Dama Restaurant Venezia

A fantastic gastronomic experience. The food was fantastic, the staff were great and the ambience was relaxing. Beef tartare mixed at the table with a choice of ingredients, large plate of seafood and a unique lasagna with depths of flavour. Not cheap but worth every penny, great birthday treat.

A wonderful restaurant near the train station. What can i say but a pleasure to have had to chance to visit. As a michelin Guide restaurant, it definitely lives up. While everything deserves a mention, i would be remiss if i don't gush over the tiramisu. Every italian restaurant has their own takes on the tiramisu, from traditional to the abstract. For dama, i can say it is the best tiramisu i had in the last 10 italian restaurants. I've been in italy. That should say enough. A strong recommendation for anyone who has a pleasure to visit!

A very mixed review from someone who has stayed with the hotel. The breakfast and room service was wonderful. Both pastas on the lunch and dinner menu were great. (Tomato sauce with spaghetti and clam sauce pasta) the service was constantly over the expectation and wonderful. And so we thought dinner would be just as amazing as well. We tried the full course dinner menu the last night we were in Venice and it was terrible. I’m so sorry to say it but maybe because we have high standards for fish?? But everything that was fish related, almost inedible. We didn’t even take pictures of it and also had to leave the food it was so bad. We went out to have more food as we weren’t even full after the meal. I hope it’s a one off thing as it seems the normal reviews seems to be high but we were very disappointed at the meal. But to end of a high note, the service was impeccable. Very friendly and attentive staff all around. (First picture is the room service tomato pasta, and the second is the avocado toast for breakfast. Breakfast was wonderful)

I’m personally split on this beautiful restaurant. First let me start with the positives: - Beautiful and spacious restaurant, it feels modern and peaceful, perfect setting for a dinner experience - The service was good, the staff was friendly and knowledeable - I love that they have a partnership with a Champagne house! - Great Wine menu - The food is innovative, fresh and local My issue comes from the overall experience vs price. Some dishes were incredible, some dishes were misses and tried to push the limits too much. Overall though, I loved the food and enjoyed my meal. Here is the issue: they charge Michelin Stars prices and while their food and service are great, we ate at multiple Michelin Star restaurants during our 3 week trip (for either the same amount of money or in some cases less money) that were simply put, better. The consistency of the dishes quality was better, the service was better and the overall logical continuity of the meal was better. My favorite meal of our entire trip was at a Michelin Star restaurant and it was actually cheaper than Dama. If they lowered their prices a little, I would say it’s an amazing restaurant and a great experience. Unfortunately they’re a little too expensive right now.

Delicious 5-course lunch menu with a wine pairing here while we were visiting Venice. Excellent service and they answered all questions we had about the food and wine. The chef also came out to us after the meal. We loved the amuse bouche and the wooden block presentation too!

We had a very nice dinner and we tryed the degustation menu with 5 dishes. We were very impressed about the food, all the dishes except the desert were all based on fish. Very creative and yummy, interesting tastes. I totally recommend this restaurant. Must try!! The ambiance, the service and food was amazing. Thank you for the experience ✅

Besides top-notch preparation of dishes and lovely and tranquil ambient on a quiet evening, I want to highlight the mastery of the amazing waiter/sommelier that covered all tables with ease in several languages.

We went there for lunch and had the entire place to ourselves. The service and the food were amazing. It's not a usual stop in Venice, but if you're looking for an exceptional place, this is it.
