First timers - I brought my 3 year old son in for his favorite snack and was immediately welcomed with big smiles. Not only from the lovely woman serving us but from all the loyal customers sitting at the rail. We received so many compliments we blushed. Truly the best part of our day. Can’t wait to devour these donuts. Thank you for this moment it was very memorable

I was in the area for a dental appt of all things, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to check this place out. You gotta love old school, simple shops with quick and nice girls up front, and hot and fresh coffee?! By the way-this is one of the best sour cream donuts I've ever had, and I came up on Dutch girls. So grateful places like this are still up and running.

A lot of reviews say locations sell out of the speciality donuts early, so I made sure to get to the shop early (6:30am on a Saturday early). All donuts were still in stock and they had a great selection. As soon as we walked in, the owner say my daughter and gave her a donut hole to snack on while picking her donuts. Absolutely loved that gesture! We got a dozen ($16.00), and my daughter picked the fruity pebbles and fruit loops, of course. My favorite donut has always been blueberry cake and a sour cream glazed. But i've seen a ton of good reviews on their cherry chip, so went with that over blueberry. Got home and had the sour cream glazed and it is PERFECT! I love the crispy edges, yet soft center. The glaze was the right amount of sweet. I'm so glad I got 2. We will definitely be back. These donuts were fresh and delicious!

Very plain donuts, for the price they changed, I could have gotten a donut from Kroger that was better. Never retuning.

My favorite all time doughnut place. If you are a doughnut fan, you MUST try this establishment. It's been a number of years this little shop has local and regional recognition for how delicious their doughnuts are! A must try are: Sour cream crueler Red velvet Traditional glazed Eclair Apple fritter Jelly filled Seriously you can't go wrong! The owners store operators are so nice and customer friendly!

Last few times attempted to buy donuts and there are none by 8:30 am. The excuse is they underestimated sales, this business has been in existence long enough to gauge their sales. They seem unable to keep up the storefront location on 15 mile and the original location on 9 mile. I will drive further to get donuts since you can't depend on this donut shop to have donuts. You have one job.....

I came here because I had a gift certificate. The donuts were actually very tasty. The white cream filled donut was plentifully filled, and wasn't all dough like some shops. The sour cream donut was also firm, but nicely glazed. Besides the donuts, though, the woman working behind the desk wasn't extremely friendly, and she was rather irritated when I inquired about some of their more unique donut flavors that I wasn't familiar with. Their parking lot is also a complete disaster, and was overly crowded. BUT, if you want a great donut that's pretty inexpensive, definitely give them a try.

Hands down the best donuts in the area! Great bagels, too. Great customer service and the goods are always fresh! Daily Dozen is the only donut shop that I'll get out of bed early on the weekends for!

The BEST by far.I believe that I have been to every bakery In the area.Many have good Donuts. Its hard not to make a bad Donut. The Daily Dozen Donuts in my opinion are the best. All the Donuts seem to be made with top notch ingredients. The custard filled crullers are so good I can't express it.You have try for your self. Daily Dozen gets 5 Stars. Jim

3 things: great donuts, great selection and great staff. Yeah, found this gem on way back to hotel from hockey rink. Parking lot was packed, so you know it's good! Friendly and fast service, and the donuts are awesome. Give it a try if in the area.

We make a point to try to get doughnuts everywhere we travel. After research of doughnuts in the Detroit area we settled on making the drive to Daily Dozen in Warren. It was a great choice! We got an assortment of doughnuts and all of them were fantastic. Got there about noon on a Sunday and there was still a decent selection. No wait and a friendly gentlemen helped us promptly. All the doughnuts were quite fresh and had a great taste. My favorite was that powered sugar one with a delectable cream filling. The price was great too compared to a lot of places we visit, we felt like we were stealing for such a low price for a dozen. If you are into doughnuts- you won't be disappointed.

I don't get all of the hype about this being good donuts, I don't think it's any better than... Dunkin Donuts or Tim Horton's, which I think are both below average. I ordered the strawberry fritter looking thing with cinnamon, 2 buttermilk, 2 cinnamon and 1 custard and chocolate donuts. I think the buttermilk is okay, but the dough is too mushy, should be more crispy with the buttermilk frosting, the dough on the custard and chocolate was decent and the custard and chocolate was pretty good. All in all it was okay, but no where near the caliber of donuts of Dutch Girl Donuts.

I am not a fan of donuts...but I am now! OMG, these are the best donuts ever. I don't have any pictures to show of the donuts because I ate them. Mom and I arrived relatively late for donut hour; we arrived at Noon on a Saturday. Most of the donuts were picked over, meaning there was a lot of empty bins but the remaining donuts were delicious! They all looked so good I decided to order 3. I had the coconut custard, dipper and the sour cream donut. I liked the dipper because I thought it looked cute with the little handle poking out, turns out it was cute and full of crispy, vanilla deliciousness. The coconut custard had a toasty coconut outside which covered all of the donut, not just the top, and the inside was a light pudding. The sour cream was not too sugary and full of creamy smoothness. I will return at an earlier hour. I swear I'd like to get there when they open at 4am just so I could taste them fresh from the oven. If you are near 9mile and Schoehnerr do yourself a favor and stopped by for the best donuts ever! P.S. I believe they now have a store in Royal Oak. P.S.S. At the Warren store it is cash only.

Daily dozen has gone down since opening the other storefront locations. They have been out of donuts by 9 AM, not just one variety but quite a few, makes me kind of sad , sometimes bigger isn't better.

The donuts here are excellent! Unfortunately, they tend to sell out by 10am and the Sterling Heights location has VERY limited hours. I wish they could make enough product to offer more hours. I have encountered closed doors and/or little product available enough times that I don't even try anymore. I have found a couple of other places just as good, with greater variety, that I am willing to drive a little further for knowing they will be able to service me and my family.

Best place to get donuts ! I ended up with a dozen which only cost $9, you can not beat that at all. They only take cash so there was no tax :-) I got bunch of different donuts all which were good but I have to give a shout-out to my top 3 blueberry, red velvet and strawberry moonrock. We went early to ensure fresh donuts and that they would be fully stocked. I wish I lived closer because I'd go at least once a week but I think I will make this a monthly treat for sure! Definitely recommend this place. You will not regret it.

This is a wonderful place to get donuts. The variety and selection of donuts is one of the best that I have seen. I have been several times and have been pleasantly surprised with their ever-changing donut of the week. This week's donut was the Strawberry Shortcake. A French Cruller filled with strawberry jelly and creme in the middle. The myriad donuts we have had include the Oreo, Red Velvet, Samoa, Apple Stick, Lemon, Moonrocks and many others. The only downside is that they do not accept credit cards. We will be going back.

I'm sad that I visited this place so late in the day because all the good flavors were gone! FYI late is like 1pm on a weekday. I drive by all the time and finally stopped in. I tried the Dutch Crumb donut and it was so good. It tasted so fresh and moist..I was pleasantly surprised. That particular donut was very messy but I would definitely get it again. The woman working behind the counter was super friendly and inviting. I cant wait to come back in the morning to try other flavors! The parking lot is very small so just be careful!

The sour cream and glazed doughnuts smelled and tasted greasy. So disappointing. Maybe they need to change the oil more often. The gentleman behind the counter did not wear a mask or gloves, during the COVID19 pandemic. His fingernails had black dirt underneath. This is not sanitary food handing even in normal times. He used a wax paper square to pick up the doughnuts but then left it in the box. Clearly they need training on food handling. Needless to say I will not be going back.

Stopped in here before work in a rush, just to grab a bite to go and was not disappointed, feels like a mom and pop shop inside and service is amazing, the donuts are the best I tasted and are supreme quality I would definitely recommend this place and I will absolutely be coming back!

I have been purchasing donuts here for years. Creative, unique flavors and the pumpkin donuts in the fall are excellent. You have to get there very early to get the best selection. Industrial sales guys, these donuts are great sales tools. My customers crave these things and they are all smiles when you show up with them.

Always passed this place on my way to work, stopped in today and was blown away by the selection! Doughnuts are made in the building daily, The best doughnuts ive ever had!! Highly recommend stopping here!!!

Sadly, as often happens with a successful business, the owners decide that more is better. Now the Daily Dozen has three locations and the quality has suffered. The donuts are smaller, the prices have skyrocketed, and it has lost the once "corner donut shop" ambiance that made it special. Trying to support too many family members? Not sure, but they have lost the quality that once made them so special. There are too many places to buy mediocre donuts, without paying the price they want now.

Seriously the best donuts around. Better than any expensive hipster donut place, by far! Custard is my favorite. Cash only!

My family used to frequent this place. The donuts were great. My problem was I showed up today on a Sunday at noon (1 hour before close) and there was nobody there. Just a closed shop. I also double checked hours and they were supposed to be open until 1. Sadly this might be a family tradition no longer available.

Wow! I am a huge fan of custard donuts and this place is IT! The custard is supreme and they put it in a French crueler chocolate topped donut! Did I die? Where am I? :) I 'had' to also try the coconut custard and of course the classic chocolate covered custard donut. Got a dozen donuts and took a sampler to work, they did not last long! Very nice to meet Lauren who is part of the family that runs this place, very pleasant and customer friendly. I will be back, so many donuts, so little time!

driving around the east side, my husband and i saw a sign that said hour detroit best donuts 2018. we are always on the lookout for a good donut. we stopped in and they were almost completely out of donuts, but they smelled great. we decided to put it on our list of must try places. returned the next weekend and we were not disappointed. we love a good cake or sour cream donut, and these did not disappoint. they also were 10 bucks for 12 donuts, you don't see that price anymore now that donuts are the new fancy dessert. can't wait to come back for another dozen! love, juston

Wow! What a great spot! I ordered 5 dozen of the cider mill donuts for a church event. The service was absolutely fantastic! She let me try a few donuts before I decided which one to get and was just super friendly in general. The interior has that cozy diner vibe, where it feels like everybody knows everybody by name. It's cash only and the hours are a bit complicated, but they are open on Sundays until 1pm. I tried four different donuts today and they were all delicious! I will definitely return here for all future donut purchases and you should too!

You can't go wrong picking up donuts from here. They are always fresh, and have a great variety. The only warning I'll give is it is CASH ONLY. These are the best donuts for the price in the area, and it is a family owned business. I think the only downfall for some are they don't have a drive thru, but they are extremely quick and friendly! Will be back.

Haven't had a donut better than these anywhere in the country. Owners are absolutely awesome. My husband's favorite is the large cinnamon rolls. The Michigan cherry with chocolate on top is like eating chocolate covered cherries. Chocolate on the lemon filled come in a close second.

It can't possibly say enough good things about Daily Dozen. Chocolate covered, cream filled French crueler. I'll give that a moment to sink in. The donuts are incredibly good and the staff is down to earth and not pretentious like you can find in other donut spots. I recommend to not only try this place but go out of your way to do it.

I have driven past this shoppe for years and finally stopped today and bought a half dozen. So fresh and yummy! The lady working the counter was very friendly and shared that they started accepting credit cards recently. I will definitely be back!

The donuts here are better than average only. Have stopped here in multiple occasions, if you don't get here before 11 forget about it. They run out of most items and will be slim pickings. That aside if you want a decent donut this is your place. Coffee nothing to write home about btw.

I have been eating these donuts since 1990. The custard filled French crullers are the best. As well as their fancy donuts in the front case. I live in Troy now and make it a point to get there every so often to indulge. Worth the drive and exceeds any chain donut shop in the metro Detroit area!!

Daily dozens Amazing tasting donuts I have ever had. My family and friends just love daily dozens donuts. Paczkl day is Feb 13. My favorite place for Paczkis. They fill them so much there. They are the best tasting Donuts in town. So go try one or maybe two.

Drove all the way here when they were listed as open and they were closed, real nice to do to supporting customers! Guess I'll go support a Corp rather than a small business.

This place is wonderful! Doughnuts are FRESH and homemade AND the service is equally great! The blueberry and chocolate honey dip doughnuts are my fav but ALL of them are delicious! The cedar mill, buttermilk, plain, strawberry moon rock, bowtie..... the selection of doughnut goodness is vast and made fresh daily!

The best donuts I've ever had they are far better than anything from any of the franchise shops like Tim Hortons Dunkin' Donuts or Detroit donuts. They have three locations and I would recommend them to everybody they have specialty donuts like s'mores or Moon rock's, among many others.

This is the best. Was in again today and the customer service is just so wonderful everyone is so pleasant and cheerful. The donuts are still the best too.
