Long‑running Vietnamese favorite for deeply flavored pho, bun, and seafood soups at friendly prices. Highlighted in Boston Magazine and loved by locals for big bowls and quick service.

Had a wonderful experience here with my friend. Delicious food, wonderful service, and I was especially happy to see dishes with squid. One of my favorites! I also loved my Thai iced tea. Would definitely be happy to return.

Pho Dac Biet Xe Lua - Great portion and the soup is good, though not great. It leans on the sweeter side which I prefer a more savory broth. Restaurant - Only condiments readily available is sriracha and chili garlic paste. With pho, toppings include mint, bean sprouts, and a half wedge of lime per bowl of soup. Their prices are probably the best I’ve seen nowadays for pho though. It’s definitely worth the price considering portion-to-price ratio. Staff are kind and welcoming.

A hidden gem in Worcester. I have been coming here for the past 2 years religiously—never had one disappointing meal. A personal favorite is the #18 yellow chicken curry with pork/shrimp fresh rolls on the side, and recently was blown away by the #55 braised pork in fish sauce in a hot pot. Family owned & operated by wonderful people. This is the go-to place for Pho in Worcester.

Google

Google
Soooo good! Been here twice already & absolutely love it. The owner is always there with his kids & it just feels like you’re eating dinner in their dining room in their home. The atmosphere, kindness of the staff & delicious food makes for a perfect meal, whether alone or with others. Will definitely be going again (& again & again).

Google
Food and service was good. Interesting how different the same dish is restaurant to restaurant.

This place is a hidden gem. I had the #18 Ban Ga Cai (chicken and curry peanut butter with noodles). It was amazing! It is on my short list of best things I’ve ever eaten. Also had the shrimp and pork wrap appetizer, also amazing.

Google
Wanted to try out a new spot for Vietnamese food and was SO happy with our choice!! We got the shrimp fresh wrap, so fresh and delicious with their incredible homemade peanut sauce, the beef ball pho and the mixed meat pho (#20 and #23). Everything was delicious! The portions were generous and the prices were cheaper than the other spots we’ve tried before. Absolutely recommend this spot, especially because of their efficiency and safety precautions! I swear the owner sanitized his hands three times in our one minute interaction. On a different day we got the Vietnamese combination vermicelli, the jellyfish and shrimp salad, and the young coconut juice with pulp. Everything was fresh and delicious, this is now our go to place for Vietnamese food. Definitely will be ordering from this spot again!

Yelp
Food is amazing!their egg rolls is outstanding for Americans.Beef Stew is great, full of flavor and rich.Pho is above average. A must try restaurant in the area! Service is okay.Staffs don't speak English well.Friendly enough.

Yelp
I have been going to Da Lat for many years. The food is always excellent and the staff is kind and friendly. As a vegetarian my favorites are the fresh summer rolls (fried tofu rolls are how they are listed in menu) with peanut sauce, (I recommend ordering extra) and noodles with tofu and veggies. My hubby loves the Pho! We have never had a bad meal. The restaurant is a bit of a dive but don't let that deter you. Da Lat is a hidden gem.
google avatar

Yelp
Small restaurant with 6-7 small tables. Came here once before and food is good enough, but not amazing. However, I love their soda chanh. Better than any other I've had before.
google avatar

Yelp
Been here in the past, and decided to stop by for lunch again. The pho here is overly sweet and has an artificial beef seasoning taste. The broth might contain MSG? Overall, definitely not a fan of the Pho, as there are an abundant of other pho places nearby that build greater flavors. Service 4/5 but the food, unfortunately a 2/5

Yelp
My friends and I were hoping to grab a quick dinner before heading back to Boston. This place definitely delivered on the speed front, even though they were close to closing time. The staff was very friendly and served our food with a smile. While it's sit down, it's not an especially fancy spot, so be prepared for more of a casual dining experience. In terms of the food, there's something for everyone, carnivores and vegetarians alike! The menu is quite extensive, with various noodle and rice dishes. I ordered an egg noodle dish, which tasted a bit like Lo Mein, but had a sweeter sauce. It seemed like some other options might have been a bit more interesting, but I was happy with the overall flavors and portion size. My friends enjoyed their dishes as well. Good spot!

Yelp
Oh my goodness what can I say? It's a little hole in the wall but it's always busy and everybody is so pleasant. I always get the C1 special. My son has had multiple things and likes everything
google avatar

Yelp
Another new spot on my Vietnamese food tour! You walk into a very quiet restaurant. The ambiance was pretty non existent- there is definitely a need for music. The server was nice but he had no suggestions for a first timer. That's a bummer cause I like when the servers recommend something- it makes the experience a bit more unique. I ordered a read but they didn't have a sugar substitute. That was a bummer. The Pho was great- very tasteful broth with lots of meat included. Overall a good lunch.

Yelp
Favorite Vietnamese restaurant. They have great Pho. The egg rolls are delicious. I love the pork over vermicelli. Great place. Very basic smrestaurant environment, comfortable, nothing fancy. Great staff. Da Lat's quality is just as good as it was for my first visit in 2002.
google avatar

Yelp
Incredibly nice people, friendly and hospitable; service was excellent with the orders arriving quickly from the kitchen. The Vietnamese egg rolls were good, slightly different from others we've had. The vegetable tofu stir fry with a side of rice hit all my flavor and spice notes. This is a good spot if you are in the area for some authentic Southern Vietnamese cuisine, you can't go wrong at Dalat, depending on what you like and are use to.
google avatar

Sovana P.

Yelp
The pork chop was tough. Everything was sweet and the portion size was small for the price. Service was fast. Nice and small clean place. But I would not go back. First and last.
google avatar

Yelp
#37 and Taro boba are the best! The owners are so nice. If you're waiting for your boba, check out the fish tank near the register. You will not be disappointed.

Madman M.

Yelp
Saw the ratings & was meeting a friend in Worcester for lunch, so figured I'd give it a try. Average sized restaurant, nothing too fancy. Not in the greatest part of Worcester but not the worst either. My friend had a Hot & Sour soup which, while not sour, was slightly sweet, unique & very good. The chicken & vegetable dish (w/a Hoicin sauce) was flavorful. I had a Beef Pho, which was excellent. Prices are quite reasonable. Service was prompt. If in the area, again would go back.
google avatar

Mackenzie V.

Yelp
My sister and her partner have been going here for at least three years, and the prices have stayed consistent. Service is very fast! I got #17 the beef rice noodle soup, i would give it a 7 or 8 out of 10: very yummy beef and a slightly sweet broth. The portion was very big so i had leftovers. Ambiance is quaint, a nice small place to talk with friends or family
google avatar

Nikki N.

Yelp
Definitely an old favorite of mine growing up in Worcester. They serve healthy portions so I don't feel guilty after I'm done devouring. My favorite dish is the Mi Kho which comes with a side of flavorful broth.

Nomster M.

Yelp
The offerings are varied, with fresh ingredients, low prices. Family-owned and run. Very simple decor, with fish tank to admire while waiting for your order. You can order the fresh spring rolls (which usually include pork and shrimp) without the pork and just shrimp ; wonderful peanut sauce.my favorites are the shrimp dishes: the bun, vermicelli, and shrimp and mixed vegetables. My family loves their pho. A favorite restaurant among college (Clark & WPI, especially) students and teachers and their families.
google avatar

Bil M.

Yelp
I adore this place. The food is fantastic, the place is clean. I just wish they'd offer doordash or grubhub else I'd order their food more frequently. The #18, #62 and #100 is just about my most favorite meal.
google avatar

Jonathan W.

Yelp
One of my favorite places in the Woo. Must stop if you want great food. As a Clarkie I've always loved this place. But even now as an alumni, I stop in when passing by Worcester. Get the pork boiled in fish sauce. Thank me later!

Lindsey G.

Yelp
The food was amazing! And the prices were so cheap! Our waitress was super nice and friendly. The taro smoothie was so goodthen I got a beef noodle dish that was also 10/10
google avatar

Yelp
This place doesn't look like much inside or out but we came here on a week night and there was a steady flow of customers coming in and out including take outs. We ordered the pork rice combo and large rare beef pho. The rice combo was delicious. It has a little bit of everything I can try such as spring roll and steamed pork egg-which is quite rare to see in Vietnamese restaurants since they usually serve just fried egg. The pho was delicious, not too sweet or salty. The price was a bit cheaper than most Vietnamese restaurants with most dishes just under $10.
google avatar

Amy C.

Yelp
Authentic Vietnamese dishes that are affordable. I have tried their bun rieu, hu tieu, egg rolls, avocado shake! Bun rieu and hu tieu are great here! Avocado shake are made fresh! Have to say this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Worcester area. Wish they would offer other authentic dishes like 7 course beef though!
google avatar

Yelp
One of my least favorite Vietnamese restaurant, if not the worst I've been to but I don't have the heart to give them any lower than 3 stars. First of all, this is a laid back restaurant. Think of Americanized Chinese restaurant with cheap tables and seats. Nothing wrong with that, especially for a starter restaurant. The important portion... the food. Ban Cuon was good, minus the hair I found in my food. Com suon bi cha (rice plate with pork & Vietnamese meatloaf) was eatable. Pork was nothing to take home. A little undercook and lack in taste. Prices are decent but small decent portions so don't expect to be sharing with anyone or bringing home any leftovers. Fish sauce is mediocre. Service was okay. They did their job. Got my order and got my food. Street parking only and they take major credit cards. Street parking but looks like you may be able to park behind the building.

Patrick L.

Yelp
Great food, friendly staff...decent prices... better than other Vietnamese restaurants nearby...
google avatar

Michelle N.

Yelp
My current go-to Vietnamese restaurant! They have a big menu so the options are ample. The portions are on the smaller side compared to other Viet spots but it's just enough to fill me up even though I wouldn't mind a little more. I also like their strawberry limeade.

John M.

Yelp
A hidden gym within Worcester. The food was fantastic! Do yourself a huge favor and order the Mi Kho. Just a flavorful masterpiece.
google avatar

Laurie D.

Yelp
This is a great authentic Vietnamese restaurant! I got the egg rolls to start. They were crispy and delicious. I also tried the bon bo hue and pho ga. Both were equally good and flavorful. The portions are smaller than what I usually get at other Vietnamese restaurants though and I would have preferred a greater soup to noodle ratio, but it's not a huge downfall. I also got the passion fruit limeade to-go for my cousin and she loved it! We've never seen passion fruit limeade as a drink option at a restaurant before so we were both pleasantly surprised.
google avatar

Yelp
Everything I had at Dalat was done well! I started with Cha Gio (egg rolls), which were fresh, perfectly crispy and had a flavorful, savory filling. The nuoc mam dipping sauce complimented it perfectly. While the pho broth was a little too sweet for my liking, I still thoroughly enjoyed it because of the meaty, aromatic flavor punch that was still there. I asked for chili oil, but could hardly bring myself to put it in my bowl until the very end because the flavor just never got old. If the sweetness was reduced I think this would be the perfect broth. I was also impressed with the generous meat portion (I had to check that I wasn't given the xe lua size). There was ample rare beef, and a surprisingly generous portion of tendon, as that's usually a smaller portion, but one of my favorite pieces. My dining companions also enjoyed their dishes of curry chicken soup and pork chop with rice. Will be back for sure, next time I'm in town!

Yelp
Incredible food. All of the dishes have an immense amount of flavor, and feel fresh. I love ordering the meals with pig feet, they don't skimp on the meat attached to it, and it's incredibly tender. Would go to this place everyday if I could, but I live too far away. I visit each time I'm in Worcester. The spring rolls are delicious and the I love every item in their specials.
google avatar

Jessica J.

Yelp
The daily special #1D was amazing dry noodles with the soup on the side, if you like egg noodles with seafood I suggest you try it out! Really enjoyed this place for my first time coming here. My bf got the #41 he thought it was, "amazing as always" and the iced coffee is his "favorite thing on the planet and I don't even drink coffee". He's been going here since high school and nothings changed since then.
google avatar

Matthew O.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious. Sweet and sour soup. Shrimp rolls. Sweet and sour beef with cucumbers and tomatoes. Wife took me and week later I took her. My new favorite!!
google avatar

Lilly P.

Yelp
TOO MUCH MSG!!! Everything tasted so good until...I was having a headache from MSG. I know it's MSG because right after the headache was this tingling around my neck. If this is your favorite one to go to, make sure you don't drink the soup too much. Bad for me that I ordered congee so there's no way to separate the soup. My nephew ordered watermelon smoothie and it could not taste any faker than that. It doesn't taste like watermelon at all but artificial flavor. His mom ended stopping him from drinking it and on the way home she still had that powdery taste on her tongue. Next morning his whole face and body was red because of allergic reaction.
google avatar

Nike W.

Yelp
The food is not Viet authentic. The Bo Luc Lac is not authentic. It's more like sweet and sour beef chinesse style instead of savory cube grilled tenderloin beef.
google avatar

Amelia L.

Yelp
I went here on a Saturday afternoon with my siblings and a cousin. It was probably around 3 pm, the place was pretty empty, maybe a table or two. Service was quick. The prices were actually a lot cheaper than I thought, I would say cheaper than the other Vietnamese restaurants around the area. Typically I don't go out to eat at Vietnamese restaurants only because I'm use to eating it at home and don't see the point in going out to spend money when I can eat it at home. I ended up getting the bun rieu and was disappointed as the broth tasted bland to me, the noodles were a little on the hard side as if it wasn't fully cooked. Maybe I'm just being biased and comparing it to home cooked bun rieu that I'm use to having which I personally am use to. Summary: Food is cheap Service was quick Maybe in the future i'll try something else and hope that i'm not disappointed

Yelp
Probably the most true to Vietnamese southern cuisines! Food: 4/5 I ordered Pho Tai Bo Vien (beef slices and meatballs). The pho noodles are not over cooked and done just right. The broth is a bit oily, but overall very good. The meat slices are fresh and the meatballs are tasty. My boyfriend ordered Bun Kho, a special entree of theirs and probably a Southern Viet dish. It was very good and had a lot of flavor. Overall, I was impressed with their menu and how they were able to still keep the true Vietnamese taste (and not Americanized)! Service: 5/5 Very friendly and quick service! Ambiance: 4/5 Very clean and presentable. Spacious and a lot of lighting. Comfortable to eat! I'd definitely recommend this place to try for Viet good around the Worcester area!

Yelp
Before going to the restaurant I was not sure what reviewers meant about the design of the restaurant and how it needed some work. But I knew what they meant as soon as I got there. It seems very shady. Reminds me of my old restaurant though. My family used to own a restaurant in Fiji and this restaurant is a family operated one. They were definitely chilling there. My husband and I ordered two milk tea with boba. I would give that a 4/5. We ordered beef teriyaki for an appetiser which I found interesting. The beef I felt was a little dry so 3.5/5. Husband had pork and mixed vegetables with pan fried noodles. The noodles are egg noodles. Similar to lomein but it's different in a way. He gave it a 3/5 because he liked the noodles but hated the pork. He felt that the pork was not fresh. I had seafood noodle soup. Would give that a 4/5 because I love seafood and I also love clear noodles and the broth was good too. Overall I think if they did a little redecorating as well as pay more attention to customers or maybe get an extra cook. They would do great. So much room for potential! Would I go back? Maybe. I mean I would like to try other Vietnamese restaurants in Worcester first to have some comparisons.

Yelp
Spent a week or so traveling around Maine, New Hampshire, Mass, and after stuffing my face with all sorts of unhealthy stuff, wanted something comforting and lighter. Decided to get Vietnamese food here, on way back to NYC. And this restaurant is the real deal. Got one of my favorites, Banh Cuon - a dish which isn't easy to find - and they made an excellent version. My wife liked her dish a lot too - fried pork chop over rice. Friendly service and pleasant atmosphere as well. I'd eat here weekly if I lived nearby. Highly recommended.
google avatar

Nicole C.

Yelp
This is one of my husband and mine's favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Worcester! They did not have curry chicken soup tonight, unfortunately, which is delicious! I am hoping that they could update their takeout containers to something more Earth-friendly than styrofoam.
google avatar

Kevin L.

Yelp
Good appetizers and food. Really fresh. Pho was fresh and delicious and the service was nice.
google avatar

Reg C.

Yelp
Stopped in here for lunch with a coworker. The menu was pretty extensive and the food smelled fantastic. The service was incredibly fast and the server was helpful in offering her suggestion when I couldn't decide between dishes. I ultimately ordered the pho sate. The portion size was a healthy but not an overwhelming amount. The broth was flavorful and the tomato and cucumber added a nice cool contrast to a spicy dish.
google avatar

AJ C.

Yelp
My wife an I ordered summer rolls, and two entrees. The server made sure we wanted the pig foot in there before just assuming that it was to go in. I thought that was really nice, as we didn't realize it was going to be in there. I can see some people taken aback not expecting a foot in their soup! Food was some of the best Viet food I've ever had.
google avatar

Woodsy N.

Yelp
After ordering and while waiting for my lunch to be served, I noticed a maskless employee going in and out of the kitchen as she showed something on her phone to other employees. There was also another maskless employee interacting with employees. Left the restaurant after pointing this out to waitstaff. Won't be going there anymore.
google avatar

Brendan O.

Yelp
I've been coming to Dalat for about 15 years and it's still just as good as it ever was. Iced coffee highly recommended. Delicious food at reasonable prices. There's limited parking next to and behind the building.
google avatar

Hai V.

Yelp
One of the cleanest and delicious authentic Vietnamese food place I've been to. Service was quick, owners were beyond nice. Definitely will be back
google avatar

Devin W.

Yelp
First and last time. This food is so far from authentic Vietnamese food. This Bun Rieu doesn't look taste anything like the way it should, and the owner knows it too, but he doesn't care cuz he can fool the non-asian. It literally tasted like instant bun rieu from the package. I was really hungry, but couldn't eat it. This is an insult to Vietnamese cuisine. If was stuck on island without food, I rather cut my arm off and eat it then to eat this food.
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
Food quality and service is too inconsistent at this establishment to become a regular. Too often special requests and portion sizes are disregarded. Nowhere else that serves pho in this city will serve you as little a portion of broth as here at such a lukewarm temperature.

Brandon D.

Yelp
We ordered the pho, vietnamese salad, and Thai iced tea. Everything was delicious and authentic tasting.
google avatar

Harp K.

Yelp
Favorite place in Worcester for pho. Prices are affordable, meat is tender and there is a good variety of dishes. Some of my favorites are number 18,19, and 44. The curry noodle soup, pho sate, and barbecued chicken rice plate. The da chanh limeade is really refreshing as well!
google avatar

Valerie D.

Yelp
Yum. Needed pho and everything else I know is shut down. We did take out chicken and beef pho and summer rolls. So good. Easy in and out for take out. Great pho. You need pho come get some!
google avatar

Javier M.

Yelp
Got take out from here and it was great. The place is a super authentic hole in the wall that might turn off some because of the appearance but trust, the food is amazing.
