NYC New Restaurant Openings, December 2024 | Eater NY

"A new outpost of Danny Meyer’s all-day cafe concept located in the Rock Center cluster of openings, occupying concourse-level space and extending the brand’s streak of accessible, cafe-style daytime food and pastries in a high-traffic Midtown location." - Emma Orlow

We came here because the BEC cruller featured in the NYT 57 greatest sandwiches and this outlet was just round the corner from where we stayed. The sandwich was indeed delicious but I'd say not particularly great value. And the service, it's more of a counter service, which is fine but can't really get excited about it. Iconic sandwich in an iconic location but somehow pretty average experience.

A jewel that has the finest crullers and cookies. On Easter Sunday we came to Daily Provisions for coffees after lunch. Cinnamon and Blood Orange crullers and Molasses Spice Cookies along with hot and iced cappuccinos rounded out our orders. We took these treats out to sit in the Rockefeller seating in front of the golden statue with the waterfall. Each bite of the cruller sent me to heaven. My friends hadn’t eaten these but I have been going to DP on East 19th Street since it first opened.

The avocado toast with the fried egg is one of the best. Its so delicious and full of flavor. It is highly recommended. However, the chocolate chip cookies is seems as it’s under cooked.

This was a great start to our trip! Located in Rockefeller. Some seating indoors but is right next to outdoor plaza. Their baked items were the star of the show. Our breakfast sandwiches came on a poppy seed roll that was soft and fresh. The maple crueller was something we went back for a second time. Food quality was where it’s at. Would recommend.

Google
The sandwich is delicious! If you’re looking for something fresh, light, and flavorful, get the sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. The sausage is amazing, fresh, with a bit of spice, but it doesn’t overpower the taste of the meat. I absolutely loved it!!! I also ordered an espresso, it’s strong, and I liked it too!

Visited on Nov 7, 2025 at 8pm. Employee behind counter was very rude - black man, I believe he said his name is Ivery McKay. Customer service is not only about providing good service but having empathy for customers. Learn to put yourself in your customer's shoes and feel what they feel. Just because you are behind the counter does not make you superior to anyone.

“The Goldilox” sandwich was delicious, as well as the seasonal cruller. Staff was kind and service was quick!

I had breakfast here, the food was excellent, the cruller looked simple but when I took a bite omg tasty! The service is great, the staff is super friendly and polite, the music and atmosphere is amazing. 10/10!

Yelp
PROS: staff was friendly, food was fresh and came out fast, menu variety was plentiful, good amount of places to sit, prices were good considering the area CONS: the tall tables didn't have bar stools so you had to stand and eat by them. They also had no restrooms OVERALL: excellent place to eat at, as long as you're not looking to use the bathroom

Yelp
Inside the rock center lower level shopping complex, there is a relaxed food and cafe destination. We enjoyed some very tasty hot chocolate which hit the shot on a cold late November day. The location is on the smaller side with about four tables with high top tables and a few bar stools closer to the counter. It is difficult to snag a seat but the turnover is high in the location The daily provision always is focused on quality over speed so the drinks were prepared and hit the spot. We relaxed and saw the ice skaters, tourist, holiday revelers stream by the underground corridors. There is some good people watching at this location. The staff were very friendly and kept everything nice and clean. I can't wait to comeback for a sandwich, donut, or latte.

Yelp
Stopped by for the Daily Provisions x Kiehls pop-up and tried the heritage hot chocolate and holiday matcha crueller. The hot chocolate had lovely peppermint notes and wasn't too sweet. They handled the lines well and although there was a long wait for the donut. There is enough seating and bar space in this location.

Yelp
Nice location and a nice store inside and out, had a thirst for matcha and decide to come be here to get my fix. Ordered a pickup which was simple, nice staff, the matcha latte itself was average, didn't have much matcha flavor in it, tasted a bit too milky/watered down.

Yelp
Dear Daily Provisions, what happened to your crullers?? It used to be the best donut in NYC! I know your lead pastry chef left but I would have thought you'd have perfected the technique by then. Alas, the crullers are no longer as light and airy as they used to be. The structure and texture of it is not the same as before.

Yelp
This is a spacious Daily provisions located down stairs in the food court area. The staff working here are nice and the place is clean. I had never had their hot chocolate before until yesterday and it is pretty good! Their iced lattes and egg sandwiches are what I usually order here.

Yelp
I went here a few weeks ago on a Sunday to pick up some breakfast before I went to mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral. I had the Egg, Sausage, and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich; and the Maple Cruller. The Maple Cruller was delicious! However, I wasn't a big fan of the way the Egg, Sausage, and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich tasted. The lady behind the counter was really nice, and the ambiance was Parisian Upscale Trendy Cafe. I would have loved to sit down & eat my breakfast but the tables were full. I'm wiling to give Daily Provisions another chance but with a different sandwich.

Yelp
Stopped by to grab a sandwich to go. It's located in the rock center food hall. I got the chicken salad sandwich and it was pretty tasty! A good refreshing sandwich for the summer!

Yelp
Came here a couple times for lunch. I tried the tuna melt and the salmon with brussel sprouts. Tuna melt was great. It had a good tuna salad ratio, cheese, crispy bread, and arugula. Brussel sprouts were also great. Deep-fried, crispy, and good dressing. The salmon took a long time to come out and was a bit dry when it finally did. Cashiers were efficient and friendly, as well as their runners.

Yelp
Stopped by to grab a sweet pastry. The maple cruller was great, but it would've been better if I had it fresh, out of the oven in the morning. Service was quick and ambiance is very casual. I'll def be back when I'm craving a cruller!

Yelp
Daily Provisions is my absolute favorite place to get donuts! Their donuts are crullers and on the sweet side, which is perfect for someone like me with a serious sweet tooth. The Rockefeller location has limited seating but if you manage to snag a table, you order at the counter and then they bring you your food. And the staff were great! - The lumberjack: I loved this sandwich! The donut gave it a nice sweetness and a twist to the normal BEC. 5/5 - Egg and cheese sandwich: My mom really enjoyed this sandwich, especially the bread. 4.5/5 - The goldilox: My dad enjoyed this sandwich and the everything croissant was flaky and crispy. 4.5/5 - Latte: The coffee has a smooth, rich taste and isn't too bitter. 5/5 - Chai donut: This was the seasonal donut and it did not disappoint! The chai flavor was there but not too strong and it's definitely very sweet! 5/5

Yelp
This review is just based off of their maple cruller - please get it's so good! A light and airy inside with the perfect maple glaze on top!

Yelp
When you come to a brand new business during the busiest possible time of the year at one of the most densely populated tourist destinations, chances are you may wait 10 minutes or even more for a coffee. So it's a silly thing to get mad at and you should make sure you order a cruller and the other excellent sandwich and salad options here for lunch.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick bite before the Rockettes. Definitely a favorite for the weekday lunch rush! Food was delicious and portions were appropriate. Food came out quickly given how busy the dining and take out orders both were! We ordered tomato soap, grilled cheese, and potatoes. It was fun to watch the ice skaters after lunch while on the lower level.

Yelp
Great location in the restaurant section of Rockefeller Center. I dropped by for breakfast and it wasn't crowded. Lots of to-go orders. I had coffee and breakfast sandwich. I was very happy! Service was great

Yelp
Best doughnuts ever !! Ate the maple one and it was perfect in every way. Taking everyone I know here.
google avatar

Connie S.

Yelp
I absolutely love the ambiance here--chic and inviting. I tried the seasonal Yuzu Cruller; while the texture was interesting, it was far too sweet for my taste. It might come down to personal preference, but I wouldn't order it again.

Yelp
If you just a mixed drink mabe not. Tried the "large" chai latte, under flavored and not large (and I dont mean sugary flavored). Don't mind the mini "large" if it's worth it (16pz), this was not! I suppose food is their thing but best to go to a proper espresso/coffee place.

L A.

Yelp
Waited almost 15 minutes after ordering (and standing in line for 5 minutes behind one person because they move slowly) to be told they didn't have the croissant I'd ordered, after I watched them give people who arrived after me the same croissant. Bad service. Don't recommend.

Yelp
Amazing breakfast sandwich... worth a trip just for the perfectly cooked medium egg!! Pricy, but that's expected in that location

Yelp
Amazing food and great service! Crullers, bacon, egg & cheese and the chicken Milanese sandwich are all exceptional!!! Very reasonable prices for midtown. Highly recommend!!!!

David D.

Yelp
First time going here and I'll definitely be coming back. I had the Chicken Milanese Sandwich which was amazing, along with both of the crullers. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Logan K.

Yelp
Amazing experience and great service! I tried both sweet and savory options and all were delicious. Fantastic coffee too! Highly recommend!

David C.

Yelp
Truly the best option for breakfast around Rockefeller Center. The coffee and pastries are outstanding! Also, the breakfast sandwich is next level. And of course, the service was great and speedy.

Mark O.

Yelp
Manager was super helpful and generous with an order mixup. And the egg and cheese sandwich I got was legitimately the best I've had in the city. Two perfectly medium eggs on a fresh roll.

Person A.

Yelp
Speed. Waited FIFTEEN MINUTES for a coffee after I ordered it. Who cares about anything else if you're just standing there doing nothing.
