Wow! Love this place. I work very close by and it’s such a cute place to have lunch! The lunch specials are really good and a generous portion. I ordered chicken Pad See Ew and it was amazing. Everything cooked perfectly. I got the chive dumpling as an appetizer and they were good but a little small. The atmosphere and decor is very well done. The service is fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place for authentic Thai food.

Newly open spot, we walk by and decided to give it a try. Surprisingly they open for the first day! The food was outstanding, staff and bartenders were very enthusiastic. Overall experience was higher than expected. Highly recommended!

Had the chance to try Dagg Thai for lunch with friends on Monday, and I’m so glad we did! Walking into the restaurant feels like stepping into a cozy spot in Thailand def gives you that homey vibe. We started off with a bunch of appetizers(can’t remember all the names but everything was delicious) The pork jerky is a MUST so good with fresh veggies and chili dip. The scallops bites also so good! My fav was a crispy papaya salad, so good I had to order a second one! The grilled cuttlefish with spicy lime sauce was another highlight! Yummm 🌶️🌶️ We also ordered a lot of entrees. Grilled marinated beef is my favorite of the day. Khao Kayum Pla was another highlight for me, fried fish mixed with jasmine rice and chili fish sauce. It totally brought me back my childhood, so nostalgic and delicious! Morning glory and stir-fried bitter melon with egg is so yummy (surprisingly not bitter at all) Hmm their cocktails are as beautiful as they are tasty! My top picks were Mr Tamarind Man and BEE nice, but my friend loves the Buay in USA a lot. The second floor is a great extra seating, also cozy and beautiful. It really feel like having dining at home with relaxing music and top-notch food. Oh don’t miss the restroom it smells amazing ! Service was super friendly and welcoming. I’ll def be back for more!

On top of all this, Dagg Thai has amazing craft cocktails that pair perfectly with the meal. I loved the cozy, warm atmosphere too – perfect for a relaxed night out. After a leisurely stroll through the Bryant Park market, I crossed 5th Avenue in search of a great place to eat. My attention was drawn to a round yellow neon sign that resembled the moon. It turned out to be a newly opened Thai restaurant, and its charming decor immediately caught our eye. Our family decided to give it a try. The atmosphere inside was fantastic, with the staff offering a warm and friendly welcome that set the tone for our visit. We ordered a variety of dishes, including pad thai, pad see ew, dry noodles, turmeric fried fish, cashew chicken stir-fry, and crispy vegetables. The food was exceptional—truly unlike any other Thai restaurant in New York. For dessert, we tried tamarind ice cream and a three-flavor custard, both of which were unique and delicious, unlike anything we’d ever tasted before. I was particularly impressed by the presentation and the bold flavors of each dish. The prices were also reasonable. DAGG Thai has quickly become one of our favorites and truly deserves 5 stars. We’ll definitely be returning soon. Highly recommended !!!

Just had a GREAT dinner at Dagg Thai, a new Thai restaurant close to Bryant Park. Tonight we ordered fruit salad, crispy veggie and grilled cuttlefish, which taste so good, as our appetizer. For main, I would recommend Pad Se Eiw, Chicken Cashew and Pla Tod Kamin all these dishes are amazing that I can call authentic Thai taste. Lastly, we ended out meal with Tamarind Sorbet, Custard and Toast and Caramelized Banana. To be honest, the food here taste so good that remind me back when I was in Thailand so if you look for some real Thai taste, do not hesitate to stop by Dagg Thai. Also, the atmosphere and service here are very welcoming.

NYC's newest Thai hotspot! A friend's Instagram post led me to this place. Upon entering, I was struck by the warm decorations and inviting ambiance - instantly feeling at home. Exceptional Service Attentive servers and bartenders made me feel welcomed. Delicious Highlights 1. Crispy Papaya Salad: Fresh, zesty perfection! 2. Fried Pork Jerky with Chili Paste: Medium spicy, savory bliss! 3. Overall, dining at this restaurant was a delight from start to finish. The delicious food, impeccable service, and charming ambiance made for a memorable experience. I highly recommend the grilled cuttlefish and scallop bite. They're super delicious and flavorful. I also tried the pork jerky which is a traditional Thai marinated fried pork strips. Then, I continued with Pla Tod Kha Min which is fried whole bronzino fillet with turmeric and garlic. You can't go wrong with that. I also got the Nuer Yang, grilled Wagyu steak served with spicy chili dipping paste and the Larb Lamb with is served with larb salad, were so amazing. The Kang Pu crab curry is a burst of Thai flavors. Dagg Haeng noodle was the best noodle that I've ever had, love the crispy pork. After that, I finished my dinner perfectly with taro puff and tamarind sorbet. I would highly recommend this place to all of my friends. I would be back anytime soon to satify my Thai craves.
