This location has the nicest people working. My aunts blizzard order is always customized and over the top and this location knocked it out of the park two days in a row!

This was a Dairy Queen right on PCH in Huntington Beach. It was the Sunday right after 4th of July and there were a lot of people around going to the beach it was a great atmosphere. We had ice cream cones and we got them very quickly and it was a nice place to sit down and eat them it was an awesome day

Super friendly staff, good came out quickly. Location is right across from the beach with plenty of seating. Only about 4 parking spaces but we were lucky and got one.

Dairy Queen on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach California. Wow- great views in Surf City while you set and eat your perfectly made Blizzard. This location also has a grill for good orders. The location was clean for a beach restaurant and the staff was pleasant. It has outdoor seating and handicap parking and seating. Overall my Blizzard was perfect and the view was great so I give it 4.5 stars of yummy

Right on PCH, so the atmosphere is great. However, our Oreo "Dust" blizzard was not OK, and they refused to give me any extra oreo crumbs so I could add it to my basically-plain-vanilla blizzard. I get they don't want to lose $$$ remaking it, but giving extra oreos to fix a problem? Seems reasonable. We love DQ and get blizzards regularly, but we won't be returning to this location right off HB Main Street.

Got someone’s wrong order and tried to call to fix the mixup but store was closed. Explained to management and had my receipt plus my card. Very odd experience. Glad my cc company reimbursed me, never had this happen before. Not worth the price either.

Good place for a quick drink and snack, with seating outdoors, I did see a sign that said there were no public restrooms

This is an old school Dairy Queen. It only has outdoor seating. They do have a grill at this location, so they serve hamburgers, French fries and chicken strips that aren’t half bad! There is also a drive thru, but it causes this location to have only four usable parking spots. If you’re driving here, you may be lucky enough to get a spot, but if you’re not you will have to park elsewhere and walk. The location is mostly clean. The outdoor seating next to the beach leads to some seagull issues. Service is quick and friendly!

Wow! You know what you're getting as far as product at DQ. But I was not expecting the friendly service. Our cashier was great and when we received our order the employee was kind, too. What a nice surprise. And a tasty Blizzard, of course.

So much to choose from and everything is so good! Service was fast and friendly. Still the best sift serve ice cream.

if i could give this 0 stars i would this is the WORST dairy queen EVER my friend dropped it by accident and if was her bday and they REFUSED to give a new one even though on the sign it says that if it droppes then we have to give u one and all out ice cream melted so quick

The location is great, right across the street from the beach. The food was just okay, nothing special. It felt a bit expensive for what it was. $46 for two meals and two shakes. Also worth noting: there's no restroom available for customers.

Stopped by Dairy Queen for a little treat. The staff is friendly and very efficient! Had our order completed very quickly! They have a small seating area outside, so we got to enjoy the weather. Not all Dairy Qyeens have both vanilla and chocolate soft serve - this one does! Great experience!

"Grill and Chill" If you are looking for something fast and not necessarily nutritional...then you have come to the right place! The onion rings go well with a Caramel, Chocolate Malt (smile)....which is delicious! Especially in the late evening! And don't forget that the ocean view is spectacular! So take a stroll along the beach; drop in for a treat; and then briskly walk or run back to your hotel!

Service was actually great! Young people work the registers and were helpful and friendly. The food and ice cream is the usual Dairy Queen standard but the small dining patio was trashy and the two garbage bins were full. Probably short staffed where they couldn't keep up on this Saturday. Location is right across the beach so it's super convenient to grab a snack.

Hello travelers, If you love ice cream and who doesn't you gotta come to DQ's out in Huntington Beach, CA and try one of their banana splits or chocolate sundae's they're delicious

The food was not like Texas Dairy Queen. A lot of menu items weren't there.... food seemed kinda okay. Workers were super sweet, gave me a million napkins one time, when I witnessed a dog get hit by a car near by. Dog's arm snapped. The Dairy Queen workers let me use their drive through to gather napkins so I could compress and stabilize the bleeding dog. Owner was not english speaking. Driver that hit the dog offered to take them to a vet. Owner was in shock and left not wanting anyone to talk to him.....

While out trying to find a late night treat and some sodas Dairy Queen came in clutch! So much is around, but not open as late as we'd of liked and in walking distance from our hotel. Service was great and even though they were busy they were so fast at getting g our order taken care of. Most importantly my ice cream was fantastic as always and my kids loved the soda! Vibe is what you expect from Dairy Queen, but with a better view.

do not get anything dipped unless you want to eat candle flavored ice cream, only one i've liked so far is the chocolate. the cherry and confetti cake is just gross imo ambiance: just a drive through next to the beach still nice views

They really need to work on their customer service. My 4 year old son dropped his cherry slushy right after they gave it to him. Guy at the counter saw my son crying and still said we needed to pay for a new one. No sense of empathy.

I hear that the burgers at this place are pretty darn good. But whenever I go to a Dairy Queen it's to get a Blizzard. It's not a shake so don't call it that! it's a Blizzard. Half shake, half ice cream, rumor has it that for now still like all of Dairy Queen history as soon as you get served the Blizzard you can still quickly briefly turn it over and the contents of the paper cup won't up end or fall out. I've tried it, it works! And tastes great.

Whenever we are in Huntington Beach we always stop by here for their soft serve cones and cups. The staff is always friendly and the soft serve yummy! This Dairy Queen location has been here forever. I temember coming here when I was in high school and it's been a long time since Iv'e been in high school! Haha! Definitely a local landmark.

Menu was not the same as online. Paid $18 for a burger meal and an ice cream cone. Online a burger meal was advertised at $7.49.

This DQ is always busy, because of the location, but I've never had bad service here. I've had "teenage" service, but they're learning... I mean, for many of them, this is their first job and it's not easy for an experienced cashier or customer service rep to help the public, but they're doing okay. All of the people we encountered were friendly and answered our questions and when we asked about certain things. Overall it's a cute and prime location, right across the street from the beach. Perfect place to come for a snack and definitely a place to come for ice cream, shakes, or a slushy. This location also has a drive thru, which is super convenient, especially for grabbing treats for the ride home.

i don't know why i don't try another place. again, the ice cream machine wasn't working so i didn't get what i wanted. i ordered a vanilla ice cream instead of a half and half.

Fast quick service drive-through for ice cream or shakes. Short drive to the pier enjoy the view.

My rating is only for the ice cream. The soft serve dipped cones are always amazing and so are the blizzards. I've never had a bad experience here yet and nothing beats DQ on a hot day by the beach.

This Dairy Queen is one of my favorite places to go get a snack. There costumer service is good always. My Dads favorite thing there is the Orange Julius. My Sisters favorite thing there is the blizzard. My favorite thing there is the Flame Thrower Burger and the Cheese Curds it is incredibly good. My favorite thing to drink there is the Orange Julius Mango Pineapple. It is so good and sweet and cold for a nice sunny day. I can't wait to go back there soon thank you Dairy Queen you rock.

I don't know what is up with all these low stars, guys! This is an American institution and should be treated as such. I have been going to this location more often than I care to admit for the last 3 years and they have been consistent. Their butterscotch dipped cone is my favorite dessert probably ever and I dine at fancy restaurants. But there is just something about a soft serve cone with butterscotch coating that is tres magnifique! If you're going here thinking you're getting a healthy amazing meal, you'd be disappointed. But if you partied hard and need something tasty to soak up your poor decisions, this is your spot! Get a grilled cheese and a small ice cream and you'll be right as rain!

Had my first soft serve at this location in HB in the last 2 years. I ordered a Soft Serve large with Chocolate Dip. What a waste, It was like Frozen Ice Milk. I won't go back that is for sure. They don'e know what Ice Cream is, in my opinion.

Love this Dairy Queen location. Me and my girl come here all the time for ice cream and fast food on the beach. It is somewhat of a hidden gem on the beach, because when you are driving on the PCH, they can be hard to find. I really do not like the parking structure here. Sometimes annoying bikers take up all the space kind of loitering in front of the place. But, anyhow we were here last Tuesday, and it was less people. We enjoyed our ice cream and all of different flavors in all. The customer service was good. Nice young people working here.

Was craving ice cream while strolling on HB on a hot sunny day and stumbled upon Dairy Queen. I do like the location of this place as it is walkable distance from the beach. As I enter, it doesn't seem like it is very well maintained and run down, reminded me of the Dairy Queen in the 80's. It's outdated in the lobby area and I highly suggest that it needs a good facelift to keep up with the trend! Was greeted and placed my order, the customer service wasn't the greatest. It felt like he couldn't wait to get off his shift. I thought the pricing was steep for a cone. Anyway, I ended up getting a chocolate dipped vanilla and it was ready in a few mins. I sat outside to have the cone and it was sticky on the seats and trash everywhere. I give the benefit over doubt that the wind blew the trash over here? Regardless, cleanliness of the seating area is questionable. This dairy delight stop is very old school. Licking my cone and ignoring all the details made it just a lick better.

This place is a go-to when going to the beach, but recently me and my friends ordered 1 burger combo along with 3 other burgers and we were missing one burger. As we weren't really expecting that we would be missing anything since this place hasn't let us down, we were disappointed. Nonetheless we still ate what we had and it was still fine. (Bring back the popcorn chicken )

What's better than ice cream and the beach right across from it, not much! this Dairy Queen location has that. If you're near pacific city like I was, I was able to park my car in the underground for 2 hrs if you validate. Then, I walked across the street to Dairy Queen, for a blizzard and cone. They offer drive thru and walk in. Luckily, there wasn't any line when I entered. They have a variety of items from cones, dipped ones, blizzards, sundaes and shakes. I went with the classic vanilla. I made the mistake of walking across the street with it and it was a warm day and everything started melting. Next time, I'll get the dipped one to last longer lol. Can't complain if you come here for ice cream since there's so many around.

Dairy Queen is always great but the blonde girl working in the cashier this evening shouldn't be interacting with customers.

This location is unbeatable, and this DQ has been around for as long as I can remember. There are even parking spaces, which is a rare finding in this area. I think they do a decent job here, and I come here for the oreo blizzards. Tried the chocolate dipped cone but it was pricier than I expected so I don't recommend. They have a drive through for convenience too. Overall a good option if you are looking for a standard ice cream place around main st HB.

I love this iconic location that is on PCH across the street from the Huntington Beach Pier and caddy corner to the upscale Pacific City shopping center. I love their hamburgers but usually go for their ice cream blizzards. They have many different options like Oreos cookies and cream and Twix to name a few of my favorites. I like how they turn the cups upside down and the ice cream doesn't fall out of the cup or you will get a free one. They have been making people happy since the 1950's

NOt sure why we or I kept missing it! Well, it was literally in front of me when my kids pointed it out! Duh! Small little corner on PCH and THANK GOD it was OPEN! Deep breath! Absolutely satisfied our craving! My baby T-Rex was happy! Happy family for happy kids! Stellar fast service!

Service sucks. Go to the Warner location! Fast and they make good blizzards and they're not skimpy on the toppings! EDIT: Ordered online which gave me a time for pick up. DESPITE not having any customers to serve, we had to wait until the time for pick up before they made our order WTH! #facepalm Visit again? Maybe after a staff overhaul!

Service was great. But it surprised us that this location only serves hot dogs. Plus it's ice cream of course.

What are you people thinking regarding price! I live local and purchased One medium cone and a small Sunday, $9.75 cents! Bidenomics are alive and well at DQ in Huntington Beach! Never will you see my ice cream loving face again! Sad!

You can't go wrong with ice cream. And then you add a blizzard to your ice cream and it's a super winner! I had a delicious royal cheesecake with strawberry filling while my boyfriend enjoyed a good ol fashioned Reese's blizzard. We'll change them up but for real, any blizzard is fire!! Drive thru line moves relatively quickly for being a beachside spot!

BBQ wings barely have any sauce on them??? Come on guys this isn't even the bare minimum. Nor did they ask if I wanted any sauce and put no ranch or ketchups in.

Also, thanks for being open during this crazy time - the world needs DQ's precious soft serve now more than ever!!! Worst customer service ever, every single time we come here. Buncha punk lil high schoocollege kids who don't understand basic fundamentals of common courtesy. "It's a Dairy Queen what do you expect" I don't care if it's Dairy Queen or Disneyland, treat others with courtesy and kindness.

Not sure how people can give this place 2-stars..... it's DAIRY QUEEN ? Like what were you expecting in the first place Now that we got that out of the way, this is the place you hit after along day of checking out beach bunnies or catching some gnarly sets brah. These kids are literally working as fast as they can so don't be a jerk to them like I've seen. You'll get your food that you probably shouldn't be eating anyway in due time, so just CHILL- like the name says Fat kid tip- ask for extra candy but stick to a small and your candy:ice cream ratio will be Prime location. When you have a craving for an ice cream dessert look no further than DQ. We always love to order the dipped chocolate cone but on this visit I also ordered a strawberry sundae with whip cream. We ordered at the walk up counter and after paying the desserts were already waiting for us at the counter - super fast service.

Good thing I paid cash cause the girl who didn't know the special promotion rang it up full price even though I paid the promo price. This place is overwhelmed and understaffed. Another time they told me they would charge more for a variation in a promotion but it came out to full price and no promotion which he should have stated so I said no thanks I should have just ordered extra on the side but they probably wouldn't allow that either so I think I have to avoid DQ completely and go to Mcdonalds

Yikes! My family of 4 came in today and we ordered dipped ice cream cones. When handing them to us the gentleman was holding all of them with his bare hands on the cones! I'm mortified that anyone would put their hands on food we are about to eat!! So disgusting and unsanitary and ESPECIALLY for the times we are living in!!! YUCKKKK!

My grandson and I go to this location only because it's the nearest one to us. But we're definitely cutting back extremely because it's pretty dirty. The cashier handed me my cup of ice cream with FILTHY gloves so much so that it was two-tone. Posted are photos of a Brownie Sundae that was served sloppy and barely any ice cream. It looked like someone already ate out of it. The manager sucks in customer service...BLUE BOWLS here we come!

Nostalgic! My husband and I came on a Thursday night, it was relatively empty so we were assisted right away. I got the brownie dough Blizzard in a small cup and my husband got the chocolate chip cookie dough Blizzard in a medium. I remember as a kid I would love flipping my cup upside down and see my Blizzard stay in tact so it was a trip down memory lane

This place is extremely slow. I stopped here for lunch since there was no one there, I thought it would be quick. Somehow they still managed to take 17 minutes to give me just one burger. I got no combo or drink. This is the slowest service from a Dairy Queen, it's next to the street and has no comfortable seating. Benches made of metal that hurt.

Poor customer service. Felt like it was a burden to the staff when I asked for napkins. If they had been offered in the beginning I would not have to ask. My order was messed up as well, asked for chocolate dipped cone and received plain ice cream cone. Assuming it'a a management problem and suggest they look In the mirror. Regretfully.

This place is pathetic every other Dairy Queen I went to I order a peanut butter cup blizzard and I just happened to be in Huntington Beach this week and I ordered the blizzard as always with chocolate ice cream in it and I got it at the window with only ice cream in it . I mixed it and saw no peanut butter or candy or anything and I asked them if they can just remix it or something and they said "it's cross contaminated sorry we can't do anything about it." These we're honestly clearly just young Hugh school kids that didn't want to do their job. I don't recommend this place at all.

They never have cheese curds in stock. Last time I went, ordered a large fry and they gave me a regular size. Not gonna come back.

Was craving a Choc. Chip Cookie Dough Blizzard drove 15 min out of my way. Turns out I got Vanilla Blizzard with No Cookie Dough Chunks. Drove all the way back and talked to the Manager he refused to remake it with Cookie Dough. He finally offered to remake me a mini but I paid for a small. I told him just to add Cookie dough in the one I already had. Very unprofessional and unfair. If you are in the Huntington Beach Area or Visiting i highly recommend the Dairy Queen in West Huntington Beach off : Bolsa Chica & Warner.... friendlier no big line. Blizzards done Right .
