Intimate, traditional Korean dining with BBQ combos cooked at the table and attentive service. Recent diners praise the banchan lineup and careful grilling, making it a solid alternative along Route 40’s Korean dining corridor.

The food here is amazing and super authentic. It never disappoints! I really enjoyed the marinated galbi and beef brisket for KBBQ. The porkbelly is also very good. The naengmyeon was above expectation. The KBBQ comes complimentary with steamed egg and soybean paste soup -- both absolutely delicious. I ate until my stomach was about to burst. I would just come here for the ban Chan alone. I highly recommend trying this place out to satisfy that kbbq craving. I've also seen people have huge parties in separate rooms, and looks like a great place to host large gatherings.

Nice atmosphere: clean, quiet (chill classical music). Food: very delicious. Try the cod stew, Yachae. Sundubu or tofu soup. The service was good: kind and swift.

This is one my favorite kbbqs in ellicot city! It’s definitely a hidden gem. Everything is so delicious and the staff is friendly as well!

Google
What a hidden gem! Arguably the best banchan I’ve had. Everything was on point, kimchi is masterful and service is great!

Google
Have been this place for a couple times. Always good service and good quality of foods. Highly recommend barbecue here. Their kimchi is also the best I have in the states

Google
The food here is authentic and the service was over and beyond! Kevin and Su Ahn were amazing at serving us and ensuring that we had a wonderful experience! We don’t have tons of pictures of food because we finished everything so quickly. We ordered Seafood pancake, galbi dolsot bibimbap, and different kinds of marinated beef BBQ. So delicious!

Google
This is literally my favorite restaurant. When I miss true Korean food just like I had in Korea, this is the place I go to. Great place for a barbecue, but their meals like Kimchi Jjigae, or jjukkumi bokkeu. That’s what I had today with Mulnaengmyeon. I apologize for the terrible pic as I forgot to take pictures when they were just served. One last thing. The serving staff are also very kind with smiles on their faces. I feel very welcome there every time. I’m bummed that this place is not packed but I’m also thankful that this is a hidden gem.

Yelp
Since my last review, my husband and I have returned several times. We are in love with their marinated galbi. The ladies there know my family now and always love on my little boy (I went when I was pregnant). I also love their dogani muchim. The portion is HUGE, but it is so delicious and flavorful. Highly recommend!

Yelp
My favorite uncle had a birthday party here and the staff were very accommodating with a semi private room - the room with the wall photo of the classic Korean dining room. The star of this experience was most definitely the marinated galbi that was at times slow to be served but so worth the wait. So good accompanied with all the vegetable banchan and rice. The gojuchan hot sauce, although late to the game only because I did not notice it was on an adjacent table, brought all the flavors together perfectly to remind me of home. Perfect food to go along with the fellowship of extended family. If I am ever back in the area, I would definitely stop by here and get the galbi again.

Yelp
New Management (as of January 2025)! Premium K-BBQ quality, abundance of side dishes, hospital servers and home style cooked meals! Great location in Ellicott City, large parking lot space, and if you're party is down for round two there is a Korean bar right next to it (Rainpia)! Update (03/2025) No Tip Special Monday-Friday until 4PM!

Yelp
I was visiting the Baltimore area and was suggested Dae Jang Geum by a friend. This was my first Korean BBQ experience, and I really enjoyed it! The staff were very attentive and very kind. We were quickly seated and began our feast. The marinated meat was delicious and perfectly cooked. Overall, we had a great experience and everything was decently priced. We would come again if in the area again!

Yelp
Not sure why this place isn't more highly rated, but I accidentally discovered this place when looking for a Korean restaurant that has a great banchan lineup. Went in for BBQ - will try their regular menu next time - and was not disappointed. The banchan were really great, and refills came quickly. Service was excellent, the server made sure each meat dish was cooked to perfection and did not push me to finish the meat quickly so she can cook the next one - most other Korean BBQ places will put them on a dish and let them get cold before I can finish it, which sucks. The only thing I would say about this very clean restaurant is that it's a little small so if there are a lot of people you may need to wait. Highly recommend anyone in the area to try this place out.

Yelp
Love it here! The meat is always so fresh and the staff are wonderful. Both KBBQ fans and newcomers can enjoy their time here, the waiter was more than happy to teach us about how it all works and the different cuts of meat. The banchan were outstanding as well, overall a wonderful experience

Yelp
The food here is amazing and super authentic. I believe they are under new management as of recent. I really enjoyed the marinated galbi and beef brisket for KBBQ. The porkbelly is also very good. Yelp
So I just ordered from here through Grub Hub. Food came perfectly packed and all was piping hot. I ordered the ox bone soup and the marinated galbi. It came with 3 decent sized sides that were different and not a variation of the same thing. Unlike the popular Korean bbq place that I don't name, I actually got a hefty serving that could have easily fed 2 people and they both be full. My soup was humongous. I definitely got my money's worth. Oh I forgot to mention the most important thing.... Everything was fresh AND delicious. I'm really impressed. This has been marked as a favorite. I will be ordering from here again and hope to visit the actual restaurant when covid numbers go down. Update: The ox bone soup was disgusting. No flavor and no ox bone. Just a sliver of meat. Maybe a forkful. I tried to add salt & seasonings. Bleh. The other soups maybe great but this is not. Unsure what it came up as a popular order.

Yelp
Under new ownership, the food at Daejanggeum Restaurant has undergone significant improvement. We held our organization meeting there with a group of 16, and everyone agreed that the food tasted much better, and the service was excellent. The owner's warm smile added a special touch to the experience. The private room provided for our meeting was perfect, featuring beautiful wall prints of traditional Korean houses that created a refreshing atmosphere--making us say "wow" as we entered. And of course, the prompt service and delicious food made the experience even better. I will definitely be returning!

Yelp
Let's keep this simple. They are not cleaning there vegetables properly. Bugs are not cleaned off. The 2 ladies admit they knew exactly where the bug was from. I'm assuming this has happend before. If it's a ingredient they know bugs are coming from they should stop using the ingredient. It's not even a ingredient found in budae jjigae typically. First time for me having watercress in Korean army stew (budae jjigae). I never been so sick and grossed out. I was at the tail end of my "budae jjigae" in my bowl aka Korean army stew. I flipped over a hotdog and a bug was attached to the hot dog. This restaurant was mentioned in a Facebook group "Howard county eats". Someone mentioned it was under new management and it was good. I beg to differ.

Yelp
PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE!!! We went to the place for dinner and rang the service bell 3 times, but no service was provided.
google avatar

Amanda H.

Yelp
Food was mediocre for the price. Their side dishes are good but the bibimbap was average. The service was non existent and we had to ring the bell for people to stop by.

Adila A.

Yelp
PLEASE AVOUD THIS PLACE IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR MOOD RUINED!!! Food is extremely salty and service is horrible. They close at 10, i arrive 9:05 and they told me the kitchen is closing??? The waitress literally harassed me to order my food and stared at me to make me order within 20 seconds otherwise will be kicked out of the restaurant. I have never ever seen rude behavior like and and I will give zero star if i could.

Yelp
TIP: Must try traditional Korean BBQ. Ask them to grill the bone from the Galbi (yes, I'm recommending you order Galbi), in the back for you to enjoy at your table. Order rice separately. Don't miss out on this hidden gem! The environment is welcoming, the service is great and the food is amazing! ORDER: * Galbi * Marinated tender beef with powerful yet delicious mouthwatering flavor that pairs great with white rice and sides. * Spicy Pork Belly * Medium spice tender pork belly strips. The level of spice is not excruciation to the point you need a drink water to cool down. It is a perfect level of spice that allows you to enjoy the meat without breaking a sweat. * Japchae * Clear glass noodles accompanied with mixed vegetables and a delicate hint of sweet flavor - it's not sweet like dessert. Trust me, this is something you'll want to grub on with your meat and rice. Japchae is my all time favorite and a must have when eating Korean food. SIDES: All the sides come with the meals for the table to share. Think of it as appetizers yet they go great with your meal. If you finish the sides before your meal comes out, kindly ask for more. * Kim Chee * Radish * Seaweed * Spicy Cucumber * Bean Sprouts * Garlic * Jalapeño * Lettuce * Hot Sauce * SERVICE: We were immediately greeted as we entered the restaurant. The lady asked if we'd be ordering Korean BBQ and sat us at a table with a grilled stove top. She asked us if we'd like hot tea or water and immediately brought us our pick. Our order was taken with ease and food was brought out and cooked to perfection. There are service buttons in the table if you find the need to get the waitress' attention. LOCATION/FACILITY: This is located off Route 40/Baltimore National Pike in a shopping center like area full of restaurants. You can find this gem on the second floor in the middle corner of the entire building. PARKING: Free parking lot SEATING: Ample amount of seating COVID-19: [October 2020] Due to the current pandemic; some of the utensils and cups were disposable. They take your temperature and distance the seating of customers. Out of all the Korean restaurants in Ellicott City, let alone Howard County, this is my favorite. It is traditional and the restaurant has a warm homy feeling to me.

Yelp
I came here recently with a friend for lunch and was blown away. My friend and I ordered the Kalbi box and soondooboo on the lunch special. We were given generous portions along with flavorful banchan. I'll be returning here again to try their dulsootbap!

Yelp
Found this place after the Asia Collective Night Market "Nightmare". After initially seeing Iron Age and Honey Pig being at a 2 hour+ wait time, I decided to give this spot a shot. With an extensive menu, half their restaurant is formatted for bbq grilling and the other for regular tables which is for the rest of the menu that doesn't require the grill. On a Saturday evening you would hope that many restaurants would be on their A game to take on the busy traffic. This was more the opposite as apparently this spot never truly gets busy. But there's a reason for that. It isn't AYCE like some spots down the National Pike. Majority of their staff doesn't speak English. And being that their menu has all sorts of Korean dishes... it doesn't make it appealing to most consumers unless they're familiar with what to actually get. With all that said, the food we had was great. They had ran out of beef bulgogi and so instead we had gotten the brisket along with the spicy samgyupsal (pork belly). Both were great along with the banchan spread. It is price as each meat dish order is roughly $24 or higher - especially if you go for the premium meats. Beware, this is a location where traditionally the hosts do the grilling for you. Being that they only had 3 staff running about 15 tables... it was tough but I don't think it was mainly their fault being that they got slammed the entire day. Will try again when willing to splurge a bit and would prefer quality over quantity.

Yelp
Lol, good thing I didn't look this place up! I grabbed a haircut nearby and asked the stylist if she knew of any good naengmyeon places nearby. She pointed me here and I'm glad she did! The mul naengmyeon was insanely satisfying and the banchan was also some of the best I've had in the DC area... I'm a firm believer that restaurants should be judged on their food. Clearly others on this app don't see it that way...

Yelp
Seeing the overall 3-star rating, I wasn't going to try this place, but my bf persuaded me. Boy am I glad I gave the place a chance. The food was really good and surpassed my expectations. I would go again, especially for their lunch special. If you're in the area and in the mood for some Korean food, def try this place out.

Yelp
best Korean restaurant simply authentic!, good quality dishes and tasty side dishes, even the rice they serve tastes better than most of the restaurant

Erin P.

Yelp
The food at the restaurant was not so bad, although not the best compared to other Korean restaurants. However, the behavior of the staff was extremely rude. We arrived at around 8:30 PM since they close at 10 PM. By 9 PM, the staff started sighing and giving us angry looks. We were all adults, ranging from our mid-40s to 60s, and we were not complaining or causing any disturbance. We were simply there to enjoy our meal and the moment. One Korean staff member approached us with a very angry expression and told us we should leave because it was almost 9:30 PM. It was clear that they wanted to close early. I have never encountered such rude behavior from staff members in any other restaurant. It's not just because they asked us to leave early; it's their overall demeanor--angry faces, refusing to make eye contact, speaking rudely. One of the staff members even told me, "You can't do this," although I'm not sure what she meant. Perhaps she was implying that we shouldn't visit their restaurant at night. I don't usually leave public reviews, but I feel compelled to let them know that they should not run their business with such angry staff members. This was my first and last visit.

Yelp
I don't think I am coming here anymore. 12:30pm on a Friday for lunch service. Radio silence. I've been waiting 42 mins for my order. What? The server was nice and all, but the experience is absurd. I don't think it's worth it - there are plenty of other, better options here in this area for Korean food.

Lori C.

Yelp
Outstanding traditional Korean food and service. Best Korean bbq in the area. My husband and I are foodies and we give this restaurant a big thumbs up. We are empty nesters so we travel abroad when ever we have a chance (before covid).. Thank goodness we have this restaurant to give use little bit of Korea.

Yelp
I got their large sashimi combination and it was pretty good. I was craving sashimi so badly and my go-to place was under construction, so my family and I ended up at this place. I was pleasantly surprised with the food we got because when we walked in the huge restaurant, it was basically empty. So I was expecting the worst. The service was decent and they were attentive to our needs. The sashimi was good and the combination came with a lot of extra stuff. It came with a fish stew, two Korean pancakes, pan fried fish, delicious Korean side dishes, eggs, and a creamy sweet corn casserole. All this was only 100$. I thought the price was decent for the amount of food we got. We couldn't even touch the fish stew and there were still some sashimi left at the end of our meal. I would say the large platter would be perfect for 4 people. Got to get my raw fish craving satisfied from here:)

Yelp
This place used to be called Mi Roc Jo. Heard there was change of ownership and a new name. The sides (Ban Chan) had variety and waitress had no qualms when we asked for more. Nothing stellar, typical Korean standard dishes. Not everything on menu were available, my daughter had to go with her 4th choice. Only one waitress when we were there ( I say us as party of 11) then 2 other tables were occupied, she was running around and at times, it was hard to get her attention.
google avatar

Yelp
BE WARNED. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. I'm Korean I don't play games with KBBQ and these people are unbelievable. First off the server was extremely rude to us when we walked in to be seated telling us to wait when there were plenty of tables. One of which was allegedly reserved but during our whole meal no one sat there. Second we ordered 1 portion of brisket and 1 portion rib meat and they charged us for 2. We intentionally did not order more than 2 portions because we wanted to decide what to get LATER and explicitly told the server that. We asked to speak with the manager or owner to sort this out. The server said they had gone home. I had just seen them in the back bar. Due to the poor service we tipped nothing because that's how tipping works. On our way out we were chased by the server with her demanding a tip for service received. WHAT SERVICE?! Speaking with others in the area this is not the first time this has happened. I refuse to go back there. I will be contesting the charges with my credit card company and reporting them to the BBB. STAY AWAY. Go to honey pig or somewhere else this place is trash.
google avatar

S L.

Yelp
My family went there last Sunday. We should have left before we sat down. The place was very hot leaving my mom sweating. The service was very bad. We pressed the button several times but our server never showed up. No water refills, no side dish refills, and one of our food came out late. I shouldn't have left a tip!
google avatar

Jonny V.

Yelp
What's not to like about this restaurant? They use top quality meat (same supplier as Shin Chon?), have an attentive and friendly waitstaff, and serve the most varied banchan in the area! Definitely one of the better options for Korean food in Ellicott City.
google avatar

Jai S.

Yelp
Went tonight with their re-opening under new management. Suffice to say the food was horrible. I love Korean food, and for the most part, Korean restaurants in this area are pretty good. This is not one of those places. Family ordered dduk bokki and soon dubu. The dduk had the worst spices and the dduk itself was hard with no flavor. The soon dubu was just water, dubu, and a seafood mix. No real spices, no real taste. We were charged $1 for the rice that normally comes with soon dubu. We also asked for a little more ban chan, and they wanted to charge for that too. I can understand if we were being unreasonable, but the same amount of ban chan given to one patron was given to us... there were 4 of us, and they still wouldn't give us extra. Food was crap. Service was crap. And the nickel and dime crap is something I've never experienced at a Korean restaurant. This place is horrible. Do not go. By the completely empty restaurant at 9:30pm on a Saturday night, others have known to say away for a while too.
google avatar

C L.

Yelp
This place was packed and busy! We had to ask for side dishes and water to be refilled. The food tasted good but I did not get to enjoy my soup (sullungtang) because they didn't give me the sea salt to add until everyone else in my party was done eating.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
1 - Shin Chon 2 - Yet Nahl 3 - Mirocjo This is how I rank my Ellicott City korean restaurants. This place usually has less of a wait but the food/service definitely will show you why. Make reservations and go to Shin Chon!
google avatar

James S.

Yelp
I have to disagree with the other reviewers before me. The service wasn't that great but the food was delicious and the panchan here is terrific. We ordered BBQ special and I ate till I thought I would explode. Go here if you're in the area but don't expect the best service.
google avatar

Ttrishy T.

Yelp
This used to be Miracjo. I really like this restaurant. It can get busy but not as busy as some of the other places that can have a long wait time. I have gone here for BBQ with large groups. You can get large combos if you're there for KBBQ. The quality of the meat is great. I love the many side dishes-banchan. You can ask for more if you need more/want more. There is a call button at each table to make things easier. I've also ordered To Go. I've gotten their large soup to eat with friends at home.
google avatar

Heewon C.

Yelp
Went this place w my friends first and had really good experience. So I went back with my family, and super mad and did no tip in first time in my life. The server was using same tong for my table and the other tables. We had to wait for long time to be seated while they have so many open tables. And the server never came when I push the button. Seriously i think they need to work on the service.
google avatar

Rumany P.

Yelp
Service was amazing. Even with our apparently weird request for rice. Gave us some sort of comp sushi... Don't know what it was called, but it was yummy!
google avatar

Z. Z.

Yelp
Somewhat special items but average tasting Korean food in Ellicott city. More like a Japanese place. The grill is on the fire, not on the pan as some other korean places. It has shabu shabu, the Japanese hot pot and it has a lot of sushi. I had their stone bowl rice and shabu shabu. The stone bowl is quite standard and the hor pot is a little bit on the bland side. I came back for bbq another time. The meat donot have much floavor and I am not impressed.
google avatar

Deborah L.

Yelp
1st time here tonight. This place is a hidden gem bc its in the upstairs part of the shopping lot where rainpia and other Korean restaurants are at. Also bc they give you SO much meat (and excellent quality) for a good price. The side dishes were nice and authentic and everything else tasted so delicious. The only down side was that their service was a little on the slow side.
google avatar

Vera L.

Yelp
Today's the third time I've eaten here and I don't think I will return unless I'm seriously craving maeyuntang. To get good customer service you need to be both Korean and old (50s+). Otherwise expect slow service, excuses for bland dishes and using wrong cuts of meat for bossam. As we left, we saw everybody had gotten dessert drinks but we were not given any when we got the check. Too many strikes today to be excusable. These Korean restaurants need to realize that they need to start paying attention to the "younger" generation. That we are the ones that tip well and will bring them more business. Food wise it was not good. Spicy squid dish came out bland. Had to ask them to re-fry with more gochujang but then it made it overcooked. Bossam had the wrong cut of meat--different from when we had it here the previous time. It looked like poorly cooked thin pork belly slices, not enough fat and too tough to eat (jaw still hurts). Only good dish was the good ol maeyuntang.
google avatar

Amos A.

Yelp
They have 2 same menus with different prices!! Hide one of the menu and check the bill when it comes out that's what I did and I caught them. They told me the menu was not updated and took 10.00 off my bill. They are known for doing dirty
google avatar

Amy K.

Yelp
I've come here a couple times and was not particularly impressed. The waitresses tend to ignore you if you are younger. I've had the saeng galbi and gochujang samgyupsal. Most times I've had to wait at least 30 minutes for the meat to come out. The side dishes are actually decent but who wants to eat the complimentary side dishes for 30 minutes after ordering. All of the other Korean bbq places the meat comes out almost immediately. To top it off the steamed egg and daengjang jigae doesn't come out until you are midway through eating your meat. It doesn't take that long to cook it. However the taste of the meat and dishes aren't bad at all.

Yelp
THIS PLACE IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! Okay. I know that this place has been around forever. I know that it has harbored a pretty mediocre reputation because it really wasn't good at all in the past. Well. That has all changed. For the better. I came here on a whim with a few friends the other day and was delightfully surprised at the change in quality of the food. Apparently, Mirocjo is under new management, and they've shaken things up. The interior decor has been altered slightly in favor of private tables that have walls around them to give a more intimate feel. I do like the new layout even if it's not as open as it was before. But that's all secondary stuff. Onto the food. We decided to go all out and order the Korean BBQ here. The meat was pretty expensive, but nothing out of the ordinary for Korean BBQ. It was about $20-$30 per order. We got 3 orders of Galbi (the heavily marinated one and the mildly marinated one), along with the Sahm gyup sahl (pork belly). The portions were generous and the meat was extremely high quality. The sahm gyup sahl was thick cut, just the way it should be, and the marbling of the Galbi was amazing! Also, the marination for the Galbi was just right. I'm sorry, but this place does a better job than Honey Pig and Shin Chon. Seriously. There is a distinct difference between this place and some of the other Korean BBQ places in Ellicott City, and this restaurant takes the cake. I know it's hard to believe, but try it out and see. Just so you know, I've lived in Southern California/LA where Korean BBQ is ubiquitous, and none of those places were even as good as the BBQ they had here. Haven't been to Korea in a while, so I can't give a comparison there though. However, the service was just okay, typical for a Korean restaurant. Don't expect the waitresses to be too attentive. It took a while to get our check even when we pushed that waitress button on the table like 3 times. Still a 5 star review though. So, if you're in the mood for some Korean BBQ, ditch Honey Pig and Shin Chon and try this place out!
google avatar

Jin L.

Yelp
One star is a little too much. The only thing I get here is their hangover soup. It was my first time here with my mom and when they gave us the check, they didn't add it up correctly. My mom tried to politely correct them but the waitress slapped the receipt down on the table saying that we were wrong. The service here was absolute shit. They never came around, they were all watching tv and never looked back. When we left the waitress told us to never come back here. But the food was okay, there was no meat in the hangover soup and the food portioning was very off to the normal standards.
google avatar

Jina K.

Yelp
This has to be THE WORST Korean BBQ restaurant (NY, NJ, VA, MD, DC combined) I have ever dined. 1) Food not fresh--Ordered Seng galbi (not marinated)--the beef was not fresh at all! 2) The waitress came back only once after she initially laid the meat. We had to cook the meat ourselves the entire time. Why would I pay $$ to eat if I have to cook myself?? Also, what's the point of having the bell if you're going to come 5 minutes later?? 3) Overpriced for what you get---terrible food, horrendous service. Don't waste your hard earned money here. Visit a different establishment.
google avatar

Fat T.

Yelp
Generally, people know you go to korean restaurants for the food and not for their service or decor. However, the service is down right RUDE. NO MATTER WHAT DO NOT GET THE BARBEQUE. When you ask for more side dishes, the waitress (both that rotated at our table) waited anywhere from 10-15 minutes to get back to us and then got a plate of what we asked + tongs and told us distribute among ourselves. Also, they will crank up the fire as hot as possible and leave you unattended until the meat is burned. AND, they will cut the meat so large that it generally won't fit into an average person's mouth. Overall, the food is average but the service is straight unacceptable. They seem to cater to large groups...25+ people and do not have time to cater to people unwilling to spend more than a few hundred dollars. Worst service in the Ellicott City, Howard County... possibly MD. There are two other bbq places in the area there, patronize there.

Yelp
Sometimes when you're super hung over all you want is some warm soup, and they had a lot of stews to choose from that definitely hit the spot. We got a small room in the back with tatami seating, and like many Korean places, they have the bell at the table you can ring to get service so you're not ignored, but they were actually really good about checking in frequently. We started with so much banchan - from kimchee to fish cake to radish to bean sprouts to these spring rolls and this roll of asian pear with avocado and salmon, everything was really good. The best part was the sizzling plate with corn kernels and melted cheese. We also ordered a sashimi platter with lots of fresh fish, which came after our entrees (it would have been nice to have it before). I was definitely mostly full off banchan already, but then the stews were so good. The soondubu was just ok very red but not that flavorful. The more unique stews included a fish stew and an upgraded one with egg. Both were large bowls with lots of flavor, except the fish pieces in the fish stew had way too many bones and lots of skin, and I probably wouldn't let kids eat it. I've never seen such a large selection of soups and stews at any Korean restaurants in California, so I was very happy stuffing myself with warm broth here. I know a lot of the other reviews are pretty bad, but I was pretty happy with my hangover cure.

Yelp
Changed management recently. Whenever these changes occur take advantage during their beginning phase - service is best at that time. Thank you for hosting my dad's funeral dinner. We were referred to another location but my dad's pastor circle insisted using them since they recently changed management. I guess pastors know where to dine due to various events :p There are various options so be sure to inquire on the differences. I wish I can help with that part but I was not myself when I was helping my mom plan this "event". But they offered select dishes for each group menu. Example: mom opt for either a $20-$25 per person buffet style then she picked what was available to choose from like bulgogi, marinated squid, that weird pork slices of stuff with some kind of dippings, japchae, various kimchi, some funky fish, etc. you get the deal. They also offered complimentary sodas but after a certain amount you will have to pay so expect that. We kept ordering since we wished for everyone to enjoy the gathering due to my dad's passing. Anywho, expect that detour. Not a bad thing but just expect peeps to be thirsty during this foodie event. BTW they continually brought the ice water pitchers and the hot barley tea pitchers throughout the dinner. The owner/host lady checked on us regularly and the mainly Korean-speaking staff was helpful and kept the buffet area in check. The private group dinner area was barely wheelchair accessible which makes this truly a Korean restaurant. We managed to get mom in and out though so I didn't hurt anyone. But if you have any "normal" wheelchair-sized peeps you won't fit through the private group dinner area. My mom is very petite and uses the smallest wheelchair (I think it is for teenagers/young adults) so we rolled in there just fine. I know it's TMI but I believe this may be useful for future Yelpers. Oh and park at the very front of the shopping area if you are disabled or on a wheelchair. Don't park at the bottom of this shopping center or you'll be pissed. Nothing but stairs if you'd like to eat at Mirocjo. So again park at the very front. You'll understand when you get there. No food porn and I'm sure you'll understand. Overall I would recommend their buffet but please be sure to inquire about the various priced per person buffet group dinner and maybe you could receive a special per person price if you bring enough individuals for your gathering.

Yelp
I think that even one star is too much for this place. I walked into the restaurant around 6:30 on a Saturday night. I had to stand at the door for a good minute before anyone came and greeted me. I should've just walked away. I was seated all the way in the back in the corner. I sat there and waited for a friend for about 15 minutes, and no one came to check up on me during that time. Even after she arrived, no one came over to take our order. We rang the bell on the table about five times. When someone finally came over, she was surprised that we hadn't ordered. We didn't get any service until we requested to receive the check. Even requesting the check was such a hassle. My water glass stayed empty throughout the entire dinner. I do not recommend this restaurant. If you are craving Korean food or Korean BBQ, there are so many other restaurants in the area.

Yelp
Very good authentic korean restaurant. I can't speak for the bbq but the traditional korean dishes I had were yummy. I had the kal-bi-albacore-jjim and fish egg soup.

Yelp
I took my family here on my birthday after having already gone to two other Korean BBQ restaurants the same night that were full. So were relieved at first when we got there since they only had us wait five minutes for seats. We ordered the BBQ bulgogi because we wanted to cook the BBQ on our own. While waiting for our food, we witnessed a waiter dropping a plate of cooked beef onto the ground. Instead of dumping it into the trash, the owner picked it up and took it back to the kitchen. Then she came to our table and asked if we want to have cooked bulgogi instead the BBQ because their kitchen stove is broken... we saw what she did there and politely declined. When they finally brought our order to the table, we couldn't cook the meat because the fire went off. We had to call them back to the table, which took a long time because they were extremely short-staffed. If this happened once, it would be okay. But NO, it happened FOUR MORE TIMES afterwards. We were ready to walk out of the place if the owner didn't come and cooked our food by herself. The food turned out to be alright. The price was okay. But this is not where I would go for my birthday as their service is horrible. I won't return for sure.
