Dairy Queen (Treat)

On at least four different occasions, one of which was Friday, July 4th, holiday weekend, they were OUT of chocolate. Each of these occasions was spaced by about two weeks. How does a business that has only two flavors of soft serve frequently run out of one of them? We finally went to Ashland with a cooler and bought six blizzards and stored them in the freezer. Three days ago tried one more time rather than go into our stash. They had chocolate, but were out of strawberries. Some of the help is rude, even the one who we think is the new owner. I hope we are wrong. They need much better control of inventory, and much better attitude on the part of some. We have given up on Marlboro and will go to Ashland or Westboro. I wonder how many others feel as we do.

Very friendly staff at this treat-only Dairy Queen. My blizzard was slightly on the runny side (but still served demonstrating inversion). Would go again.

I’ve ordered cakes from here in the past which have always been good, but this week the DQ team outdid themselves! $30 for this awesome 10” ice cream cake!! Thank you so much!

6/29/25 2:30 pm got 4 blizzards they didn't do the upside down test. The blizzards were more of a shake. They were already running down the side of the cups when they gave them to us. I probably won't be back.

This DQ is a staple in Marlborough! Great staff and amazing ice cream. This will always be a good to!

I didn't go here last time I got directions here because it was already closed, which is one of the reasons I could only give it four stars. The other is that it was already closed because it doesn't have indoor seating. Other than that, I love DQ!

I love getting my pineapple sundae with whip cream and nuts. Always clean, always pleasant. Which they would clean out the trash more often on really hot days the smell is horrific and makes it hard to sit and eat at the benches.

It was a beautiful Spring day so the line was there, but there were 4 people (including managers) tending the window so there was very little wait! Knocked down a star for food because, like everywhere else, it seemed like portion sizes shrunk, (not as much as Friendlies), and prices are up! Medium Oreo Blizzard = $7.50 🤷 I can only imagine how long the lines would be if prices were Pre-COVID, and advertised as such! We would be standing in those lines for sure! Anyway...everyone was working hard to serve the customers and we appreciated that! The ice cream is as always delicious!! 😊

Went to the store tonight I understand the store closed at 10:00 if I'm at the window at 10:00 pm the least you can say is " we can't serve you" instead the three young lady's ignored us completely which was very disrespectful and disappointing .

This milkshake made me feel like I could kill Batman. I was bumping T.I while absolutely downing a milkshake trying not to kiss the Dairy Queen wall.

Exellent choices. I enjoyed my blizzard. They have some food choices, But not a full Brazee , like Worcester. Fast friendly service with a smile and welcome. She was the employee of the month. I can see why.

Ice cream and service were good, but we were very disappointed you didn't offer food other than hotdogs. Any chance you'll starting offering more food options? I love the DQ Brazier food.

Flavor of the Month: Thin Mint (Actual Girl Scout Cookies). Genius. I'm keeping it overall three stars, but it's a four star month!

BOYCOTT MARLBOROUGH DAIRY QUEEN!!! Staff is rude and gives attitude. Blizzard was NOT served upside down like it was supposed to be, and rude employee starting swearing and cussing at me saying he would not remake it when it spilled and was not made properly. He then said "We don't need your business" as if you should ever speak to a customer that way. Owner also LIED and tried GASLIGHT ME by saying that she saw on camera that he did not serve it upside down like Blizzards are supposed to be served. Owner accused me of being a liar and said she was offended, well I'm the one who was gaslit and I will not be spending my money at this location for any reason.

Only DQ in Clinton and conveniently located on High street about half a mile from downtown. Staff was friendly and they served the standard DQ ice cream fare which is delicious

Dairy Queen for lunch? Why not? (And this is an ice cream-only location...) It's not Ben & Jerry's, but Blizzards are blissful!

I like soft serve ice cream. I like oreos. I like chocolate covering that turns into a hard shell. If you like these things, together, hit up the DQ. Can't go wrong.

Eh place is a hit or miss. Go one night get an Oreo brownie sundae and it's great go the next night get a banana cream pie blizzard and there's 0 bananas in it. This place had been my pregnancy craving and it sucks when you don't get what you crave.

This location seems to have improved since other reviews have been posted. They now accept credit cards and serve more than ice cream. I have always been a DQ fan and I am glad this location isn't too far from where I live. They are open later in the evening than some other locations so you can come here after it gets dark in the summer and still be able to get your blizzard on.

I mean. It's Dairy Queen. Oreo Blizzard with Peanut Butter Sauce... How can you go wrong?

Horrible experience .. plain rude .. no please or thank you . One star is a understatement.. ice cream was al melted by the time it got to the car . Waste of money ... next time I will know better and cross town to friendly where they appreciate your business and greet you with a smile

I don't really like reviewing chain businesses but i figured I would this time. I've been coming to this dq since I was a baby. Recently this place seems a little run down and maybe low on staff. I don't know how many people they usually have working but when I came here there were only 2 people working. It was very slow, maybe it was what the people ahead of me ordered, but either way I was waiting in line for awhile. I will keep coming back to this dq because it's the closest to my house but I wish it was a little better.

I paid $27 for a freezer burnt cake. It was obviously in the display case for quite some time. They need to do a better job of rotating things out. I drove all the way out there to get the cake. I should have bought the Carvel cake at Wegmans.

I like coming here, the people who work here are always nice and super attentive to everyone when it's busy, they get through lines quickly and efficiently and I've never heard any complaints any time I've been their. So yea, a solid 4 stars. Just wish there was more parking so that's it :)

I ordered a custom ice cream cake online for my daughter's birthday to pick up at the Marlborough location. The cake was very good and all the kids at her party asked where we got it. The flavor was cookie dough blizzard, but there are other varieties you can select from. It was ready when they said it would be also.

I love it here! The Ice Cream is consistently good. I love the vanilla soft serve with the cherry topping! I cannot wait until they open!

So what's up with this place this summer? Tonight my son and I walked down for the first time this year. What a disappointment. Kid at the counter was all "yeah" for everything I said. Got things really fast, but not really what I ordered. My son's vanilla cone was fine, but my reese's pieces blizzard was hardly anything other than vanilla soft serve. I found a few tiny pieces of what seemed to be reese's, but nothing really identifiable. I think we'll give this place a pass for the rest of the season.

Ah, disgusting? What exactly is soft serve? It's not ice cream. Is it a floor wax?

AWFUL customer service, it took almost a hour to make 2 icecream blizzards !!!!!!!! Our server was also taking pictures of the customers, very displeased and won't be back to this dump hole dairyqueen
