Dumpling Daughter to Expand to Brookline From Weston and Cambridge | Eater Boston
"Open in Sudbury at 530 A Boston Post Rd., the restaurant serves Indian fare including biryani and a variety of meat and vegetable entrees for lunch and dinner." - Dana Hatic
Cute little place serving vegetarian North Indian food snuggled in one corner of a gas station. Glad that we stopped by to explore the place while driving along I-80. Food and service was pretty decent, the place itself is tidy - overall a satisfying experience. Would definitely recommend if you are nearabouts this area while cruising along I-80 and craving Indian food.

Doesn't deserve the bad reviews. Got more food than I'll be able to eat, at a fair price. Got the thali, and my fiance had the vegetable of the day. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and spicy. Bonus points for both the fact it's healthier than the rest of the nearby options. More bonus points for the selection of sweets in the case. Glad I came in!

I visited this restaurant, and I have to say, it's way too overpriced. They charged $3 for just one roti, which you can get much cheaper at other places. Everything on the menu is ridiculously expensive, and honestly, the food isnt even worth the high prices. It's better to go somewhere else where you'll get getter value for your money. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

Absolute hole on the wall that I stumbled upon. The quality and freshness of the food is amazing. Loved the aloo parathas and the dal makhni. The service was quick and portion sizes are generous.

This might sound mean but this is the first Punjabi Indian restaurant I ate here it’s tasteless watery like the way you get in the local hospital of India .
INNOCENT Americans they have no idea they just eating the lowest tasteless food of India
.The restaurant looks good with good pictures on the menu but it’s not what you see Plus they charging the price like a pro . NEVER EVER gonna come or recommend.

Food here is not worthy because even in $16 kahadi Paneer masala they gave only 4-5 small paneer pieces , $2 roti not properly baked not even this they charge you for water that’s crazyy .
I’m not going to recommend anyone to waste their money on this food place .

Yelp
On a roadtrip and looking for quick vegetarian fare. This place popped up and WOW! Absolutely delicious! Wish I weren't 6 hours away or I'd be back! Thanks!

Yelp
Driving back from visiting family, we stopped for gas in Mifflinville, PA and for something to eat.
Vegetarian fare was advertised so we were curious and ordered on recommendation by a very nice clerk, 2 samosas which are these potato deep fried, curry-flavored savory pastries and a paneer sandwich. Both delightful and full of flavor. Easy on our tummies.
We also got 2 desserts - not sure what they were called but one was brown one was pink with edible foil both soaked in syrup and filled with a cream. The brown one was more to our liking. Price was reasonable.
Don't be shy, worth the visit and it beats a boring burger on the road anytime.

Yelp
This is a cute cozy place very close to i80, we were returning from NYC to OH and thought we'd take a quick lunch pitstop here and wasn't sorry one bit! We came exactly at opening time so ofcourse the e service was slightly slower but when the food is freshly made to order I have nothing to complain and the taste more than made up for the 10-15min wait. We ordered aloo paratha, 1 roti each (since the size of the roti and parantha was like a pizza) and some dal makhni! The aloo parantha was absolutely delicious reminded me of the kind I've had in India, it was served with butter, Indian mango pickle and yogurt! The dal makhni and rotis were simply yummy and I think this is gonna be our regular pitstop every time we're visiting NYC which is atleast once a year!
Note: for anyone wondering why the aloo parantha is just mashed potatoes stuffed between 2 flatbreads - cos it's a parantha not a paronthi! There's a difference between them and for those complaining about $1.99 for 1roti! Please look at the size guys! Enjoy the food and stop complaining I definitely recommend this place fore real good authentic Indian food!

Yelp
Driving back from OH to NYC, came across amazing quality Indian food at exit 242 off I-80 truck stop gas station. Vegetarian North Indian / Punjabi subzi ( vegetables), Daal (lentils) and chapatis. Home cooked taste unlike most Indian restaurants. A must stop for any Indian food lover!!

Yelp
We live in NYC so we know good Indian. We stopped here on the way to Knoebles and got samosas so we could fill our tummies and avoid the truly horrible food at Knoebles. The samosa was delicious with great homemade dough (a lot of restaurants are lazy and use frozen or even worse egg roll wrappers). Based on this we decided to come back after our day at the theme park and it did not disappoint. We ordered rice with lentils, rice with chickpeas, aloo gobi and roti. It was delicious. Truly a top spot. Portions were hearty and we took some home. I ate every last bite of leftovers. This is a hidden gem in the Poconos. I only wish it was a little closer to our vacation home here. Staff was lovely as well.

Yelp
The laddoos were delicious and it was easy to find right off the highway. We also got a mango lassi for the drive home that was very good

Yelp
Don't be scared away by the fact that this place is connected to a gas station convenience store that plays country music. It actually has authentic tasty vegetarian Indian food, which made me wonder how this restaurant ended up off the I-80 highway in the middle of Pennsylvania. I had the paneer bhurji, which is a paneer scramble, with some rice and a mango lassi to boot. Yum!

Yelp
Food was very good for price. Ambience is okay and service is good too. We loved the north indian taste of the food.
