich are awesome. Avocado toast (traditional) great, along with crepes and pastries. My issue here is the service is quite slow and the drinks are very hit and miss. Today I went to meet with friends and ordered a DOUBLE ESPRESSO. It shows up after about 15 mins, and is tiny- like about 1/2 ounce. (wish I would have taken a picture) First of all, any place in US, OR Italy this is not correct. At least 1 oz per shot. It was $5-ish with tip. Tasted ok, but seriously very tiny. Also, I have ordered mimosas before and every time they are very poorly done. They are almost all orange juice with a splash of champagne and it should be the other way around. The orange juice tastes like it has gone bad and I have had friends say they had same experience. I saw several issues with beverages while we sat there, things being returned, whose drink is this etc. Food good, drinks need some work. These are easy things to fix and I hope they do!

Susan M.

Yelp
Went for lunch. Overpriced turkey panini ($17) that was premade and still cold after being warmed in a microwave. That's not a panini. Also waited 20 min for this with no other patrons in the cafe because they were moving something in the kitchen? Spring salad was shriveled and over dressed. The peach vanilla Bellini was delicious and saved this experience ($15). Had to have another server come from the other restaurant to make because person working at counter was under 21. This was fine because she gave us great service and couldn't control what was going on in the kitchen. The cafe was quiet and pleasant, comfy chairs and high tables. Linen napkins are a nice touch. Self serve Water was empty and no ice tea brewed. Likely won't return even though they have chocolate cornettos.

Steve L.

Yelp
I had a really disappointing experience at this cafe. The crepes were very bad - they tasted overcooked and weren't very flavorful. On top of that, the price was very high for the quality of the food. I was also disappointed to find out that this is not an Italian bakery, as I was expecting authentic Italian pastries. The service was also very slow - it took a long time to place my order and for my food to be prepared. Overall, I would not recommend this cafe.

Walter S.

Yelp
Overpriced and underwhelming. Don't really need to say more. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Roberta L.

Yelp
While the croissant was delicious, it was served with egg and not quite cooked bacon. Also a salad with too much dressing that was too tangy. That sandwich was too pricey, but hard to make a profit in a place that requires a lot of walking from the only available parking, with no signage that is helpful to finding particular businesses. No wonder they charge so much. One customer came in and no one helped him, so he left. Not handicap accessible in the whole "village". The restaurant itself has only high tops, not good for short people! On the whole I won't be back.

Collin M.

Yelp
Food decent, they are so close to having it locked but some things like panini's just need a bit more. This place has serious potential! The service was friendly and quick, which always has no complaints there. You cannot beat the scenery. On the lake, nice shady spots, near the water. Very nice. This place has potential, just for the price of the menu, it just needs more
