The 1/12 miniature options are awful. Daisos in Japan and overseas seem to stock way more variety but Daisos in Aus only seem to carry the same 3 items.

Unpleasant, passive aggressive behaviour from store staff. We entered 15 min before closing time with plans to just grab something quickly and leave. The staff did not deny entry to new customers. Barely a few mins after entering, the staff turned OFF all the lights and started closing the front gate. There was no announcement or other indication from staff that they were closing the store. This is completely unacceptable behaviour. It was pitch black and everyone scrambled to exit the store. In the store was also a mother with a pram and her young child. The child almost tripped on the shelves, which is dangerous. I hope the Daiso management are aware that if an incident happened on the premises, they would be liable for this. If they plan to close early in the future, they should deny entry to new customers and have a PA or store-wide announcement that they are closing. I will not be visiting this store again until there are changes made to the way they operate.

This Daiso store is located inside The Galleries in Townhall. I prefer this store over other Daiso due to the spacious size. The staff are nice. There are a good range of food and everyday products, though sometimes the stock is not updated quick enough.

Made the trip as I thought it would be a big store with lots of variety. There are way better Dasio's, this one feels like a junk shop. It also STINKS. I had read the reviews about the smell but honestly I would never go back based on this. I got an instant headache, I don't know how to staff work here.

Daiso stores have some of the items that are not available elsewhere, so when in Sydney we’d stop and have a browse here. In April 2022 all items were $3.10 each except those with a different price tag. This one is located one level down, the entrance is off 501 George Street or Kent Street.

They have a great amount of stuff to browse through. Daiso in Australia isn't the cheapest in Asia Pacific. The indoor slippers look good to try and not too expensive.

This store is just like the ones in Japan. Great selection of items and well priced. My only thing, need more checkouts with staff. They only had one staff serving and the line was long.
