Lost a customer of 30 years. This was the only Chinese restaurant I ate at in glen Burnie for the last 30 years and now I have to find a new place. My sweet and sour chicken came burnt again. The first time I let it go but this time I decided to call. They told me that a 70 year old man (me) had to drive all the way back up there and show them the burnt chicken. When all they had to do was ask the cook if he packaged that mess. I guess the cook is blind though because that wasn’t an option. They would rather put an elderly customer to work on the investigation. All this over $12.95. My family will never be back.

I love this place. And my parents do too. Great food, hands down the best Chinese food we have had since we moved here. I will post an update when I remember to take pictures of the food so you can see 👀 what I'm talking about lol

The staff is always friendly and quick service. The food is amazing, best food in the area for sure! And to top it off, the prices are affordable!

I asked my wife, what did she think it was?And she said the same thing. I called the restaurant to address them about the problem.And they basically called me a liar. Please stay away from this place 😩

I ordered shrimp and broccoli (which was good honestly) with fried rice. I wasn’t half way into my rice when I initially thought I saw a bug. It turned out to be a rotten carrot. I wasn’t paying that much attention while eating so it’s possible I ate other rotten pieces... Just be careful and look at your food before/while eating. 😕

Good way smaller egg rolls so skinny . Really went down hill since the other people left . Won't be back ever

More a carryout place than a. Eat in restaurant although they fo have tables you could eat at if you wanted.

I have since moved away from Glen Burnie but every time I'm in town I have to get Dai Kim. Haven't found another Chinese restaurant as good as they are! Love the orange chicken combination platter w fried rice! 🤤

We order Chinese weekly and this is the ONLY PLACE we get it from!! Large portions, great tasting, super friendly on the phone when you order and fast delivery. A++

we ordered 2 shrimp and broc and 1 shrimp and mxed veg. we recvd 1 shrimp and mixed veg and 2 beef orders.

I ordered Garlic Beef and they gave me pork. I know beef especially Garlic Beef since I order it all the time. I did tell the girl nicely, "I think you guys gave me pork" she said, "no,it is beef." I mean the food is good but I just think about those that don't or can't eat pork.

so sad to see this place isnt rated higher BEST PLACE IVE HAD IN GLEN BURNIE!! when you walk in you always get greeted never super busy most ive waited was 15-20 minutes. the food is amazing wings are great! their prices are great too even delivery is cheap! the store has a cute vibe to it with nice jade pictures on the wall and fitting yellow chairs. located right in southgate shopping center so perfect area to do shopping and get great chinese afterwards 10/10 recommend!! pleasee check these people outt

We have ordered here many times between 2020 and 2022. Service is always great, very polite staff. When ordering over the phone, they repeat your order back to you to be sure that everything is correct, and when picking it up, they go over everything and point it out so it is easy to be sure you got everything you ordered. For large purchases, you can mention their coupon deals and get a free smaller item as a bonus. Food tastes great, too! :)

I've been going to this place daily since 2019 when I moved close by, however food had gone down terrible. I think they must be under new owners and new girl who answers the phone is slow at taking orders. I ordered a combination platter with the pork egg roll included and order a shrimp egg roll as well. They never marked which roll was the shrimp one and my daughter had hair in her food. I called in reference to this matter and said no one is wearing hairnets because my daughter has hair in her food and the young girl told me to bring back they would make over. I didn't take it back because I have no ideal what they would do to the new order and never even offer to refund my money for her food. If you order delivery it doesn't come as fast as it use to and you might not get your food for over an hour or more after calling it in. They have certainly lost my business and I will be going else where's. Food doesn't taste as good as it use to.

My go to for carry out Chinese there's nothing fancy about this spot it's your average Chinese carry out style restaurant every-time I've ordered from here the food is always fresh the portions are a decent size just recently we ordered combination lo mein it was very good I could've did without the imitation crab meat it was really mushy we also ordered beef and broccoli it was really good as well as the egg rolls they were really good as well. One of my favorite things is this restaurant is exceptionally clean compared to others I've been to in the area. The employees are always nice.

I love this spot. Great food. Great people!!! When I moved away, I couldn't find anything that tastes nearly as delicious. So, we travel back often to order dinner.

Called, busy tone. Walked in and she had a little attitude. Food took forever. Only thing holding up was the taste of the food. Wish customer service was implemented more in this place.

I have been coming to this restaurant for 18 years and have never made a complaint. Tonight I ordered the seafood combination for the first time. Much to my dismay, what they list as CRAB MEAT is actually IMITATION CRAB STICK and there was not a single piece of lobster. The vegetables were not a combination... Just a bunch of broccoli, a few carrots/onions, one baby corn and a small mushroom. See pics. When I called, the manager was very combative. She did not at all apologize and instead tried to rationalize and make excuses. I have never been treated this way by any manager or owner of a restaurant. She did offer that if I brought the food to them, she would give me the one piece of lobster. She did not even offer to replace the whole dish. Just the ONE PIECE lobster. I would not even waste the gas or a plastic box for that. She also said the vegetables are the way it "always is" and the imitation crab meat is the way EVERYONE does it. She actually suggested I look at other restaurants menus as if I live in a hole and not been to other places! I have been to many other local restaurants where they are very transparent and list "crab stick" or "imitation crab" if it is not going to be the real deal. Still in shock and will never go back to this restaurant again. I see they have low ratings and it now makes sense. Had the manager been remotely kind and tried to make it right in a reasonable way, I would be leaving a very different review.

Dai Kim has some of the best fried wings in the area. Quick service not over priced and they do deliver.

I should've known it wasn't gonna be a good idea to order fish when they don't even have Tartar Sauce!! Only reason they got 2 stars because the wings were good.

Can't complain about the staff. We ordered takeout, she was friendly and delivery was prompt. The food on the other hand, was below average. Fried rice was just white rice with soy. No vegetables- but peas. Weird. No egg...carrots...anything really. Not the worst in a pinch but wouldn't order from here again. Food had a grease/oil taste to it.

The combination meals are usually tasty and a good value. I ventured out and ordered a specialty entree of Happy Family @ $13.00. Had it delivered which arrived promptly. There was only two pieces of shrimp, one tiny scallop, two slices of roast pork, some chicken and beef. Also, there were 8 large cylindrical pieces of who knows what! The texture was like tasteless string cheese. Horrible. I called the restaurant and was told that they had no idea what I was referring to. A few days later, I went to see the manager or owner. I was told that this person only comes by to collect the money. So I showed a picture of the foreign "cheese" and was told that this is imitation crab meat. I replied that there's no crab in Happy Family. He said, "that's how we make it. You can ask anyone." I replied, your menu description doesn't mention any crab and for $13.00, I'm not paying that for imitation anything!" I was not offered my money back nor a free remake of Happy Family.

Horrible! They are ignorant to new age delivery and refuse to use more than 1 driver even on a busy Friday and Saturday night. They refuse to use companies like Grubhub to help with the deliveries. They will fail and lose a lot of money and business the way they refuse to change and be more efficient. When I called and asked Why they don't just get more drivers if they are always busy.. the man played dumb and said I don't know we are busy. When we finally got our delivery 20 minutes late.. it was cold and incomplete order. I called back and they refused to make it better and the guy played dumb again like he doesn't know American culture. The place has gone way down hill. To top it off.. there was a small black hair in my fried rice. Worst Chinese restaurant ever!

Very horrible customer service. I got my ordered delivered and it was not what I ordered. The lady on the phone had an attitude and debated that I placed the order for something I never ordered. I then had to drive to the restraunt to get my correct order. Upon walking up to the counter the lady was very rude so I requested a refund rather than deal with the attitudes. The cashier told me i couldnt get a refund because i opened the food.The manager came out and told her to go ahead and refund my money, took my bag and called me "Stupid" before walking back to the kitchen. Please keep in mind I never had an attitude in this process nor was a rude.

trifilin ass chinese food. theyre disrespectful & have bugs. i ordered shrimp & broccoli & it had a dead fly cooked in with my food. on a separate occasion i order 2 egg rolls thinking they were just shrimp. well the regular egg roll have pork in it which i do not eat i am a pescatarian. i called and asked if they would switch it as i cannot eat pork or any meat besides shrimp ( seafood). the young worker was rude & argued with me for 10 minutes after i explained i couldn't eat them. he told me to either take the egg rolls , pay for 2 new ones or just leave the store. i will never in my life eat at this shitty ass dirty restaurant again!!!!!!!!!! THEY DONT TRY TO ACCOMMODATE CUSTOMERS. THEY BARELY WANT TO GIVE YOU A REFUND WHEN THEY MESS UP ON THEIR END. IF I COULD GIVE NO STAR I WOULD.

Yelp deleted my last review because it was too real for them, so in short the food is good but pick up your food don't get it delivered because there delivery service Sucks!

i placed an order @ 12:18 to be delivered to me at my job they arrived an hour and twenty minutes late and expected me to pay for cold food and when i refused they snatched the food and tried to take the money out of my hand. I called to tell them about my experience and they hung up on me i will not be ordering from them anymore.

Food is ok for take out american chinese, large portions. But I wont order from them again due to rude service. The delivery man was too concerned about his tip to even say hi to me and the lady that took my order would not honor their own coupon thats attached to there menu, which was not even expired.

Am a world traveler and lived in many overseas countries. This little place has the best chinese food around! Been coming back for 30 plus years and none can compare. Try their fried rice, egg rolls and sam see dishes. Flavor full, fresh and worth the drive.

I've been coming here for years and the food is consistently good. I only get carry out so I cannot comment on the delivery service quality but the food is very good. The one think I will say is when they tell me 15 minutes for my food to be ready I usually leave my house 15 later and still have to wait around. But other than that this is my go to Chinese food place.

HORRIBLE Customer service. I am muslim and pescitarian and they gave me rice with pork in it. when I called and asked for rice without prok they said they are "too busy, get white rice next time" it I could give this place a negative star I would. food was not even good. don't waste your time. you better off getting some Panera bread.

I walk in here last night to order chicken and rice and the guy at the front was vary rude and acted like I was bothering him sat in there to wait for my order when it was ready he just threw my bag on the counter with no forks or napkins so I went back to get some and he kinda shoved it in my hand the food was ok but the customer service really sucks

So my husband and I used to stop in for the lunch buffet. Then they removed it and we just decided to have the food delivered. Once with the bad attitude, not speaking and lack of pen to sign the receipt is one thing but EVERY time? We eventually decided to just pick up but noticed our food was never ready on time and the staff became more rude as the food became worse. We drive to another Chinese food restaurant now and I just want to warn people that this place is awful.

I found hair in my food. Front staff rude! No desire to appropriately compensate me for ruining my lunch. Forwarding my complaint to the health department.

This is my Chinese place to go. I recently got Chinese food from a different place and they did not compare. We go for the lunch specials and have it delivered. The old delivery guy does not speak much English but he gets our food to us hot and delicious. I have not had any problems with the order people - even when I ask for no mushrooms. I've been coming here for decades.

Food was really good but service can use some improvement. Got the singapore mei fun and an order of crab wonton this time. It was delicious and prepared well. Don't get delivery. It took an hour the last time, though the food was still warm. Pick up was suppose to be 15 minutes but was more like 25 minutes. Bottom line: very good food and mediocre service.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I live around the corner from here and it was one of my wife's favorite places to eat. One day they messed up my wife's order and when asked to remake the order right. The daughter of the owner stated that they were a family business and would lose money if the order was re-made so she offered to picked the cooked onions out of my wife's food and put uncooked onions in it instead. ow gross it that?! How dare you "pick " through someone's food let alone even offer that as a suggestion. The girl had a very nasty attitude and horrible customer service and tried to blame it all on a couple the ordered before us that was difficult to handle. That is no excuse, I have over 10 years of customer service experience and I have NEVER treated a customer that way. If she felt that strongly maybe she should be washing dishes in the back with little to no customer contact.

The most rudest service ever. The lady yelled over the phone when I was just asking a simple question. Never ordering again.
