Highly recommend this bakery. I was planning a baby shower from out of state and found this bakery in my search. Soooo glad I did! The communication with Chasity was great. We spoke on the phone and she was so sweet and patient. The specialty cake turned out beautifully and tasted so good. Exceeded my expectations! Chasity is an amazing artist and baker!

I was first introduced to this company during the 2025 Gullah Gala in Charleston. I bought one cookie and then doubled back for a few more. I had been wanting to go for weeks and my best friends birthday was the perfect excuse to go. I went with the intent to buy cookies but ended up getting a cupcake, chewing w/o nuts and the cookies that I came for originally. I wanted some ice-cream too but I felt that would have been overkill. Once again everything was great as expected. The chewing were so good and buttery soft. 10 out of 10 would recommend. I will be going back FOR SURE!!!!! I wish I had pictures to share. Next time!!!!

I cannot rave enough about this bakery! If you have a special event, a baby Shower, a birthday, and anniversary or a wedding, you just have to pick this bakery! My daughter lives in the Charleston area and I found this bakery doing a Google search and the reviews do not fit how amazing they are! The customer service over the phone was top-notch! The cupcakes and the dipped Oreos… I can’t even begin to tell you how delectable they were! Everyone at the baby shower raved! I mean RAVED! I cannot thank this couple enough or this bakery for making my daughter’s special day even more special. The pictures just do not do justice to how beautiful the items I ordered were.LOVE!! I ordered a cake for my graduation party. From start to finish, Daddy's Girls was professional and listened to how I wanted the cake designed. The cake was right on point. The cake was in the strawberry flavor and let me tell you, it was delicious! It had such a fresh strawberry flavor. We also ordered their famous chewies for the party and my guests raved about them. They taste like pecan pie and are buttery. I've had their other dessert options at other times and everything is always delicious. The pickup process was seamless. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again. Highly recommend!

Absolutely a homemade, bonafide delicious bakery experience. I will not ever forget the taste of the sweet potato pie cheesecake or the satisfying bite into my first Charleston Chewie! This is a must support, must try, must make-the-trip, black-owned and beautiful experience. When back in town, we will make this N. Charleston shop a part of our culinary tradition. Keep doing what y'all are doing!!

Stopped in just now and couldn’t decide everything looked so good so I got a bunch of stuff!! Peanut butter cheesecake 10/10!!! They were so nice and the place is super clean and cute!! Definitely will be my new spot.

I must have came at a bad time because I did not have the same great experience everyone else did. I will say I loved how friendly everyone was and I definitely encourage people to support a family business. However, my red velvet cupcake was incredibly dry and I threw that out. The chocolate cupcake was also dry and the frosting tasted grainey almost so I did not finish that either. The pineapple upside down cheesecake was just alright. I visited the bakery based on reviews but like I said I personally just didn't enjoy it the dessert.

The chews are awesome! I can't say enough about the cupcakes. Homemade ice cream!!! The staff is polite and friendly. We needed a dessert option while in Charleston and it was the right choice. We highly recommend it! Thanks guys.

Their treats are always AMAZING-chewies, cakes, cheesecakes, cookies. doesn't matter what you get, it will be good! The only thing better than the food are the people. Every visit to the store is a pleasure. Great desserts, great people!

Beautiful cakes that taste amazing. We have used this bakery twice for birthday parties they always go above and beyond our expectations. Gorgeous custom cakes that taste delicious.

Discovered at the farmers market and so glad we stopped! The walnut chewies were amazing (kind of like a blondie), and we also got a mini pumpkin bread, and an amazing, spiced sweet potato pie!

Our hosts at the Starlight Motel suggested walking to Daddy's Girls.. and it didn't disappoint. A small storefront, but the most elegant collection of sweets, featuring Charleston Chewies, a soft butter and sugar delight, which is reminiscent of a blongie, except even more decadently buttery! Grandma's secret recipe, but lots of cupcakes and specialty cheesecakes too; they even have housemade vanilla icecream. A real find!

Holy deliciousness! I was recommended to go to this place from another small business owner in North Charleston. I'm so glad she gave me the scoop. OMG! The chewies are heavenly! I bought a box and they literally melt in your mouth. Moist, delicious the perfect after dinner treat! Made it with a coffee. The cupcakes have the perfect icing to cake combination. I ordered a red velvet. My favorite! Also bought a sweet potato pie which I'm saving for breakfast. I was told the sweet potato cheesecake was divine too. It was sold out. Guess I need to make another trip!

Very good and moist desserts. For two large cookies and a cupcake I spent a little over $6 which isn't bad at all. The cookie was soft and filled with chocolate chips. The cupcake was moist and had the perfect amount of icing for my tastebuds. I love that there's a whole Oreo cookie in my Oreo cupcake. Staff was super friendly and able to answer questions about the business and desserts. I am very pleased with the variety of treats and plan to purchase a cake from here in the near future.

Growing up in downtown Charleston, chewies are a staple in my home. Daddy's Girls did not disappoint with other staples such as cupcakes and sweet potato pie! Offering other goodies like cookies and chewie ice cream. If your in the North Charleston or Park Circle area you must stop in.

Recently bought chewies, red velvet cupcakes and banana pudding cupcakes, they were amazing! My new go to bakery!

I have to admit, I've been thinking about this place since I've left Charleston. I'm familiar with chewies as a Charleston dessert and babyyy this place has won the award. The chewy cheesecake, the chewies, the apple pie squares, the sugar cookie, and the red velvet Oreo cupcake were WINNING! I don't think I've even been to a bakery and every item was superb. I've been telling all my family to go stop by and even browsed the website for when I'm ready to order and have it shipped. Daddy's Girls Bakery, you have it going on!!

Mr. Brown makes the most tantalizing deserts with a southern authenticity unparalleled. His chewies are unforgettable and addictive be careful you may finish them off faster that intended. Plan ahead to have Daddy's Girls baked goods.

Can't give Chasity enough stars for the beautiful work she did on my daughter's birthday cake! And it was delicious!! So moist and perfect! Highly recommend!

Great Service and selection! The snicker doodles and Charleston Chewies are better than anything you have ever eaten before! You MUST try these treats. We were in Charleston from Illinois and made a special trip to pick up some Chewies!

Perfect place to order delicious sweet treats from. It was very easy to place my special order. I ordered 12 assorted cupcakes & 12 cookies for my husbands surprise birthday gathering. They emailed me an invoice as soon as I placed the order, which spelled out exactly what I ordered. And I could pay online right from the invoice link. Everyone enjoyed sampling all the yummy sweets.

I just had to leave a review for this business!! I got some of their chewies at the city market during a trip to Charleston with my boyfriend. They are delicious! I have not had chewies before, since I'm not from the area. But they are honestly different from any other dessert I've tried. But the main thing that made an impression on me, was how touching it was to see a dad and his daughter spending time together and doing business together! I believe this man owns the bakery with his wife, but on this particular day it was just him and his young daughter. She could not have been older than 8 or 9, potentially younger, and she called me over, offered me a sample, made the sale, and rang me up!!! I was so impressed and it put a smile on my face! I hope to some day make it to their personal store!

Don't sleep on this newly opened Black owned bakery filled with delicious treats! Try the Charleston Chewies and let them melt in your mouth. The cupcakes have just the right amount of icing, the cookies just the perfect chewy to firm ratio, the brownies a mixture of pure chocolate-cakey delight! This family-owned bakery has a great IG account I suggest you follow as well! Lets support our local small business and get a sweet tooth fix at the same time.

Met these babies at the Charleston Market in Mid April. Of course I had to stop when I saw cute children selling things. I proceeded to engage them in conversation about their products. They were able to answer all of my questions and we're delightful! I was literally headed to the ice cream shop but decided to patronize them anyway. I ended up buying a chocolate chip cookie. It was soft and good. I ate on it for two days. It became a bit crumbly but I suppose if I'd placed it in a ziploc, it would've remained soft. Either way, it was tasty and not overly sweet. Good job babies! And way to go to the parents teaching them business principles so young!!

Be careful or you'll pass right by this hidden gem! After passing by the place several times, we called for directions. Once we located the storefront, we were greeted by the cutest front counter staff and they knew their stuff!! I inquired about the taste of the infamous 'Charleston Chewies', and was informed by one of the tiny beauties, that it tasted like deliciousness. How could I pass that up?! They did not disappoint! The cookies and pound cake were tasty as well! My order was rang up by the smallest baby doll, who worked the iPad better than some adults I've seen. She knew how to rang in my order, take my payment, and give a receipt. I was impressed!! It was a great experience and I'm looking forward to going back!
