I'm newer to the Indian food scene, and am still learning my way around a menu at places like this. I've had a lot of exposure over the past few years and kind of know what to look for when ordering and choosing a place to eat.
This place has been on my short list because it gets really solid reviews. Due to the location, I'm never really in the area, so I finally was and made a point of stopping in today to check it out.
The menu's a fusion menu. They have Indian and Asian style food. They have lunch and dinner entree's so I was excited to try something out. They had the usual menu items of Tandoori chicken, Butter Chicken, Biryani dishes and such. I thought I'd try something new and get the Tandoori chicken with Naan.
My food came out and it was fabulous! Boy was it not only good looking, but tasted excellent as well! I got the lunch portion since I didn't want to be weighed down afterwards since I had stuff to do.
The naan was excellent. I really loved it and could have eaten more if I had the chance. Also, the gentleman who helped me was super friendly and nice. I had a few questions but he was extremely knowledgeable about things like how spicy is spicy, what comes with my dish, etc. I really appreciated his knowledge as it made a difference not only in my experience here, but how I ordered as well. Things like not feeling rushed, giving me an honest answer and general knowledge of dishes and spice levels.
Overall, a fabulous place to grab a good bite to eat. See, not all Indian restaurants are created equal. Some are better at certain things, while others are not. I guess it all depends on what your looking for and want. Prices here are fair and on point, so I want to give them that. My only suggestion is that I wish they had a lunch buffet of some sort. I noticed a buffet area on the wall, but they nothing was set up.
