Great vibes and ambiance. A very nice change from the Brooklyn dive bars. Drinks are good and bartenders are nice, friendly, and chatty. Only negative is if you want to play pool with a group of friends you have to win the table from a couple of pool sharks who continually own the table over and over again. So bring someone who is very good at pool or you’ll only be playing the pool sharks. Kind of lame but whatever. House rules I guess. Aside from that I enjoy this bar.

A better version of this bar that doesn’t hate black or queer people is Mr. Nancy’s on Seneca. Had an experience here where the people making food set eyes on me and my friends(black folks) & turned away from serving us. Will never forget & will make sure to let my community know that they have issues with Black folks. Aside from having a pool table, they’re nothing special.

Allow me to introduce myself here. I am a native Ridgewood citizen. And after seeing how this place has evolved I can say the following. Beautiful pool table Atmosphere? Good Seats? Uncomfortable honestly - all if not most of them Music? Odd Food ? is okay - texture of the lamb burgers could be better for the price. Drinks? beer out of a can and a frozen banana margarita. Service? great conversationalists! However, I've been yelled at by a bartender and an owner (female), after having been a regular for a while. They thought a friend and I were throwing the pool balls on the floor on purpose - but we were learning how to play and mistakingly dropped two of them. The owner came up to us and raised her voice at us in front of everyone - telling us to stop and to be more careful. I couldn't have been more offended after having been yelled at by a bartender on a separate day (you know who you are). I used to spend a good amount of money here - but got really turned off by how dismissive and rude the situation was. I've been in the industry myself as a maître d for many years, for successful businesses, and I can tell you this - treat your regulars nice - because they're the ones that will drop money on a dead Monday. Also - most if not everybody that hangs out there used to work there, currently works there, or know someone that does - so if you're not in that clique - good luck!

Daddy's does kinda feel like the coolest dad in your highschool friend group made a basement bar. But I say that in the highest possible regard. Service is quick and friendly and drink prices are very affordable. The have a booth for DJ's, a pool table and darts. This would really be great for a first date and a place to chill and hangout before you head to the show.

Cool hidden gem in Ridgewood with great drink prices and good vibes. Staff are very friendly. Came in on a karaoke night, and it was loads of fun.

Excellent bar, super clean, pool table and darts. Monday night pool tournaments are also really fun! Good wholesome crowd and the owners are the sweetest. Did I mention how nice it looks in there? A very good date night spot.

This place is gorgeous, nice pool table , good cocktail selection. I didn't get to try the food but it looked good ! I'll definitely be back to try the snacks , Andrew is a great bartender as well.

I found Daddy's Bar while searching for some afternoon drinks before catching a show at the knockdown center - the minute I saw the menu, I was sold! The cocktails are very well-balanced and delicious... at a very reasonable price! Ambiance inside is really sleek. Dark, with the occasional neon light that gives the interior a sultry glow once the sun goes down. There is a pool table in the back, and I saw a poster for Monday night pool tournaments. While I didn't get her name, the bartender was friendly and made the most delicious drinks. Daddy's is a really cool spot, and I'm looking forward to returning!

L-O-V-E Daddy's Bar! The drinks are great, the atmosphere is amazing, and the bartenders are friendly and accommodating. My personal favorite drink is the Queen's Special.
