Fantastic sports bar. Customers seemed mostly local, so it was a relief from all of the tourists (like us) in the city. The staff are exceptionally friendly. It is a great place to catch up or watch a game.

This place was fantastic. I ate here before a show and they were fast, respectful, and the food was amazing. Their pretzel bites with the sauce was the bomb, best pretzel dish I've ever had. The overall feel of the place was great with good music. Amazing experience 5/5, 10/10, whatever you want to say. Good people, great atmosphere, amazing food. Thank you for the great experience!

Visited this bar & grill on a short NYC break. Great, friendly atmosphere. Food was typical bar & grill stuff and was really nice. Good value for money too. Staff were friendly and although the seevice was a little bit slow, it didn't adversely affect the overall experience. Would definitely revisit if ever in NYC again.

We were looking for a nice local place for lunch and even though Dalton's was just a couple blocks from Times Square it was perfect! Bartender knew many patrons by name, service was quick and efficient and the food was top notch. We got the magarita flatbread and a Caesar salad. The pizza was good but the salad was awesome! Came with anchovies which is not a regular practice these days and the dressing was one of the best I've ever had!

Was recommend as a dive bar. I would say it's a step up from that. The prices were good for Manhattan. We just had some cocktails and an appetizer. Tomato soup and the pretzel bites. Everything that will served us was very good.

Great local bar, always has people in the bar so that's a plus. Friendly staff and great food. Happy hour prices are actually not bad. Can get packed at nights, especially game nights Nachos with steak 👍 Calamari with rock shrimp 👍 Hand cut fries good too.

Ahh Dalton's. When I think about the things I miss from the Big Apple, I think of bagels, pizza, good Szechuan and...Dalton's. For me, Dalton represents a real bar/pub. You know, the kind where they don't just serve beer but the food is actually good? Sure, there are a few in NYC but Daltons is the epitome for me. Let me rewind. I watched both Giants Super Bowl wins here (in the 21st century) and have been here many a time with friends and alone. I would arrive at 11/11:30, order brunch (f*cking delish), enjoy my Magners, then get a burger or some apps later in the day before stumbling out of there, stuffed and refreshed. I haven't place like Dalton's since. So, of course, the last time I was in NY, I made the trek over there on a Friday afternoon. Ordered a burger and beer and man, the wave of nostalgia hit me. The burger was excellent as always, the service people friendly, and always a good crowd of knowledgable sport fans could be found around the bar. Dalton's is just one of those NYC secrets, a place you hope is open forever.

I've come to Dalton's Bar and Grill a couple times with some buddies to catch a game. This most recent visit was no different. My buddies and I came by to catch a college football game recently. The bar was fairly packed, but we were able to get seating for our group. The vibe is fairly casual as others have noted. I ordered some nachos, which was pretty good but did take some time to arrive. My buddy ordered some shrimp, which were pretty good. I would definitely come back to Dalton's check out a game as the times I have gone by I was able to get seating unlike some other spots.

We were looking for a fun place to watch football on Sunday and decided to come here. They had all you can drink beer/or mimosas for $25 for 90 mins. Definitely worth it. Food was delicious and the bartenders were friendly and attentive.

Came during happy hour and had the chicken ciabatta sandwich. Service was quick and the food was good. They have a lot of TVs around the bar and the tables, so this would be a good spot to catch a game.

Heading to a show we had a little time to waste before the "Curtain Call". We decided to peek our heads into Daltons for a little Happy Hour exploration. This place was busy and loud, you can tell they have plenty of regulars. We grabbed a high-top and decided on some chicken sliders and rum punch. The service was quick and the staff attentive, which was a plus giving the volume of activity. The chicken sliders were tasty and would not mind stopping in again for a quick bite before a show. Just A Note: If you are of Caribbean/African American ancestry or decent... the Dalton's version of Rum Punch is not what you are accustom to.

Great casual sports bar with a lot of TVs and plenty of seating. I ordered the fried chicken sliders which were better than I expected. I stuck to gin & tonics which the bartender made well. She kept checking on us if we needed anything. We never had to flag her down for more drink orders. I'd come here again if I'm ever in the area.

Came here to watch the Super Bowl and so glad we did. There were so many great menu options for vegetarian and meat lovers alike. The service was fast and friendly. Our server kept our drinks full and checked on us frequently. There are TVs surrounding the place and enough space where you don't feel cramped. I would definitely come back if I lived in the area.

Dalton's was a fun place, and a great place to watch a Giants game and get the authentic New York experience. The waitress was sweet, but not overly attentive. Of course, they were very busy, so that's to be expected and not a knock on her. I ordered a lemonade, which was way over carbonated, but perhaps that's just the way they make them there. My guest said that the wings were great, and my food was pretty good as well. The worst part of the experience was that there was this guy that was talking way too loudly at one of the tables near us, to the point of literally screaming to his guests. It's not really the restaurant's fault, but I have no idea why he felt the need to talk that loudly. All-in-all, a fun place, would recommend.

Every lady that works here is amazing! They provide both friendly and attentive service without being overbearing 10/10 the spicy garlic shrimp is genuinely spicy and delicious

The bartender and everyone else were so chill. My friends and I had a great time talking with them. It gave the sports bar/pub energy I wanted. I'll be back. I can see this becoming my regular spot tbh.

Came here to watch the hockey playoffs with great company, food and drinks. Staff was very friendly and service was good. There is seating inside and outside with plenty of tv screens. We sat inside. Got here early but it wasn't crowded luckily...I'm sure it normally is. Full bar - sports decor everywhere for all teams! Happy hour specials during the week... Also HH drinks on the weekends til 7pm! Very rare and great deal! Great variety of food on the menu too! Drinks: Frozen maragarita, coronas and, malibu-cranberry. Food to share: Cheesy artichoke dip with chips and pretzel bites.. yum! Watched the entire game and cheered for the home team! The tv screen in front of us was on the fritz but other than that it was great watching the game! Let's Go NY! Will definitely be back again for food, drinks and good times!

A spacious bar accommodating transient sports fans in midtown west? There are certainly more than spots on a Dalmatian, however not all pint pulling lcd screen laden gin joints are oasis'. DALTON'S BAR AND GRILL IS NO MIRAGE!!!! Classic bar fare is elevated here, and the bartenders (particularly Michelle) must reside on Mount Olympus.....which is where their beer towers are guilded by artisans. Never leave without a selfie of you guzzling beneath the tap. Makes for a great embarrassing photo your significant other will chuckle at on her refrigerator for all eternity. 5 stars for Daltons!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lovely Irish run pub/bar with all day happy hour specials in the heart of Hell's Kitchen, a neighborhood in which I once lived many many years back. We ducked in here after the touristy ride aboard Circle Line. I was gonna take the Queen Bee to Rudy's just up the block. Alas, however: she wasn't in the mood for a hotdog. So what does she order? A Turkey burger. I ordered a regular burger: on the menu it said grass-fed. Her side is a side salad and mine is fries. I can eat burgers any/every day, which is why I look like a beached whale on the few occasions I choose to go somewhere to swim. It seems the kitchen is a wee bit slow, as we waited for our food over half an hour after ordering. It isn't even crowded in here, either! Mainly 80's and 90's music playing on their sound system and UEFA soccer action on the big TV sets scattered about the whole joint. Well: results seemed worthy of the wait. I really couldn't discern whether the beef in my burger was grass fed, hay fed, corn fed, grain fed or simply fed up. Still tasted like a good burger with a decent char and cooked decently medium. The bun held up well and didn't fall apart to leave a mess. Fries nice and crisp with no salt or anything. Queen Bee loved the salad with her turkey burger; both had all arugula rather than lettuce. Tahini dressing on the salad had her squawking and raving! All in all, a nice midday getaway from the frenetic atmosphere of my old hometown. Irene our barkeep is a pleasant and efficient lass who seems to treat regulars and tourists equally nicely. Menu a sight limited, but not a bad find overall.

Stopped here randomly and so happy I did. Happy hour drinks were amazing and so was the food! I ordered fish and chips and was delish and very well seasoned. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

It's now $10 for a cheep beer if you pay cash. More for credit card. The greed will draw the curtain to a close on this place. Tock tick. The countdown begins.

I totally recommend this place for happy hour! They have happy hour from 11-7 I believe, and there are 6$ cocktails that are VERY STRONG and VERY GOOD. Also it was not too crowded and the vibe was really nice. Not too touristy for the area!

After just arriving in the area, a friend and I were walking around the area and decided to try this restaurant. The menu which was posted outside looked really good. Since it was early part of the evening, we were able to be seated right away. Gabby, server, had greeted us shortly. The interior was more of a sports bar but very relaxing. The menu was had a little bit of everything to please everyone. We had decided to try the Chicken Wings with BBQ and the Harlem Mac N Cheese. Within a few minutes, the items were brought to the table. The wings were really good, but the Mac N Cheese was really bland, very disappointing. However, I would go back to try other items on the menu. Enjoy

A super casual sports bar. It was pretty packed on a weekday at around 9pm. It was pretty loud too, so it wasn't a great place to chat. Lots of people there were watching the game; vibe was perfect for that.

Steven the bartender is very cool!!! We got the calamari and the wings - SO GOOD. Calamari batter was delicious and properly seasoned - not overwhelming but amazing smell. The wings are crunchy and juicy, and the sauce clings to the wings so its not a complete mess to eat. Flavorful and easy to eat. My friend is a weirdo who only ate the veggies that came on the side and even he had good things to say. We also got the $20 Merlot - MAN THAT IS SOME BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!! It's tasty(I have a good palate). Definitely come here with big groups or people you love, you can sit comfortably and the music is just loud enough to have fun but still talk. I will say - if they played shawn mendes one more time I was going to lose it. A DJ or just anybody with better taste would go a long way. I volunteer as tribute!! I will be coming back. Thanks for the amazing time, I wasn't expecting to enjoy myself this much :)

Very good food and atmosphere. Plenty of TVs. Great beer selection. Recommend aioli sauce with the fries.

They are open...wide open. The barroom is lined like crown molding with flat screens...they even opened up little cabanas out front and ran the cable to the seats so everything is visible. A+ on that respect. The energy when local games are on also makes for an environment conducive to the fan. The food is passable but priced a little high for the portion size. This is all understandable based on the location..but if you hang in this neighborhood you are either from out of town or already know what you are getting into. The real star of the Burg was the french onion jam. Came out quickly and cooked evenly through even though the kitchen must have been busy. The staff, all the way from the doorman to the food runners save the 4th star in my review. Props to them for keeping up good spirits when it can get crazy out there!

I was running errands along 9th Avenue and I realized it was a Tuesday-Taco Tuesdays at Dalton's Bar. I wasn't sure at what time it started but found out after asking that it was all day. I walked in and was seated immediately. I was looking over the menu already knowing what I was going to get. I was not sure if I wanted 3 [minimum order] or more than that but I wasn't sure how big they would be and how filling they would be. The waitress came over and took my order and I told her 3 chicken tacos and a margarita. My drink came first and the tacos followed shortly after. The tacos were filling and delicious and the drink was great. It is a fairly large bar with the bar on one side and tables opposite the bar. The staff was attentive and accommodating and on Tuesdays it is very reasonably priced for a late lunch or an early dinner. I would recommend and return.

We wondered onto this bar on a Saturday night after a Harbor Cruise. The owner served us and he was absolutely wonderful! He kidded us about our University of Kansas gear we were wearing - he is from Missouri. Ordered the stacked nachos which were really delicious. Had a couple of beers and we were on our way. Great atmosphere (being able to watch a Big 12 football game in a sports bar in NYC is awesome!), glad we stumbled upon this bar!

We stopped by here on a whim because we wanted to watch the Florida State football game before we left NYC. We picked here based on good Yelp reviews and proximity to our departure place. I was pleasantly surprised. It is a clean, roomy sports bar with AC and ceiling fans. I hate going to a bar that's hot and stuffy and feel like someone's armpit. Plus there are real candles on each high top tables. There are a ton of Tv's and the hostess is nice to turn it to the sports team you want. Lots of drink specials during the week and weekend. The red sangria tasted pretty good $7. Well vodka $7. Tip: Check in on Yelp and get 20% off lunch entree during weekdays.

I've been here multiple times for games. It's a great atmosphere for any NY sports event. The service is good and pleasant. I wouldn't really come here for the food however. It's always just OK. Nothing to write home about. Also several times the place has been a bit untidy, with tables left uncleared. Also the lighting is a bit strange in there. But overall, a great place to watch the Rangers/Giants/Yankees, as game sound is usually on.

I've been going to Dalton's for years. Great atmosphere, tons of flat screens to watch the games ,fights. The crowd is causal, fun. The food is always great, the burger was very juicy. I love the fries, and the prices even in this challenging, economic times was reasonable. I sat at the bar with my buddy Bobby B, the bartender didn't skip a beat. Always tapping off my strong drink of a diet coke, or refilling my ice water. The manager who sat us was great, friendly. A shout to to my buddy Sean who is co-owner i know him from 46th street. I highly recommend it to hang to drink, to eat. God bless.

Order beer! They fill their hard alcohol bottles up with fake alcohol. Common practice amongst Irish Bars in NYC. It's really annoying, unethical, and illegal.

Randomly stumbled upon this bar walking through my neighborhood. My brother and I stopped in for a drink and to watch the Eagles Cowboys game because we are from Philly and it was such a great experience the staff was so much fun and the prices were very good for Hells Kitchen and the wings are incredible I highly recommend them. I will definitely be back

Rudest bartenders ever, asked me to look at a menu before ordering things they were out of when I was still waiting to even get a menu. They were rude and embarrassing honestly save yourself the time

My friend who lives in N.Y. suggested this place, so off we went and checked it out with her. Very loud and lively place! It's a place where you can enjoy a few drinks with friends and let loose.... be loud if you want lol service was great. Food and drinks were good. You can tell it's a place where people go after work to just unwind, have a few drinks and just enjoy the night before heading home.

Stumble into this place every now and then after work. I only been here late night so never gave the food a try or have any idea about happy hour. But always happy when I am there because of the tvs at every possible spot you can stand or sit at. Really dig the atmosphere when hometown New York teams are playing. Would recommend highly and will come back to try the food. Just heads up, it gets packed.

Not a bad spot at the place to watch games, had a party of 7 to watch the football games. We did make reservations but likely would have been ok without as 30 minutes before the first game, there were plenty of seats. Once the game started, place filled up but management was great in making sure it wasn't too crowded. Wait staff was fantastic and food was very good (wings/nachos/Ceasar salad/grilled chicken sandwiches). Happy Hour on weekends runs all afternoon so the prices were fair.

SOO, my " Cutie Bear " & I , go back to Daltons as always , ( OK all the time, ) to THEE BEST SPORTS PUB ( BAR ) you can find. You'll probably meet up with Sean , the " Manager / owner / barkeep / hire er of people / hardest working man in this business " . Sean is fantastic . No matter what , he gets it done, & keeps this place running. He only hires the most professional servers. ( plus he's cute, handsome, stoic, well built, & can make a great Manhattan. ) HMMM.. OK enough about " THEE GREAT SEAN. " The food is better than you'd expect, with a large varied menu, & " Taco Tuesday " is wonderful, with $ 3.00 tacos , all day & evening . The Telivisions are everywhere, beautiful, Large, & you don't have to strain your neck to see them . If a good football " soccer" game is on , the volume will be added for Xtra enjoyment. It's a long spacious bar, with COMFORTABLE HIGH BACK CHAIRS! . People forget how important this is. I've left restaurants , just because they changed their chairs , from comfortable, to " Holy crap, me arse is killing me. I need to leave! " and this is before you even order your 1st drink! I'm serious . It tiss also a spacious dining area, where one can eat, drink, watch a game or 6, listen to cool music, & gossip about your coworkers that you HATE, & yet, they can't hear you, even though they're seated at the next table . Besides if they DO hear you, Sean will take care of it for you . I live , & perform right in this area ( Times Square ) & come here when I finish work, or when I'm off work. Stumbled upon Dalton's when we were in the area feeling hangry. It was empty but had a bit of outdoor seating which was nice on a beautiful Sunday. Service was great during brunch, again, we were the only ones there for most of our meal. I guess everyone was out and about enjoying the weather. Brunch entrees include either a mimosa, screw driver or bloody mary which is a pretty good deal. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the breakfast sandwich which was nothing special but it did definitely fill my appetite. Lots of tvs to watch sports but also open window so you can have a bit of an outdoor feel on a warm day.

Was looking for a chill place to eat and drink before watching Little Shop, and Daltons was perfect. The vibe was very relaxed, and the food was delicious - we recommend the flatbread pizza, that was the best flatbread pizza we've ever had. We also went on a Tuesday night so it was taco Tuesday and it wasn't crazy full, I'm sure that changes depending on the day. Also, they had great music going, my boyfriend and I jammed the whole night. Overall, we recommend if you're looking for a simple but fun night out!

Scored seats at the bar on a busy night. We didn't order food so can't comment on that. Love that they have their beer menu posted on a TV screen. And they have a great selection of tough to find on draft brews. Plenty of TV's to watch sports. Bartenders were attentive. Clean, relaxed atmosphere.

This rating is solely based on food. Before I begin, the staff and service was excellent! I got the tacos and they were just below mediocre.. the best thing I can say about them that at least they were edible? They were in double tortillas and that kinda ruined it and the beef was just bland. I'd say come here for sports and drink but definitely not for dinner.

This is a wonderful Sports Bar, especially on Tuesdays, in part due to the superb tacos! A visitor from the other side of the country on vacation, this place was a welcome respite! Dalton's is very clean, the bartender was excellent at his duties, the ambiance was friendly, and the food and drinks were really great! Thanks for an unparalleled experience, guys!

Service was amazing, they are fast and friendly. Food was really good and the place is perfect to chat with your friends (music is not loud). I order a beef burger and was better than I expected. Fries were really yummy too! I would definitely come back.
