Damn Good Sweets

We saw this page on Instagram and were intrigued by the photos of the desserts. We decided to go and get some sweets to try, but there really weren't many, but I can totally understand why! The flavor is incredible, not at all sickening. Judging by the appearance, I was afraid the chocolate flavor would be too strong, but we really fell in love with their dessert, and the service was excellent! We will definitely be back.

Lovely patisserie with petit gateaux (think tiny layered desserts), macarons, classic cookies, brownies, blondies, sorbet, candy, and larger sharing cakes. Everything I tried on this first visit was expertly crafted with top notch flavors, textures, and presentation. Such an excellent treat!! This is a wonderful stop for desserts of all kinds. The prices are fair for the artistry that goes into these kinds of sweets. It’s more elegant than your run of the mill bakery, with unique treats that are the right level of decadent. They have desserts that are hard to come by in the area. Employees were so kind and there was a solid selection for all kinds of sweet tooth tastes. There are a few small high top tables up front with tall stools.

I ordered a customer graduation cake and Julian Belon, Executive Pastry Chef made an absolutely perfect cake. The design, elegance, featuring the details we discussed and graduation topper. The cake itself was moist and flavorful. The guest are still speaking about it a day later. Every bite was delightful. Julian went above and beyond to make it special. Highly recommend for any celebration!

1 can't say enough good things about Damn Good Sweets! From start to finish, they exceeded my expectations in every way. The real star of the experience was Sous Chef Diana, who brought my dessert table vision to life with pure professionalism, creativity, and incredible attention to detail. Not only did everything look absolutely stunning, but the flavors were out of this world! Each dessert was made with care, perfectly balanced, and full of rich, delicious flavors that had my guests raving all night. Diana's expertise and passion for her craft truly shine through in every bite. If you're looking for top-tier desserts that taste just as amazing as they look, Damn Good Sweets is the place to go! I’ve been waiting for a chance to stop by this new pastry shop and I’m glad I did everything in the shop looks good and taste omg I’ve tried two of the sweet and I can’t waitevuntil I go back and try more. We walked in and the owner baker was there waiting on the customers. Pleasant informative And very nice. Everything looks delicious fresh. They have two outdoor picnic tables to can take your sweets and sit out and eat. They have ice cream and they even sell candy. It’s a great place to stop after dinner or lunch and get delicious desserts. I can’t wait till I go back and get more . It’s worth every calorie.

When I walked in, there were 2 women engrossed in conversation, basically ignoring me for several minutes. Very limited selection and way overpriced, cakes @ $75 and small individual desserts @ $10. I bought 2 of the smaller dessert, I must admit that they were good.

i just got the cutest macarons today and holy moly theyre so yummy. the pink lemonade macaron is like a yummy fruit loop. i'm definitely gonna come back because everything there looked too good to pass, and i love some cute desserts

This place is super cute and the items look great. It’s nice to take as a gift when visiting friends or family. The taste isn’t amazing but it’s good and refreshing. Oh and the customer service is amazing!

Ordered delivery and was quick and came in a cute box and bag. I ordered pistachio and chocolate cake petit gateaux. I wasn't a fan of the pistachio which I was hoping to like, was surprised by the raspberry like filing inside for the description didn't say that. i was thinking it was a fluffy cake but inside it was a hard candy like coating. I knew I would love the chocolate one, very rich and different layers of chocolate.

I came on a whim after driving to Delray for something else. I will definitely return, delicate and intricate desserts illuminated a rather dreary day. Gilberto was super attentive and informative, he was pleasant and helpful through all my questions.

Fabulous cookies and cakes....Also beautifully decorated with attention to detail .....I highly recommend this place located on Atlantic and Lyons in the Joseph,s parking lot.. it's tricky to find, but worth it

Want the best quality and unique but approachable treats in palm beach country? This is the place. Display case full of unique treats for all palates. The key lime pie has the perfect tartiness. It's beautiful as a gift in a clear globe. Hazelnut cookies if available are a don't miss. Perfect crunchiness and huge. You can taste the high quality ingredients in all cookies including macadamia and chocolate chip. Another must try is their custom cakes. Most affordable and delicious in the area. I got Oreo filling, moist chiffon vanilla cake (could taste the vanilla-delicious) and Swiss buttercream so airy it melted. What are you waiting for? Perfect place for yourself or a gift.

Wow, this place really lives up to its name. Never had anything like this - really delicious and unique desserts. The mango cake is especially scrumptuous. Best sweets ever!

The little gem of a bakery is fantastic! I am a huge fan of Warren Restaurant, located in the same shopping complex (most know it as the complex where Joseph's Market is located). Julien Belon, the award winning Executive Pastry Chef for Warren, is in command here. While Warren only offers a few desserts on their menu (don't miss the Banana Cream Cheesecake), here you have an opportunity to see a display of cakes, pastries, cookies, ice creams etc. that will dazzle you. The chef is typically on site, so I had an opportunity to speak with him and let him know how impressed I am with his work. He is dedicated to his craft and you can feel his passion. Having him working alongside Warren's Head Chef, Rich Achaia, is a blessing for all culinary fans in the area. This is a "to-go" shop. I picked up a Key Lime Tart and an Oatmeal Cookie... both fantastic. I've had their ice cream at Warren and it's excellent. Wish they'd offer ice cream pints at the store. I love everything about this place. Be warned, DAMNGOOD SWEETS is habit forming! I'm already hooked. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

My friend and I first sampled Damn Good Sweets delectable desserts by chef Julian Belon during a Dessert Wars events. Their coconut confection made such an impression on my friend that she followed their journey into their first brick and mortar store in West Delray Beach. Damn Good Sweets is located in the shopping plaza near the turnpike that has Joseph's Italian Market in it. Go past the Dunkin' Donuts and look for the balloons out front. The store front is small but adorably decked out in pink and marble. There are only four stools at a counter so plan on takeout. We came after dinner on opening day so the selection was pretty thinned out. If you follow them on Instagram they will give you a free scoop of ice cream this week. Their Petite Gateaux, French for little cakes are $10. I got a hazelnut cake and a $5 brownie. Both were good but I wish they added chocolate chips to the brownies. You can order their ice cream by itself or in milkshakes and in ice cream sandwiches. They also sell whole cakes, drip cakes, macarons, and candy by the pound. Prices are steep but inline with a chef driven gourmet bakery. I definitely want to come back early in the day to see more of the selection. We happened upon this quaint sweet shop while pulling into a local market for baked goods. We ended up here, purchasing multiple items and so far all have been delicious and very beautiful to the eye also. Kids loved the Cookie Monster type cookie which was a sugar cookie base. We also enjoyed the blondie brownies with marshmallow toppings to become a s'more. Peanut butter cookie was good but not best ever. The only missing mark , was a feeling that the employee didn't really find our questions valid. Interesting as we praised each and reconfirmed with multiple purchases. Since each item was not marked, it was hard to note the flavor and focus of each pastry, cookie, cake, brownie and other unique baked goods. Checkout was quick and simple. They also appear to offer a sherbet or gelato station.

When you walk in your eyes light up with all of the beautiful sweet treats that are available. Everything is delicious and fresh.

I've been reading about this place for a while and finally made it there today. Glad I did just really whatever you say. The sweet Taste as good as it looks. The owner chef was there very nice and pleasant. There's no tasting sorry to say but we did purchase and I was very happy with my butter Loaf and chocolate dessert can't wait to go back and try those cookies well just about anything in the case they are open till 8 PM's during the week and nine PMs on Friday and Saturday they have a few outdoor picnic tables that you can sit there and indulge so after you have dinner, you can stop in and indulge and all I can say it's worth every calorie

Gilberto was so nice and super helpful with all items for my first visit. Super nice customer raved about his favorites which i ended up purchasing.

Good customer service and a cute shop. That's where it ended for me. We got four items and the only thing worth the calories was the key lime jar. Cookie was hard and I tossed after 2 bites; the cupcake was dry and hardly any filling; the black forest presentation was nice but dry and no cherry flavor. None of my family enjoyed it and we each had a bite of everything before chucking it in the bin. Definitely style over substance.

I wanted every damn good sweet when I walked in. The presentation of the desserts is very good. The service from Aly was amazing and she was so nice. Highly recommended!

Best desserts ever. Cookies are amazing and the the cupcakes incredible. Emily is adorable and very knowledgeable and patient when describing the desserts. I can't wait to come back!

I had to be out west (and this is west of Delray Beach) and decided to try this newer shop and it was okay. Of the desserts we ordered only one was good with the others being okay to not worth eating. If this were a consensus review then it would be less stars as my friends did not like the assortment I purchased. However I thought one of the desserts was fine and I'm generous in my ratings. The shop wouldn't warrant a drive far out west but if I were in the area I might give them another try.

first visit , some success mostly not. choc mousse mini cake with ganache was amazing. the chocolate egg that was supposed to be coconut inside was not coconut at all and was inedible. I don't know what it was nor do I know what the "yolk" was either. Flavors were just not discernible the chocolate cookie was ok .

Everything looks amazing! Definitely gonna try ice cream next time and their cakes look so good and cute! Amazing service and clean!!!!

What a treat (no pun intended!) Not only do they have the most delicious sweets and desserts, the service is incredible and the store is so lovely.

The inside of Damn Good Sweets looks like a dream. Everything is decorated in pink and white. We picked out an assortment of macaroons: vanilla, chocolate, pistachio, creme brûlée and more. The staff was very welcoming telling us about the delicious treats. I can't wait to buy a cake for something, anything.

We love this bakery! My kids request to come all the time and whatever we try is always so delicious! We've had the ice cream and baked goods and they never disappoint! Such amazing quality, flavors and creativity! And the girl at the counter is always so patient and friendly! Highly recommend!!

Emily is awesome! She's a sweetheart and the ice-cream was great. So was the pistachio dessert! Definitely come here it's such a cute vibe.

Great cookies! My favorite s the almond joy. Second is chocolate chip. They are fabulous! Also cupcakes are wonderful. Fabulous taste. Unique flavors. Not too sweet. Just right!

This place and the dessert was absolutely incredible!! The chocolate ice cream was outstanding, and the milkshake was excellent.

We just picked up some macaroons and a delicious mousse cake concoction and it was absolutely delicious. The customer service was great and the store inside was cute. The only negative would be that I don't want to tell my son the name of the little bakery because the name is a curse word. We will definitely be back though to pick up some cookies cakes and macaroons.

Great cookies, my favourite is the white chocolate macadamia. The ice cream is nice too.

Everything is fresh and made in-house!! We got 3 massive cookies and some ice cream (best ice cream I've ever had). Totally recommend, worth every dollar!
