We visited to celebrate our friends' anniversary, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, even going the extra mile to customize portion sizes so we could share dishes more easily—a thoughtful touch that made the evening even more special. The starter was absolutely phenomenal, setting the tone for the rest of the meal. Every dish that followed was just as impressive, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. If I could give this place six stars, I would in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for any special occasion—or just because you deserve a great meal.

Best place in Stockholm to have typical Swedish food. The restaurant is very nice, the service polite and I got my food really fast. It’s a little bit pricey, but this is an elegant restaurant with a very good food, so it’s definitely worth it. Go in elegant clothes!

The restaurant is located in the most sophicated street in Sweden. The terrace is cozy and atmosphere has a relaxing vibe, you can have fun with your company and be certain that you are not a nuisance to others, because everyone felt welcoming. The waitresses were knowledgeable about the food they served, gave a detailed description of the food that they provided. Overall gave a 3 star rating because of the price being too damn high. Other than that everything else was perfect. 👍

An amazing meal, where the food, staff and atmosphere were all immaculate. Staff were very friendly and were very considerate of allergies within the group, whilst maintaining a distance and noticed when we were ready to order, finished our course, etc. Overall great experience and would recommend to anyone visiting or living in Stockholm.

Sometimes you stumble upon a place that doesn’t just serve food, but also serves up a whole experience. That’s exactly what happened to us at Dalanisse – a cozy, family-owned restaurant where hospitality feels as warm as the kitchen. Our evening was made unforgettable thanks to Natasa, our wonderful waitress, who turned good service into an art form. Friendly, attentive, and with just the right sense of humor, she made us feel right at home. We were a group of four adults. Three of us went for the timeless Swedish classic, the plankstek. Let’s be honest: some dishes fade with time, but this one? Not a chance. At Dalanisse, the plank is elevated to perfection, juicy steak, buttery duchess potatoes, and fresh, colorful garnishes that were as pleasing to the eye as to the taste buds. The fourth member of our group opted for the schnitzel, which turned out to be every bit as satisfying and beautifully presented. Portions were generous, and nobody left the table hungry (though we all left very happy). And then came dessert. Homemade pistachio ice cream with Sicilian pistachios – an absolute sensation. Creamy, nutty, and a sweet finale that deserves its own round of applause. To top it off, the cocktail menu reads like a greatest hits of classics: Whiskey Sour, Cosmopolitan, and more. The kind of list that makes you wish you had more evenings to spend here, just to work your way through it. In short: Dalanisse is a gem where tradition meets care, and where a night out becomes a memory. If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and go. Just make sure Natasa is on shift – she’ll make your evening shine.

Best food, best and friendliest service and staff. They are really and literally the most supportive, informative and nice poeple ever. Amazing place. We were there for dinner as four friends, and they made our night. The photos I share is the shared version of the dishes, so they have a half portion of a normal meal.

Solid 5/5, my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and planned last minute to visit a fancy-ish restaurant in Stockholm. We originally had a table inside assigned, but opted to sit outside, which is more than appropriately sectioned off and walled/doored so, despite the road next to the outside sitting area, felt comfortable and clean enough to enjoy our meal - which we did still very much. The food was great, the service was calm, quick and efficient. The servers also just as delightful and the drinks were also top notch. DalaNisse is one the top rated restaurants in Stockholm, with a reasonable price point and I can 100% understand why the ratings are so high. Definitely recommend, so far this restaurant has now hit my top 3 in Stockholm.

The foods were good but nothing was outstandingly delicious. Yet this is a good place for Swedish cuisine and the portions are very generous. The toast skagen was made of sourdough bread, which was really nice, but the shrimps were just Lagom. The chèvre cheese paired well with the honey, and the green tomatoes reduced the greasiness. The dry pork shoulder was so so to my taste because the pork odor was noticeable. I appreciate the flexibility of the potato sides when it comes to the main dishes, you can choose the potatoes to be made in various ways to your liking. The butter on top of the schnitzel was a bit too much since the pork was already deep fried, and extra butter enhanced the greasiness. The seafood stew tasted like what you can have at grandma’s, a familiar flavor that was just right, but nothing special. The frozen parfait as ice cream was pretty unique, the acidity of sea buckthorn and the bitterness of dark chocolate provided layers to the dish, and the texture was in balance of crispy and creamy.

Yelp
Just perfection. Mood is great food is out of this world. Executed perfectly. The chef came out to describe the meal. This was a night we will always remember. 10 stars out of five.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I were blown away with both the quality & portion size of the food. He had the pork schnitzel and I had the vegetarian gnocchi. Normally not a fan of mushrooms, but they complimented the meal so well. The bread with garlic aioli also should not be skipped out on. Lastly, it would not have been a great experience without our waiter, Genghis. He was so sweet and attentive and a great person to meet on our first night in Stockholm (visiting from the US). Absolutely will be back!! You cannot miss this place. Beautiful restaurant, good vibes, amazing atmosphere.

Yelp
The food was incredible and the service was amazing. The servers were super attentive, nice and warm. The ambiance is pretty chill but classy and looked like a great place to go for anything from a nice dinner for friends to a date or business meeting.

Yelp
This place was a pleasant surprise and perfect dinner after a day out and about in the city. We got to try some Swedish food and the kids felt at home with the attentive service after a week of nonstop traveling. They are full, thankful, and happy at the end of the meal. We recommend the lamb and the schinitzel.

Yelp
My mom and I traveled to our home city of Stockholm this May, and on our first night there we stumbled upon this gem. It's a little hidden off the main street that's full of bars and restaurants, and once you slip in through the door you can relax in the great atmosphere they have got going on here. Dimmed lights and as is typical of Swedish restaurants, quiet conversations. Outside seating too! We were seated right away as it was a Thursday, and ordered in a glass each of I believe the Malbec. I then got the majskyckling and my mom trout I think? Both were very good. I loved my chicken and the sauce was amazing. We came back the following week and made reservations this time since it was a Saturday. We unfortunately had a late lunch on our way up to Stockholm from a visit to Öland, so weren't super hungry but still went all out. We started with fatöl for both of us and I got the grilled halloumi for my appetizer which was a meal in itself, while my mom got the toast skagen. We then ordered in the plank stek which was filet mignion and it was served with vegetables, roasted mashed potatoes, and bearnaise. So amazing! We had a glass of red wine with our meals as well. Needless to say we walked out stuffed. Now onto the service. It was incredible! There was one waiter (can't remember his name, boo) that we had both nights and he was so sweet and attentive. The rest of the staff was great as well. Highly recommended for those in Stockholm - I will for sure be back.
