Servers were friendly and good recommendations. The space is warm and inviting. Love the mural behind the tables. Food was delicious. I ordered drunken noodles with shrimp and crab racoon. I usually only eat half my meals to save for later, but it was so good I forgot to stop. Thus the picture of the empty bowl.

The place is very chic with its decor and ambience. Unfortunately, the food has lots of headroom for improvement. The Thai Tea was served in a way thin glass filled with ice, the yellow curry was not thick enough and though we took the Veg option, we were charged an additional 3$ for Veggies, making us wonder what the dish would have had if we didn't get the Veggies in it.

Superb all around and the full menu isn't even out yet! Service was great and the FOOD!! Ordered the chicken basil thai rice with medium spice and a thai tea and it was well worth my money overall. Taste through the roof on the rice, though do be warned if you're not about spice you may have to do without it even if it's medium. A couple of bites had me reaching for the tea, but it was well worth the eat. And the price may seem like a bit but it's great bang for your buck considering you get two portions worth for the price. I can't wait to have more and can't wait to dine in as well. Hella recommend this spot. (Pics are from when my family n I ate here as well!!)

The food was delicious I highly recommend the pad kra poa seafood. The service was great, the staff were so helpful. The atmosphere was a sophisticated taiwanese inspired, beautiful. I was surprised that me and my partner were the only people here about 2 weeks ago. I will definitely be returning.

Revamped Thai Ocha; New name, same owner. Located near the Superdome, next to Willa Jean. Street parking. It's a small restaurant but also have outdoor seating available. The interior decor is simple but the gold leaves chandeliers are the finishing touches to the beautiful restaurant. We ordered a lot for two people because of course, I wanted to try a little bit of everything. We had the crispy calamari, shrimp tom yum, papaya salad, spicy drunken noodles, basil fried rice, and mango sticky rice. Everything was absolutely delicious! The flavors were well curated. Some dishes were a tad spicy but nothing overwhelming. It's a good type of spice, "kick". But then again, everyone's taste buds are different, so maybe spice levels may be requested for adjustments. Service was superb as well, considering how busy they were. Everyone seemed to work well together with smiling faces and kindness. The only thing I wasn't too fond of was the noise. It was extremely loud because there was one large party. So, of course, every other table had to talk loudly or scream over one another. With it being such a small restaurant, I'm assuming it'll still be loud even without large parties. Besides that, this is easily one of our favorite Thai restaurants in New Orleans.

We definitely loved this place! Very worth it of the money and experience. We’ve been to Thailand ourselves before and this restaurant is seriously closest to the taste we’ve tried before. Recommend the place 5/5⭐️ Also, they have Chang beer that is hard to find in town! My boyfriend ordered Khao Soi and its hard to find restaurants that serves this (He definitely loved it!) The dessert was amazing and well-plated. I also had a vegetariam friend who ordered Tofu Pad Thai and she said that the Tofu was well seasoned! Will definitely go back and recommend it to people we know in NOLA and Mississippi. Good Job as well for all the staff! Very welcoming and accommodating. ❤️ I just hope that people will find this gem like we did in this big town. 😉❤️

Just had the best experience at Dahla! Went with a couple friends for the last little bit of Happy Hour, so we each had a couple different fun and delicious cocktails. The ambiance and vibe of the restaurant is beautiful! That chandeliers really stood out to me. Now the food, we each got a dish that was suggested and every one was absolutely amazing. The explosions of different flavors and perfect spice levels will have me back at Dahla very very soon. We even had the ube cake and Coconut ice cream for desert which was the perfect treat to end our experience. The service was perfectly attentive. Both owners came to greet us and make sure we were enjoying ourselves. I can't wait to go back and try different things on the menu!

The BEST KHAO SOI in New Orleans. It's so rich, creamy and coconut-ty. There's a nice balance of fried and soft noodles. The curry itself is so good that I usually ask for rice to eat with it. If you had to pick 1 item, I would try this! For appetizers, we usually order the crab rangoons and papaya salad and they are both delish. Other great dishes that I've had are Pad See Ew & Pad Thai. Drinks- lychee mojito- very refreshing. Desserts- mango sticky rice - sweet and warm; ube cheesecake- not too sweet, very creamy and soft. The ambiance is great for date night, fancy dinners, meetings, lunch. It's very intimate and modern. Service was very fast and the bartender, Bobby, is so personable and friendly. He is a master of drinks! There's street parking available and this is located near the stadiums so reservations are a good idea, especially during games.

We visited this place on a Wednesday evening. We were a larger group of 8, we called ahead to ensure they could seat us prior to walking over. Service- it started off a little rocky. I felt with our larger party we weren't welcomed. The restaurant is very small, so I get it. We also had 4 kids with us who were very well behaved during the entire restaurant visit, but I feel they are catering more to adults as the restaurant was rather dark. Service ended up being better. I think only two men were running the entire place. They were both making the drinks and waiting on the tables. They were hustling, but the drinks took FOREVER. Food- it was all delicious. This is the reason for the four stars. Quality and pricing was just right. Food came out piping hot, the rolls were cooked so perfectly crispy that the kids couldn't get enough of them. Overall, nice place. But not family friendly.

I ordered the pad Thai shrimp for dinner. Service was very attentive. The pad Thai itself tasted a bit too much of ketchup/tamarind. It came with like 7 big shrimp but the shrimp seemed to have been fried separately and then added which was disappointing. Overall it was only ok! It satisfied my craving for noodles but that's about it. The coconut ice cream other folks were raving about was fine but nothing mind blowing, as many others had said.

The thing that impressed me the most with this restaurant was how accommodating they were with my son. I came alone with my toddler son and they helped me get my stroller in the area safely and were talking to him and being soooo nice to him. It really warmed my heart! Food is great, wall art is beautiful. The coconut soup with shrimp for $10 is one of my fav dishes! We live around the corner so we will be back!

This is one of my best dining experiences while in NOLA. The food tasted authentic and the portions of the dishes were fair for the price. One star off because the Tom Yum soup was way too small for the cost and the additional $3 fee for a small scoop of rice is excessive. We should get a small bowl for $3 like you do in other Thai restaurants.

Wowowowow! Had the best time and meal here last night. The food was AMAZING! Atmosphere and ambiance was stellar. And the service was great! We ordered several things but these were my favorites: crab rangoon, the chicken pad thai (the best I've had in New Orleans), the spicy drunken noodles, and the ube cheesecake. Such a great experience. I will be back!

Wow, this place is delicious. It can get super busy at peak times, so plan accordingly! I haven't had anything here that isn't absolutely delicious. Every meal is perfectly cooked and seasoned. The portions are a great size. The spring rolls are my personal fave. It's relaxing and beautiful inside, with kind and attentive wait staff. 5/5 rating for sure!

Really enjoyed this tucked away gem in NOLA. Loved the decor and the vibe. It's small-ish but feels open and has some beautiful decor on the walls and light fixtures. Enjoyed their Thai iced tea which was small but delicious (i would ask for less ice next time). We got their drunken noodles and their spicy basil fried rice with chicken. Both were amazing! We did medium heat which let the flavors come through but was not very spicy. I'm intrigued by their desserts but we didn't try them this time.

I have been looking for a Thai restaurant and Dahla did not disappoint. This is a small restaurant nestled right in the CBD the inside is beautiful and the ambiance is so chill and mellow. We went during happy hour and I started with the strawberry lemon drop. It was pretty good very strong lemon taste and it was definitely not a weak drink. For the appetizer, we ordered the fried shrimp dumplings. I really enjoyed these as dumplings are one of my favorite foods, and I had never had them fried. 7/10. Then I went with my go to entree chicken pad Thai. The pad Thai noodles were full of big pieces of chicken, had a great flavor, the noodles were a little over cooked and I loved the spicy chili sauce served on the side but overall a delicious dish. Definitely a restaurant that I look forward to going back to especially for their happy hour!

Nice neighborhood restaurant serving good food. Off the beaten path so there's always space, and the ingredients are simple and delicious. Great service and our waiter was prepared with some recommendations. Ordered a few appetizers and the shrimp and vegetables. Everything tasted great and it's an easy place to come for a meal or a few drinks.

This place is soooooooo good. I've gone 3 times in 1 week lol. I love the basil fried rice and drunken noodles. Crab Rangoons are delicious. Every time I visit the staff are amazing. Food comes out quickly and is always hot and fresh. I like to sit on the patio for a nice breeze. The inside is not very big at all. This place never miss so if you're a fan of Thai please give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

got chicken in my tofu drunken noodle and was told that it was egg ‍ edamame is trash too. And it's not that spicy super mid and over priced in my opinion 2 stars for the tofu being fried nicely

My husband and I came here last week for a date night and had a wonderful dinner. Ambiance is slightly upscale casual, with low lighting and beautiful interiors. We called ahead but no need for reservations for 2, at least on the Wednesday evening we went. The service was attentive and everything came out pretty quickly. For drinks, we tried the grapefruit martini (lightly sweet and refreshing) and Chiang Mai nights (play on an old fashioned). To eat, we got the edamame (standard, good), tiger tears beef salad (awesome, so flavorful), Sai Ua (awesome sausage, slightly spicy but not overly so), green curry (delicious, complex, not heavy), Tom kha lightly sweet and savory, creamy but again not heavy) and chicken pad Thai (freaking awesome-best I've had in the city) This will most definitely be our new go-to Thai spot in Nola, and for the occasional date night too. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out!

The happy hour is great! There's a good variety of cocktails to choose from and the appetizers were good too. We had the crab rangoons, the fried shrimp dumplings, and the spring rolls. Everything was tasty and full of flavor!

This place is truly a gem. I have been twice now. We went tonight. I had the Masaman Curry with chicken and my wife had the Pad Woon Sen with Chicken. Both were incredible! The curry was warming, light and flavorful with the perfect amount of spice. I could literally eat it every day. The young man who greets you upon arrival is one of the owners, and he is a terrific host, as well as the other staff. It really is just this modern, hip, low-key restaurant that is producing great food and delivering next-level customer service. The must trys: Masaman Curry. Strawberry Lemon Drop - it is outstanding!! The shrimp dumplings are next level.

Where do I begin? This is by far our favorite restaurant in the city these days. Everything, and I mean everything is just fantastic. I'd recommend trying one of their craft cocktails made with love from their fabulous bartender Bobby! Their appetizers, soups and, salads are always a good option for starters and you literally can't go wrong. My favorite is the Tom Yum soup! I've tried a fair portion of their entrees, the basil stir fry and the Pad Ka Prao Khai are probably the two dishes I get most often. The entire staff here is just wonderful and they always make us feel like we're family! Must try place if your looking for Thai food in New Orleans!

Great food and atmosphere. We went on Saturday and they had a happy hour menu available which we weren't expecting! It's a smaller restaurant so we had one server who was great. A great restaurant to order a couple apps and entrees then try a little of everything. It's located on Girod st between O'Keefe and Rampart not on O'Keefe as maps directs you.

While I didn't get any pics because it was a work lunch, I must say this is a great spot in the CBD! The Thai fried spring rolls were good, the crab rangoons were delicious, a must-order, and the Pad Thai was so flavorful. It's on the sweeter side like Pad Thai usually is but I put some pepper flakes on it and loved it. Service was good and the place has a good size. It was a very nice and calm environment. I want to go back to try more stuff!

First time eating here for lunch and I loved it! We were seated immediately for lunch around noon. The interior inside was beautiful and they had a full bar. Everything I ordered was so good and reasonably priced! I ordered the papaya salad, chicken larb, and the spicy drunken noodles. They also have pickled chili peppers to add onto your meal if you want the dishes more spicy. I can't wait to come back and eat here again!

Super cute new Thai place in the CBD! Smaller, intimate setting so definitely make a reservation if you have a larger party. I came with two other people on a Saturday night and we were able to be seated without a reservation since we were a smaller party. They have a gorgeous bar and lots of cocktail options- I had a passionfruit mocktail and it was great! We got the pad Thai, khao soi, and pad see ew, which were all so good and filling. The highlight of the night was their coconut ice cream - definitely a must!

Met up with some friends at Dahla during a conference in New Orleans. The food was amazing. Don't miss out on the crab rangoons and the sausage for appetizers. The service was excellent. We were given perfect recommendations and everyone loved their meal. I had the Pad Kra Pao Gai - totally satisfying my craving for spice. It was so good, I came back a few days later to try the spicy drunken noodles - equally delicious. The restaurant is gorgeous, with the beautiful mural and exquisite chandeliers. We finished the meal with an amazing purple cheese cake and a crepe cake split between us all - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I've tried so many things from Dahla, and I love the food. My top personal favorites are: - Stir fry basil - Stir fry fresh ginger (very gingery and so comforting) - Tom Yum soup - Drunken noodles - Coconut ice cream - Ube cheesecake Service is exceptional and very attentive! I wish I had a Dahla closer to where I live. 10/10 would recommend to all my friends.

I liked this Thai place. The pad Thai passed standards. The atmosphere and service was great. The star of the show had to be their coconut ice cream. Was so fresh, I wish they had it in pints. I'd say reasonably priced for a upper scale Thai place.

My husband and I had a light lunch here and we will definitely be back to try more items. We shared the khao soy and the Tom kha soup. All do the flavors and textures were wonderful. The service was great and the restaurant is really pretty.

I was super excited to try this place considering the 5 stars review but left disappointed. It took about 10/15 mins to get our mocktails while other people that were sat after us at the bar, received there drinks before us. Once we ordered, the food did come out pretty fast. Crab Rangoon filling wasn't mix well. It seem like they just spoon a glob of cream cheese in and spread the initiation crab meat on top. Not really any season to it. Chicken pad Thai was too saucy which made the noodles mushy. Basil fried rice was decent. Larb was good. Service was mediocre.

Yes please!!! We went on a Friday afternoon and it was not too busy. We got an indoor table right away which was nice because we walked there from the French Quarter and it was very hot outside. It's a beautiful layout inside. Service was very quick and friendly. The cocktails were a little pricy at $14.00 but worth it. My husband has the Pineapple Margarita and I had the Mojito. Dinner came out pretty quickly. My Spicy Drunken Noodles with chicken was perfectly seasoned, spicy but not overly done. I had a bite of the hubbies Pad Thi and it was also full of flavor. We can't wait to go back and try more dishes.

Then I would over cook the shrimp and don't add anything to them. Presentation was nice but this food would have made a great doggie bag for the stray dogs and rodents in the neighborhood. Definitely a waste of money.

Dahla opened up fairly recently and it's exciting to have access to a Thai restaurant in the CBD. The restaurant is located close to Rouses Market and it took over the location of an old Vietnamese restaurant. I had the Basil Fried Rice and tried some of my friends' Ginger Fish and Panang Curry and everything was pretty good. The Thai Tea here is also is really refreshing as well. Just as several of the other reviews mention, the service here too was outstanding and very professional. Hope to come back again in the future!

Dhala is a very cute spot to have dinner! It's located right in the middle of downtown. I went there with a group of friends on a Tuesday night and we were seated right in the middle of the restaurant. The restaurant was pretty full when we ate there, and I can see this place being packed on the weekends. Service was great. They were very attentive and accommodating, and our drinks were always getting refilled. Our food came out pretty quick too and it was delicious. I ordered the green curry, and it had a good balance of sweet and spicy. The kick starts happening after a few bites. Overall, my experience here was great, and I think this place is worth checking out.

We had great service here on a Saturday during vacation. I'm shocked there wasn't more of a wait. We enjoyed all of our dishes. We ordered the spring rolls, crab Rangoons, phanang curry, and phad thai. Pictured here are the desserts they had available which were also really good. The restaurant is beautiful!

Food was great! Service was amazing! Love this place. I only wish is that there was more privacy when dining. You're sitting too close to the table next to you and you can hear everything.

We have been waiting for Dahla to open and the day FINALLY came! We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. It's beautifully decorated and the dim lighting makes a great date night spot. They had a large bar area and a decent sized dining room. The chairs were very comfortable! They had lots of great options on the menu - vegan and vegetarian friendly! We were given glasses of water and ordered a Thai tea (amazing). Our server(s) were very attentive and refilled our water glasses quickly. We had the fried spring rolls as an appetizer, and they were delicious. I ordered spicy drunken noodles with chicken. My boyfriend ordered red curry with vegetables. It came with rice on the side. The plating was SO perfect! Everything was so well seasoned. We came on their opening day, and we were surprised with delicious Thai ice cream & strawberries after our meal. We will most definitely be back.

Ordered fried rice, white rice, tom kha and thai tea. The tom kha tastes pretty good and so does the fried rice. Everything is pretty expensive for their portion sizes that they give. Their thai tea is not good either. It's probably the most flavorless thai tea I have ever had. Spent $16 on the tom kha and it came in a tiny container... Plus we asked for utensils and we did not get any in our order. We had doordash utensils because we're staying at a hotel and do not have any access to utensils. Thanks Dahla! I don't like to be that person but one thing after another is just not alright...

The food was pretty good. I got the stir fry. It was seasoned well. The service was great and they were accommodating. The ambiance was nice. They had a low light setting. The prices were reasonable.

Super cute spot! The only thing that was off was that is was very hot inside the restaurant. I'm not sure if there was a problem with the AC on the night I went but it was not refreshing during this hot summer. I came with a group of 5 and we called ahead for a reservation. We started off with Thai spring rolls, crab Rangoon and crispy calamari. The calamari looked different than I expected but everything was good! I tried the shrimp tom yum soup because a friend of mine recommended it. It had a sweet flavor to it which isn't my style for soup but I could see someone really enjoying it if they do like a little sweet and savory mix. For my entree I got the pineapple fried rice with shrimp which was really tasty! My friend got chicken pad Thai and I also enjoyed that as well! After we ate here we ended up ordering it again on uber eats a few days later and we tried the basil fried rice that time and it was so good!

The food was delicious and the presentation next level. We had a party of 8 and sampled several appetizers; crab rangoon, dumplings, spring rolls and gyoza! Every appetizer was amazing but the crab rangoon was next level. The entrees were amazing as well! But above all else, the service, atmosphere and attention to detail is what stands out most. I'm certainly going again!
