Dale's Donuts

Went into this donut shop and wow ! Not a fancy place but clean and awesome donuts! I had a raspberry filled eclair and a flower looking cinnamon roll and it was very amazing! And never had a greasy taste in mouth after eating the donuts… I don’t know if the donuts are baked or fried but they are very delicious! If you’re looking for a great little place for a donut this is it!

Been going there several years of loyalty. People have gotten very rude, never greet or say thank you. Now even worse ordered a dozen jelly donuts and not only were they so small , almost no jelly inside and cost $24 and change. Are you kidding me about half the diameter size of most other places. Many other choices in the area. I wouldn't complain if appropriate size and fill but not this for over $24.

Easily the BEST donut shop in DFW. Don’t even read the rest of this review, just head over there now. Seriously. The freshest donuts you’ll find anywhere and their piggies are out of this world. The dough is the key here and something they do takes it to another level. Just look at the shape and consistency of the product they are putting out - phenomenal! I’m making myself hungry just typing/thinking about these little jewels. Stop in and pick up a dozen, or 5. Taste perfection for yourself and just try to share some with your family, friends, or coworkers. You’ll be a better person than me. Keep up the great work Dale’s Donuts!

$5.22 for a sausage and 1 glazed.... Too expensive for junk food

2025 Review- Customer service can occasionally be hit or miss. Yet, their sausage rolls consistently outshine those from most donut shops. Unlike, many establishments post-pandemic, this location still offers a few dine-in seats for customers. 2022 Review- Dounts and sausage rolls are still good but their menu needs work. I get there maybe changes in prices often, but please let customers know a set price until changes are made. Previous Review-Great customer service & one of the best donut shops around. Prices are great and they definitely take the precautions to keep everybody safe during this covid-19 pandemic. I would give 5 stars but the s'more/campfire donut can't remember exactly what it was called had flamed marshmallows that made the whole donut taste burnt & I saw a piece of hair. I wouldn't recommend that particular donut and the piece of hair is not a deal-breaker for me because I have worked in a bakery shop before and things do happen & this was the only time. If your in the area definitely give them a try.

I cannot tell you how much I love this place. It is the only donut shop around that takes the time to make cute (and often holiday themed) donuts that are exquisitely decorated. My kids peer through the glass in wonder and delight every time we go 👍🏻👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This morning I received the world's most beautiful and adorable box of donuts from Dale's Donuts. The store was spotless and smelled warm and inviting. The atmosphere was pleasant, everyone is cheered whether they like or not by the scent of warm bread and sweet sugars, and the sight of the adorable rows of themed donuts. The best part? EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS! The donuts, the eclairs (not too sweet or gunky) and the sausage rolls (flavorful and satisfying!) Service was fast, efficient and extremely polite. Worth the trip every time!

Although the pricing is a little high, this donut shop is one of the best in the area. Fresh great tasting food! I normally just get a cinnamon roll but today tried more. Unmatched quality.

Oh Dale! I've passed bynyhis donut shop a million times and have always wanted to try them. Well I finally did. They may be difficult to find initially due to being in the shopping strip on hulen. The have a sign up as well so look for their sign when you're looking for this donut shop. So when I walked in I noticed it was nice and clean. Even the floors were swept and the counters, tables and chairs and all were nice and tidy which I liked. I don't recall anyone actually greeting me due they handling other customers and their orders at the time but when it was my time to order they were very polite. The young lady asked me what unwanted and I tried the buttermilk donut, a half dozen donut holes, and a cinnamon twist. The mixture that they use for their yeast is delicious. It literally melted in my hand and mouth as I ate it. The cinnamon twist initially tasted like it didn't have much cinnamon on it, but as I ate it a slight cinnamon taste became strong and more distinct. I like how it wasn't overpowering and it kind of snuck up on me. As for the donut holes, they melted in my mouth. Honestly they weren't even that hot. They were room temperature and they melted in my mouth. They weren't too sweet and had just enough of sugar and dough. The buttermilk donut was a first for me. It was delicious! It could taste the undertones if the buttermilk, mixed with the same yeast mixture as well as the sweetness of the donut. The more I ate this donut the sweeter it got. Now a days I don't like my donut too sweet but the buttermilk donut got the job done. The sugar from the donut did flake off the donut a little bit but that was just fine because there was quite a bit of sugar the center of the donut. Dale's get 5 stars alone just for their pillowy soft silky melt in your mouth donuts. A must try!

I tried their danish today and it was delicious! Service here is welcoming and fast! You must purchase $5 to use your card otherwise you much pay cash.

My normal fare when testing a new donut shop is usually with the Kolaches and the Apple Fritters, my main stays for donut shop fare. The Kolaches aren't really anything to write home about, it's the same here as it is almost every where else. Small hot dog shaped meat in some puffy dough, with little flavor. Usually requires the mustard to add any taste to it. The apple fritter was a bit more on par. Getting one that's soft in the middle and crispy on the edges is the trick. They did an ok job with that. Maybe a bit more cinnamon than I'd prefer, could use more apple as well, tho few places actually use real apples anymore. It's more a cinnamon fritter it seems. Staff was kind, friendly, and had us in and out quickly.

I freaking love these donuts. My family and I were from out of town when we stumbled on this on Yelp. It was near us at the time so we decided to try it. OMG! so delicious. Their customer service was great. Donuts and coffee were reasonable priced. We couldn't be happier.

This place has the best donuts! We don't go often but when we do it's always good and fresh! They do a lot of fun donuts for the kids which is cool. Today we got some twisted glaze, a powdered donut with raspberry filling, a red velvet, and the spider man one for my kiddo. So yummy!

I bought 2 dozen donuts here for my work and this place is awesome! I got 2 dozen donuts the first dozen was just chocolate/plain glazed and the second was all fancy donuts. I also got a piggy donut and a dozen donut holes. Everyone at work including myself thought these were super good! Unfortunately I live about 25 minutes from here but my work is down the street but I will definitely be making the drive on the weekends just to get these donuts when I'm off! Best donuts I've had in a while. I paid $19 for everything too so the pricing is very reasonable.

Dale's Donuts is the best donut shop I have found here in Fort Worth. They are kind and welcoming. Their buttermilk cake donuts are phenomenal! It is worth the drive on my way to class!

Absolutely the best donuts I have ever had. I've tried so many places, even the big named places.. non of them compare to this place.. these donuts are so fresh and perfectly made..I'm in love with the tiny cinnamon rolls. I can't wait to go back.

Absolutely delicious donuts! The decorated donuts don't just look amazing but they taste fantastic! The customer service is amazing too! Super friendly people. I was worried about finding a donut shop we liked in Fort Worth that didn't have greasy donut but I've yet to have a bad donut there. Highly recommend this place!

My husband ventured away from our usual donut spot to try this place and it was terrible. The sausage rolls were dried out and tasted like they had been microwaved 5 times, the apple fritter was literally a brick and not edible, and the old fashioned was super dry too. The only thing that was just average for a donut store was the glazed donuts but it's pretty hard to mess those up. Wonder Donuts is much better and not far from here.

The store is clean and tidy and the staff is friendly and prompt. From their donuts to their breakfast burritos, everything is delightful. The donuts melt in your mouth and the jalapeño pigs in a blanket are savory and spicy. I also love how they have specialty donuts in the shapes of rainbows, pandas, Captain America and the like. It is a difficulty to spot the store since it's hidden away in a shopping strip but it's worth finding this gem.

Love their Jalapeno and cheese sausage. I have been here twice but both times, the place was clean, the people are nice and everything is fresh and delicious.

I always look forward to Dale's Donuts when I come to town. They are the best! They have a wonderful variety of items & always fresh. Just have to say I love their maple long johns, jalopeno croissants & they have great coffee.

This has become our favorite local donut spot. The donuts are fresh and delicious. We typically go for a dozen mixed, and we always include the red velvet, blueberry, and raspberry filled. We tried the the kolaches and they were not our favorite. However, the donuts are 10/10!

We love it. My daughter must go there every weekend. Ha. You won't find fresher donuts and it's spotless inside. Yummy.

Our first visit and we will be back! We enjoyed the sausage burrito, and an apple fritter, and took home a couple assorted donuts and holes. Good eats!! Only four stars because they were sold out of several varieties at 10am. (which is not a bad thing, just means they have many favorites!)

Catered my daughters wedding with the special donuts! Also, they have alphabet donuts and letter donuts for special occasions like birthdays and Valentine's Day. Prices are comparable to nearby donut shops and I have found that it is always a better price.

It's ok. Not my favorite place. Usually fresh, but i wish the sausage kolaches were different. Its just a ok donut place, but the service is good. Very friendly. I usually eat manna donuts and i plan to stick with them.

Definitely better than Krispy Kreme, Shipleys and Dunkin Donuts (yes I said it). They were very nice and quick with service. The donuts were super fresh, soft and taste soooo good! Definitely will be my new donut shop. We had a glaze, cinnamon sugars, blueberry cupcake, two large sausage and cheese kolaches, and a Cinnabun thingy and it all was only $7

Decent donuts. Started with a jalapeño sausage roll, which was nice and spicy. I then had my three favorite donuts: glazed, sour-cream, and blueberry. Honestly, none of them floated my boat. I base my judgement of a donut on the plain glazed, and Dales missed the mark; slightly chewy, odd aftertaste, and stale at 5am. Tried to be friendly with the staff, but didn't get a response and felt awkward. I hate being critical, but I wasn't impressed even a little.

These donuts are super cheap and fresh. I got a little cinnamon roll for like $0.50, I was like "How much?!". Really cute little place, they were even playing classical music, nice touch. I definitely can't go here more than once every few months though!

I have been coming here for as long as I can remember, and it has always been a great sweet treat. They will make larger orders for business meetings, but still make donuts fun for kids. It is a great stop for a quick, sugar-high, breakfast. I do recommend this for anyone who is around in the area craving something sweet in the morning. It has a very great atmosphere where you can even see a wall of people that have visited the shop. Great place and a sure stop if your are visiting.

This is a cool little donut shop. The atmosphere is original and the service is great. The lack of danish variety is only reason I give it a four and not a five. Everything is delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely try it.

Donuts are good , the only thing is they overcharge in taxes, and don't really put your amounts of items on the receipt just your one total, sometimes I get the same thing and the price maybe different one day. Pay close attention to how they secretly over charge . Imagine how much they are gettting over off of everyone.... JUST PAY ATTENTION ..

Stopped by here on a Saturday morning and the atmosphere is friendly and open. Donuts were good, not spectacular. But still worth a visit. Love the small size donuts!

I usually don't write reviews, but I have found a hidden treasure! There is such a large selection of hand made sausage rolls/kolaches here. All the other places I have gone have only had one type of sausage roll but I love how Dales has so many different types. The jumbo jalapeño croissant sausage roll was amazing. I had to grab a few dozen for the family as well. (I also grabbed a bag of chocolate donut holes... They were addicting!!)

I've been coming here for a while and I'm greeted with a "good morning" every time. It's a small, family-owned business but you can tell they work hard and put a lot of thought into what they do. The workers are very friendly, and they always try to make conversation with me. The donuts are delicious for a good price, and recently they've even started to make special donuts with fun designs and toppings. Hands down the best donut shop in the area. I love this place!

First time here and I definitely had a good experience. It seemed like a family owned business and the workers were very friendly. I ordered jalapeno sausage rolls and some chocolate donut holes and they were both delicious. I am based in Houston, but come to fort worth often to visit my girlfriend and I can confidently say that I will come here again!

I attempt to spend every Sunday morning with my elderly parents and the routine is I bring donuts for our breakfast. I usually stop by 'Wonder Donuts', as they have a good product for a reasonable price. I had read that Dale's had received some sort of recognition as having the best donuts in Fort Worth so I gave them a try. I stopped by at approximately 8 am on Sunday morning. The store was empty with the exception of a person sitting at a table eating. No greeting from any staff member. once at the counter, the girl working just looked at me, not asking what I wanted, I pointed and said what and how many of each item I wanted followed by a thanks. I was a little surprised by the price, but said nothing. Basically the same thing I buy every week but about 2 dollars more here. After paying, I asked about a small bag of donuts holes, usually a token of thanks from almost every donut shop I have visited, as this is my mothers favorite. I was shocked when she handed me the bag and said $1.50, I paid as this is what my mother looks forward to, but was totally disappointed as there were only 4 donut holes in the bag for my $1.50. Dale's has seen the last of me, not that they care I am sure. Mediocre donuts and low quality service, to many other choices in town to waste my money here again.

Shortly after making a small purchase this morning, I started getting fraud charges on my credit card! Hmmmm beware!!! Don't use your card.
