Google
Absolutely love this sushi place! The service is great. Very homey feel, great local restaurant. The fish is DELICIOUS and they don’t skimp out on the fish. 5/5!

Google
Chelsie and Jenny got amazing customer service ! The food was out of this world ! We have now been to both locations and Love them both! Weather your a local or from out of town this place is a must try!

Kristina Hazen

Google
Love that they brought back AYCE. One of my favorite sushi places in Vegas. Consistently fresh and delicious food and the service has always been amazing.

Cooper Leaton

Google
Really excellent value. I loved the garlic albacore and the eel tempura nami temaki

Google
Cute place! We live around the corner so we figured we check the place out. Small portions but we have 90 mins on all you can eat. Everything was refreshing!

Miss Robinson

Google
The food was good, it is pricier than average but that’s because you get better options than normal. 12 piece Sashimi & hand rolls are included with premium. Regular dinner includes riceless rolls. Their nigiri only has a pinch of rice. We sat at the bar. Staff was super nice & attentive. Menu has a good mix of things. I will be back.

User_303

Google
Got to hit it with a 5. The sushi rolls were fresh and delicious. Chicken Raman was fantastic and the mochi for desert capped off some great flavors. Staff was friendly and Andre is a skilled Sushi Chef and took the time to share their process and why they are different. These rolls will rival $100 strip rolls at 1/4 of the price.

Google
Everything was delicious-the calamari was crispy, the green mussels had excellent flavor as did the yellowtail(hamachi), the cha su bun and the yuzu cheesecake were just perfection! The service was wonderful and the wait for our table and the food was not long. We will be back often!

Yelp
Everything tasted delicious and service was great! Pass on the eggplant skewers, get extra of the aged tofu.

Yelp
I purchased a Groupon package. I think I paid like $14 and you get $25 worth of which is awesome. it was delicious. The service was great.

Yelp
This place is okay. I did the to-go and it wasn't great. I just wish everything was fresher. I may give it another go but sitting down instead of takeout.

Yelp
I went here after watching YouTube. But the food came out so bad for the price and the server was really unfriendly. This restaurant sells white tuna. This is oil fish and not tuna. I told the server about this and it's not illegal. Eating oill fish can cause abdominal pain and diarrhea. It's a waste of a star here. What a waste of money. One more Temaki is too soggy to eatRight Food is 0 Star

Yelp
Our second time coming here. Our first time was so great that I hesitated to make a great review since I didn't know if the portions and prices are always this great. We came here again today and wow! You get quality service, huge portions and a very nice atmosphere. We enjoyed blue tail, uni. salmon and some oysters along with a couple rolls. Everything is great!

Yelp
Bring back the AYCE and just charge more. This used to be the hot spot for lunch. Now it is just dead and over priced

Yelp
I have been a big fan of this restaurant for years now. I am a sushi aficionado and after trying many sushi restaurants in town such as sushi koma Yama, Oyshi gorilla and tsumo, I had fallen in love with Daisho. Until now, apparently the owners have decided to commit sushi suicide. What was a $25 sashimi plate w rice &8 pieces is now $49. I chose the small sashimi plate for $25. It had 5 pieces of tuna and nothing else. I got 3 pieces of nigiri sushi for another $36. The bento box and chicken Katsura were another $40 together, and were on par with L&L diner. The service was good but for these priced I am expecting Nobu quality. This is no Nobu. The owner must be looking to kill this business for a tax write off. No other explanation for taking this place from first place to worst place.

Yelp
Happy hour is a must! 40% off regular rolls and chef special rolls. So basically, buy one get one free. We got 4 rolls and the bill was less than $40! Fresh fish. Quick service. I went on a Saturday right as happy hour started (3pm-6pm everyday!). There was only about 6 people in the restaurant. Another 6-10 showed up as we were leaving. For a weekend day? Where most places require all-you-can-eat dinner prices? The happy hour is perfect. They do have all-you-can-eat menus as well. Dinner was around $37pp. I'll be going back!

Yelp
INCREDIBLE FOOD AND SERVICE! I've been coming to this sushi spot for years now and it does not disappoint! Yes it is no longer all you can eat however the quality of fish is outstanding and there is a variety of menu options. Trust me you'll love it! Chef Andre and Chef Samoa are sushi masters!

Yelp
This WAS my fav AYCE sushi place in Vegas and they DO NOT serve AYCE anymore!!! I repeat, NO MORE AYCE!!! I was a semi regular to this place and brought many friends here. They all loved it because of the freshness of the fish and it was a hidden gem. I came here on last Sat night and found out they changed it to "Izakaya" style. It took me a good 10 mins to wrap my head while I was staring the new menu. I used to paid $45 with tips out the door. The bill was $240 (Including tax and tips) for 3 of us. The price was outrageous, 2 pieces of tuna/yellowtail nigiri were $12. I ordered a hand rolls combo, 3 small taco style hand rolls were $30. Between 3 of us, we ordered 6 appetizers and I was still hungry after my hand rolls + apps. (I have to clarify I'm 5'3 and 120lbs, so I don't have a HUGE appetite.) With no interior design changes, I really don't understand why I would paid $80 here while there's so many choices in Vegas. Honestly I would rather pay a bit more for omakase. They might want to match the menu on the rainbow location, but man wrong move!! Will I be back again? Most likely not!! Unless they are changing back to AYCE with the same quality in the past. I'm super disappointed and sad they made this irrational decision because the business was really slowwww on a Sat night. Side note: I usually excited about taking food pictures. I didn't even bother to take pictures that night. =(

Yelp
Well we have another new favorite sushi spot!! We stopped in for Happy Hour and we're wowed by the variety of options, quality, pricing, service and overall experience!! Sushi rolls ordered were all excellently prepared fresh with perfect fish to rice ratio and appropriate saucing and recommended by waitress.. salmon skin roll had perfectly crispy skin drizzled in sauces. Albacore roll simple and perfect.. no rice rolls were excellent, the highlight being the Triple Bomb which will be my forever go to here that have all the best fish in cut segements with piles of mixed fish cubes atop!! SO WORTHY!!‍‍

Yelp
Been here a few times and the food is always good. All the rolls, baked green mussels, oysters are all delicious

Yelp
First time here with my son around noon the place had a few guests but no problem getting seated right away. Our waitress was a very nice girl took our orders promptly and answered any questions that we had. We had decided to go with the dinner menu which is a little bit more but we figured might as well try every because if you get the lunch items there is less to choose from. We got seared tuna nigiri not bad but not really seared, seared salmon nigiri was seared better and had a nice taste, super white tuna was very good with a light sauce added not needed but was still tasty, the saba nigiri was cooked most other places offer it raw which I prefer I don't recommend this one unless you like it cooked. The blue crab meat nigiri was very good but that was part of the dinner premium nigiri along with the uni, blue fin, fatty toro, oysters fried or fresh, sweet shrimp. We also tried a few appetizer like Ika karage , starfish which is very good definitely recommend this, the Korean pork belly is ok these are part of the dinner menu and it's 1 order per person. The food came out in a timely manner and the waitress was on top of her game. Will be coming back here when I'm on the east side.

Yelp
Amazing food, clean restaurant and quick service! Always a great lunch stop for sushi!

Yelp
Daisho is no longer an AYCE sushi restaurant. For some reason I was also pointed towards different items on the menu rather than the ones that I wanted.
google avatar

David E.

Yelp
2 out of the 3 of us who went there for lunch got sick, the one who did not did not have sushi or raw fish.
google avatar

Jille A.

Yelp
Used to be great sushi and excellent service with an amazing ayce menu....but the quality and the service had been going down hill for several months so we stopped going. I was in the mood for one of my favorite dishes there only to find out there is no longer ayce. The portion sizes havent changed nor had the quality returned to the previously amazing standard and the prices are now outrageous the food dry and overcooked or very small portions. Nobu prices without Nobu quality, sevice, atmosphere (the decor is that of a local bar).
google avatar

Yelp
So I ordered the Japanese Lasagna. I didn't realize it was crabmeat smothered in cream cheese and not wrapped. I had to eat it with a fork. Very odd dish compared to other places I have had it before.

Yelp
Food 3 of 5 Salmon belly was great as well as all the other cold items. Oil was not hot enough for frying items like tempura, calamari, shrimp heads, & soft shell crab. Items were drenched in oil & greasy. Fried shrimp heads were cold when brought to table. Food rating would of been a 4 if not for the issue with oil & items being cold that should of been hot. Service 2 of 5 Male waiter with a pony tail copped an attitude with us immediately after we started ordering food with a snotty question to us & showed the attitude all night long. He seemed super annoyed he had to serve our table. Male waiter would drop dishes at the table not telling us what items were. When he did manage to tell us what items were or were were able to catch him before he ran away from the table his voice was low you could hardly hear him. Several in our group were trying to order more & he would just walk away ignoring our table. Female waitresses were only thing that kept the service from getting a 1. They were friendly & nice & would announce dishes brought to table. They also don't honor their free hot sake if you check in via Yelp. Initially were told we are only allowed 1 check-in for our entire party (so only 1 person gets the free sake) then when we mentioned it's on your Yelp page we were told they did actually don't give it at all but since we brought up they would allow us 1 for entire table. What a bunch of crap! If you have the promo on your Yelp page that you've claimed you can control what is on the page so if you're not giving the deal then remove it. They just didn't want to have to give away more than 1 sake. Overall the service really ruined our night for our group. With such a crappy attitude by the male waiter non of us really want to return to spend our hard earned money. We'll go elsewhere where we aren't given attitude & asked snotty questions. Bummed because I've always liked this venue & mention it to people when they ask me for suggestions for good sushi.

Yelp
They're no longer AYCE. Husband and I live down the street and have been loyal patrons for years. We will probably never eat here again due to the new pricing. Probably will still order happy hour (even tho they changed that too) but nothing else. Very sad day - we considered it our favorite restaurant! The sad part is that they were somewhat slow before... can't even imagine what this change is going to do to this small business now. Bad business decision.

Yelp
Gave this a 5 star, I ordered delivery and it was amazing fresh cut, reasonable size and the price was right I enjoyed every ounce of it and will be dining in for sure.
google avatar

Rylie B.

Yelp
me, my boyfriend and friends used to come here all the time and rant about how good it was but unfortunately they took away AYCE :( prices are just a tad high for us so we have been going elsewhere. Would absolutely pay more for ayce if they brought it back. so sad

Yelp
If you want some really amazing sushi, try DAISHO. The sushi is really really good. Very fresh and prepared by a very friendly sushi chefs. The service is amazing, they have many waiters and everybody helps each other. It's very efficient. Are usually get the all you can eat and even though it's a little expensive I think it's well worth it. the atmosphere is cute and comfortable.

Yelp
Found this place when I was looking for a new spot in the area and it's pretty good! I've been here a few times and have always enjoyed (always AYCE). They have so many options to choose from and do half rolls too, which is always a must for me, especially because their menu is so large (partially repetitive). Today we sat at the bar and personally at that restaurant it was not doing it for me today, the sight of the fish was a little much for me today. The server was very prompt in taking our order, which we always appreciate. I also like how they have a little bit of a different dessert menu than most other places. We like to get the fried ice cream but they also have mochi and fried banana. Over all this place is good but not ~the best.~

Yelp
This was my favorite AYCE sushi restaurant in Vegas for 6 years. I couldn't wait to introduce it to any friends who had never been. Recently management changed and AYCE is no longer offered. Friends and I stopped eating here because of this change. However, I decided to get a couple of rolls to go just for myself this week because the food has always been great and it's near my home. I was seriously disappointed in the quality of fish, not fresh at all. It smelled fishy the moment I opened it, and didn't taste good either, so much so I didn't even finish my order. Two stars only because the service is still friendly, or I'd likely leave 1; when I previously have posted 5 stars here. I am so bummed to say this place is no longer what it used to be.
google avatar

Erin Y.

Yelp
We love this place. Mainly for the food. We order in quite a bit, too, and they always get our order correctly and delivered quickly. The Paradise Roll is my absolute favorite, and the fish is always fresh and delicious. Ambiance at the restaurant can be quite loud (it's small), but the bar-top is decent and service is friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
The server was nice; although new and unfamiliar with pricing. I ordered a Bento box that has shrimp and California roll, I requested substitutions of Gyoza denied, then asked for replacement veggie tempura, they gave 3 pieces of tempura...I didn't complain when I ordered a drink call Labor Day or something like that and it was awful. I ordered a $15 bottle of Soju with a juice back...But when I got the bill and was charged $3.95 for a tap sparkling water and $4.50 for a six ounce juice to accompany a bottle of Soju I disputed cost...Spoke with manager she mumbled something indistinguishable and insisted that the price stands. The food was just ok the teriyaki chicken was swimming in a super sweet sauce, the salad was shredded cabbage with mayo based dressing...The miso soup was good. Needless to say I won't return.

Yelp
I had forgotten about this place . This is good spot great prices . The place was busy and smelled good as soon as we walked in the door. As I not longer can take park in all you can eat I just order À la cart .......... we ordered the poke bowl and spicy tuna on crackers Both were delicious the poke was fresh nice sesame flavor and perfect cut pieces....... the spicy tuna crackers where amazing!!!!!! Served warm with sushi rice that had been fried to crispy on the bottom and the top was still soft super Combo The atmosphere was lively service was excellent very attentive I love that they serve their size sauce in a little square container on the table and when you pour it it doesn't drip amazing...... Definitely will be back definitely recommend this place

Riley B.

Yelp
This used to be a dinner AYCE for $30-40, now it's $65 for a roll and a few orders of nigiri. Not to mention the nigiri was hacked to pieces and super thick cut, yellowtail looked inedible, salmon was cut like a brick. I'd rather it be cheaper and sliced more thinly... the baked roll was fine, but I won't be coming back for nigiri ever again sadly. The place was dead on a Friday night at 7:30pm looking ready to close, I was the last customer in there at 8pm.
google avatar

Yelp
It's been a while since I put a review but Daisho deserves it. Daisho is the best AYCE in Vegas - hell yah I said it. When I moved to Vegas I fell in love with the AYCE Sushi - I WAS in Disneyland. But much like many amusement parks, these said AYCE became over saturated and cut corners to make a business.......I get it. Here's said AYCE Sushi model. Open up, offer a bunch of premium nigiri and "Specials of the Day----ooooo ahhhh". Soon said AYCE gets traction and Yelpers be floodin. But here's where the AYCE goes into the sh1tter. Have you been to XYZ AYCE so busy that when you order, your hamachi kama arrives within 2 minutes but it ain't HK. What you got was a piece slightly resembling it that was cooked an hour ago and dried AF. Or better yet - said Yelpers who say "but the fish to rice quality" is on POINT! Naw - what you got was some thin a5 dried fish on sushi rice THAT I made. To top it off, the fish was cut with a plastic knife by a 7 yo. You will be waiting 10-15 minutes for each order so order up but everything they bring out has been individually prepared and served up. They don't compensate by giving you less sushi rice b/c the sushi rice is good. The yellow tail belly is salted perfectly and moister than.....fine i won't go there....... Any side dish and dessert you order is made when you order it. Premium Nigiri is as good as you can get for a $32 price tag. What's best is that when I scanned the tables, NO ONE was ordering the premium nigiri. Perfect - order up the rolls and I'll order the good sh1t. But XYX AYCE is so QUICK. My sushi came out in 5 minutes after I ordered. Quick doesn't mean QUALITY. You can go to a high traffic said AYCE where they turn over tables and tricks quicker than a Vegas G digger. But I'm going to regret putting this review up. I'll keep coming here and really hope that they don't get slammed and they soon follow the model of almost any other overrated AYCE Sushi in Vegas. Daisho's been open for a minute and they have kept all the quality to be the BEST AYCE Sushi in Vegas.

Yelp
Most of the nigiri here was pretty good and ended up being the saving grace of my visit. Some of my repeat orders were the seared salmon and the garlic tuna. They have a extensive appetizer menu and a few of those selections were good, but like most sushi spots there was a one order per person limit, and even then some were only available during dinner time/prices. They had a spicy Korean pork dish that was exceptional, I was legit agitated I was only able to order one. They had a couple decent signatures rolls, but they were somewhat basic; their Philly and tiger rolls were good, and they had a "salmon lovers" and "yellowtail lovers" roll, both having extra of the aforementioned fish with different sauces and vegetables on and in both. With that said everything else I ordered was either lack luster or low quality typical "filler" sushi. I had to mostly stick to the nigiri options since about 90%+ of the signature roll items had godawful imitation crab/scallop mix in them. While there were a few appetizer selections that I like, most ended up being pretty bad; items I would repeatedly order and devour at other restaurants had to be sent away because of the taste and texture. They had a kalbi rib appetizer that I had to spit out due to be too tough and chewy and while I can eat a over a dozen baked mussles at other sushi spots I didn't order anymore after the first "test" order came to my table; it had a weird sauce on it. A butter squid appetizer was just over cooked squid pieces drowning in halfway cooked sauted onions; no distinct flavors were present. The service was good, my items were always brought out quickly, and water was alway full. There were a couple of items that I orderd which never came out and nigiri came to my table one time which I didn't order, but other than that I was very satisfied with the service I got from the staff. My part of town is a sushi desert, so the places I go to are normally 20+ minutes away. I have to know the sushi is worth it based on the time and gas I use to get there. This restaurant isn't one of those sushi destinations; I can't see myself coming back here or recommending it to people I know.
google avatar

Preston M.

Yelp
The most authentic Japanese sushi. I would highly suggest this place. The staff are also great! Top 5 Recommended items: 1. Miso black cod 2. Tuna Poke *side note ALL YOU CAN EAT Poke 3. Amaebi 4. Super White Sashimi 5. Blue Crab nigiri Don't forget to get your fresh wasabi! This place won't disappoint!

Lynn C.

Yelp
We love coming here for their all you can eat! Have been there multiple times and was even there just a few weeks ago. Unfortunately we went tonite to celebrate our anniversary and they are no longer serving all you can eat! We do plan on still going for happy hour (which has changed from 40% to 30% off certain rolls) as their food is amazing as is their service...just a bummer about the menu change.
google avatar

Rochelle A.

Yelp
Food was absolutely delicious. The cuts of fish to rice ratio was perfect, larger cuts of fish, small portion of sushi rice. The toro and salmon belly nigiri were my faves. Their sweet shrimp nigiri was one of the more flavorful ones I've had at AYCE sushi places here in Las Vegas. I also appreciate that they don't put sauce on top of the fish, or if it comes with it, it's not drenched. I can't review rolls since we mostly got nigiri and some apps, but I'm sure they were just as delicious. The snow crab tempura was also amazing, I could eat 3 orders of those! Ambiance is casual, music playing, the chefs were singing along to the playlist. Although the waitress was very nice and attentive, I gave 4 stars only because the service was slow. There was only 2 other parties when we arrived and we waited about 15-20 minutes between orders, and that's us ordering before we even finished our current rounds. They did apologize for the delay, but once more people came in, the longer it took for us to get our sushi. We were still waiting on our last order of eel, ordered dessert while we waited, and the dessert came first. I'm not sure if it was just that day or if this is a normal occurrence. I would still go back though just for the quality of the

Yelp
Expensive but still good, they removed all you can eat and sometimes it takes a long time, other than that the restaurant is good

Yelp
Food is absolutely delicious and the fish is quality. I've been so many times and I'll keep going back. Service is good they get food out quickly. The ambiance is nice, perfect for hanging out with friends and eating your weight in fish. Highly recommended!

Yelp
This place came highly recommended . So we made the ride , which was not bad . Nice bar area ,sports were on ,which was most excellent. The food was Amazing!! every 1 we went w/4 peeps, all ordered different rolls & shared. The place was packed but that was ok didn't affect the service . Definitely a Home run . Will return

Yelp
Came here for a late dinner. Made sure to check in, but when I presented it (free small hot sake with $30 purchase), I was told that they no longer honor that. Their special is now BOGO small hot sake. That's disappointing. Anyway, ordered a bunch of stuff. The Screaming O was great! Thick cuts and a bit of spice to it. The salmon sashimi was also thick, fresh, and very good. Next up was the soft shell crab tempura. All very tasty and fresh. I will admit I'm not a fan of the friend shrimp heads. Little sucker stuck me in the mouth! One last bit of revenge, I guess! ;-) The short ribs were a little charred. The sizzling plate was good, but could have used some mushrooms and less onion. Also order the crab, calamari, and vegetable tempura. I do not suggest it. The calamari was tough. I'm not sure if the snow crab was actual crab or krab. The vegetables were ... One pleasant find was the Johnny Roll, crab meat and shrimp tempura wrapped on cucumber with spicy yum sauce. It was light, crisp, and delightful. The spicy yum sauce with the cool cucumber was a great combination. I would highly recommend it. A few side notes... check the menu carefully because anything with a red hashtag is 1 per person only. Most of the really good stuff is is tagged. Also, we were a little surprised at serving our hot green tea with a regular coffee cup. This is one of the few sushi places I k ow of that has a patio area for sitting outside when the weather is nice. That's cool! As for the service... the host was very friendly, both on the phone when I called in for a table and when we got there. Our server warmed up after a bit. Anyway, there are quite a few sushi places in town. Daisho is a good place to try. Check them out!o

Yelp
Great food, super fast delivery. Order 2 dinner bento boxes and everything was great. Thanks!

Yelp
Overall: Daisho Sushi is a great choice if you want cheap happy hour rolls, but I would never pay full price here for a la carte and most definitely not AYCE when Sakana is just a couple miles away. Food: 4 The happy hour menu includes not only basic rolls but also Chef special rolls. We ordered the Alaska, Nevada, Fantasy, Arizona, and Shark's Tale rolls. My favorite roll was the Fantasy roll Usually specialty rolls outside the basic ones are fairly large, but all of these rolls were about the size of basic rolls at other restaurants. They were not that well wrapped and some of them felt like they might come apart. The ratio of rice to filling was high, but I'm not complaining because of the price. What we got was fair for the price we paid. We also ordered some appetizers including the takoyaki, jalapeno puffs, and shrimp bomb. I would recommend the takoyaki and shrimp bomb. There wasn't that much octopus in the takoyaki, but it did taste quite good. Service: 5 The servers were fast and efficient. Our table was never overcrowded with finished plates, and our drinks were filled appropriately. The kitchen and sushi bar did a fantastic job of getting our food out quickly.

Yelp
My personal favorite sushi spot in Vegas. The food is outstanding, the service is fantastic and the ambience is authentic Japanese. Strongly recommend the all you can eat option. Enjoy.

Yelp
This is one of my all-time favorite AYCE sushi spots from my time as a local here. I hadn't been since the pandemic hit, so I was a little worried the place might've taken a hit (like most places these days smh) ... I ended up craving sushi while in town and met a friend of mine on Sunday July 24. We walked in and were greeted warmly...I typically sit at the sushi bar and so that's where we went. I love to watch them work! Of course the prices have gone up, but $33 for such an extensive menu is still worth it (in my opinion). The service was quick, sushi chefs, host, and server were nice; large slices of fish and still a ton of variety! Of course this place isn't "upscale" but if you're looking for a good AYCE spot this is a good choice!

Elaine E.

Yelp
Restaurant has a nice atmosphere but the sushi was not good. It tasted like cleaner. The other food may be good but if you want sushi, this isn't the place.

Yelp
The absolute best sushi in Vegas. Truly a hidden gem ! My personal recommendation the Avatar Roll, Pink Lady, and Casino royal All nigiri is super fresh

Yelp
I wanted to recognize the outstanding service my family received from Pedro. My family is a lot to deal with, not rude, we all were talking at once. A glass of tea was spilled by one of us at the table & Pedro was so quick to reassure everyone that it was no problem. He was so attentive & pleasant. I would return to that restaurant & definitely request Pedro as our server. He was the BEST!!

Yelp
I came here to eat finner after work. I was cravin for sushi. I ordered nigiri and some appetizer. The fish was fresh and the sushi rice was ssssoooo good. Thumbs up! I highly recommend this place and recommend Chef Tony and Chef Lully for providing quality sushi and excellent service from server Jessica.

Yelp
We just noticed this location and gave it a try. We were not disappointed. Great taste and quality. A couple of mishaps with the service but they made it right. This will be our new go to for all you can eat sushi.

Yelp
From out of town and stopped at Walmart and saw this little gem on the corner and decided to try it. We happened to get there right as Happy Hour started. 40-50% off certain rolls and such. Great prices and the rolls were amazing! The waiters were very friendly! We will definitely be stopping here again! What a find!
