Dale's Fried Pies

Dale made four flavors of dessert pies for my high school reunion. Everybody loved them! From placing the initial order to making payment and ensuring everything was set for our event, Dale had amazing communication and professionalism.

Ordered from Gold belly and was underwhelmed. They were thin, without flavor and I threw away 3 packs of Apple and Peach I hadn't eaten. Just not good at all!

Dale's pies are terrific! Dale has catered events with us and is a super hit with the guests!

There was a piece of glass inside one of the pies. Wrote to the company and they never replied.

Every kind I've tried has been to die for!

They arrived damaged (leaked), but more importantly, they had glass inside. As I was chewing, I bit it a couple of times and noticed it was not something edible. I threw up and found small glass pieces. This is very dangerous. I don't know if some pieces ended up in my stomach, and will have to watch out for symptoms. It seems this place does not prepare nor pack their products correctly.

purchase the 12 pack chocolate and apple, the filling leaked out of a bot 4 and following the directions to a 't' the chocolate leaked out and burned Never will I purchase these pies again about 80 bucks I threw away they were not worth the money contacted customer service no response so they don't care DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY small and a bad product

Dale's Fried Pies are absolutely delicious. We had them at our New Year's Eve celebration in 2012/2013, and they were a huge success. She does sweet and savory pies, so you can get your fill whether you're an apple pie person or you prefer mushroom and rosemary (like I do!). Dale herself is an absolute joy, and the business is charming and adorable! I would recommend these as catering for any event that wants delicious food with a touch of whimsy.

I don't see what all the fuss is over these pies. I ordered a dozen through Goldbellys for $89. They were small, not much flavor and the dough like cardboard. Maybe this is good for Tennessee, but I've had much, much better at the Fried Pie Shop in places all over Texas and Arkansas.

Never heard of Dale's Fried Pies until some employees mentioned we should use them for our awards luncheon. With only 2 days notice Dale's pulled off 160 assorted Fried Pies and we ate everyone of them! They were amazing and the staff at Dale's was awesome to work with. Great job and while it is difficult for me to pick my favorite I am going with the Beef Taco Pie. Thanks for the awesome service and great Fried Pies!! Keith Phillips Threds Inc.

This was my first time having fried pie and for a saturday morning walking around the farmers market, I can't think of anything better than this! I am a pie lover by nature, but the adorable set up of Dale's little pull behind trailer can't be beat. I grabbed a 3$ fried apple pie and my friend got her chicken and waffles and WOW. Fresh, well made and adorably presented in a simple wax paper sleeve, it was a perfect start to a Saturday morning. I also loved the fact that when I asked the girl at the window whether she recommended the apple pie or the chicken pot pie, she was honest and said she thought the crust turned out better on the apple. I'm only sad we don't have Dale's in my hometown!

Dale's Fried Pies are the bomb. They're the perfect amount of tastiness for a late night snack. I really like how the menu offers such a wide variety to choose from - both sweet and savory - and that she uses local ingredients. Plus I think it's so great to see a start up like this giving back to the community. If you haven't already, you should check out her Awesome Girl Squad program. Dale's fried pies are nothing short of amazing. Every flavor, both sweet and savory, has been outstanding. If you are lucky enough to be in Knoxville, I cannot recommend these enough - they are a "must try." One tip though: since the pies are fried/baked, they seem to be at their very best when they are fresh (although note that they are good all the time), and there is nothing that compares to the magic of biting into one of these early on a Saturday morning. Also, Dale herself is extremely nice and personable. The pie cart (and now truck, I believe) is extremely cute, and I'm looking forward to visiting Knoxville again just for fried pies. For those who want to give it a try, Dale is usually at the Wed. and Sat. downtown markets, and she also does custom catering for special events. Highly recommended :)

holy god. these are the best pies in the universe. We love them so much we used them at our wedding instead of wedding cake. It was a serious hit!!

Excellent pies - they make a great breakfast !!! Dale is charming and personable, plus a really good baker. Can't ask for more than that....

Amazing!!!!! If you haven't had the Chicken and Waffle, you must!!! It's got Fried Chicken and a Rosemary Maple Syrup!!!! Holy Moly!!!!!!!!!!
